A big thanks to Mike Smith who worked with us and the Toyota manager to find and make the inter dealership trades to get exactly the Toyota we wanted. A red RAV4 hybrid that we are thus far enjoying immensely! Averaged 47.6 mpg on the first tank of fuel. Wow. Comfortable ride as well. We are very pleased with the dealership and the vehicle.
Was looking for a first car for my son, found the perfect ride at City. Jacob was more than attentive. He worked with us through the process even off time. Really appreciate his willingness to answer questions and go the extra mile to get us what we needed.
Overall great experience buying a new car here. I personally didnt have any hard sell tactics or pressure to buy additional packages I didnt want from Buck my salesman or finance department. I have not taken my car in for maintenance yet so I cant speak for the maintenance department yet.I had already done my research on 2 vehicles I was interested in and what trim levels and prices I should expect. Their offer was below sticker price and didnt try to throw in any hidden fees such as document fee which is a good sign. I would recommend this dealership to friends or shop here again.
I had a great experience with this dealership. No pressure and found the truck I wanted. Virgina was awesome, helpful and patient. it took me a while to find the right dealership and the vehicle I really wanted. Just moving here from Vegas it was a breathe of fresh air not having sharks trying to sell me a vehicle.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE purchasing my new Toyota 4Runner!!! I have purchased a lot of vehicles from different dealerships around town This was my first with City Toyota and it was exceptional!! I was able to negotiate the deal with Mike Smith at City Chevorlet and get my 4Runner ordered...he then turned me over to Buck Merriweather at Toyota since he is the Toyota expert. Both salesmen kept me up to date on the arrival of my new car, and dealt with my constant pestering because I was sooooo excited!!! As soon as the 4Runner arrived and was processed, I came in with my husband and Buck spent all the time we needed explaining to me all the bells and whistles on my new car. It was just a phenomenal experience and I will likely be a lifelong customer now!!! Thank you City for making car buying enjoyable!!

Quick service. I appreciated that they were honest and that I didnt need the new air filter that was due to me and gave it to me to bring back on a subsequent trip. I appreciate that they confirmed when I purchased the vehicle so that I wasnt using up one of my Toyota Care visits unnecessarily. They usually wash the car so the vehicle is just as great on the outside as under the hood.

But.... today we went in to buy a new vehicle and the dealer was not interested in selling anything today. Maybe he was tired or something who knows! Still some effort should of been put into selling to us. He did let us test drive the vehicle we went to buy, which I appreciated. We did have to ask to test drive it and the look he gave us was not happy. (It was completely out of gas and we had to put some in or we would of been stranded on the side of the road! ) Maybe he saw us and didnt realize how serious we were about purchasing) He didnt ask us any questions that is normally asked when a dealer wants a sale ie....like trade Ins or even give us a business card.... We got no questions and no negotiations! We wont be buying in Great Falls and its sad as we try to keep our business here. I give the dealer part of city toyota a 1 star ☆. Bozeman toyota has been in contact with us and seem like they want our business so we will be going there.Update::::::: We picked up our brand new 2021 Toyota Sienna XSE last week from Bozeman Toyota! We love our new vehicle and are so happy with the service we recieved we will be going back to Bozeman to buy the new Toyota Tundra when it comes out next fall. Service department alone is worth buying a vehicle from this dealership, we drive two hours from Havre and will continue to. Service managers stick to their times and get you out fast, quality products better service.
I had bought a used 4runner from here a while ago and when I test drove it, there were no dash lights on and all seemed fine.They agreed to put new tires on it when I purchased it and, though the tires were pretty cheap, they were free so I cant complain.I drove it home with an appointment to return and get the new tires put on, again, with no warning lights on the dash.When I got my 4runner back the tire pressure monitor light was on. I checked the air pressure (spare as well) and all seemed well. I figured it may be a dead sensor battery and decided to get it looked at next time I needed a new set of tires.Well the time came, I ordered new tires, and had a shop put them on. I asked if they could check my TPMS to see what was going on and was later informed that there were no sensors installed in the wheels.The only possible conclusion I could come up with is that the dealership took them when they installed the free tires. The sensors are about $100 each, so I guess they figured they could recoop some of the money from giving me tires.Im pretty open minded so if I can be convinced of another scenario where those sensors would go missing, Id be more than happy to adjust my review.I paid asking price for that 4runner that I know they had just bought the day before and flipped. They didnt even clean the inside from the previous owner... Not like I tried to Drive a hard bargain I just wanted that car...

I dont trust the toyota dealership here in Great Falls, Mt. Someone was allowed to make a copy of my car key and has been stealing my car periodically ever since. I know this because I take the mileage down every night and the next day the mileage has increased. I was told that the dealership is the only place a chipped key could be made. So Someone at the dealership is dirty, be very weary of what you trust them with, cause you could be the next victim of the foul plays going on at this dealership. The dealership says that would never happen there, unfortunately even a dealership cant control when an employee decides to go Rouge.

We live an hour away. We took in our 2007 Toyota for a recall after calling first to set up the appointment. The car sat for over an hour, at which point, they said they had forgotten to get to it and wed have to come back. The second trip in, they said they needed to order the parts. They were finally able to complete a simple airbag recall after bringing the car in for the third time. I found their service department severely lacking.
As someone that lives about 80 miles outside of Great Falls and comes to Great Falls because I have a lot of tasks/meetings, I appreciate the convenience of being able to drop my car off for service, and having a shuttle for pick up and drop off. And a busy single person, it was nice that when I purchased my car, the salesman was willing and able to pick me up at another location in Great Falls (where my truck was being serviced) and bring me to the dealership to sign the paperwork and drive away in my new (to me) vehicle. I also like the comfortable waiting room.

I own an older Tacoma and am never in need of anything aside from oil changes and tires. I have never been a fan of taking any vehicle to a dealership, outside of warranty work. But I may need to re-think that one. My Truck developed a significant but occasional noise. City Toyota put it on the lift on two different dates in an attempt to pinpoint the issue to no avail. They did so at no charge. On the 3rd attempt a few days later...they were able to pinpoint the issue (carrier bearing). Everyone was extremely helpful. The service manager took multiple test rides with me, trying to diagnose the trouble. The service desk guy was awesome. No complaints here and would definitely recommend to other customers. My taco is running strong again with no issues. Thanks City Toyota!!
We had issues with the first used vehicle we picked, big issues that would if meant sending it to Missoula to get fixed so we went a head and picked a different one and they were so professional and helpful with the whole situation, they set us up with a loaner car as we waited for our new one and they got our new one back to us just in time for our trip. We will definitely be buying from them again.
After frustrations with other Toyota dealerships I was about to start looking out of state for a vehicle. Thankfully I made the call to the last dealership on my list which was City Toyota and was put in touch with GL. I was up front with him about what I wanted and was looking for and expressed my frustrations with my experiences so far. He was very professional and assured me he would do everything he could to get me into the car I wanted. I felt assured that I would be getting the best service he had to offer. He was quick to respond to my emails and set me up with the perfect 4Runner. He was a pleasure to work with and this was my best car buying experience by far. City Toyota is now my dealership of choice!
1. Service people are knowledgeable and get the job done for me every time.2. I can wait for an oil and filter change because the service dept. is on schedule.3. If longer term service is needed, a courtesy ride is provided so I can go home or to work and be picked up again when my vehicle is ready.4. Everyone is friendly, from service managers to cashiers.5. A quick and free general inspection of the cars tires, brakes and battery is performed, and servicing of them recommended when needed.
The customer service and facilities are great, I just think some minor things could be worked on. The last couple of times I visited I was told I had filters that were dirty and needed to be replaced soon, but I replaced them with toyota parts a month prior. This leads me to believe an inspection was not actually conducted.

So I found this car on cars.com . I live in Nashville Tn the said in question car was located in Great Falls Mt 1900 miles away . The car had a clean car fax no accidents ... a 2018 Vw beetle with 9,900 miles roughly rare bottle cap green color . I was excited about getting the car sold my Mercedes-Benz and got a Cashiers check and scheduled my flight out of Tn . My best friend and wife took the day off who live in Missoula drove me 3hours one way to City Toyota in Great Falls Mt . Pulling in to the dealership I was super excited about getting this awesome car ! They got the car that you put a 500.00 dollar deposit down on and it looks great from a distance . Upon inspection of the car it had 9 inch creased fender with such a terrible repair that would make a 14 year old boy with severe acne look like a GQ model . The rear bumper was pushed out on both sides and an obvious accident was had on the car not disclosed to car fax . A busted can of biscuits would look better . When I pointed this out to the GM He said and I quote I know you are a Vw enthusiast, and that bothers you... but the next person who buys this car wont care I said really ?? Thanks sell to the next person then and got my deposit and a plane ticket back to Nashville. If I could give this experience a negative star I would, but one is as low as it goes . Buyer beware and I would not recommend this dealership.
Not only is my car well taken care of, but my children and I are, too. Everyone is always so kind and thoughtful. I appreciate that the waiting area is comfortable, the bathroom is clean and has a baby changing area, and there are toys/books for my kids to play with.

The customer service was less than great. I spent most of my time sitting in the room by myself... than the car selection is limited on the lot so the one vehicle that you may want to look at youll have to wait and come back. But the facility is nice, big and clean.
I went in to look at a silver, 2020 Corolla Hybrid and actually had a salesperson come talk to me in the parking lot! Last several times Ive visited no one even cared to come out and ask how I was doing. Magda was very professional and wasnt pushy at all. After talking with her for a bit, I decided to ask for a test drive. She grabbed the key and we met up front so I could switch my car seat over to the Corolla. She even watched my 1 year old as I switched the car seat and got it settled in. During the test drive, she was very knowledgeable on everything I had questions on. No other salesperson has been able to provide that amount of information on their products, especially when it comes to hybrids and electric cars. Needless to say, even though I know I wont be able to get financed, the whole experience was a breath of fresh air knowing that someone is at least training and up to speed on their job! Very outstanding experience and when Im able I will most definitely be back! Ask for Magda if you are planning on going to City Motors as she will absolutely take care of you!

My husband and I went to Toyota to buy a pick up which we were very excited about! He had spoke to a sales agent on the phone and thought he seemed fine. Once we arrived, we got a totally different vibe. First of all, we do our research when buying vehicles, second of all we make decisions TOGETHER.When someone tells you they are giving you the BEST interest rate possible and you’ve done your research, you get to decide if that’s true or not. When you let the salesman know that you’ve in fact found a better rate and his response is “it’s only a few dollars difference a month”.....umm who are you to decide what that might mean for someone. Okay, so then I go chase after my kid and he tries to get my husband to agree to what I just told him no on....wowAnyways the finance guy was GREAT! Also, if you go to Toyota to buy....deal with Jay! He was great! In the midst of all the back and forth I got to visit with him, I recommend dealing with him if you get the choice!

We live in Raleigh, NC drove 10,000 miles across the US and Canada, car computer had check engine light on because of bad gas in the Dakotas. For a dealership service department, I have had pretty good luck. Honest opinions and pretty competitive pricing. Its always comforting to know mechanics are trained on your specific make (Toyota in my case) and are using OEM parts.

I took my car in for a recall, first there was a note on the paper that said my car was excessively filthy. My car had some clutter in the vehicle- I have four kids and a deployed husband - sorry if my vehicle was not to your standard. And next who ever worked my car thought it was necessary to change my clock, which is petty and ridiculous, please encourage your maintenance people not to do stupid things like that. Also, there was a note saying that there was no owner manual to update. I opened my glove box and it was literally sitting right on top, so guessing that was just another petty move by the maintenance department. Not impressed!

On 1/29/19, I took my 2011 Tundra for a regular oil/filter change and tire rotation service. The following day, my co-worker noticed my skid plate was hanging on the drivers side with missing bolts. I talked to Nik Allee around 2:00 PM and was asked if I can bring it in so they can order the parts. I got to the service department by 2:30 PM and was met by Nik Allee and Pasquale LeMoine and both looked at the discrepancy. Pasquale asked if they can put it up for a better look and it should not take that long. Apparently, who ever worked on it, took the entire skid plate off instead of just dropping one end only to access the oil pan drain and filter and obviously put it on incorrectly without safety or quality assurance check. This time apparently a master technician was working it. 1.5 hours later it rolled out, mind you I have to take leave for this. Pasquale looked at it and concluded it was still crooked and appeared to be bent. He took some pictures and mentioned something that their body shop might be able to do something about it but his manager was in a meeting but will get back with me.Needless to say, I was NOT happy with this service. :(I am just glad my co-worker noticed it. This could have been a safety issue have I been driving in the freeway for an extended amount of time. :(Ed Lara

Quite unhappy. Took van to them to replace winshield. Asked Insurance Agent about replacing wiper blades as windshield had been cracked. Agent said to tell them to add it to bill and insurance would pay. Service person said they could not change them. I followed van to shop and noticed a tailight was not working. Attendent said they could take care of it. After several hour wait, asked to return van to us to go home. I will change blades, fix tailight and take other appropriate action

Best Techs for Toyota in town, beats many on synthetic oil changes
We came in on Saturday used car shopping, just to see what might be available and to look at a vehicle we found on your website. We know one of the salesman, Rusty, so we looked for him to assist us. We found the vehicle from the website, Rusty took us on a test drive and we discussed the options of the vehicle and the value. We sat down with Rusty and wrote up the paperwork to purchase the vehicle and with the input of Al and Bill were able to come up with a deal we could live with. By then it was 5:00 on Saturday so we needed to wait until Monday to get our financing through MFCU. Monday came... We came in at 11:30 to get delivery of our new vehicle, this is were we were really impressed. MFCU said we needed a lot more of a down payment in order to finance with them, so before we came in Bill had reached out to Wells Fargo and secured us financing. Bill also looked back at our past purchases with City and got us a refund on our previous extended warranty, got us prices for a new extended warrenty (assuming that we would purchase, and we did). Bill had all the answers to the questions we had on warrenty, gap insurance, and vehicle registration. We are very satisfied with our experience with City Motors. We are only waiting for an extra key and remote key fob, and for the weather to warm up so the windshield can be repaired. If anything negative to say, it would be that I think the windshield should be replaced not repaired, as the vehicle is a 2014 and certified.
