I love shopping at Luke! Its definitely a privilege if you are on active military duty, retired military, or eligible spouse of military.In the exchange there are multiple businesses and the exchange itself is similar to a single store with the contents of a mini mall. Its got the level of Macys, including skin care, makeup, fragrance, fine jewelry, appliances, home items... Pretty much everything you need right here.Its on base so its not available for anyone without id to get on Base.

I love the store every time I visit my brother I am have to make a point to buy something Air Force.

I purchased a special order shotgun for my son, and 4 days later I received notification that it was ready for pickup. Luke is pretty distant from where I live but I drove out to begin the paperwork process. I fully anticipated that I would get a delayed release as it has happened before. 3 days later I received an email saying again that my purchase was ready for pick up. I once again drove all the way out only to be told again that my documentation had not cleared, so it was a wasted trip.In each of these encounters I was always treated with a bit of disdain, but I have pretty thick skin so i didnt make a fuss about it. Still, I felt it kind of unfortunate that being a retired Marine I would encounter this kind of attitude at a military installation. I was with my 5yo daughter and our next stop was to register her for kindergarten. It wasnt until quite a while after we left that I realized the counter person did not return my retired ID not my drivers license. Its my fault that I forgot to ask that it be returned, but at some point he must have realized that it was still in their possession. They have all my contact info but there has been no effort made. I cant return because I no longer have identification. And since he knew the transaction was not going to be completed, why didnt he bring it back to me. Again, yeah, I get that it was my error in leaving without my ID, but I find it a difficult stretch that there has been no one aware that my identification was still there.

The clothing and jewelry in the aisles are pricing. It would be nice if the exchange didn’t do this to service members, especially those who just enter and don’t have transportation and have to frequent the store due to proximity.No tax but it feels like the tax is hidden in the prices already.Side note: There are some very decent guns on display which are affordable and payment plans can be put on guns which cost over $600+.

Excellent place for Active and Retired Military to shop and spend time looking for those comfort items Veterans always have in mind. I enjoyed stationed Personnel attitudes and respect that doesnt happen in Civilian Malls, and shopping centers. Not always the cheapest place to shop, however the feeling of security might be worth the extra dollar. Semper Fidelis!!

Cool finds in this place. My son found so many items to buy. We literally spent over an hour in this store while he carefully looked through each of the bins, shelves and boxes. He was in heaven. I actually found a few rare and never seen before finds 😋

The base facilities are always very clean and have great layouts.

Good selections and variety for a stateside AAFES Exchange. Conveniently located next to the Commissary. Food court doesnt have much to offer, but still has some good options.

Took forever to pickup firearm from base exchange. I will never purchase here again.

Its about 40 miles (round trip) for me to visit Luke AFB (usually, specifically, to buy a high ticket item and avoid sales tax). When I DO make the trip, the people at the BX are nearly all kind, patient, helpful, and they DO make it worth the effort.

Shopping at the Exchange is always awesome. As a disabled combat veteran I feel totally safe and less crowds.

Knowing where all the products are and how much the better the store looks since renovation.

Clean, not very busy and prices are great! We love coming here since it is the only military exchange nearby and we love all the great deals and excellent customer service!

Very disappointed in the black Friday shopping today. I havent been to a store to black Friday shop in years. I decided the $199 price on a previous gen iPad was worth it today. I waited in line for over an hour to grab one, even confirmed with a clerk that they did indeed have them in stock still. She said they still had many. Got to the counter and Oops just sold my last one. They had the $429 version still available though. No thanks. Why would you not hand out tickets for the amount you have available or immediately inform everyone in line once theyre sold out? Simple fix so peoples time isnt entirely wasted. Very disappointing.& if youre used to shopping at base exchanges this one is on the smaller side with not the biggest selection, small food court as well.

Look I come here for popeyes and basically the food court always good, fresh, and clean. better than anything off base in that same category.

Pretty weeeeeirdddd experience. I wont name call her, but my boyfriend was checking out, and paying with a $2 bill. The employee had never heard of a $2 bill. She accused him of counterfeit, calling her manager over, and blatantly stating that he was trying to use counterfeit money. The manager cleared it up, but he left without an apology from her.

My wife and I love shopping at the Maine Exchange. Everything is always So Fresh, So new and reasonably priced and they take things back that are there without the tag.

Prices are good and the selection is bigger than other exchanges I have been to. The only complaint I have is the same complaint I have with all exchanges. They need more cashiers in the evenings.

Ive been shopping on and off at this exchange since 86. I really wanted to give it more stars, but I cant. This place has a huge potential to be much more. I cant determine if theyre tied to certain products, or management simply isnt dialed in enough to realize that at least half of the items they have are not selling.They have clothing and other goods that have been there for years. Literally. Although there are a few deals to be had if youre a frugal shopper. Id be willing to pay more than amazon prices if they simply had decent products. Most of the store employees are excellent though.Id love to have a management job there. It would actually be fun to help make it a better shopping environment.This place wouldnt make it as a commercial entity.

I really feel the military exchange is obsolete stateside. Pricey compared to outside stores. Good quality items but less choices. Convenient if you live on a base but I was there for an hour and bought nothing instead buying at commissary

Outstanding place

One of the better Exchanges Ive been to. Prices are a bit lower than retail. The store is clean when though the building is old and could use a nice new coat of paint. the thing I like most about this location is that they do offer a firearms section with a nice selection in the store, most exchanges dont offer this.

The Luke Main Exchange was okay, many of the smaller stores were closed because it was Black Friday. The large department store had a good selection of products, but I think Costcos prices are just as good if not better. The employees were very helpful and friendly.

They have improved 👏 by remodeling and more options like 👍the civilians. Prices are great.

If you are in military but not in air force don’t worry they can help you with everything. Very nice people and very nice place even during this pandemic.

Old habits die hard. After being a military wife for 22 years, going back to the base for shopping is just ...well it feels good. Cant complain about the BX, but the commissary is where I really like to go. I shouldnt be surprised, but I always am, how much cheaper the commissary is than the local grocery stores.

Pretty cool, 1st time on a base in about 45 years. Going thru the gate went easy, make sure you have your ID in order. Shopped at the BX, all went well. Prices were like going to Kohls or Walmart, but pay no tax.

It is a nice facility, it is currently undergoing renovations so be prepared for a little dust.

Getting in and out is pretty quick. Prices are great for most items like big purchase or gifts. Their return policy is good. No hassle so far. Its organized but I always have a hard time finding specific items/variety.

First time ever to visit with my husband, very interesting to see a really military base. Everyone there was very kind and polite. Prices are about the same as a civilian shopping center. It was a nice visit.

The staff was very helpful, when I couldnt find an item. The store is under a remodel so its in a little disarray.

Nice small exchange and commissary. Its Arizona so super hot outside but AC inside is nice and cool. Staff are friendly as well.

Never been before so very neat to visit. As Im not military, must be with someone who was/is in military. Must register at visitors center with photo ID and have background check before they allow you to enter. You see TopGun jets and exchange (department stores in with everything u need) commissary (grocery store, fast food restaurants) roadways are very clean, people are all very nice, respectful and considerate. Must visit.
