Not very customer focused, very arrogant. Their quote was double any other body shop, based on 2 other quotes. Not really a shop I would like to go to, more interested in the insurance I had.
Did a professional job on a difficult paint color match. Thats what its all about
The body work was done well and don’t have complaints with that. The only problem I had is that when we got it back that the automatic window switch didn’t work and the auto unlock which my husband seemed to fix himself . They said they would contact the Toyota dealer since they said that they couldn’t fix it and it was not their problem when it worked prior. And we didn’t hear back from them for 6 months not even related to the window getting fixed. The guy kept making excuses that oh you said it was fine when we did not. If something worked and now it does not I want it fixed. The guy was so rude and talking down to me probably because I am a woman and I didn’t know what I was talking about when that’s not the case! I will never go back there because of him and because their lack of communication. They say they will call you back by the end of the day and then 2 days later you get a call. Not very efficient when you want it fixed 6 months prior.
Ive taken my BMW X4 to Glenview Auto Body twice for extensive collision repairs. Dennis and the entire team were very professional, exhibited extraordinary attention to detail, worked diligently with my insurance companys representatives and also convinced them to pay only for genuine parts when they originally didnt want to. Both of my collision repair jobs were completed perfectly in accordance with certified BMW standards, and also approved by Fields BMW. The Glenview Auto Body Team takes an enormous amount of pride in their work, and I am very grateful that I took my business to them. I highly recommend Glenview Auto Body for all of your body repair needs!
Very good job done, my cars body needed an update . They fixed my car quick and proffesionally not to mention my car was impeccable and smelled fresh once I picked it up fresh from the shop.
Great work! They take the time to make sure everything is done according to manufactures specifications . I prefer quality work over a fast repair . My car is always clean and repaired properly ask for Tom or Tim
I brought my car to Glenview Auto Body after running over a spare tire on I94. My car had damage to the engine cradle along with body damage. I was amazed to get my car back in about 2 weeks & that was over the Christmas holiday. Also the repair was as good as new & my car was spotless clean inside & out. Very happy with the work. Highly recommend.
Professional and straight forward team
I am very disappointed at this place. I regret letting my car fixed at there. It takes almost two months to fix a simple body repair work. Imagine I had to live without a car for two months during busy year ending holiday season. I felt it seemed forever! First of all they dont know how to communicate with their customers properly and secondly they are NOT Professional on the current electronics built into the cars. I never got reply phone calls to my messages left on their answering services. I had to call them again and again to check whether the car was fixed or not on the promised date. They failed three times to meet the due dates. Even when I called to get the updates on the car, I had to listen to hear so many excuses for the delay, such as sick workers, parts back-ordered, electronic modules not working properly due to factory resetting required, too complicate to fix, and on and on...I would never leave a bad review if they called at least once or twice in advance to share some updates on the status and expressed some apologies for the delay to cause inconveniences but they did not!I hope this review can convey some messages for them to realize and to improve their services to other future customers, so I can see some happy customers feedback in the future! From a Very unsatisfied customer!PS:Today I received a phone call from the owner of the business, Jerry. Thank you for your kind explanation. I greatly appreciate it. Hope you have more happy customers than unhappy ones.I would be happy to change the review feedback rate from one to four stars this time. Keep the customers happy, Cheers!
Every time I need body work, major or minor, Glenview Auto Body is my choice. Ive owned everything from Buicks, to Expeditions, to BMWs, and the work done by the crew at GAB is excellent. Tim Ipjian and Dennis are both excellent estimator and work diligently with insurance companies to make the repairs proper. Finish work is outstanding. They are also a BMW-certified repair shop. Work can be slow, and it always seems to take longer than they estimate, but the outcome is worth the wait. As long as I live in the Chicago area, I will not take a vehicle anywhere else for collision repair.
This place does not deserve a star but it’s required to leave a comment so here is my message to you the uniformed reader.STAY AWAY THE PLACE IS A JOKE !
I took my car into glenview auto body based on the fact that they are down the street from my work and they did the body work on a fleet account we maintain. My vehicle is a saturn sky (very unique vehicle) the right door and the quarter panel had to be replaced. Time estimated was 3 weeks... ended up being over a month. (6 weeks) When I got my car back, the interior was covered in sanding dust, the trunk didnt close right (which than they told me they dont get paid to align it, even though they had to remove it) the rear lights didnt work, the taillight housings werent even bolted down (screws were missing), the trunk leaks water still to this day. The door doesnt shut correctly, the window doesnt roll all the way up when the door is closed because of an alignment issue. There was a rattle in the door, when I opened the door panel, I saw that there were missing nuts and bolts and the wiring for the speakers and the window motor were all butchered up. And lastly the front left fender was missing a bolt. (Which I was told did not come out, but its a lie because the fender over laps the quarterpanel which was replaced) I noticed all of these issue because I am a certified technician and know my car inside and out. I feel bad for all the cars that go in and out of there with terrible quality and the owners handing over their hard earned money without knowing how terrible of a service they are receiving. I cant believe they are still in business...
I am a perfectionist and thats the type of work they do. They are not the least expensive but they do excellent work.
Not a place to repair your car, rude estimater
