TLDR version of my review:Took my 2019 Ford Expedition Max Platinum to Van Eck Auto Body after I struck a deer in Cadillac, MI on 8/14/2020. Initially it was estimated it would probably be done on 9/4. I got a call on 8/28 that it was done! I did have them make some adjustments as I was super picky, getting it back on 9/1. I found a software glitch with the 360 camera and brought it back on 9/2 for that correction, which was fixed that day. No issues, no hassles, super easy to deal with, friendly, professional, and did phenomenal work! Im pretty particular about my vehicles, and especially so on a vehicle we spent so much money on and had intended to keep for the next decade while our kids are growing up. Anything less than exactly factory quality wasnt going to make me happy. They delivered.More detail for those that want to know more:The vehicle in question had 8,500 miles on it and hitting the deer at 50ish demolished the driver side of the vehicle. Sensors torn, fog light wrecked, head lamp wrecked, fender torn, driver door wouldnt open, cooling shutters falling out the front, radiator leaking, A/C condenser damaged, etc. The end result was 3 full pages of parts and labor! Van Eck got the estimate to our insurance quickly and the repairs got under way almost right away. I figured Id give them a week or so before calling to see if I could come check on progress and bring my kids so they could see the repairs in progress...only to find out that after just 1 week after starting the repairs they were wrapping up and I might have it back the next day! Gary, who is phenomenal, called the next day on Friday 8/28 to come get it. I did discover a fitment snafu with the top edge of the bumper cover that was hard to spot, and I wanted the gap tightened between the fender and the door. The door/fender gap I think was due to the magician working on my car deciding to follow the line of the A-Pillar, when I preferred to focus on the door gap. Just a difference of preference I think. No questions asked, they brought it back in and got to work. Tuesday 9/1 they called to come pick it up. Looked exactly as if nothing had ever happened. The paint is called magnetic and it is a metal flake. Matched perfectly. They blended the door expertly, fender looks perfect, and bumper cover fitment and paint is flawless. Fender & door gap are exactly what I was looking for. Upon pulling into my garage I noticed the front view of the 360 camera was black, but the camera was functioning because the full front view was fine. Brought it back on 9/2 and they worked their wizardry on the camera and now all is well. Had it back same day. It seems exactly as I received it from Ford. Nothing else was going to make me happy; either I would have needed Van Eck Auto Body to deliver that at some point or I was resolved to trade it in on a Lincoln Navigator L Reserve. They delivered, no need to consider trading in. Even though it took a little tweaking to get there, it was a LOT of parts and a lot of little detail work so I cant fault anything or anyone there. They never gave me any push back, just agreed to do whatever it took to make me happy with their work. Top notch. If you are even unfortunate enough to need their services take some solace in the fact Van Eck Auto Body are literally magicians that can make your vehicle right again.Before and after photos of their work included with this post.Big shout out to Gary who worked with me the entire way through this project . Everyone here was super friendly and welcoming! When I brought my Jeep in I was devastated that a deer smashed my customized grille into a million pieces. Jeremiah allowed me to pick the one I wanted and had the insurance refund me! He also took the time to fight with the insurance to make sure the parts that were put in were great quality. I hit a deer on the highway. Van Eck ordered a new front bumper (plus undersheilds the deer tore off), and painted it. They also worked with Muffler Man to rebuild my custom exhaust. Everything looks great! They were very professional and even cleaned my car inside and out, and my exhaust tips! The front bumper paint matches perfectly to the rest of the body just as it was off the factory floor. Gave me new fog light bulbs for free. They were fast and delivered before they said it would be done. Shout out to Jeremiah at Van Eck for his professional service.

Terrible experience, progressive sent me here because one of their clients rear-ended me. the agent representing progressive kept trying to claim the accident against my insurance to pay for repairs. only after I filed a complaint with the state of Michigan they agreed to comply. the laggard attempt at fixing it the first time was below the bar at best. the bumper never lined up with the body, there was a spider crack in the clear coat, and certain parts of the body kit were broken. the second go was a participation metal at best as well. Yes, they did fix the clear coat and the body kit issue, but the bumper is still crooked. it is spaced out about a quarter inch at the wheel well but it closes when it meets the tail light. (pictured) In the lobby they have a large TV showing that they fixed a chevy exuinox that had catastrophic front end damage. yet they cannot fix a back bumper that got run into in a parking lot by a distracted high schooler in his moms crossover.(update) Leaving the parking lot after the first repair I noticed that the source had changed on my radio along with the audio settings, more specifically my subwoofers were turned all the way up. I can only assume that the techs decided that they were gonna have a little fun with my stereo on their lunch break. very professional.

Normally when writing a review I try to give positives and negatives to remove any bias but I can honestly say that everything went off without a hitch. Staff was all friendly, car was completed on time and even had my car cleaned before I came to pick it up. I could not recommend Van Eck enough.Side note: Front parking lot is small. When business picks up, it becomes difficult to navigate and park. Very minor but I thought it should be mentioned.

I had damage to my car from an object flown into my car on the highway. Not only does Van Eck work with my insurance they can also serve as an adjuster, which saved a lot of time and calls. They totally handleD the insurance end of it for me. When I picked my car up, everything looked really good....then I got into my car. They took out my weather tech mats and washed them. Front and back. Donyou know how ugly those were this time of year!! That was such an added bonus to see! All my damage was exterior, I never expected them to to go totally abIve and beyond and clean up my interior. Awesome work and very friendly and helpful service. Do fantastic work

Had my truck repaired here multiple times and the result has been flawless every single time!

I have delt with vaneck in two instances, once on purpose and once because of an accident. Both times they were amazing, super curious and went aboce and beyond to make me happy. They painted and fixed up my front end like nothing ever happened and then later I brought parts of my truck there to get color matched and again just absolutely amazing. Only thing I was not blown away with was there detailing. Seemed like spray wax and swirls all over.

From my first call to VanEck I was very impressed with the knowledge, service and overall experience. I will happily recommend every one I know that needs auto body repair to VanEck auto body from now on. I am a very satisfied customer!!!!
