Hands down or up (your preference),THE BEST beef and pork in town. Oops, I almost forget the chicken and (order ahead) turkey for the Holidays. It really does have much better flavor than ur basic Butterball!! Give then a try and you too will drive across town to shop there. 😁

This place is incredible and so reasonably priced compared to every butcher I’ve ever been to. As soon as the owner picked up on the fact I was on a budget she pointed me to all the best values and even wrote recipe recommendations on the butcher paper when I asked for suggestions. Unbelievably good service. I will be coming back every week.

Great selection, great prices, kind staff! Margie was very helpful over the phone in suggesting different meats I could pick up while doing Whole30. The sugar free bacon has awesome flavor and is thick-cut. Sweet Italian brats are also great and less fatty than something like Johnsonville.

The best butcher shop in Grand Rapids. A great selection of top quality beef, pork, chicken and more. Great customer service is an added bonus. They make their own Chicken Cordon Bleu. And my grandson LOVES their bacon.

They were pretty good until they started price gauging during COVID-19. For example, the week before the stay-at-home order, $2.99 / lb for ground beef, after the stay at home order, $6.99 / lb for ground beef (and you have to buy it in 1 lb packages now). They say it is due to beef shortage, but they use the same locally sourced meat from the same people as when it was $2.99 / lb.

Our go-to meat market! They have the best selection of meats and quick oven meals.. not to mention everyone who works here is always very friendly and so helpful! *bonus if you plan to freeze your ground beef they actually have some frozen you can purchase in back for cheaper than the stuff out on display- Just ask them about it :-)

One of the first butchers we found in Grand Rapids and we love them. They are about quality and Ive never been disappointed. Recently made a pork loin, which was amazing. So moist, tender and full of flavor. Their sausage is amazing as are their smoked meats. Check them out, you will be glad.

If youre getting meat in Grand Rapids, GO TO GRAND BUTCHERS!Theyve got fantastic cuts at a decent price, and their customer service has always been great. They also have tons of different types of sausages and brats.I go for their smoked jerky (peppered is my favorite) and any meat I might be looking for. While youre there, they have a small assortment of groceries and a great section of candy to pick up!

Grand Butchers is amazing. The service is great and they have local, grass-fed meats at reasonable prices as well as sliced deli meats and cheeses. They have a smoker, so house-made bacon and beef jerky are available. They also stock a limited selection of beer and wine. They will cut anything to order. Dont see something you want in the case? Just ask.

Service here varies. They carry high quality meat, but the prices are aimed at a middle to upper class customer. Some of the clerks have an impressive butcher knowledge. Others barely have a basic knowledge. Hit and miss.

Good place for meat, however their sausage links always come out dry when cooked. It is almost like there isnt enough fat in them. Other than that they are great.

Yeah dude, this place is the best one in the city. If you dont know what to cook might I suggest the porterhouse steak. Salt both sides with a half a tablespoon of salt and let it sit for 20 minutes in room air. Crank up a pan and sear both sides with oil oil, then put it in the oven at 400 F. Use a thermometer and take it out when the center is 140 F (4-7 minutes). Five star steak no sauce needed. The fat soaks up the flavor and melts in your mouth. Youll thank me later as you eat the best steak of your life, and yes youre welcome.

I have found that the meats here are invariably excellent. I just bought a bunch for my freezer. Ill be enjoying fine meals for the next several weeks

Stumbled on this meat market 1.5-2 years ago decided to test its hamburger to see whether it was a quality shop or not. Have not gone to another meat market since. The hamburger was the best I have found in Grand Rapids. Their product and service place them at the top of this corner of the grocery market.

These owners are very knowledgable about all things meat, chicken and mixed items. Wonderful as always! Bought our usual beef, pork and chicken plus some chicken breakfast links and spinach asiago chicken brats to try.

Its difficult to find sausage without sugar or nitrates in it. NONE of their meat has nitrates added, and you can pre-order bacon and sausage without sugar from them. The owners and employees are so friendly, and their prices are totally reasonable! Win-win-win. :)

I typically go here for their fantastic cuts of steak. This past time I also tried out their chicken pot pies last time.....holy wow. Best pot pies Ive ever had. Now I need to get both every time I go!

This place has amazing home made jerky! you have to try it.Lots of meat cuts, deli fare, and a small amount of grocer stuff. I always feel taken care of when I go. Prices are reasonable.

This is a great local business. They have a great meat case. Several kinds of sausages in bulk and casings. I eat ketogenically which means no added sugar. They took me through the meat case and pointed out the no dugar added options. They even offered to make special orders without sugars on other items including bacon.
