I wanted to get a hands-on experience instead of just buying over the Internet. I was helped by Kimmy. She had a really good knowledge of the different blades and their features. She took the time to find out what I was looking for instead of just trying to sell me a knife. I walked out with the one I wantedThey have a really good selection and their prices were just as good as I could get online. I also have a great store for firearms and accessories. All the employees were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely go there again.

Was a beautiful facility and the front of house staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Went to the 25 yard range on Friday and wasnt thrilled. Our range master was rude after a small mix up with which lane we were supposed to be in (It was empty). A simple youre in the wrong lane would have sufficed. You dont have to enjoy your job but you could at least act like it. Ive had a much better experience at other ranges that are 1/4th of the price and actually want you to have a good time. Wouldnt recommend if youre looking for a new range.

Great 1st visit. We came to Grapevine to try out the new Harvest Hall food hall (see separate review) and came here to find 9mm ammo. No joy; they had some but out of my price range darn. The staff was most helpful and courteous as we discussed the ammo issues. And get a bad boy photo of me with their mini-gun. Only $500 to bust some caps with that gun. Probably a Christmas/birthday present combined next year. Mask wearing right now is at the option of the customer. None of staff was wearing a mask.

Always a great experience at this location. Have used the range multiple times, have purchased high end thermals, scopes, and firearm accessories at the store and have a good visit each time i stop in.

Been going here for a little while now and I have to say this is the best place I have been. The employees are very polite. They are very honest on there option to help you get an idea of what firearm might work for you. The 1 on 1 training is very topnotch. I would highly recommend you give this place a try.

The store has just about anything that you could need. I noticed that the price of ammo was less than I expected. The short range is the only area that we visited. It was clean and very professionally designed and managed. The ROs did a great job of watching us without interfering with us. I visited during the week around 1-2 pm, so the place was very quiet. Its a nice range for a hot day!

I purchased several items at TGE today. All of the personnel were friendly and helpful, as has always been the case when I visit the store. Natalie and Kimmy were particularly helpful, kind, and both had good senses of humor. I know this because I think I am super hilarious and although they did not ask me to perform live stand-up there in the future, they did seem to appreciate my dry sense of humor. In short, they could not have been more charming.Although I am a real, live (and super hilarious) customer, I am leaving this review under an alias, but only because if I used my real name, I would be bombarded with ladies trying to call me for dates, which I am not able to field thoroughly right now, given that this is my busy time of year…Seriously, if you haven’t been to TGE, you should consider going there soon. I attended the intro to handgun class and learned a lot of very useful information in a way that was both interesting and engaging. It is a great class for anyone who might not be totally used to handling guns or has never handled one before. I came back a few days later to practice at the range and really enjoyed using their top notch facilities in a non classroom setting too. I am grateful to have such an excellent resource so close to my home. Would strongly recommend this place to anyone interested in any kind of firearms.

Great retail area, impressive stock of rental guns, the RSOs do a good job policing up brass and enforcing range safety. No issues with the targeting system. It does a basic goes out and comes back, perfect for just working on simple basic marksmanship. Prices are par with the range I work at in Allen. I hung out with two of the RSOs who are Army vets (I didnt get their names but one was an 11B and the other a 15R), great guys. Ill definitely come back to this range when I come through the Grapevine area to rent some of the big guns on the wall.

This place is fantastic. Not only is the facility itself head and shoulders above anywhere else Ive seen, the customer service is second to none. I received private instruction from Kris on two weapon systems that are not easily found or available. Kris was extremely knowledgeable coming from a Marine Corps background and went above and beyond my expectations. Not only will I continue to use Texas Gun Experience, I highly recommend it to both experienced and non-experienced gun enthusiasts.

I have been a member going on 2 years now, TGE is a great place with a lot of fun and information employees, like John, Kevin Alex and John. The range is always clean and as I said people are always helpful. I would recommend that anyone in Grapevine or its surrounding areas to give it a try.

However i thought i would give it another chance this last weekend, and i was VERY pleasantly pleased.Joe ( i hope i remember his name correctly) was extremely helpful in answering my string of questions, and providing helpful insightfulness and guidance. So much so that not only do i have an idea of the next two classes i will be signing up for training at this store. My FFL dealer and everything went smoothly, came to shoot at their range and everyone was pretty helpful and friendly. Definitely will be back. Ammo is a bit more pricey compared to other places I’ve seen but they don’t have limits on how many boxes you can purchase so that’s a good thing. Overall an awesome place to come shoot and to pick up gear or ammo.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. For our annual guys day out (which usually starts in a gun range) I wanted to do something different. Texas Gun Experience is the only facility I know of, in the DFW area, that has full auto rentals with or without suppressors. There are two Angelas that I worked with to arrange this. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It was a true concierge experience. The Range Safety Officers were a perfect combination of instructional and pretty funny. They do take safety serious, though.My experience was so fantastic, I am surprising my mother with firing their Bulldog Gatling gun. There are many great ranges in DFW, but if you are looking for a top-tier experience, this is the place.

Brought a parts kit in to be worked on, the gunsmith looked it over, said it would take a while but theyd call me when its done. Got a call today, a month later, saying they suddenly cant work on it because their compliance department says so. They strung me along for a month on sheer dishonesty. In addition, they blatantly gouge their prices on ammo. This place runs like a scam outfit and I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

The Gun range was great, but the best thing about this range was the people that work there! I have two daughters both going for their LTC soon and are fairly new shooters, which we asked if one of the range masters would be kind and give any advice or help as they see fit, a range master named Dustin offered to watch and coach them and offered to continue to help any time we came back in if he was working and work with them. Four practice sessions later they were ready to take their test and both of my daughters passed almost with perfect test and range scores. So I would like to say thanks to, Dustin, Collin, the clerks and other staff that all helped my family with learning to shoot, you might have just help save one of my daughters life in the future.

Was in town for a convention with my team and we thought this would be a fun event. We were right! It was absolutely a highlight of our trip. We are not all guys but the staff were great, set up the guns and made sure each of us we knew what we were doing. They handled the guns and all we had to do was aim and shoot. If you have not tried a fully automatic weapon before it is really a rush. The folks here make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door.

Id like to personally thank Blaine for his excellent help 2 days ago, (Tuesday, September 21, 2021), which was the 37th anniversary of the day I graduated from Marine Corps boot camp at MCRD, San Diego. I brought in an old Luger 9mm & Blaine helped me trade it in for an upgrade to a Glock 45 9mm. I got to use the indoor range for the Try Before You Buy & it was awesome! Never have had anything except good experiences here. Great staff all around and I particularly like having access to so many female staff members as it allows me to get feedback on female-specific gun and protection challenges. Gun range is well run and easy to access and classes have been very good.

Im a returning customer and usually have a good experience. I went in and Steve helped me with a transfer. He must have been having a bad day because he seemed like he was in a bad mood and I was wasting his time.When he came back with my gun another salesman (Young guy with beard) was saying he could buy my gun and have it built in the back for $400. I disagreed with him but he just walked away and said nice case though in condescension.The people at the front counter and James are always nice. Maybe they can train some customer service to the other salespeople.Edit: Talked with management and we worked it out. I appreciate the quick response.

This place and the people here are amazing and it was obvious why they have a 5.0 star rating! I wanted to use a date night here to propose to my girlfriend and they were more than helpful! When I told them my plan all they wanted to do was help and make it as special as possible, which they did! They even reached out to me several times to see what else they could do and to make sure everything was in order. It wasn’t something extra I paid for and they did everything just to help out and service me. They had the target with will you marry me written on it all set up and ready and even had TV’s displaying congratulations with our names and took pictures without me even asking. Overall, this is an excellent range. They are off to an amazing start, with the place having been established not too long ago. They have a friendly and very knowledgeable staff, solid prices on ammunition, and excellent inventory. Even considering the craziness of these last couple of months, I still found what I was looking for, and thats saying something.Their rental fleet is second to none (probably the best in north Texas), once you consider the fact that many exotic weapon systems are included as options. Its not just stuff of the Eugene Stoner variety within these walls... I went in today, and was not disappointed. Definitely looking forward to next time.Plus...they have a Minigun. I mean, wow. Didnt think Id see one of THOSE to rent. I love my state.

This was not my first purchase from the seller. I had zero issues with those previous orders so I was surprised by the number of hoops I had to jump through just to get my pistol shipped. Between messages and phone calls I spent entirely too much of my time fooling with TGE customer service. I came to ask questions about blue label pistols and one of the employees was being really rude and i was telling him i was in the military and he said what are they gonna do send you to the brigg because he did not know any gun laws, was also miss informed while purchasing a fire arm and it took 3 weeks just to get ahold of something to get my part they had ordered.

Wife and I have been to a hand full of local ranges in DFW. Maybe its the location but walking in and getting a lane on 4th if July weekend was easy with no wait. Ya this review is late. Staff wasnt overly annoying but still available to assist when roaming product floor. Way more in stock than I expected. Prices seemed fair considering certain in demand products. A little far from where Im at but worth the drive for the experience. The facility gets 5 stars but the website could use improvements relaying inventory.

My experience at TGE, has always been *good* but this last time, is was *AMAZING* - Ashley was beyond helpful, answered all my questions (I had a lot, I’m like a toddler) my boyfriend had a gun transferred there and his background check took a bit because of how common his name is and she was BEYOND patient! If you’re going to go see anyone there, it should be her! She doesn’t treat you like a customer, she treats you like you’re her new best friend! I will definitely be going back solely because of her! This place was a blast! My wife and I had a layover on our way back to Canada and we had never used any firearms. These guys took the time to show us how to safely handle load and shoot. They were friendly and helpful the whole way through and Im happy to say we had a great time!

First time here and we had a group of 5, we did the pick 5 machine gun experience. The staff was so cool, knowledgeable, not over bearing, had appropriate sense of humor. This place was awesome! I had called around multiple places looking for some specific products. Each and every place I spoke to was either out of one or multiple things I was asking for, or kinda had a rude attitude wanting to rush me off of the phone. So I called Texas Gun Experience.After going through the automated selection to get to the right department, maybe one or two rings and a man named Joe picked up. He was very nice, straight to the point and didn’t beat around the bush and even better, they had everything I was looking for. I told Him thank you, I’m coming to your store as soon as I finish this appointment and looking for Joe. He quickly said you don’t have to do that, we aren’t commission based so any of us can help you get squared away.I’m just not that kind of person. Once I like someone and they work the way I like to, I stick to them.Arriving at the store I noticed quickly that this was a large and impressive looking place. Which led the extremely complimentary interior set up, variety and organization. The awesome service kicks off as soon as you break passed the doors, not a single person let me walk by without asking if they could help me with something, but I was looking for Joe.I told a gentlemen who I was looking for and he went to find him immediately. Joe didn’t disappoint. My experience sucked they discriminated us for being black and mexican saying that I was buying guns to give to under age people didnt even ask for IDs just horrible never going to that place again as well ignored us when we trying to purchase a gun like they need to educate themselves on how customer service should be giving.

My son and I were first time customers (from New Hampshire) last weekend while in the area for other attractions. We stopped in to shoot three machine guns and the BMG. Great experience overall. First time firing a handgun for both my wife and me. The facilities are top notch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We booked an hour with Danielle for private instruction and she was outstanding. I did have difficulty earlier getting another trainer to respond to my inquiries but once I spoke to the front desk folks, they connected me with Danielle and it went smoothly from that point forward. We were quite pleased.
