My favorite place to buy coffee beans! Been coming here for many years and my daughters remember it well from growing up. If you like dark roast, light roast, flavored coffees, and specialty drinks, you have to check this place out! I love to mix some of the flavored coffees and brew them together. They were one of the first places to showcase cold bree coffee which is the current rave today. Schuil Coffee is Michigan made and wonderful!

Coffee was great and the baristas were OUTSTANDING. This was our first time and we were a bit overwhelmed with the choices. They were super patient with us and very friendly. A tip for those who are indecisive, like us... they will allow you to get their coffee beans in 1/4 increments. We really appreciated this!! Thank you for the great coffee and hospitality!!

Im very impressed with the flavor of their coffees. But the thing I like most about Schuil is that they get it when it comes to customer service. The customer is king, the customer shouldnt be talked down to, and customers should be helped through the process if they dont know something.Sometimes, coffee shops are snobby to customers who are unfamiliar with coffee. Not Schuil. They really provide great service.This place is great at marketing and they usually are quite busy because they know how to get people to the door. I love what this coffee company is doing.

I have yet to try anything from Schuil that is not 100% amazing. The variety of coffees is fantastic, and the staff can always recommend things for you based on what you like. The coffee used in their beverages is, likewise, always phenomenal. Hands down the best cortado!!!

Bought this coffee as a present for my son-in-law for his birthday and gave it to him early so he can enjoy it most of his birthday month. He is thoroughly enjoying the single packets of flavors I chose for him. Granddaughter is also sampling along with him as he tries each one. I think he will be placing a reorder and I will be keeping this in mind for future gifts for him and also for friends.

Went here for the first time the other day and was really impressed! The staff was so helpful and the coffee was great. They have a really wide selection and can make almost any drink youd like. They even have beans from other roasters in GR. The price is great. They dont have indoor dining during COVID, but Im sure that will change soon.

Small showroom everything is behind the counter. You cant look or ask questions youll be in the way. No self service and only noticed two employees. I left the line was long and I REALLY felt in the way.

The latte foam was better than anywhere else in town. The regular coffee was better than anywhere else in town. The espresso was worth trying. The place smelled like artificially flavored coffee beans which I dislike.

What a lovely little coffee shop! I got the blended dirty chai and it was absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere is great, the people working there are so friendly and sweet, the selection of loose leaf teas and coffees are out of this world. This was my first visit but I highly doubt it will be my last.

Ordered Hazelnut cream. Good robust roast but doesnt taste like Hazelnut. If its any consolation, Ive not found a good Hazelnut coffee yet.

I loved my experience here!!! The staff were very welcoming and kind. I got a latte (berry and white chocolate) and it was very good! I purchased some ground coffee as well, but have yet had the chance to taste it. Over-all, my experience was great, and there was a good amount of variety in coffee flavors to choose from. Will definitely be coming back :)

Best coffee in Michigan, the way they make the coffee is totally different from all other sour taste coffee shops. The espresso shot goes directly into the cup preserving the foam, which is most important for espresso. The employees are very nice, clean and professional.P.S. Looking for a place to study and tried this coffee house for the first time. It is well decorated and comfortable. Trendy styling, with lots of space to sit and read or study. They have a side room that it looks like can be reserved for a group to host a meeting. Wide selection of coffees and drinks, and they have partnered with Donut Conspiracy so that both companies carry a couple of each others products, which is a nice add on. Friendly service was also very nice.

Such a cute quiet space tucked away behind the bustle of 28th Street. The prices were decent and they offered a lot of flavor options and specialty/seasonal drinks. The gentleman who made me my drink was very kind, whereas the young woman who checked me out wasnt as welcoming but we all have off days. I thought the space wasnt very big at first but theres another seating area when you walk further in. I will definitely be returning, I really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Great coffee selection. almost everything I have tried is good, and if not most likely it is just not my style.

Staff is beyond nice and can make great coffee to lol. Its still under construction so a little cramped but well worth it once you taste the product. I dont live to close but whenever we are in town we will definitely be stopping by again.

This place is one of my favorite places to get your coffee packages, tea, and all the coffin drinks you can get, All in one location. The service always wonderful. I wish they open a little bit longer and I wish it was a more room to sit there. Other than that its fantastic place to go.

Good variety/selection, the beans are roasted correctly. Small parking lot can be a challenge at times, and if they are busy, service suffers a bit. The staff seems to be very knowledgeable about their beans and processes. My favorite is the Ethiopian Harrar whole bean. My wife is a decaf drinker and says their flavored decaf selection is quite good, too.

Broad selection of coffee and teas. Very friendly and welcoming as well as very educational. The owner personally came out, greeted and spoke with me. They shared information on the quality of their beans, locations harvested from, their roasting process. Prices are very reasonable. They also have large selection of coffee and tea related items such as tea brewing instruments, canisters, chocolate covered beans, dark chocolates, mugs, individual cocoa packs designed for different events, great gift items! Will be returning when I am back in the area again.

Absolutely love this place! The coffee is amazing and they have so many different choices of coffee. You can get single origin coffees from all over the world or you can get flavored coffees like chocolate marshmallow!

Another great locally owned business. Have been buying my coffee here for probably 20 years. The staff has great knowledge about coffee. I swear by the Toddy Brewing System, so ask the staff what makes that brewing method so much better than others.

The Carmel apple latte was delicious!! It smells amazing in there. Staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. I brought 3 lbs of Michigan Swwet Cherry coffee home to Florida, which will probably happen at every visit from now on.

Fantastic coffee. So many flavors and origins. The Nutty Irishman is one of our favorites. The staff is always friendly and fun. They have several small tables so you can sit and enjoy some coffee there but we usually just buy beans.

Schuils coffee is a wonderful place to visit!! They have more flavors than you can imagine and they are all available in DECAF as well as regular!! For us decaf drinkers this is exceptional!! For some reason other stores that carry coffee think that decaf drinkers are only interested in hazelnut or regular coffee! I think that there are many decaf drinkers out there and other stores need to WAKE UP!!

Ordered online whole been coffee for my Rancilio Silvia and it is some of the best I have had. The Sumatra is perfect and their dark roast is as it should be, dark, not burnt. Next time Im in GR I have check out the shoppe too. Great prices and fast shipping!

Huge selection of flavored coffee, most of which are great. I usually go for the regular coffee and have never been disappointed. The loose leaf tea selection also does not disappoint. Weekly specials are a great way to get your personal coffee stock.

We had a wonderful cup of coffee trying the Holiday blend.The cups were ample and the layout of the store was such there was always something to look at.The staff was attentive and helpful an made some excellent suggestionsWe would love to try this again
