Great variety of food, meats, produce, and staples. Store is clean and well stocked. Employees are friendly and personable. Parking lot is clean and store is in a safe area of town. Found everything we needed.

This is one of my favorite stores. I have 2 kids and teen sisters, so I save money and find all the named brand snacks at half the prince. They have the best meat prices and qhen covid first hit and we had that meat shortage this was the store that was best to find ground beef. The only downside is the fruits arent that great

I love shopping here. Used to like it more but then they rearranged all the shelving and IT MAKES NO SENSE! Its all a jumble! I just dont get it, it makes me go there less. I like getting deals on things we buy often, helps a ton to save.

Nice clean store, could use some updating but not a bad place to stop if you need something quick. Reminder to bring your own bags or you have to pay for bags yourself. Prices are pretty good as well for this being a smaller grocery store and good selection.

This location lives up to the franchises name, excellent prices on most food items here. Its a great place to stock up on canned food especially. The Frozen options are somewhat more limited, and I wouldnt go here for day-to-day grocery shopping, because I prefer refresher ingredients for that. But if you need to restock your pantry with non-perishable food, this is going to be your best option by far. Theyre regular prices usually beat coupon prices and other grocery stores.

Fresh fruits and veggie section is small and poorly stocked but all Save-A-Lots are like that. The meat section is ok. Staff is quick to open another check out lane if it gets busy. They are friendly and helpful. I DONT buy milk here as its usually bad.

Its better to leave your grand child at home when trying to grocery shop, she asks for everything. Just Glad Im able to get what I needed without it being out of stock

Always affordable and friendly faces

Ive come here multiple times for quick this since its close. The staff is ok and most of the products are good. My company is one these multiple visits over sooner across expired products constantly. Today was the worse where I found several gallons of skim milk dated 9/22 and marked reduced. Its 9/28 why would anyone in their right mind buy 6 day old milk and why would any respectable establishment sell their customers dated food. Get your act together Save a lot.

For a name like Sav-A-Lot, you really dont. Things that are around a dollar, like lettuce, are double priced. For the same items I bought, I could have gone to Family Fare and saved more, and Family Fare isnt low priced either.

Its ok, its doesnt have a lot of name brand food.

What do you expect, its a Save-A-Lot. That means there is low overhead, less-than-clean presentation and non-recognizable brands. But, this means really low prices. I give this 4/5 stars simply because it is a little hard to find because it is set back on the lot from where the actual sign is located. My personal recommendation: avoid buying produce from Save-A-Lot. I have tried to make it work several times, but it truly is sub par. Just go down the road to the Family Fare if you need produce.

Okay, before I begin, Its only fair of me to acknowledge that I am a VERY frugal shopper when it comes to food shopping. Plus, I also should acknowledge that Ive been a pretty long time shopper with Sav-a-lot since back long before I moved from my birth state of Pennsylvania in 2016. But, disclaimer stuff aside... I can say that Ive been in a number of Sav-a-lot locations in a few different places. And, while the store layout varies from location to location, the good prices are always the main attraction of shopping with them (At least, for us frugal shoppers it is). But, it does come at a trade off, as there is no full bakery or meat department with actual baker or butcher on duty. Thats not to say that they dont sell bakery items and meats... they most certainly do! But, if yoy desire a store with butchers and bakers on duty in-store... then, stores like Sav-a-lot, and the quite similar in nature Aldi Stores dont offer that service. Plus, shopping bags are something they charge a very small amount of money for. But, there is always the option of bringing your own shopping bags. At any rate... I cant speak for any other consumers, but I for one can find no real problem with Sav-a-lot stores.

There were 2 lanes open. I went into a lane, the cashier was already taking a customers money. Looked at my almost full cart, and said she has no waiting on the next lane. I looked she wasnt there. When she came over to the lane to cash me out, never greeted me or said anything to me, but carried on a conversation with the other employees....not once did any of them say anything to me! Except to tell me how much my order was.

It is ok for certain things, can good etc. But I wouldnt myself purchase meat I dont eat meat so dont take my word for the meat.

You will always find meat prices 1/2 off before 9 am!!
