I have been going there for over 2 years now for oil change, brakes & other break down. I find their services reliable and reasonable. They don’t push unwanted maintenance.

Ken and Eddie were great! They offer some of the best prices in town and I will keep coming back for any car services I need done. They gave us an excellent deal on getting our brakes swapped out and made sure everything was okay. Awesome service and great people!

Although a bit hard to find, the folks at Star Auto were great! I went in for a battery replacement on my 2011 BMW 335i and the owner Ken came out to greet me as I pulled up to the store. The mechanic, Ed, was friendly and he took care of the battery in no time with no issues. Neither Ed, nor Ken tried to rip me off, they didnt try to pressure me into any other services and thats why I felt like customer service was important to Star Auto. The prices were actually quite fair. After getting a few quotes from a few other mechanics, Star Auto was offering a better price for the service and they seemed like a local, family-run business so I figured Id give it a shot...I was not disappointed!Ken was very courteous and asked if I found everything okay, which I did. After paying for my service, as I was leaving, I briefly mentioned that my car had given me a warning that I was low on engine oil and to top it off. I was headed to the store to buy a quart of oil for the top off but Ed was like hold on a minute, he walked to the back and pulled out a qt of engine oil and topped off my oil for free!Experiences like this are what make Star Auto a great shop to work with. This level of customer service is something that you would never receive from a larger shop that is focused on penny-pinching. Larger shops that churn out mechanics and customers lose the human-touch of a smaller family-run business. The vibe I get from Star Auto is that excellent customer service is at the forefront of their business and I suspect that by providing an exceptional customer service experience, customers will organically grow.

Star auto was a really great experience. Everyone there was super helpful and nice. They had amazing customer service. This was my third time going to the shop and have recommended to all my family and friends. It’s also the cheapest oil change I have gotten in a while. Easily the best shop in the area.

Ken was great! I had 2 bad tires. On one the tire sensor pop out of my tire and the other tire caught a flat. He fixed the sensor and gave my a brand new tire under $150 within 40 minutes. Him and his team are great! Please don’t hesitate to do service with them.

Superior quality, honest, reasonably priced auto care. Outstanding, friendly customer service. You cant find better mechanics than Ken and Eddie. Star Auto is the kind of reliable, neighborhood auto shop from my dads era.

Awesome job by these guys. I highly recommend to anybody in the area. The mechanics are careful and detail-oriented, and explain all procedures and processes to you. Other than the services I needed, they didnt recommend expensive repairs like some shady mechanics, and were courteous and respectful the entire time. Thank you again.

Amazing service! I called them right before the were about to close the evening before, they go me in first thing in the morning. I had just bought a used car, knowing it would need some work. They were kind, professional, fair, and able to get the parts I needed that same day and do the job. I’ve had similar work done before on a previous vehicle (tire rod, control arm...) and the price I was charged after labor and parts was almost half the cost! I highly recommend!

One of the best repair shops in Glenview if you ask me, every time I visit them to get work done on my car they are trying to save me money which is very difficult to find in repair shops these days. I have been there several times and its always been a positive experience they are very quick with getting the work done and even offer a loaner car if you need one.

This auto shop is very reasonable in price. First auto shop I went to before I came here were charging me very high price for a job, these guys charged much less. These guys are they friendly so I highly recommend others to go there for their Auto work.
