I have been going here for my vitamins and supplements for years. My only issue is, this is where I first purchased my triple boost caffeine free energy product by Irwin Poproducts. They quit stocking them and I struggle to find them now. I asked if they could start providing them and was told they would see what they could do. Over a year and still nothing.

The employees are well versed in the products being sold and very nice when answering questions from customers. I will be making this store my go to groceries.

My go-to place for health food! They always have items I cant find at other stores, such as dairy-free cheeses, organic whole food vitamins, and raw food items. You can find pretty much anything you might need here even though its a smaller store. Lots of great organic produce, bulk food items, a large variety of spices, teas, coffees, refrigerated items, etc. The staff is always very friendly and helpful which is great! I can also generally get an additional discount on whole food vitamins at checkout. Can be a bit expensive when I buy all my weekly groceries there but it is worth it for the quality of food I get!

Such a great little store! Unlike some people, I think its a perfectly situated locale. Its important that fresh and healthy foods are accessible to all, and this area seems disadvantaged in that way - and while the prices might dissuade some people, hopefully WIC is accepted here. I think its great that Harvest has retained its footprint in the area and hasnt moved on. Calling the area dingy isnt a nice thing to say for the people who live there, previous reviewer. Wealthier neighborhoods arent the only neighborhoods that deserve this kind of a store!I found everything to be priced as much as you would typically pay for the brands sold and local produce. Sure, you can get some stuff a little cheaper at the farmers market but - thats only certain days and months of the year. Its nice to know that national and local brands can be found at Harvest Health, and that they have 3 locations!!

For a store that promotes health and wellness, one would think that they would be kinder to those that for health reasons/medical reasons they cannot wear a mask. There is no federal law that requires anyone to wear a mask. It is a suggestion, not law.

Able to find almost any item you could want. If they don’t have something they will offer substitutes or try to get the item. Everyone is so nice. The Eastern location offers bulk spices. We always buy whole pepper there. We know it’s fresh and good. Highly recommend checking them out. All the locations are great.

Great place to buy organic foods, but will not return until all employees wear their mask properly. It defeat the purpose of trying to stay healthy and avoid getting sick.

Good service. It took a while but we called over the cell phone. I like the organic gummi bears. I like having the store near me.

Only thing I simply wish for is a separate store with less food and more objects of stuff that is organic such as soap/dish soap, shampoo &conditioner, toothpaste, lotion, lip gloss, lip scrub, chapstick, body wash, body scrib, etc. A store more for things needed daily. And with the items Ive seen theyve had here among the food this store would be a perfect one to start a sister store of these objects.

Harvest Health Foods is a quaint health food store. They have a huge variety of items and just about anything you can think of. From essential oils to protein shakes to wine, they have something for everyone. The store does have an extremely overwhelming scent of spices and oils though that gives me a head ache when I go in there. Maybe some better ventilation would help. I, personally, am sensitive to strong smells, but it definitely impacted my likelihood to return to Harvest Health Foods.

The Eastern Ave location is small, dingy, and in a questionable section of town. They carry very few of the items I usually buy.I normally go to the Cascade location, but its clear they are struggling. Some of the cashiers are unfriendly and dont even say hello when you walk up to pay. I always leave with items left on my list because they are out of stock. I expect much better service and selection considering the high prices they charge. I will be doing more of my shopping at Fresh Thyme from now on.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good food selections, though pricey.I don’t always find what I need.In the last two times I was there to get bulk herbs, I felt very uncomfortable with the look the employee gave to me and questioned why I need so much herbs. It was sarcastic. I am knowledgeable in this area and know what i need. I am also disappointed the bulk containers are gone!I would appreciate if you’d consider biodegradable/reusable/BPA Free ziploc bags at least. Thank you.

I would go here often, as they have a great selection. But they close at 7pm on weekdays which is crazy when you work until a bit later in the eveningWith that said they have a great selection. I go personally for a lot of vegan foods, supplements and soaps

I’ve been shopping on and off with Harvest Health for 13 years and have never been disappointed. This location is kinda small, so I do prefer the Hudsonville store, however this store is more convenient for me so I go to it more often.Staff is very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. Their sales are great!

I shop here regularly and get SUPERIOR assistance from everyone who works here. This is the best place to shop for food in Grand Rapids if you want organic food. I dont know of any other store in GR with as good of employees as you find at Harvest Health, and one never has to wait in line for a cashier.

Service was very good. Only thing I didnt like is it felt tight in the store. We had a stroller and we had a hard time moving in there. Otherwise no real complaints.

Great health foods hot spot with plenty of options like dried beans, tofu, tempeh, coconut cheeses etc. Staff Id also extremely friendly. Sometimes the fact that theyre closed Sunday stops me from visiting more often because thats my shopping day. Also parking is a bit awkward because its directly off the street so when leaving youre backing into incoming traffic. Overall fun place to visit with lots of staples for a health food store.

Havent been there in awhile, but they have good products

I have a raw diet and been doing it for months, I buy all of my produce here because I feel it is guaranteed trustworthy organic, unlike the super corporations that that claim to be organic. The produce here is insanely cheap.

Our family has been going to Harvest Health for at least 40 years and thru three generations. Ive always found alternatives for allergy prone children, suppliments for all of us and now many items to work with our Paleo diet. And now you have beautiful organic produce, often at better prices than the traditional grocery stores. Thanks for the continued good service and great hours. Keep up the good work, and have many more years in Grand Rapids.

I have so many food allergies/intolerances (gluten, dairy, eggs, seafood, etc.), and this place has been a life saver! I now go about 2-3 times a month and stock up on all the foods I cant find at Meijer. My favorite is the gluten free/vegan bread! Mmmm. The only downside is I dont care for the location.

Im an ole weightlifter/bodybuilder, and have been shopping there for years.I use herbs and herbal supplements, and I only go to harvest health....I love that store :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Many of the items are very pricy. They dont offer a good selection of bulk items.

Visited Harvest Health Foods for the first time a couple of days ago and was very impressed with the products and friendliness of staff especially Terry who was vey knowledgeable about exactly what supplements I needed as they pertained to current issues. I look forward to coming back soon.
