I go here almost exclusively for chicken for the husband. They are great birds and a good price for a local chicken.The staff are great as well.Get a dozen eggs while youre here. Ask about the double jumbos!

Awesome local grocery Ive been visiting for the past 2 years now. Great prices for farm fresh local products. Its like going to the farmers market but inside and open way more often! The workers are always very friendly and make a connection to remember you and help you find whatever you need. Love Rakowskis!

I always buy my eggs from this farm, they are a little more expensive than the ones in large grocery stores but worth the price! they also have a stand at the Fulton street farmers market on Saturday and they have a great selection of produce for a great price. Also I love to pop in if I am out taking a walk and grab a $1 cup of delicious Hot Apple Cider!

I love this market! The staff and selection cant be beat! Being able to shop small and support local means so much to me and this market has become my go to for pretty much everything. You wont be disappointed!

Lots of local goodies! Reasonable prices and very friendly service. I bought onions, parsnips, carrots, kale, eggs, chorizo, dry black beans, and cornmeal. They have lots of types of meat, beans, bread, dairy products, and produce. My toddler wandered around the small store and we chatted with the gal working. Very nice experience and well be back!

Great place for a variety of local good-for-you meats! The couple who run this have had a long-standing presence at the Fulton St farmers market. They have become so popular that they now get to offer their meats at their new storefront.

I love the Rakowskis! The main thing I purchase here is all their different preparations of turkey! They now offer more products then they had at their previous location.Check them out!

Perfect for the person who wants to support farm to table, local business, and Michigan made products/farmers. The selection and prices are comparable to the farmers market (if not better). Their meat selection is extremely well priced with all the standard items like turkey, beef, pork, and chicken, but they also have breakfast meats, processed sausages (of all varieties), ribs, lamb, turkey, rabbit, and duck. Its perfect for those who want to shop at the Fulton st. Farmers Market, but cant get down there (or its an off day). I love that they have products from Traverse city (jams, etc.) and have a great selection of gluten free items as well (gluten free flour, GF snacks, GF granola, etc.) all made in Michigan. This is going to be my go to grocery store / place to get food in Grand Rapids from now on.

There is a welcoming staff, not a whole lot for vegetarians but they have the absolute best nut butter I’ve ever tasted! I am happy to patronize this store with ALL of there local goods.
