Black Tie Guns is truly one of a kind firearm shop! They are without a doubt one of the best, if not the best firearm shop in the metroplex and surrounding area. Great store and Great ownership. I would definitely recommend anyone to pick Black Tie Guns.

I came in for a boutique caliber of ammo that everyone else was out of. Found out through casual and pleasant conversation that they had a firearm I’ve been looking for what seemed like an eternity. Came back the next day and bought it. Price was fair and not inflated like other gun stores have been doing.Now what sets these guys apart from other stores is the customer service and wealth of knowledge. Both days I was there, I could have been in and out in less than 15 minutes, but I ended up staying about 45+ minutes each day. Gerard and his business/practice partner answered every question I had, showed me tons of great gear and the conversations and pleasantries alone makes them my new favorite gun store.I will most definitely be returning for some custom work on 1 or 2 of my defensive handguns and they will be my first choice when I’m ready to ditch my budget AR for something I would trust my life with. I’m looking forward to when they open their stand alone store as they currently run the store out of their law practice.

Super easy process and very helpful guy. Took time to answer some of my stupid questions and got me in and out in 20 minutes with my new lower. Would definitely recommend if youre local to Grapevine.

This was the best experience Ive ever had buying a firearm. Gerard who is the owner was very knowledgeable AND does custom work as well if that is your thing. I just bought an FDR15 rifle made by F1 firearms which is American made and very reliable in the ar15 spectrum and Gerard walked me through as to why it is such a great rifle/company brand. The process of doing the background check and paying for the item literally took maybe 10 mins in total we actually spent most of the time talking about the different options of ARs that would fit my needs. Best experience and I will be back when Im ready for upgrades on my rifle! 5 stars.

I was extremely satisfied with Black Tie Guns. The professionalism was unmatched, the quality of firearms is amazing the knowledge of guns and gun LAW was also amazing. I highly recommend him for guns and gun accessories. Seeing as I’m not much of the store person it was nice to have a private appointment with him then pick it up later at his office.

Got an uncommon firearm I had been looking for no problem. Other stores told me I couldnt get one. Great service, super effort and attention. Couldnt recommend enough.
