The workers (you dont much have to interact with people and is covid adappted bassically lol) but it is kinda on the border of ghetto and uppity I mean its alr but I get almost all what my family eats from here so I give it 4 stars. (The photos are things I have got/ seen at the store. Honestly just random pics cuz its a local market lol)
Great Clean store, a huge selection of Meats!!! Along with many other grocery items ...definitely worth checking out!!! FREE ONE HOUR parking in the ramp entrance off of Seward St...
There is a great variety of things available here. Its a bit pricier, but its a good place to pick up treats or your essential groceries. The store is nicely maintained and fun to browse through.
This is one of the best ideas that has manifested itself in Grand Rapids. It has most of the things you can buy at a large big box grocery store with the addition of unique foods, fantastic produce and a great selection of alcoholic beverages. The free parking ramp is very convenient during bad weather. If you hate grocery shopping as much as I do, this store is refreshing like the local grocery stores from the 60 & 70s, but with a clean, upscale feel.
While a great place to get a variety of healthier and better grocery options, Bridge St has the ability and prime location to be a sustainable and affordable food source in an area of high food insecurity. But alas, it has some of the highest prices in the area. They do accept EBT however, which is always a plus.
I love this place yummy delicious fresh food that whines liquor fresh food good customer service The only thing I dont like is the parking
Love this market. Always fresh food in the deli area. And parking is really easy to get in and out.
Great produce. Appreciate the selection of local products. Plus, so walkable! Staff is always friendly and happy to help as well.
Everything you need for food is basically there . People say its expensive but really aint. It s the same price as the regular Meijer that people go to. Its relaxed full in there. Nice and quiet.
Just like a Meijer, but smaller. They still have what you need though.
A very friendly place to shop. Prices started rising the end of its first year 🤣 n business. They have quality meats, kind of high, but worth the price. They dont carry everything a Meijers dies, but will look into getting an item you wish to buy. Checking out is easy and theres plenty of employees willing to help with any problems. I rate the store about a 4.8
I cant rave enough. I typically hate grocery shopping, especially in the big box stores. This market is my foodie heaven though! Selection is perfect, especially with so many of my local favorites that I dont have to drive all over town to get now. Im over the moon thrilled to have this right in my neighborhood. Its the perfect size and has so many fresh items as well as specialty items for the health conscious. Im in love with the wide variety and being able to get everything I need and want in one store. It has far exceeded my wildest expectations. Bringing in Curtis Stone on opening day was an awesome touch too!
Wow something for Everyone. Gluten Free Oreos even
Called today because I had a flat of FRESH Michigan strawberries and no Sure-Jell to turn them into jam. They checked and told me they were out of stock 😢. A truck is coming in tonight and call back at 7:00 am to see if they got any stock. I was screwed! My phone rang 5 minutes later and it was BSM telling me they found a bunch that were shelved in a weird place. Was so surprised and happy by this WONDERFUL customer service. I believe the gentleman’s name was Tom. THANKS🥳🥰
Its nice, clean and the workers are friendly. The prices are ridiculous. And no sales or coupons. We can finally use mperks, but it doesnt always give me my discount.
This is a nice store.friendly employees. Shopping for fresh produce is a rewarding endeavor. Some of the products are a bit more expensive than you can get at another store.
The workers here stare at the customers so hard at self checkout its weird and uncomfortable. I hate that about this store. I do not have STARE AT ME on my forehead.
So lovely to have a grocery store central to downtown. The Alcohol Wall at the front of the store is extensive, as is the wine selection! Fairly well priced with nice fresh produce and a good mix of kitchen staples and some exotic or new age foods. Vegan friendly! Even has a coffee shop/bakery in house and sells live plants as well.
The bridge street market was great enjoyed variety choice of items
Employees are always polite and helpful. This place is always clean.
Love that store. Its got a very modern feel to it which I like. They have a good selection of stuff at an affordable price. Staff is always nice and helpful. Doesnt have the large overwhelming feel of most Meijers. Even when its busy it is still easy to get in and out. Its my favorite store in town.
Love the location not packed like walmart get in get out quick I love 2 sides express checkout and they have better selections and organized not to big not to small I love it
Staff very friendly and helpful. They also carry Gabes Old Fashioned Custard which is absolutely delicious and I cannot recommend thier burnt honey custard enough.
1st time there, the staff was very friendly and helpful!
This is a Meijers unlike any others Ive seen. Its smaller and doesnt have as big of selection as your usual Meijer, but it has a very adequate selection. And has I would say a few more selections when it comes to some top shelf items. Theres a Mayan Buzz Cafe where you can get your usual assortment of coffee, and smoothie drinks, along with a bagel or croissant sandwich selection. They have a pretty hefty beer, wine and alcohol selection, and there is a parking in the rear. Unlike other Meijers though, you will not find a customer service counter for your bill payment and what not, also if youre looking for smokes expect to go elsewhere. They havent absolutely huge parking garage behind structure and it is also conveniently bus stops for two local buses.
Dressed up Meijers, BUT it has a lot of items you wont find in the box stores. Its fun to shop there and the atmosphere is nice
I bought everything I needed to make soup in one spot it was wonderful
Nice smaller supermarket. I mostly go here for food shopping. Good wine selection too
Make the trip to the big store this place is Not what it used to be, theyre not open convenient hours anymore and theyve completely changed their selection. Not only that prices have skyrocketed. Disregard the remainder of this review until further notice. I love having a local market that isnt outrageously expensive. The fresh bakery products are delicious. The produce is varied and just at the peak of ripeness. The butcher shop has a great selection of proteins that are hard to find elsewhere. The general merchandise is fair and reasonable. Overall I think Bridge Street Market is a great place full of awesome product and helpful employees. I would recommend it for most of what you need.
This place was clean and we loved the inside decor. It has a coffee shop inside as well.
Local grocery store offering the same products you could find just minutes away at a huge mark up. I cant afford to shop here. People who come here purely for the atmosphere are idiots and are throwing their money away. The only reason why their prices were so low in the beginning was because they were trying to drive out Duthler and now that theyre out of business, prices are up. If your support shopping here or Meijer than you DO NOT support this neighborhood at all. Greed!!!
Amazing staff, management is active with customers.... Lots of unique and local products and many everyday staples.
Very nice. Not whole foods, not Kroger. Something in the middle.
Halloween is being celebrated there right now bring you children the have lots of candy and painting activities for them.
Very very nice store and high quality choices. Its Meijers but doesnt use weekly sale ads and is mostly grocery/market and liquor so a lot smaller. Worth trying for sure
Its a wonderful shop. Great products and nice people
Vegetables were old and soft. Meat is pre packaged God knows how long ago all turning brown. Not happy when I thought it would be a special market with fresher veggies. Better meats and fresher veggies at Ralphs on Leonard!!!
I love this place for their mushroom variety!
Easy in and easy out. Love this place.
Excellent place to grab a bite.
Loved it. Something for everyone, very reasonable prices, many things you wont find anywhere else excellent produce..
Great little one stop shop for groceries. They also have a large licquor & wine section and everyone Ive encountered has been knowledgeable about the selections. The Mayan Buzz Cafe is located inside the market and they have some unique latte flavors as well as fresh sandwiches and bakery treats. Outside the market is a dog stop where you can safely leave your dog while you shop.
My new favorite market! A blend of everyday grocery with local hard to find stuff. I absolutely love the bakery section, as well as the plant section. Many local businesses you can find there!
Always have what I need. Glad to have a grocery store in the dt area
I have found that when looking for something to fix your craving for sweets at Bridge St, the better it sounds and looks and its more expensive, usually means its pretty bland and not worth it. 🤔😕☹️
I love Bridge Street Market, so many different items than a regular Meijer store.
Im glad this place came to my neighborhood. Its really convenient to have a grocery store nearby. I know Meijer owns Bridge Street Market, but it feels nicer than a Meijer.
Wonderful staff. Great selection. Love the atmosphere. Best sushi stand in town. Thats my opinion of course😊
This place is inconvenient. Their deli is not a real deli, they dont cut meats/cheeses. Every time I go here to get something, I cant find it and end up going elsewhere. It is a glorified liquor store.
Its nice because its smaller scale so its doesnt feel like a cross country trek to get your groceries. Things seemed relatively low priced while also having some higher quality options in there as well. Sleek design too. My favorite deli/sandwich shop just moved in there too which is a great bonus.
The store is great! Lots of unique food options! But the carts. The horrible carts. The pretty much all are broken, wobble or make noise.
A must for foodies and wine buffs when in Down town Grand Rapids, if you like good food and wine and want plenty of options this is well worth a visit, sure its a fancy Meijers, but Wow, I wish all Meijers were this good. Great selections of Mushrooms, Vegan and Vegetarian options, Awesome selection of wines and great options for coffee lovers. They even have a café in side but we did not try this however the menu and food looked good so we will next time for sure.
Nice selection, clean place, good customer service.
Very good store, they have best looking fruits and vegetables of any store. Only con is prices are higher why gave a 4 star
Easy to get in and out. Large selection of unique items. Better quality produce than I have seen at the big Meijer stores. My new go to market!
I love this place. What a variety of products and produce. I was looking for a gift and saw the five 14 display of candles.Wonderful scents, soy candles, made in grand rapids and reasonably priced.😊
Some different products that you may not find in a larger store like Meijer but still carries Meijer products. You can get “ethnic” food drinks and brands that are hard to source in west Michigan. Along with local produce and products. Before Covid hit they also had a butcher counter on the weekends which I really liked. Hoping they bring that back.Staff I’ve spoken to are excellent, knowledgeable and really chill.Best of all the products aren’t priced like Whole Foods for example but have that same quality.
I did not expect such a high end look & feel when entering the Bridge Street Market. It is so much cleaner & much more organized than any other small grocery store I have been to on the West Side of Grand Rapids. My husband and I brought our kids here to pick out pumpkins because our pumpkin patch day we had planned got rained out. Our boys loved pushing around their pumpkins in the miniature child size shopping carts they have while mom and dad did a little more shopping 🎃
Best Westside Shopping. Period.
I like this place but there are a few irritating things about it! It’s clean, lots of great choices for organic, vegan and local. When they first opened their prices were very inviting now they are somewhat frightening. I can get a lot of the same products for less elsewhere which is a bummer. Also, their sushi use to be so delish. Now, it fricken falls apart totally and impossible to eat with chopsticks! I’m done giving it chances. It’s better elsewhere for the same price! The rice is kinda mushy, rubbery for lack of better description. The price would be reasonable, if it tasted as good as some of the local sushi places but honestly it doesn’t compare anymore. Really disappointing because I used to shop exclusively here and really can’t now.
Restock those shelves every once in awhile, lol.
I will be back...so nice clean... it was the little baby carts 4 me cant wait for this summer the people very nice and friendly made me feel like a West Sider
Love that I can pop in for quick groceries or a tasty treat at the sandwich shop inside.
Great shopping and very near good restaurants
Restrooms were clean, and maintained. People outside asking for change.
Small, tight aisles.Front end employee was not willing to help me use a $25 coupon I forgot to use.
This grocery store is run by Meijer but the offerings are a cut above your typical Meijer fare. It feels more like a Whole Foods. The store features local small businesses and has higher-end items like Field & Fire pastries and Love’s ice cream. Prices are higher than for the big mega-brands, but you get what you pay for! This is my go-to spot for groceries when I’m in downtown Grand Rapids.
Great store people could be nicer
Best small grocery store on the West Side is a Meijer family project. Yes, you can use your Mperks! Would like to see the organic produce double in size, but all in all, they are very responsive. Want them to stock an item for you? Just ask, and they usually will accommodate request at least on a trial run or special order (keep in mind with a smaller footprint, they have a limited amount of shelf space, so if an item isn’t moving off the shelves, by necessity, it must be discontinued). The fresh mushrooms of just about every type imaginable are amazing. Nothing like it anywhere in GR that I know of.Super friendly team members, store manager is amazing. Free parking garage for shoppers. My only beef is I wish their hours reflected the Meijer chain schedule, as I sometimes work late and they are closed by the time I get there. I blame COVID, LOL. Oh, there’s a coffee shop, sushi counter, they carry The Cheese Lady’s and RISE BAKERY’s best, all fresh daily. I promise you you won’t know their stuff is vegan! They get fresh Field & Fire bread (Tip: bread arrives daily at C. noon - try their baguettes and Italian bread. Omg so good!) and they have probably the best vegan selection of ANY store in W. MI, in my opinion. Well done Meijer fam. You should do one in Ada, it would be mobbed... 🤓
The people that work there and the people that shop there can only be described as Beautiful
Cool place! A great mix of local foods and products as well as big name brands. They have a sandwich, shop, sushi stand and coffee shop in here. Prices are comparable to other Meijer locations. Convenient parking and very easy to run in and grab a couple items! Massive wine selection!
Love the layout, plenty of healthy food options and a great wine/beer/liquor section
This was the most TERRIBLE shopping trip I have experienced. Starting with being stared at by the workers as soon as we stepped foot into the building. Being followed around as if we were going to steal from the store, and even having a slight altercation with a worker at the checkout. We were purchasing our items and two female workers stood right across from us watching our every move . After asking why we were being watched she replied, “ Oh I wasn’t watching you guys I was watching everyone else.” We went about continuing to check out, then one of the items would not scan and we asked for help, the same women wanted us to take all the items out of our bag to see if we missed scanning an item. Absolutely ridiculous. Instead of causing a scene, we asked for a manager and continued to check out. By the time we were about to walk away from the checkout the manger finally approached us. He asked if everything was okay and then asked “if he could just check our bags and receipts to make sure everything was paid for”. Wow. We just processed to walk to our car and left. This was the most prejudice, unpleasant shopping experience and this location will never receive my money again!
Its a meijer. With some better selections of healthier foods and minimal processing, but still just a meijer.
Loved it. Had a bigger selection of gluten free foods
Covered parking makes it nice during rainy and snowy weather. Very nice for me as I am disabled. People are super friendly and their selection of beer, wine, and alcohol is amazing. I find unexpected bargains here too.
Good in theory, but always out of the things I need. Good for in between shops, but I usually end up having to drive to meijer anyhow.
Great looking store, great staff, and good prices
Love this modern grocery store with fresh fruit and vegetable
My favorite for quick grocery runs. Less variety on some items, but a pretty good mix of everything. Reasonable prices and lots of healthy options.
The sandwiches are SO GOOD. I got the number 17 with Roast beef and serrano mayo and it was nice and spicy on a snowy day.
