This is your typical farmers market. Only it is contained inside a tiny building. I contemplated giving this place three stars or four stars. I gave them four stars because I did see some tomatoes from Canton, TX. When I go to a farmers market, I want to see local produce. I didnt give them five stars because it is a tiny building.Also. I went here for a Hatch Chili Festival. They sold out before I could grab any two hours before the event ended. I will know next time to go earlier.
This is place to go for fresh produce!! The vendors are so nice and helpful!! While we were in the area I did a good chunk of our food shopping for the week!! Yummy!! The pickled green tomatoes made the best addition to sandwiches made from the jalapeños bread from another vendor!! Go check it out during the Saturday market!!
I enjoyed it! Was my 1st time attending.
Great little market. Love being a vendor there just not enough customers. Come on out and support us.
It is small but has great vendors, we got some of the best water I have ever tasted. Also the vegetable were huge. We bout a watermelon the sweetest and best Ive had this year!

Theres good reason why they are #1 in all of Texas
First time coming here and all of the vendors were very kind and have so much passion for their business :)
Various vendors. Nice place to visit in downtown GP.
I really recommend the homemade jellies sold here. Theyre delicious.
Absolutely love it here! They have regular vendors so you get to know them people there are just always so nice.
Great local farmers market for fresh produce. We enjoy supporting local businesses and farmers.

Hatch chili festival is awesome.!
Amazing organic green house veggies and fruits.
All Im going to say is For real dough cookies!! Thank me later!
There are better markets .
Fresh sprouts are awesome.
Love this place but they were closed..maybe for the season..Im not sure. On Google it said it was open. I stay almost an hour away only to get there and it was close..:-(
All the vendors were nice except for one. The couple that sells the vegetables. 2nd time coming and on both occasions neither one spoke or acknowledged me. The first time I was the only person standing there and had to ask for some okra. The second time he looked at me and told the young man with them to see what I needed. (which the young man was nice). But I noticed when someone else of a different race walked up, the older man immediately went over greeting and speaking to them. The young man had to ask the older man how much to charge and he told him. The price was higher for me. And the reason I know this is because I asked my neighbor, which is a different race what she was charged when she bought the same item and she said a lesser amount than what I paid. Not good business people.
Love the GP Farmers market! Check out The Beard Place! Great soaps, oils, balms & more!
Gives small town feel... love farmers market need more vendors though... the wad a man playing his guitar it was nice. Lemonade guy had$4/$5 drinks they were good. We bought zucchini, banana, bread very very dry. Dont buy it
It wasnt very many vendors...maybe because of COVID 19.Today was my first visiting the Market. The people was great. I will definitely be back.
Friendly helpful people enjoyed it
Nice place to visit!
Great selection, very helpful staff.
A lot of build up for not too much variety of vendors. It was ok
Very small but enjoyed it
I love the GPFM! The vendors are all helpful and it is a pleasure to buy from them.
Amazing place to find local and fresh products! My favorite stand is the one with the fresh lemonade! The guy who runs it, Rudy, is super nice and funny. Plus the lemonade is amazing! But it sells out super fast so you have to be one of the firsts in line. Theres also a lot of festivals held here year round and its just a great place to check out in general.
Friendly vendors and great selection. They are accommodating and keeping everyone safe.
Fruit are fresh and so abundant. Homemade jellies, cakes, etc.
It was rainy when we went so there werent as many vendors as apparently there normally are, but everyone was friendly. They had great food (we bought amazing blueberries from one of the vendors) and live music. My toddler had a blast. Parking was also really easy to find.
Love coming to the different events they have on certain weekends. Its a small market but there are lots of vendors with different hand made items & foods. My favorite event to go to every year is the crawfish boil.
This is always an adventure. Absolutely love this market!!
I like to go out here and buy fresh produce nice to go early in the morning, I miss brass bean ☕️ though, used to always stop in there and get coffee before I headed out to the market and shopped. Peaceful waters Is a must! Candles smell so good !! And I miss the amish lady she made the best pies 🥧
Good selections, kind vendors
Great people and products
Although small, it was a pretty good Farmers Market. We went not really intending to spend any money, but wound up buying several things. They had a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, just not an abundance of them. We bought some fresh baked bread, homemade jam, spices and tea. They also had beefy jerky, coffee, popcorn, and several other small vendors. We will certainly be going back. Everyone there was super friendly too.
Lots of yummy food. And in late spring big glossy produce and plants, at a bargain.
Was great! Bought salsa and cookies
Super awesome, Tiki has lots of people that love her there. Good veggies and vendors! Very friendly atmosphere!
Its a nice place to get some home made goods and fresh produce. There were a couple stages set up for live bands... It was fun.
Great place to visit and get vegetables.
Food is great but service isnt always so good. Always order our lunch for work here. Salad is gooood.
Most of the produce I purchased here wasn’t fresh at all. It tasted about a week old. The peaches were especially dry and old. The atmosphere was pretty nice, but honestly the produce just wasn’t fresh.
Had a fantastic time. Bought some really nice soap and body butter and some fresh fruit. Will definitely go again.
Love this place. I always visit Susans booth....She has the most amazing hand poured candles. Her company name is Peaceful waters.
Love this place! Great vendors, great prices, great entertainment and Mr. Ray is great manager! Stop by and say hi!
Recommend the soap/candle lady. Love all her stuff. Reasonably pricrd, but only takes cash so come prepared.
It was very nice we enjoyed it.
Lots of craft booths with a couple of produce vendors. Vegetables and melons are fantastic! Limited parking out front but plenty of spaces around back. Just be sure not to park in the apartments designated parking lot directly behind the square, go to the one just to the east.
They have fun activities for the kids when they do festivals, and fresh vegetables when they open for the farmers market.
Its great to stroll through the market. There is a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables to purchase. A little bit of everything is there. Go and enjoy.
We went to the street or treat event for Halloween and there was so many people in such a little space you couldnt move. We stood in line after line not knowing what they were for since they had no signs anywhere. My kids only got about 5 pieces of candy. We left to go house to house
Great fruit, veggies, plants and food. Prices a bit higher than expected. But no regrets.
Local artisans selling their beautiful hand made goods. Food grown and sold locally. Great environment. Live music. Theres always some kind of Event going on.
Great place to go to get some fresh food and see what local family small businesses have to offer. Highly recommended.
We love the farmers market. I recommend going early to get the best produce and variety.
Love going to the Grand Prairie Farmers Market. Lots of vendors and the produce is always fresh and delicious!Lots of things to do in the area.
Really cute little farmers market. I especially liked the lemonade stand, the boudin balls, and the homemade jams. Visit the two bearded guys for moisturislzing and masculine-smelling handmade soap. We enjoyed the live band: they were talented and entertaining! Everyone was so friendly. It helped that half the farmers market was under a corrugated steel shelter, which made the late summer heat less oppressive. Theyre open until December 15th, so go check it out!
I come to this farmers market on Saturdays sometimes. They always have something going on---craft vendors, music playing. Its family friendly. You can also buy other great items such as salsas, breakfast, BBQ plates, sweets (cakes & pies), jellies, relishes, eggs, cheese, other organic foods, and plants.
Seasonal flea market form April to the December sells all sorts of unique items like gourmet salsa, flavor oil, beard oil libercants, lettuce, BBQ and ill let you figure out the rest. Depending on how you come in there are 2 parts to it. If your on the side where you can walk outside and shop then walk to the side walk, then walk to your left and youll find your way. Probably one of the best flea markets Ive been to.
Great market! They have lots of stuff, friendly people, great all around experience.
Only shopped for fresh vegetables and they are very nice but no greens today.
I really like this little farmers market. Great selection of produce and handmade goods.
The staff was courteous and went the extra mile to provide me with exactly what I was looking for.
We love this farmers market every Saturday when in season. I wish it was offered Friday through Sunday. Very clean and maintained. We always enjoy the themes they hold.
Farmers Market had a wonderful selection of foods, unique Taylord salsa, baked and loads of fresh food; clothing, accessories, it was laid out in downtown GP for a fantastic experience - with live music too.
Love this tiny market. The beard oil guy rocks, produce is always nice and its very family friendly.
Great selection of local and homemade products definitely got to check out the lemonade stand they have there. The tall guy with the Mohawk is super nice ask for the brass bean lemonade.
This is the place to go when you are looking for quality products. I like buying me a fresh squeezed lemonade and taking a stroll around after some breakfast from the Bean. That Rudy loves to put on a show when he makes my drink 😉 stop by on a Saturday morning youll enjoy it.
This place is awesome! So many international products, it is truly amazing.
Awesome market, arts n craft were down home,as were the merchants, great visit.
I really wished that farmers would come out to sale their crops and or meat, poultry, etc.. its nice though
Love visiting this place, everyone is always so friendly.
Friendly,, everyone was wearing a mask and the prices was right
Not a lot of variety this time of year but, I was still able to buy some fresh produce and olive oil.
One of the largest small town farmers market in the Metroplex.
