Ive been using Legacy Auto-Tech for 7 years now and have recommended them to others I work with. They dont upsell or push unnecessary services. Theyve talked me out of some services even as they said everything was good and would only waste money. Its hard to find a good honest mechanic, it just so happens this shop is full of them.

Very polite, easy to talk to. Took the time to speak to me with appreciate and explain what was going on in terms that I could understand. I greatly appreciated the upfront quote with options and prices for each possible outcome. Definitely would recommend. Definitely will be going back.

I was very happy with the service but the price for the oil change ($55) and diagnostic on my back seat not declining (another $55) was a little high. I decided not to have them do a diagnostic on the radio fuse for a $110. Also, I declined their suggestion of replacing the battery for $350.

Ive taken my truck to Legacy for several years. Customer service is fantastic! They are detailed as to the work needed, understand that nobody wants to spend more than he has to, and work hard to meet your now I dont have a vehicle needs. INTEGRITY.Im not a local resident of the area but had my car problems with my car there while on loan to our son and daughter-in-law who live there. Last Thu it would not start, surprisingly since I had just installed a brand new battery two weeks prior....so I was prepared for an alternator replacement. But lo and behold, it was simply a poor connection on the negative battery terminal impeding a full contact for proper charging. They could have just replaced the alternator or faked a replacement and I probably wouldnt have known. But NO....they were HONEST. That was impressively respectable in my book. If I lived closer, I would send all my auto service work there. Thank you Steve and the Legacy Auto team. You guys rock in my book.

Every single time we have an issue, they go above and beyond to make sure our expectations are exceeded. I can’t recommend theprofessionals here enough.From assisting us with our old clunker cars and allowing us to leave them in the lot before being picked up by a junker, taking the initiative to notify us of a warranty through our local dealership that saved us THOUSANDS of dollars (even though they could have easily taken the work/money themselves), and finally, fixing a simple bumper problem the same day without hesitation, and not asking for anything in return.I believe character and integrity matters when you select professionals to handle your property. These guys saved me $5k after I brought in my Subaru Outback to diagnose a knock. They notified me of a class action lawsuit against Subaru that had extended my powertrain warranty to 100k miles, due to excessive oil consumption that could lead to said knock. I was at 99k when I brought it in to Legacy, luckily... This is something the Subaru dealer had never disclosed with me in all of my visits for various service, including when I brought the knock to their attention a year before this. Legacy advised me to call Subaru of America, and that a new short block should be covered under the extended warranty. Sure enough, after running an oil consumption test with Subaru, I am now getting a brand new short block at no cost. If Legacy had no knowledge of this lawsuit, I wouldve quickly rolled over 100k miles, voided my warranty, and been stuck with a bunk engine or a $5k repair bill. I couldnt recommend these guys more. Reliable auto repair but requires appointments.

I went to Legacy for the first time since the change in ownership and was quite pleased. I had been using my local dealership for oil changes and other repairs. On one occasion I asked the dealership to check to see if an engine mount was loose because the car rattled. The dealership tech told me that the car was just old and maybe it was time for a new car. I took the car into Legacy for an oil change and Steve at Legacy noticed the rattle. The staff diagnosed the problem and asked me if I wanted it fixed while they were doing the oil change. I agreed and they had the car fixed in no time at a reasonable price. I could not be happier with the service. I will do business with them again.

I had a strange engine issue where the team at Legacy Auto-Tech went through a superior diagnostic process to identify the cause and provided clear remediation steps.

Legacy does a solid job of figuring out what is wrong, explaining the issue, discussing urgency and/or necessity of the fix, and getting the work done quickly and professionally. I have gotten their help with everything from oil changes to electrical system diagnostics to suspension repairs and have been satisfied with their quality work and service. Would highly recommend.

Andy and the guys are trustworthy which is #1 when spending a lot of money. Legacy has been in business a long time too. They also use good communication software so I can see pictures and descriptions of exactly what they recommend and why. I’ve been working with them for probably 10+ years and would recommend if need vehicle work done.

I cant always come here due to my work schedule, but if I can, I prefer to get my regular oil changes done here. Their pit stop inspection is very thorough, they take pictures, email you your inspection and give you a detailed outlook on what future work you need to get done. At one of my visits my service advisor even took me into the shop to show me something specific on my vehicle. Also, ladies, they DO NOT talk down to you. I highly recommend this place.

Legacy Auto was recommended to me by someone I know. I took my Subaru Outback 2009 to be looked as it was making noise when driving. They got me scheduled a few days later which was great ! I dropped the car off and Steve took a look at it and called me back really quick. We discussed the issues and he provided me an estimate of costs. I am very pleased with my experience here and plan to return in the future. They also have an excellent Covid protocol! Steve wore a mask while talking to me when I picked up my car and hand sanitizer is provided as well as clean pens when filling out your key drop card.

Ive been a customer of Legacy ever since getting my truck back in 2014 and theyre my first stop if I need anything fixed (being a 94 F150 with nearly 300k miles things are starting to pop up). Ive never once felt like I wasnt getting a fair deal or that they were giving me the run around, the quality of work the guys do is great and they stand behind it, and theyve gone above and beyond for me and a few friends on several occasions - in my case I had to make an emergency drop off of my truck midway into taking my elderly mom (76) on a grocery trip. Being mid winter and almost a foot of snow on the ground we would have likely had to take a bus back home but without batting an eye one of the guys offered to give us a ride back to her appartment because we werent far away. When my truck was finished later that afternoon he even came back to give me a ride to pick it up!Legacy genuinely is one of those friendly family businesses and Im always happy to recommend them whenever Im asked about mechanics.

You never expect the unexpected. Just like you dont expect there to be someone there to help you if something does happen. After dropping my kid off at school on my normal morning routine I had a tire blowout while I had my 5 month old daughter with me. I coasted as far as I could and just made it to the corner right near Legacy Auto-Tech. Not knowing I had a blowout yet, I get out and look. Check for a spare, nothing. I ask who I now know as John, Hey, can I use your air hose?. He replied,sure, pull right up.. He proceeded to try and put air in my tire. Not holding air, he says. He then proceeded to jack the car up in the parking lot and asks me to check for a spare. I didnt have one. I didnt know what I was going to do from here. John walks away for a moment, comes back with a tire that is an exact for my car (God). Mind you, this is not a tire shop. He then says hey man this should fit. Well throw it on for you, no charge. The manager then comes out right before it starts to rain and says come inside with your daughter, have some coffee well take care of you. After they were done they even parked my car under the car port to keep me and my daughter out of the rain. Great guys there. They didnt have to go out of their way and help, but they did. Such a great shop. I’ve been taking our vehicles here for a while now and am always impressed with the quality of work they do and how professional they are. Came out a few days ago to find my drivers side wiper did not work. It was snowing lightly and needed to use the vehicle for 4 hours. Called Legacy right away and Steve got me in the next day. Simple repair and it was ready by noon the next day. These have been my guys since it was Jacks Service. Thats around 40 years. Ive never left and theyt have always been outstanding in their workmanship and customer service. I recommend Legacy with no reservations.

I mean where do i start, im a young 19 year old who tried to fix for the most part all my problems in my car, i did but then ran into a fuse box, electrical problem that i couldnt fix from home so thats where i called legacy auto Right from the bat steve was very understanding he has amazingly cheap prices and high quality work. They fixed my wiring problem and got my car to start within the same day and they also let me know about other problems i had in my car that they recommended a fix this place is amazing and if you need your car fixed definitely go here i have a 05 mustang and they also have a tech there who is really good with fords overall 6/5 stars seriously they are kind there not rude they get to the point.

I was in a bind on a Friday afternoon and needed to be in Detroit in a couple hours. My break light switch stopped working and Legacy was able to get me the part and have me on the road in roughly half an hour. They were already working on several vehicles and were on their lunch break, but still managed to take care of me! I’ve been using Legacy for a couple years now and have never been disappointed, they do exceptional work.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I brought my van in to be checked over to see what was wrong. They quoted me with over $3,000 worth of repairs. I took it somewhere else and it was fixed for $1,100. They also charged me $200 for $60 worth of work. They told me it was going to be $200 to fix my AC so they said “authorize $200 on the paper when you turn your key into to the box” and thinking my AC was going to be fixed, I did it. They called later saying it was going to be more, and I said I’ll just come pick it up. They did an “evaluation” and charged me $200 even though it was clearly not supposed to be that much. I know this because he specifically told me that a diagnosis was going to be $60. They only charged me that amount because that’s what I authorized. So, jokes on me I guess. Front desk guy is SUPER unprofessional and disrespectful towards women as well. I would not recommend this place to anyone if you want honest people who aren’t going to overcharge you and rip you off. Also, in the response they gave my husband below, they said the AC was working after it left. Yeah, it worked for 2 hours and there was still a major shimmy in the steering so I’m not sure why they are once again lying and saying they “fixed” that. I had explained to them that we already knew what was wrong and it just needed to be fixed. They didn’t listen at all, they wasted my time, and they lied.In response to the response below:No, this was not a dishonest review. This is exactly what happened. If being immature is sharing the truth about what happened in that situation then I guess oh well. This was also not me trying to knock down your google rating. This was me trying to make other people aware of your business practices. Hopefully you’ve fixed them and this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Brought car in for a belt fix and to check the brakes. They ended up doing a full report of the car without telling us which is fine but then charged us 110.00 for that service and simply tightening a belt. Then they said we needed so much work on the car. So much stuff that it seemed they were not being truthful or were out to make a lot of money. One issue was the brakes which we knew needed to be replaced. They said the cost for the brakes were going to be 945.00. I dont know much about cars but I do know that seems high. I called several other places and asked what it would cost and the same service was anywhere from 500.00- 550.00. Sorry I cant trust people like that! It seemed like they were trying to rip us off. Maybe that wasnt the intention but I dont agree with doing the report without asking and saying there is a fee. I also think the price was so extreme....almost double that I will never use these people again.

I had never been to legacy before, but I never plan to leave!My car was having some unexpected issues(as always), the guys got me in and looked at my car 2 days sooner than they had originally promised! I don’t know much about cars but Jacob was very thorough and informative when explaining the issues and what they planned to do to fix them. As a college student I didn’t have much money for this, they helped me prioritize my repairs to make sure my car was still safe and reliable until I was able to have all the work completed. It has now been 3 months since the work was done, my car is running better than before and I couldn’t be happier! The atmosphere was great and the guys were very welcoming and profession. 10/10 would recommend to all.

They were very helpful at the last minute. I needed my AC fixed before a long drive, and were able to get me in that afternoon for a diagnosis. Turns out all I needed was Freon, so they took care of it quickly. Most places I called turned me away because they were busy, these guys were busy but helped me anyway.

My SUV was blowing cold air while it was cold outside. Basically, no heat! I dropped it off in the morning, they called 6 hours later saying that it was completely done and working like new again...for about $30 LESS than what they quoted me. Hey, cheaper than expected and now I have hot air again and I dont have to drive around freezing all winter - Im happy! Thank you!
