Pull in the bay tell them what you need done. The people are extremely friendly. They take your information and ask if you are staying to wait. I was so I hade a seat in the waiting area which is very nice with snacks, water, or coffee. I was getting an oil change and in about 30-45 min my vehicle was ready to go. Great customer service and excellent time.

I am not sure how to express into words how “taken care of” my husband, stepdaughter and I felt when buying a vehicle from Deacon Jones Ford of Goldsboro! It truly boils down to the salesman we had Dillon. He is the most laid back, easy going, patient person I believe I have ever come across. Most salespeople make me feel like they really don’t care, they just want to make a sale.Dillon is so far from that. He truly cares about his customers. Instead of making it about the sale, he makes it about the customer. I can say this because Dillon spent several hours with us looking for my stepdaughter a car and then when my husband and I went back to look for us a vehicle, he patiently waited for us to decided exactly what we wanted to do. (It took us about 2 days) Dillon never got impatient with us, he never made us feel like we were wasting his time, he showed true interest in what we were looking for. He made us feel like family.Dillon is also very knowledgeable about the vehicles he is selling. From the engine to the tires, to the parts in the middle, he can answer your questions and explain it in a way that makes sense even to a person that has little knowledge about engines, and things.We then went to finance. Ms. Kirsten is the most upbeat and enthusiastic finance person I believe I have ever come across. She thoroughly explained the warranties to us and wrote it down where it was visibly easy to understand. You could tell that she wanted to offer the best for her customers. She also provided more than one option for the warranties and offered an alternate solution to financing. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with what we were purchasing, and she wanted to make sure that we were happy with the payments.We are super excited with our new car, and we are very appreciative of the service we received from the staff at Deacon Jones Ford in Goldsboro. Everyone made us feel like family! I wish I could give them more stars because they deserve it!!!

Stopped by without an appt. as my switch on the auto gas hatch release broke on my new 2021 F150.. Came in and also asked if they could do an oil change. They got me right in and got both things done in less than an hour. Mid you with no appointment . Nothing was to be found in the tri state area that had what I was looking for. I started searching further south and came across Deacon Jones who had one on the lot with exactly what I needed. My issues have been with the service department. I recently brought my vehicle in to get shocks and struts replaced. I waited at the dealership for 5 hrs while the work was getting done. Afterwards I noticed that my ride wasnt as smooth as I was anticipating. I brought my vehicle back a second time to address the noise and instability that I was having with the car only to be told that the brackets were faulty. The issue I have with theservice department was that they essentially charged me over $900 in labor costs, in 2 weeks time, in order to do the job twice. this is unacceptable and I feel like Im getting my hard earned money and time taken from me. I feel taken advantage of and undervalued as a loyal Ford Customer.

Best costumer service I’ve ever experienced. My husband, 1-year-old daughter, and I had an unexpected issue with our Jeep on a drive back from the beach to Baltimore. Our front driver side break caliper seized and would not release causing the break pads and rotors to wear down and warp. We stopped at 5 different mechanics before calling Deacon Ford and Micheal Ferrel in the service department told us to come in right away and they would see what they could do. After diagnosing the problem, they were able to fix the issue (replace all the front break pads, rotors, and calipers) and we were back on the road in 1 hour. The whole experience was about 1 hour and 45 minutes. While we were waiting Micheal shared their employee break area with us so that our daughter could roam around safely. Then, Robbie (I believe he was the manager) brought us pizza! Every employee that we encountered gave us a warm welcome. We are from Baltimore but, we will definitely make the trip back to Goldsboro when we are in the market for a new vehicle!

We have been loyal customers to Deacon Ford in Goldsboro for the past 10 years. We have dealt with one sales person, Shane Bjorling, who has been fantastic, very professional and very helpful. Through Shane, we have purchased a 2017 Ford F-250 King Ranch, 2018 Ford Expedition, 2018 Ford Escape, 2019 Lincoln Navigator, 2021, 2019 Ford Mustang and a 2020 Ford Edge.All vehicles were bought new off the lot.Additionally, we regularly use Deacon Ford in Goldsboro for all of our Ford servicing.About 7 months ago, we had to bring in the 2020 Edge for a faulty front sensor. After 2 visits where we were told there was no apparent problem, we were finally informed that the sensor was indeed broke and needed replacing. We were also told that this sensor was NOT covered under the warranty, despite the vehicle being just over 8 months old with less than 5000 miles on the clock. The repair estimate was for over $2000 - so we asked to speak to the service manager as we could not understand why it was not covered under the warranty. The vehicle had not been in any accident- the service tech acknowledged that there was no sign of any impact anywhere on the car. The service manager we spoke with was very rude and abrupt. When I asked him for at least a break in the labor charge to replace the sensor he told me “Absolutely not” and when I informed him that we had been loyal customers he replied - “That means nothing…”We complained to Shane who tried to speak to the Dealership manager but we got no help- I paid the repair bill but informed Shane that we would never buy another vehicle from that dealership.Since then, I have in fact purchased a 2021 Jeep Gladiator from Classic Jeep ( the dealership next door ) and 2021 Ford Explorer from a Ford Dealership In Smithfield.Also, our 2019 Lincoln Navigator ( which cost over $90k ) has been in the service shop for a recall issue for 5 weeks now. Again, as with the 2020 Edge, we took the Navigator in to be looked at because it wasn’t running correctly. We were told twice they could find no problem before we insisted on the 3rd visit they find out what was going on, they discovered it was not driving properly and that it needed to be worked on. We were told 5 weeks ago it would take about 2-3 weeks- as of today, we have been informed that it hasn’t been looked at yet- which is totally unacceptable!!In my business I have to buy new vehicles on a regular basis. We usually purchase 2-3 new vehicle a year. I will never buy another vehicle from Deacon Jones Ford in Goldsboro. I only deal with them now because we bought the Navigator from them in the first place. In fact, because of my experience with that dealership, I have actually started to lean toward GMC/Jeep or Chevrolet trucks and will be trading in the Navigator within 12 months for a 2022 Tahoe.Again, I wish to stress, the salesman we dealt with, Mr Shane Bjorling had always been very professional and has tried to help, but it appears the upper management at that dealership just don’t care about their customers, even their repeat loyal customers.

I recently bought an “almost” new 2018 Ford Escape. I paid a little more than I wanted. However, I did get a very reasonable price compared to the Kelly Blue Book value and similar vehicles for sale in the area. And they gave me the CPO (certified pre-owned) status for ½ the “regular” price. Before I visited, I did some online research on small SUVs and saw this red Escape. When I first showed up to look at it, the vehicle was “missing.” Basically, somebody had parked it in a different spot. The building is very clean and spacious. After a few minutes, I was looking at the Escape and test drove it with the sales person. My sales person, Bergen, was very friendly and helpful. She answered every question and if she didn’t know something, she would ask somebody else. After talking, I realized that she used to work at the Vet office that I take my dogs to! After the test drive the “manager” talked to me. I told him that I would need to think about this for little while because this is a lot of money to be spending. Without being pushy, he handed me the keys and told me to enjoy for the Escape for the afternoon. I took my dogs to the park. They enjoyed the ride. Of course, I totally enjoyed the Escape. So, I ended up buying it. They cleaned it, finished the CPO inspection, filled it with gas and completed all the paperwork in the same day. I paid a higher interest rate than I wanted. But the finance guy recommended that I wait a couple of months and just refinance with my bank if they give me cheaper rates. He talked me into paying extra to extend the CPO warranty without clearly explaining the cost. (my only minor complaint). I can cancel it, if I desire though. Bottom line is I definitely recommend buying a new/ used vehicle from Deacon Jones! 😎

A Fluid Leak was detected during my regular Service. It was brought to my attention, quoted a price for parts and labor and the part was ordered by special order. They called me and scheduled a repair date and time within 2 days of my original service date. The work was performed as quoted and the price actually was a few dollars less than quoted!! I came into Deacon Jones Ford in Goldsboro when my 2017 Ford Fusion would not go into drive. I would turn the gear shifter to drive and it would have a shift fault error and automatically return the car to park. They knew I was having these troubles as I explained such to the service center employees. Even though this trouble conveniently happened after we hit 60,188 miles 😅 and they informed me my warranty had expired. So I left them with my car and went to teach 2nd grade. I get a call an hour later saying they can’t fix the transmission because the car had fleas, ticks and spiders inside my car. (Or you brought them into my car?) They refused to do the work so I took my car to be cleaned. (Beware the granola spider!)My car proceeded to break down in the busy line at abc car wash and I couldn’t get it back in drive to get it back to the lot.Next on my fun adventure was getting my car towed BACK to deacon jones Ford an hour and a half later to finally get the transmission fixed. The service members were unkind to say the least. We won’t be buying or servicing our car with Ford again.Thank you service for losing loyal Ford customers!

I needed an oil change, called for an appointment, and was told to come in on my schedule. Next morning, I was first at 7 am. The diagnostic tool buried in the entrance showed an alignment problem which I approved a repair of with a comprehensive alignment. I asked for resolution of a door lock recall while they were at it.All was resolved, as requested, in less than 2 hours and at a reasonable price. The waiting room had Wi-Fi and 2 public computers so I could do some research on a DIY project/I would do it again and send others if appropriate .

Bought a F 150 from them and was a great truck until 3 weeks later when I started hearing a noise coming from the engine. It was my timing chain and the guides they said. So I guess the service department tried to hide the noise because after I got the truck back it made the same noise. So I hade to drop the truck of again to get it fixed but as soon as I gotten the truck back it made to same noise again. I had to take my truck to the service department 6 times in under 2 months. I’m glad everything is under warranty because I know I probably would have been paying almost 3,000 for whatever work they were doing to my truck. Hopefully they’ve fixed the problem this time because if not I will be looking other alternative.Sales team great. Service department not so great.

Great, professional, and fast service! This was actually the first dealership to find my extended warranty on file. Most Deacon and Lee dealerships say that cannot find it, and charge me. Then a month or so later I will eventually get reimbursed. Nice amenities and quick Wi-Fi! Will definitely be my new Service Shop!

She was very knowledgable about all the features and spent time showing us how each worked, and getting it set up to our liking. I purchased a car 100% virtually. The entire process was very smooth and transparent. My salesperson Jordan Coates was very professional and prompt with his communications. They were able to get me a lower rate than my local Credit union and arranged competitive shipping on my vehicle. The car arrived as scheduled and everything was perfect. My only complaint is there their internet sales team. Since my first interaction was through the 3rd party website (Cars dot com) they repeatedly called every day during the process to see if they could help me. Even though I informed them I was already being taken care of and to stop with the inquiries. This started to become disruptive, but understand Deacon Jones has hired a 3rd party firm to process these request. Definitely a gap in that system, but overall I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I bought a used (non-Ford) vehicle from Deacon Jones about a month ago. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt that the service department just missed these issues, but Im dealing with thousands of dollars in suspension repairs to date. The only resolutions offered were that I can pay for the repairs myself at the in house rate of $3900, or give my vehicle back as a trade in for $3000 less than I paid for it a week earlier. One reason people buy from reputable dealers is the assumption that the vehicle is inspected and in good condition before being sold, but this has been a real disappointment.

I had overall a good experience. What would have made it better or like I was treated like family was to have the truck serviced before buying. The very next day there was a notification that the fuel filter had to be replaced/serviced.

Called them to replace a tire with a nail which they didn’t have in stock but they got it in the same day. They called me and I was able to come on out and get it fixed the same day and it took less than 30 mins plus they patched my other tire and gave that to me as well to hold on to just in case anything like this happens again. I appreciate you Deacon Jones Ford!!
