Excellent experiences selling 2 handguns and 1 rifle. Their offers were fair and payments timely. Prepaid shipping labels made the shipping process simple. I wouldnt hesitate using them again.
This place is a joke. I was in there today (06/29/21) trying to sell my Springfield .308 win rifle that is going for $1300 used on Gunbroker and $1800+ new. Its in pristine condition and they offered me $800. I laughed and walked right out on out of that place. I will be selling my rifle on Gunbroker.com
I had five guns to sell, and had a pretty good idea of their worth from using another site (Shooters Bible, I think). Anyway, I was pleased with the range I was quoted, and the shipping was easy. Once Cash My Guns received the weapons, they gave me the top end of the range. Id taken good pictures, warts and all, so they had no surprises, and then I had no surprises when they valued them. MUCH better than trying to find an individual seller.
Johnny was amazing help I thank him so much for the assistance in selling my firearm
The process was easy understand and follow. Was given a fair price for my gun and within days I receive a check. I would use Cash for Guns again.
Ive been trading firearms for the last 25 yrs. I wanted to cull a couple pistols from my inventory, I do not to sell to the general public for obvious reasons. I stopped that a few years back. The negative reviews are from people that have no clue about selling or buying guns. If you want more $ for your guns, sell to the general public. Cash for Guns provides a very safe & no liability service to the seller. To many variables selling firearms to the public, to many to list. You might get a little more $ doing a public transaction. Before you sell, know how much your weapon is worth. Some common sense should tell you your not going to get what its worth brand new in the box. I knew what I should get for my pistols, it was the easiest transaction Ive had dealing with guns. I walked out with exactly what I asked for because I didnt ask for the NIB price. By far the nicest & cleanest gun shop Ive had the pleasure to do business with. I wish all dealers were like DFW Shooting Sports.
Dillon was honest and very professional when I sold my Taurus pt111. Highly recommend this place.
Great experience! I had several guns to sell from a family estate and they were very fair. Quickly assessed the value, offered a fair price for my collection, and were extremely professional. I will happily do business with them again if the need arises since they have a retail store.
I wen there to sell my shotgun, it worth buying 349 or more they offered me100 only, I left went to Cabelas and got over twice as much. I wasnt wanting to give it away. Guess they thought a female is stupid.
Went here to sell old guns that were my dad’s. Didn’t make a ton of money, but they weren’t worth much anyways. Very easy to work with and great selection if you’re buying. They said if they don’t have it in store, they can still get it.
Gun stores are not created equal and while this place looks to have a great inventory, the customer service seems to be lacking. I found the business online and saw the claim that they buy all guns and pay in cash, so I decided to check it out. I own about 15 guns of various models, some collectible, others less so. In hopes of downsizing the less so part, I took my Rem. 742 BDL deer rifle (very good-excellent) in to see if they would make me a fair offer. I am aware that the model has a bed reputation, but many serious gun enthusiasts would agree that it is overstated. The owners with a good one tend to hold on to it, while the bad ones change hands over and over. Having shot dozens of rifles and tens of thousands of rounds Im pretty satisfied with this particular example, given what it is. After laying the case down, the front man took a 2 second glance inside and said nope. Im fine with not being made an offer, that is their right (I would suggest modifying the advertising, though), but he then proceeded to tell me what the model of the gun was and his opinion of it without any inquiry on my part. I asked if there were any other places I might try and he just said Pawn shops, anything you can get. Thats not what I asked. It seems to me that being a younger guy (26) with glasses, the man behind the counter assumed that Im clueless about his trade, when it is quite the contrary. I went in half expecting a no, but I also thought Id check out a new place and look around some, maybe even buy a magazine or two if they had something I needed. As it was, I walked in and out within 2 minutes, and I wont be going back. If I wanted to hear knee jerk opinions about guns I will go read the forums. When I go to a place of business, I expect some professionalism.
I was offered a quarter of the retail price for new unfired riffles I wanted to sell. They tried to give me a total price and would not give me individual prices per items. After leaving I realized they didnt even know one of my riffles was an ACR and not an AR-15. Bushmaster makes the civilian version and they named a company Ive never heard of. For ammo they were quick to point out their prices thinking I wouldnt notice the difference between my competition ammo and their standard ammo. They are a business so they try to feel you out before they rape you. They lowball first then try to offer a little more giving excuses for why things arent selling right now. I was quick to cut them off as I could see we werent even close to half price. They didnt want me to leave and started offering a little more then a little more. For 20K worth of new stuff I was offered 5K. The staff was friendly so I gave them a star for that. Any good reviews on here are from people who got raped. Just saying. They are a business and have a nice store so somebody has to pay the electric bill.
