After we went to see the car the first time we noticed that the radio didnt work. After going to many dealerships and auto traders/dealers/websites and finding myself in Golden Valley at this smaller, family owned business was a breath of fresh air. I left other dealerships feeling uncomfortable, overwhelmed and completely intimidated - this however, was the complete opposite of my experience with Minnesota Auto Sales with Mr. Ken Babin. He was a complete and utter gentleman, he was knowledgeable but never pushy or intimidating. It created a safe place for me to feel comfortable to ask all the questions and get all the answers but this was all very equally balanced by Mr. Babin’s ability to read the situation and know when we needed private time to discuss.This was an experience that was nothing short of perfection - I will be recommending Mr. Babin and his business to all my friends and family. I had been looking to sell an old police interceptor of mine. This vehicle was in wonderful condition and fairly new. I brought it to several dealerships and they told me the car was not worth anything on the market. They offered me close to nothing for the vehicle. Finally, I brought it to Minnesota Auto Sales. The owner offered me almost four times what the other dealerships offered me and was happy to take it off my hands. This was the best experience I have ever had with selling a vehicle to a dealership. I would recommend this business to anyone and I hope this helps guide anyone who is stuck in the same position I was.

I definitely would not recommend them to anyone I bought a GMC Yukon hybrid from here and since I have bought it I’ve been having problems and at first every things was good he spoke highly of the truck saying how great of a condition it was in and how it’ll be perfect for me and what I had going on ( like every one who wants to make a sale) I test drive it and take it somewhere to get a inspection on it they said everything looks good far as the under carriage and there was no check engine light on no oil leaking everything looked ok I decided to buy the car literally 3 days later check engine come on for a list of problems I get the car checked and they tell me the things that are wrong been wrong it’s impossible for these to happen in 3 days he told me who ever sold me the car cleared the check engine light so it wouldn’t show up when inspected so I call the guy who sold me the car and the whole story change as now it’s well it’s a a 11 year old car there going to be problems and basically it’s nothing he can do those are my problems now we went back in fourth about it because honestly that’s wrong to sell someone a car in those conditions (I mean I did spend 10k) and I didn’t want the truck anymore of course he didn’t want it back and there was nothing I could do legally to get my money back so I Was stuck with it in six months of having the car I’ve had to put thousands into it and the front differential just went out this week I definitely felt cheated and lied to after doing business and that’s sad to say because the guy he bought the business from was honestly great he had a back bone and integrity he was completely honest about the truck I bought there before he owned it and that’s the only reason I went back but to find it was run by a new owner literally a mistake I will not make again. ( I know I’m late writing this review but hey I had to say something I’ve not had a solid two month with this truck since having it I stay putting thousands into it and this last thing going wrong on just made me realize that I should have been said something ) hopefully this helps someone

My son and I came here to check out a car and ended up taking it home the next day. 12 hours later he tells me the car is making a noise it shouldnt be making. Dealer told him to have it inspected and then call him back with whats wrong with the vehicle. The repair shop tried all week to contact Ken about the condition of the car but with had no success.The shop ended up telling us that the car needed a new engine because there was a glitter show in the oil. From what my son tells me, Ken has been uncooperative about the whole situation because the car was sold with no warranty. The repair shop informed us the the problem was likey something that was most likey present before the vehicle was bought. A car shouldnt need a new engine after driving less then 100 miles off the dealer Lott.

Ken was professional and polite, not pushy like your average car salesman. My VW Passat TDI was very clean, and runs like a charm. There were a couple small things that I needed to fix myself, but nothing at all major or expensive. Ken was very patient as I was a first time buyer and even met me after business hours to complete the sale. Thanks Ken! Hope all is well.

Purchased a Volvo XC60, that I must say is absolutely gorgeous. Ken was very kind, professional, flexible, and genuinely seemed like he wanted to do everything in his power to make this purchase happen for us (i.e. helping us think of what our best loan option would be). Purchased a Lexus is250 with the thermostat claiming to be replaced because we noticed that the heater was not working. Ken recommended us to a mechanic at Big o Tires for a “free inspection” only to find out I had to pay for it and that it wasn’t just the heater that was broken. The cooling system in the engine was leaking and the head gasket was busted. Also called up the warranty company to see if they can repair the head gasket. Customer service from there was terrible and kept acting as if I was the reason the car was broken (even though I literally only drove it less than 24 hours after purchasing). In the end we decided to purchase a new engine and basically replace everything in the car with money I don’t even have, but hey, if you want to purchase a car from this place, INSPECT EVERYTHING IN THE ENGINE AND VEHICLE AND IF YOU HAVE A MECHANIC YOU KNOW, HAVE THEM INSPECT IT TO SEE IF THE CAR IS WORTH THE OVERPRICED AMOUNT HE IS SELLING. My Lexus drives perfectly fine now but please don’t waste your time here except if you want to get ripped off.

Bought a car from them. Everything looked and sounded good. Then a week later multiple codes come up of part failures. I could see maybe one or maybe 2 but 3 almost at the same time thats unlikely. The help that was offered after was that they could put me in touch with a mechanic. I had just spent 10 grand wasnt about to pay another 4,500 to have timing chains replaced. Dont waste your time.

I had an amazing experience with Ken. I first looked at a Land Rover they had (which was gorgeous) but I needed a vehicle that had a 3rd row seat. Ken understood and just a week in a half later, I saw a GMC Acadia he was selling and I instantly texted him and he name a time to come look at it. I went and looked at it around 7pm after work. I test drove it and I LOVED it. Ken is a VERY personable person who does NOT hassle or pressure you into buying vehicles.
