I came in knowing what I need it done on my vehicle. I asked him to replace one part and they still have to run a diagnostic on it which they charge me for. I’ve had work done from them in the past in which I still had a warranty on my AC system. They charge me for pulling Freon and putting in Freon when I did not need it done. They charge me $105 for a $60 part. They also charge me an hour and a half worth of labor for a 30 minute job. They did not listen to the customer and charged because they could. What should have been $150 job turned into a $426 job.Precision tunes auto care, if you want to fix this issue, please reach out to me if not my review will stay as it is.

This place is TRASH!... Except the guy at the front counter. His Customer Service was exceptional.I took my car in for the Maintenance Package special. I had a coupon. As you see in the photo, there a few things covered. They DID NOT not put more coolant in my car. They DID NOT top my underhood fluids, my tires were NOT rotated. The only thing they did was put oil in my car for $117.Its so unfair how mechanics treat women and people of color. They think we dont know anything about anything. I will NOT be back!

I dropped my 4Runner Toyota To fix the brakes on05/19/2021 to your Goldsboro N C Center. But they could not fixed it properly & Delivered the vehicle & Charged $ 329.99.Though Brake is the most important part of a vehicle, On the very next day l dropped the car to precision again to fix the brakes.They said that they did not have the tools to fix the brakesImmediately after that i went to Toyota dealer & fixed my car.Now my question is, before you touched the vehicle you should say that you could not fix the vehicle because of you did not have the tools.So that I did not need to pay you $329.99 without fixing my brakes.Extremely sorry to say that such a well renowned big company like you, we never expect this type of services.According to both business law & justice You should return my money back. & I would appreciate to get my money back.

Took my car for oil change On Aug 4( Wednesday) picked the package I wanted. Mind you I moved my daughter in college two days later which was on a Friday. I noticed on Monday Aug 9 that Im missing 2 tire lug nut/bolts. How unprofessional is that. Ask to speak to management...and She act as if I was wrong or it wasnt true. Just didnt like her response. Of course Im upset all types of what if came to mind. Get there she doesnt acknowledge me or say she apologize for what happened. Someone else had to tell me.Had the same experience at the Greenville store. Thats why I went to Goldsboro thinking I have a better experience. Never again!!!!!!

I went in for a oul change, and to check my power steering. Lady comes with a work up bill for $1100. This would be to replace my steering pump, rack and pension, and wheel alignment) parts alone would have been $600. I left, went and got a second opinion, I dont need a new pump just the rack and pinion and wheel alignment. Stop over charging people!! I might be a female but I know about cars! And you will never get $1100 from me. Sorry not sorry

After speaking with Ronnie in Customer service I have been able to change my previous rating from 1 to 4. The in-shop experience was less than great, however, after speaking with Ronnie and his care and attentiveness to my concerns made up for the lack of care during the in person visit.

Good place for a tune up

They do my oil change on the regular then they became concerned with my window tint. Now they service nd do a coolant exchange where they found multiple leaks but WOULD not say where after a $120 service UNLESS i had it diagnose.. Aint the brightest but its either the radiator or resevoir right. 2 years ago this was the best place in goldsboro now big difference

I wish Id went to Precision sooner...would have saved time and money. I had a terrible experience at the local Ford dealership and gave them a one star review but took down my post because the manager called and apologized but I will not forget the experience. Precision Tune Auto Care on the other hand is another story...a better one. Totally professional. Totally concerned with whats wrong with the vehicle and how to repair it. Real straight forward with diagnosis, time and cost of repair. This is how a customer should feel... Knowing they got good work done at a fair price in a reasonable amount of time. Anybody with a Ford Mariner/Focus around 2005 know the alternator is buried under the engine and is a pain to get to. I watched the YouTube videos but couldnt do it. I called the local Ford dealership for a quote on price and time for alternator repair and when I got there the price and time of repair changed dramatically. That alone warns of the shady and deceptive practices that customers have to endure dealing with businesses. I brought my vehicle to Precision Tune Auto Care on a Friday and got it back Saturday. They changed out a dry cracked vacuum line and pointed out some seal and gasket leaks. I cant wait to return my vehicle to Precision Auto again. Alternator replacement plus premium oil change total of $404.00 is nothing compared to the thousands($1200-$3000) that some places wanted to charge me. I recently started work hours away from Goldsboro but can you guess where I will going for all of my auto repairs... Precision Tune Auto Care.

Friendly customer service, but under qualified technicians. over filled my tires to 65 PSI on a car that needs 38 PSI. thats over the limit and yet this shop didnt care. no attention to detail. Also, the wheel weights fell off within 20 minutes. I do not recommend this shop to no one unless you want your car to be broke when you get it back.

They told us our rotors could not be turned and had to be replaced. After the service was complete we asked to see the rotors and they were fine, could have easily been turned. We were way overcharged. They completely took advantage of us because we told them we were passing through town. We contacted corporate office and never received a response. Not the way to do business. Very unhappy customer.

Got wrong information on my car and 3nded up going 3 times on my car. Bad customer service from a young lady.

Promised parts were there for two days before I dropped my vehicle off there strutts and tires . Later told after two hours that only 2 tires were there and come back on Tuesday for the tires. As for the strutts theyre fine the rating is based on the fact I didnt get all the work done after they told me several days in advance my parts were there.

I am appalled by the service I received..as I asked upon arrival for my AC to be checked to see if it needed more freon bucause car wasn’t getting cold. AC was working and check engine light was NOT on. I received a call about 430pm from Jeanette stating that my AC sensor was not working properly and to repair with parts and labor would be $668.. I declined the repair as I have a relative who is mechanic.. when I got to station, paid for service and proceeded to leave in my car, the check engine light is NOW on...needless to say that when I dropped off the car my boss specifically asked me if check engine light was on...so I was already aware that light was not ON...the mechanic and Jeanette swore that I dropped it off with light on already.. if I happened checked it previously they would have scammed me out of $668.. also immediately I took to Ash automotive who told me that what I was quoted was ridiculously high as the part is no more than $35 and labor about an hour if you work slow..Thanks to Blue who works there for over 20 yrs came out with his diagnostic device and said he sees no reading for the AC being faulty... he turned off check engine light and said AC is fine.Sad day when companies take advantage of the disabled population.. needless to say I’m African American and a repeated customer!!!

My car left needing the same repair that they claimed they gave me I came in town from Raleigh NC to get an Alignment done and my steering wheel was still vibrating all the way back home each time I had to hit brakes to stop or slow down this is the worst service I have ever gotten from Precision and I have been a faithful customer with the business over ten years very unhappy I have to return their today infact hopefully they will get it right this time if not I will just go somewhere else that will do the job correctly

I spent over 5 hours waiting on an oil change and a wheel alignment with new tires. They said they had to get tires from Wilson at 1230pm which is 30 mins away. I was okay with it and decided to wait. At 4pm my truck still hasn’t even been pulled into the bays. At 530 pm I was still waiting. They kept coming up with excuses for what was taking so long but they didn’t even touch my truck until after 4pm. There was so much time they could have started on what the needed to do but no. They wasted my whole day.

Went in for a routine tire alignment, advertised as $39. It was $80. Then we got a call telling us that they couldnt perform the alignment because of some arbitrary issue, that was not an issue and recently serviced, for an extra $499. Fortunately my husband is more competent than I am and said do it anyways. They said okay. We have SO MUCH pull to one side when driving now, its WORSE than before. Huge scam. All about profit. Very disappointed. Will NEVER return.EDIT: Apologies, this is about a year and a half later and I never updated this review, but they ended up refunding the money and promised a free alignment if we ever came back. According to them, there was a trainee that was working on our car and it was not up to their standards. They were quick to fix what was wrong so I commend them for the customer service.Additional details: I took my tire to them to bead and they were expeditious on a holiday weekend. Upgrade to 3 stars

If I could not give them a star and still comment I would... Was told over the phone a diagnostic would cost $90 I get there they do the diagnostic test come back and try to charge me $182 for a mass air flow sensor that cost around $40 at oreillys also charge me $170 for a manifold absolute pressure sensor thats around $70 for a grand total of $857.30 they would fix it for me 🤨 then when I declined the work to be done, they tried to charge me $200 some dollars... BEWARE THERE IS SOME SHISTY BUSINESS GOING ON THERE!!!! 🤔

They performed an oil change, but the vehicle still missed two quarts when they were finished. The oil was still dirty and they did not top off any fluids as purchased. The power steering fluid was still low. Any maintenance done at this location was for convenience, but I would never refer anyone and will ensure others are well informed on their ploy to find additional work that needs to be done. If I could give zero stars, I would give -2.

Some all around pretty good hard working guys. Took car in for a check engine light ended up being an easy fix was expecting to pay a small fortune. Ended up getting my oil changed and my inspection as well.

Spent $1231 on 2 front calipers, pads & rotors on my 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. Dropped it off and when I picked my truck up the technician that did the work installed my new pad bracket hardware BACKWARDS. So it was constantly digging into the rotors. Basically everytime I moved forward or in reverse the truck squealed horribly like I needed brakes all over again!! Had broken my leg so I was unable to do work myself, have been a technican for 6 years myself. They have horrifically Inexperienced Technicians on duty and after all this I couldn’t even get an “I’m sorry” from the people at the front counter. The white woman there at the counter with all the piercings was very uncompassionate, and rude honestly. Will update this post as I have dropped off the truck today for them to fix the issue.Update: picked truck up, technican tried to tell me that it was a combination of the cheap pad bracket hardware that precision buys for use in its brake jobs and also he tried to tell me that my loose ball joints were causing my brakes to squeal horribly. Well that’s all a bunch of bs if I have ever heard it I have been in this industry for 6 years. Lady at the front w the tattoos and piercings couldn’t even tell me what had been done when I picked my truck up she had to go get the tech to tell me that and they also refused to replace my pads and rotors which are ruined now Bc of the groove the hardware dig into the rotors. What a waste of money & the trucks front brakes are still squealing horribly even after I picked the truck up. So I will now have to go buy new pads and rotors and re do it myself now that my leg has healed and I can do so. Never bring your vehicles here!!!!! They have zero attention to detail and will lie to cover up there mistakes!! Will be reaching out to there corporate for a refund. Incredibly disappointed with spending over 1,000 dollars here only to have to do it again

I went in to get my vehicle checked. They were very busy that day as I waited. They had customers walking in, waiting, annoyed customers checking to see how much longer, etc. It was non-stop customer walk-ins. I was impressed with the customer service of Alex. I have never seen the type of customer service he gave from any auto repair shop in my life! He displayed patience, effective communication, good listening skills, kindness, and self-control. Additionally he greeted and acknowledged every customer that walked in. Someone please give this guy a raise.I was astound, as he was being targeted in every direction. Just had an alignment, balance, and greased wheel bearings done for $216. Only and hour and a half wait BUT as soon as Im leaving I noticed my phone charger is missing out of my center console. I get home and check under the seats, in the console and in the back and I found nothing. I also had a roll of nickels in the center console that is also missing. When I picked up my vehicle the doors were unlocked so Im not sure if someone from the shop took them or if someone rooted through my unlocked truck in the parking lot. Will not be returning to this shop.v

This place is unprofessional!! i took my car twice to them and they didn’t do what they were suppose to neither time!! i was suppose to get an oil change and top off my fluids they changed the oil and said they changed the fluid but didn’t cause my car over heated and i’m over here thinking it’s full of antifreeze, then when i call and complain they tell me they’ll look for leaks and put some more in they didn’t bc they were trying to get a lady that’s been there 3-4 times already done with and they tell me i have a leak and don’t put more in when they were suppose to! this place is not a place you want to bring your car too and trust!

A year ago I gave this place 5 stars..but now after our recent experience with them I would rate them 0 if I could. If you want your car worse than what it was, to not be fixed correctly, bad mechanical work, overcharging, not being test drove to even check the work they did....then take your car here. I dont know where they got their mechanics from..but take them back. Just stay away from this place. They need shut down. We should have taken our car to a dealership or a other shop where the mechanics know what the hell they are doing and listened to others advice that had previous bad experience with this place.

Nice service

They changed the oil in my father in laws car and left the oil cap off. It was not learned until half the oil was blown out all under the hood. We had to have the car towed to a local dealer to check the engine for damage and to change the oil again, replace the missing cap, and clean up the engine and under side of the hood. Thankfully there was no engine damage and I can say Precision Tune did at least pay the cost for everything but the tow...which we didnt seek reimbursement for since it was covered with no charge through our AAA.

30 minute simple tire patch took over an hour. Unsure if AC is working in lobby, excessively hot. Staff says air conditioning issue has been going on for years, but still an issue. Cant say I could trust someone to work on my vehicle if they cant maintain their own facility.Nice staff, but I will not be back.

Took my car in I told them that it was the blower motor so my car wouldn’t over heat my engine. After tests were done they confirmed what I said. They also told me that the upper line to my AC is not working and needed to be replaced. I told them just to fix the blower motor. Got my car home noticed a hose or some type of line wasn’t attached to my car. I reattached it filled it with Freon and AC works fine. Do not go there

They took my car in without an appointment and almost immediately started looking to see what the problem was. Highly recommended!! Long east coast trip with overnight stay at Best Western Plus, Goldsboro. Car starts making noise at the front left wheel. Googled nearby auto repair and found Precision Tune walking distance away(1/4 mile??) Called first, then drove over in the morning. I was disappointed to see quite a few customers already waiting, but my fears were unfounded. This place has 6 bays and is a car repair FACTORY! Cars and customers are constantly coming in and out. They had my car on the lift, replaced the wheel hub assembly, and I was back at the hotel before the 11 AM checkout time. Thank you, Josh, and thank you Precision Tune!

Brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. It was very quick and very reasonably priced. If you Google this particular location theyve got some great coupons that they honor.

Today I brought my car here for an oil change. While I was waiting the cashier spoke to several people shrewdly when they did not get the recommended repairs done at that time, or when they stated they were getting them repaired elsewhere. He even went as so far as to ask them where they were going, why, who was fixing it, and even how much it was going to cost them. When they gave him a cheaper price than the shop quoted them he always had a quick comeback. In my opinion these were personal questions, and asking them about their business in front of a room full of people was unprofessional.My personal problem was the cashiers remark that he HAD to take my $100 bill since it was a federal note, smoking in the bay and UNDER my car while it was being worked on, and all the oil they left behind in(and on) my car. First of all my bill was reasonable for a $70 fee. Second, smoking around all that oil and gas seems to be unsafe to me. Not to mention I strongly dislike the smell of smoke and go to great lengths to keep it out and away from my car. The fact he disrespected my property enough to smoke wherever he wanted regardless of it being my car really makes me mad. Last but not least the oil left behind. I dont pay all this money to keep my car up just to have to clean up this mess behind someone. It was on the door, door handle, the door frame (interior), the bottom of the interior door, and the steering wheel. Some is understandable, but this was plain ridiculous.

I visited the goldsboro location today(111419) and honestly the waiting room was cold, the flies were everywhere and annoying, and my tire service took about 5 hours (922am-245pm) but.....the staff were so friendly and helpful its like I didnt mind it. There were 3 staff there today and they were all great! One lady even went to Wilson to pick a tire up for me so I really appreciated that. if yall could take this as corrective criticism. Only thing wrong was the waiting room and time it took for service.

I wish I could give zero stars. The customer service experience I had there was atrocious! I guess Barry Moore no longer works there, for reasons I am unaware of. He was the representative I spoke with the first time I had my car serviced here, and his customer service was fantastic but the actual repairs took longer than expected, follow up was almost nonexistent, I had to call several times throughout the week to check on the status of my vehicle and all of the concerns were not addressed. They did give me a good price though. This visit was nothing like the first! The new rep was rude, questioned me like I was a criminal because I had a free oil change voucher that my manager had given me that he received from the shop a few months back. I understand if they were unable to honor it but the rep was rude and suggested I was lying??? They also quoted me 1200 dollars for repairs that were quoted at 500 dollars at another local shop. When I told the rep I was taking my business elsewhere and that I was dissatisfied he acted indignant and didnt even offer an honest apology for his demeanor. I will never use this shop again.

I absolutely love this place. The mechanics are kind and professional, and they even allow you to bring in your own parts and theyll install them for you. They never try to push services on you that you dont need and are very straightforward. Id come here, over any other place.

Saturday, September 14th I had went to get an oil change. They stated that there was a problem with my oil cap that i didn’t believe. I went 8 minutes up the street where my car started to jerk and i wasn’t accelerating in speed.. 3 minutes later my brakes locks up on me and I was not able to stop my vehicle. Im only 18 so i was very scared and didn’t know what to do. I almost hit 3 cars trying to get somewhere safe. If i could give 0 stars i will.. i will NEVER visit this place again.

I went for an inspection and failed because they said I had no brakes. Quoted me 846.09$ to do repairs. I got several other quotes, all about 500$. I chose a place for repairs then went back to precision tune for my inspection. They failed me again. Said I had zero emergency brake and needed to go back to where I had brakes fixed. The manager where I had repairs called precision tune and they told him I failed because diagnostic couldnt connect. That was on the paper but is not what they told me. I feel precision tune tried to take advantage of me being an older female. Needless to say I would strongly recommend that you dont go there for any reason.

Had a great experience at Precision tune. They are new to me. Everyone was very professional and polite. Their prices are competetive but their basic oil change price is excellent. Would I revisit? Yes, lets give it a couple of months, so far so good!

My 1st time visiting. I went in to get one of my tires inspected. There were a lot of customers there when I got there so I thought I would be here all day but to my surprise they were moving everyone along proficiently and organized.

Was able to be seen on the same day I called. Had an alignment and tire balance, then drove car 600 miles. Rides awesome, thanks!

Wait time wasnt too long, customer service was awesome and the price was unbeatable. I had 400 miles to go before my next oil change but I had a trip and I was a little concerned. I called to see if they could just check my oil, they said sure. I got there and waited about 3 minutes. He checked my oil and assured me that I would be ok with the trip I was taking and just to maintain my regular scheduled oil change........no charge for checking my oil. I have had the same car for 7 years and they have been my oil changers for the last 5. I couldnt find my coupon and the staff said if you can pull it up on your phone, we will honor it.....saved me 5$. I love those guys!

I went in for a signature oil change and tire rotation with a engine inspection. They say I have no problem get to Raleigh check engine light,tire pressure light,service engine soon light all pops on my car started running hot and shaking. This is the second time. I only have 110346 miles on my vehicle never any engine problems just had shocks tuneup and back breaks done last month. What did yall do to my car.

Worse experience of my entire life, their lead tech did not fix my car from overheating, he tried twice and both parts he replaced didnt solve anything. The manager Talon refused to answer my questions about the new repairs; then got mad because I called customer care and physically threw my paper work to the side to talk to the people behind me. If I would have known what a horrible place this was I would have never went. I paid their diagnostic fee and labor just to still have an overheating car. Thanks for nothing

We went here and got a oil change,new tires put on and an alignment and they were VERY nice while we were there and did PHENOMENAL work on our truck

Honestly only gave a star because I had to this is where I normally get my car serviced but I’m not going back to this place. They had made a part change for me and apparently the part was defective and they’re gonna tell me that they’re charging me to do a diagnosis.

On March 26th I came in for an oil change and two days later I drove to the mall. When I left the mall my friend called me to inform me that there’s a huge pile of clean oil where I was parked. I then quickly went to the nearest oil service shop. They took me into the pit to show me what was the problem and I saw that the oil plug that was on my car was narrow, it was overlapping and too big to sit flushed on the oil pan, and it was missing a rubber gasket. They then showed me the correct drain plug and I was surely on my way. They were honest and I couldn’t feel about precision auto tune the same way as I did before. I even referred my coworkers to go here and I wished I didn’t if I would had known precision tune auto would do that. So I went to talk to the manager and he said that we didn’t do it and how it was “tampered” with but clearly it wasn’t since it happened two days after and also the blue paint was visible from the pictures I took and that he shrugged his shoulders in denial. I came to him as a professional to address this issue and I was treated as if I was stupid and didn’t know what I was talking about. I really don’t recommend going here and I want a refund since I paid twice for an oil changed from one of your “super qualified trained technicians” that cant even put the right bolt on. Go next door to valvoline to get an honest trust worthy mechanic and you can actually watch them fix/change your car oil instead of waiting in the waiting room trusting some stranger with your car.

The products meet or exceed the requirements of the cars I have serviced. The staff is not only very helpful, kind, friendly, but at the same time knowledgeable about the requirements to keep my cars running at their best. Im especially thankful they sell me what I need without extra add-one that I dont need.

Just sit in your car and when its your turn pull up and enter. They even checked air filter, belts, tires to correct in flation. Let me know my tires and filter should be replaced soon. I knew about the tires and had wondered about the filter.

I am so happy with the employees here, they treated me like family ‼️ Josh answered the phone at closing time and waited for me to get my vehicle to them and supported the issues with my car step by step no matter how long it took, Jason the master tech, Josh, Alex, Brad and Talon treated me like I was the only comstumer there‼️ I’m greatful for the five star costumer service that I received‼️

The staff were excellent. I have been looking for a good shop for a long time and these guys are quite helpful and polite. They also seem to know their stuff so that helps too.
