Family Fare is known for having a clean environment, good quality food, and friendly staff. This location does not disappoint! It always seems like everything feels fresh this store and even customers seem nicer. You are not going to pay rock bottom prices but you usually get what you pay for. They have a nice deli, a wonderful Starbucks, and even a sushi bar!

Clean store.Meat section is good but on the pricey side.Bakery section is also very good.Had a fair amount of turkeys if anyone is looking for one. Didnt check the price of them tho.I will definitely return to this store.

This location is so neat and clean. The displays are pleasing to the eye. The meat department was especially well presented. This is a smaller store than most of the Family Fare locations and they make the most of it. I have never been so impressed with a place that is generally just a mundane stop. The management and employees at this store take pride in their product. I thoroughly enjoyed shopping here.

Have been very happy using their fax service,Lottery purchases with their customer service. Very Impressive produce Dept and Deli.Dept. Enjoyed their BBQ fully cooked Ribs.Nice Store.

Store is clean, fairly easy to find items with overhead signs, and card directions in carts. Check out crew were great.

Family Fare in Lake Michigan drive is always a great alternative to other stores. I love their deli, fruits and vegetables and the original Made in Michigan items. It is never long to get through the line, even if you do not use self check out.

CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES ON ALL ITEMS YOU PLAN ON PURCHASING AT THIS LOCATION! I placed an order using their Fastlane on 1/17/21 & they sold me products that expired in NOVEMBER!Tried calling to speak to a manager multiple times and by the third time I was able to finally get got through, after going back and forth they refunded my order & offered a free subscription for Fastlane.Definitely will not be using this location for a while!

We love this family fare. The Starbucks staff are super nice and it always fully stocked and clean.

After visiting for the first time. I became aware that wherever food is being sold, the associates need to have a food safety course to understand the importance of cross contamination

I bought lunch assorted pieces of fried chicken all of it extremely dry, pasta salad very strong vinegar taste couldn’t even eat it! Will not buy from the deli again!

A bit smaller than supermarkets im use to (felt a bit cramp) but it still had everything I needed! Everything was well organized a day easy to find. The lines can look really long as theres not much space between the cash registers and the aisle (which makes the line look long) but in actually it isnt and it goes by pretty quick.

Family fare is a great supermarket. Ive always found what I need except for one occasion. The service is usually very good and the yes card program is really nice. It is the rewards card that they use but unlike a lot of grocery stores, it is super easy to sign up for and use. The savings that come with it are usually pretty significant. Family fare is always clean and easy to navigate. Id highly recommend coming here for all of your needs.

Beautiful, clean, not crowded but a little pricey. Its a trade off lots of helpful happy employees, short cashier lines or the opposite.

Family Fare is the least stressful place to shop for groceries in Walker. The friendly staff and clean store go a long way in making it a comfortable shopping experience. And with the Yes Card and their Our Family brand, you get savings that are comparable to Meijer. I dont do all my shopping here, but sometimes I really wish I did. Thank you Family Fare of Standale!

Lived in the area for two years and have yet to encounter a friendly associate here. No one greets, all they do is stare or ignore you. Not to mention, their self-checkout stations are always acting up, requiring an associate to come help; when they do, they barely speak. I always get awkward vibes coming here. I wont be back and thank goodness Im moving soon.

Stopped here in between visiting Mother in law and sister in law. Clean aisles, nice deli section and a coffee stand. They did not have some of the items I wanted. The spot on the shelf was empty and I did not feel like hunting down a worker.When I checked out, my receipt was unintelligible, and you need the receipt to get money off the gas. So I had to go to the customer service to get a copy. And in the 7 .inches it took, I noticed so.ebody had gone to the checkout lane to fix the problem. FF seems like a good store. I will give them another try.

Good store. Starbucks inside. Not the lowest prices in town but a lot less busy than other nearby places. Parking lot isnt the best, but its not really a long walk from anywhere you park either.

We had a good find in produce especially fresh fruit and their power greens were all fresh leaves, didnt have to sort out slimmy damaged leaves. Raspberries were ripe in appearance but more of a tarty taste. That also had covering over some of the fruit and fresh vegetables. Best part you can get Zesta soda crackers, best soda crackers and really adds a great taste used as breading on fried chicken strips or fish.

As usual I had a nice shopping experience. Family Fare carries the brands i prefer and prices are reasonable. The best things about the store are the employees. They are kind and always willing to help.

Stopped in there as they sell unique quality items. They focus on senior and single sized portions plus regular sized. My bank is across the street (LMCU) so its one stop shopping and that includes my pharmacy.

I had difficulty closing my back door and an employee spent at least 5 minutes helping me get it closed. I couldnt have done it without his assistance. Great service

This Family Fare has a great selection of pre-sliced fruits and vegetables from Fresh Divide. Gourmet popcorn is popped fresh daily (I recommend the white cheddar). There is a Starbucks that is usually busy but has friendly and helpful staff. The sushi bar is excellent. They make a variety of rolls and the chef will make rolls to order. The chopsticks and soy sauce offered at the bar are also of much higher quality than usually found. As another reviewer mentioned, there is poor cell reception in this store.

I spy... this store seems to always get flipped around, but the organization and cleanliness is superb. Customer service is always A+. Great for quick stop shopping trips. Free popcorn to keep the little ones entertained or even for yourself if youre feeling a snack attack. Prices and comparably low and deals are great! Handicap parking and entry available.

As always the store is clean and staff is very helpful. Stock was low and I couldnt get some of what I wanted, but, Ill definitely go back.

I cant be sure why but I can always count on an abrasive interaction with the night managers. Ive stopped buying things that require manager approval at checkout and just go for produce but somehow still get a cranky manager to tell me Im doing things wrong. Not the way I used to do things when I worked for FF. Probably going to avoid this place.

I think this place is a great place to shop. A little pricier than nearby supermarkets, but if you get that YES card certain products are actually WAY cheaper than they would be at other places. I love the family fare in Allendale. Awesome store.

I love the meat section of FF they have great meats and salads they make. The only thing I dont like about FF are the prices. I can go to Meijer and buy alot more for my money then FF. I only do certain shopping at FF. If they were more competitive with there prices they would get more business. They are in between two different Meijer and I save a ton doing the majority of my shopping at Meijer. When I make it to the meat store I totally bypass FF. if there prices were better they would probably get all my business.

This is a very nice and organized Family Fare. Large selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, extensive meat, deli and seafood counters. There fresh bakery selections go well with the in store Starbucks.If you are looking for a quick lunch, theres an in-store Subway, sushi and hot fried foods. They also offer a nice selection of home style heat and eat options like twice baked potatoes, fried chicken and the ever popular rotisserie chickens ready.The staff is friendly and helpful. You dont have to wander far in order to find someone to assist with a question. Despite that, I still appreciate and prefer the self checkout and am grateful they still have so many available.

Im giving the store this rating due to the sudden rise in prices!! 2.50 for 1 red pepper. 1.39 for a small can of Natures Receipe dog food. Ive been shopping at this store for over 30 years. Great Day to present. It saddens me to see the higher prices. Folks on fixed incomes, now have less to spend. Family Fare needs to do better. For the community they serve.

I recently took my business away from Meijer in Standale and am now shopping at Family Fare. I love the selection, the quality, the clear layout of the store, the cleanliness and the kind and happy attitude of all the staff I encounter. It is actually an enjoyable shopping experience at Family Fare. So happy I made the switch. Family Fare is everything Meijer isnt.

Was clean, alot of selections, wish they had Cheese Curds. Thats what we came in looking for.

First time here and am amazed at the many great deals here. There are plenty of options food wise and good deals on the store brands, which I prefer! You get added discounts when you use your registered phone number - I was with my friend from the area who had it and I just used hers. Overall nice selection of products at affordable prices.

The bakery here is phenomenal! I say this mainly because I a have a questionable relationship with donuts, I love’em! The glazed twists found only at this store’s bakery are phenomenal! Take my word for it though. There is usually only enough for a chosen few and that’s not including you. Feel free to enjoy the other creative and I’m sure equally delicious treats baked fresh daily.

Usually has what you need when you dont feel like going to larger and busier stores. Always a gamble whether checkout lanes will be quick or slow. Whole store could use a remodel I the next few years. Great place to stop post-planet fitness, muscle milk is on sale 95% of the time. Has in store subway and Starbucks along with a gas station on site.
