We came into this dealer being from out of town and it took them several (8) hours (which should of took 2) to do a repair and in the end wasnt even done correct. The mechanic put the part on backwards and we had to have the same repair done again plus more because it caused damage to the car. The service manager claimed he would provide refund on part of the cost and we have yet to see any of that back (month later and no returned calls). So paid over $3000 out of pocket for a repair that should of been done correctly the first time and cost only about $1000. Very dissatisfied with this line of service. We will not be buying from Ford again in future.
When I called to set up an appointment for a check engine light they told me they were not booked up and I can select anytime I want so I drive all the way from Santa Monica to be there when they open, after waiting in line for an hour they tell me it will take 2 or 3 days before the mechanic will even look at it because they are backed up. I asked why no one called me to reschedule and they said it’s because they are under staffed. Terrible service and I would not recommend to anyone.
Nice, courteous staff, pretty simple as far as buying a car is concerned. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 is because I was thirsty and they didnt have any water to give. Other than that, no complaints.
I came in for a recall without appointment.The service was above expectation! My interactions with my advisor Seta and Service Director Manny gave me a feeling of trust I have not found in other service departments. This is now my service go-to, even though I am an hour and a half to two hours away.
I had an excellent experience with John Sison at Star Ford. I visited 3 times before deciding I wanted to buy the Ford Escape Titanium. I really appreciated that every time I went I was able to test drive that car. John was always helpful and never pushy. My husband and I originally did not want to spend that much for a car, but John helped us to see that the features of the car were worth the extra money. After buying the car, John told me to come back any time if I ever needed any help with the car. It has all the new fancy equipment and I may have to take him up on that offer. Thank you John for your lovely service. I love my new car!!!
I took my car in and they said it would be ready in 2 hours turned into 4 days and got charged way more then Quoted and to top it off I got my car back with huge dent in it and they are refusing to fix it .. at this point I need to take legal action.. worst experience everrrrr
Was quoted $2100 to replace a $500 part. Yeah NO.Its $200 to LOOK at any one thing. If you bring your car in and ask them to look at 3 specific things you are out $600. I just cant bring myself to throw money away. Other shops ARE cheaper.

With an apparent two more locations,with in blocks. 9 to 5pm hours so dont expect anything out of regular business hours. Restrooms are clean and sanitary. Water is plenty, vending and complimentary. Seating is good. Communication is good before you buy. After that, getting to the right person is like having to deal with a elderly person with the mind of a 15 year old. Do not purchase cilajet! Research, and youll know why. The mark up on cars here are about 1500 on sticker. Over all, three. For the amenities.

I called STAR FORD to see if the dealership had any Mustang Mach-Es in stock. Mark Aghili answered and said that they did have some in stock. I asked which colors and type and he provided me the information. From the minute we arrived at the dealership Mark was helpful and friendly. He went over the details of the car and the different models, encouraging me to test drive them all. I loved 2 of the cars, but was not 100% on which one I wanted. Mark was very patient and did not try to pressure me into deciding immediately. I told him there was another dealership that had a different color I wanted to look and and if I decide on one of the 2 they had I would be back. I called Mark the next day and told him I wanted to look at the 2 models again. I went back 100 time on which on I wanted and Mark was very supportive. I finally made my decision and he helped make the process of actually purchasing the car very easy! I totally recommend any one interested in a Ford to see Mark at STAR FORD!
I really appreciated the low key sales experience here. It was very different, and much improved, on previous car buying experiences. Buying a car can be a stressful experience even without the high pressure sales tactics Ive experienced before. Here, they gave me time to process all the information in my own way, set a fair price, and didnt try to force a lot of optional service contacts on me. The salesman, Mark, really took care of me throughout the whole process. The finance guy, Freddy, was about as chill as Ive ever seen in any job let alone a finance position at a car dealer. I would refer my family here - it was a very positive experience.
I had a wonderful experience at Star Ford this past weekend. From the very first phone call I received after I showed interest on AutoTrader.com, to being congratulated as I drove away in my new car, every moment was great. Everyone made sure we were comfortable, no one tried to pitch to us like a salesman. We had respectful conversations while trying to figure out what worked best for me. Believe it or not, there was even a lot of laughter! This is my first time buying a car from a dealership so it was a big deal for me. I was nervous and honestly did not expect a great experience. We were in and out of there in 2.5 hours with my dream car. I highly recommend going to Star Ford!

I had conducted research for approximately 3 weeks before purchasing my 2020 Ford F-150 from Star Ford. Star Ford was probably one of the easiest and most polite sales people out of approximately 10 dealerships that I had experience with. They were more than willing to negotiate to close the deal. I also had a trade in which was nearly what I was hoping for but not too far off the target. When arriving at the dealership, everyone was very welcoming, polite and down to earth. Before leaving the lot, I was assisted in synchronizing my phone to the truck and explained about all the other functions of the electronics. I was truly pleased with my time and experience at Star Ford and will be strongly recommending them to a couple of other friends who are seeking to buy Ford trucks. Two thumbs up. 👍👍
I made an appointment for a service check told them I’d be waiting with my car they said no problem. Arrived early was told was told they are running behind by 1.5 hours. Once my car was checked in the Service manager told me they won’t have time to look at my car for 3 days . He couldn’t provide any explanation as to why they allowed me to make an appointment if they knew they were so busy they couldn’t handle the work. He also tells me some cars have been there for weeks and months and likely mine will fall under the same category. Horrible business practice customer service means nothing without results!!!

Came in a year ago for a latch recall on a 2012 Ford Fiesta. It’s been a year. I am still waiting to hear if my vehicle qualifies after several follow-ups.
Service department couldnt be bothered to let me know the part needed for a recall repair on my Explorer was on backorder for months BEFORE showing up for appointment.

Nothing but poor service, I made an appt. on Friday to take my truck in on Monday at 8:30. They did not give me their Diesel technician but an un educated woman service advisor. A simple brake job that I was told would be a one half day job took them two days. At 2:00 pm on Monday, I received a call that they did not have the pads and they would have to order them, This is not acceptable. After complaining They said they would pick them up from another dealer in the morning and the truck would be ready by 1:00 pm Tuesday. At 2:00 PM on Tuesday I called and ask if the truck was ready, their response was they didnt know, the technician was working on another car. This means for two days they took other vehicles before mine and kept my service truck so I did not have transportation nor the ability to work for two days. With no apologies not discounts of any kind the antifreeze change and front brake job came to a whopping $ 887.00. Only $183.00 for parts BUT $684.00 for labor. They will never service my vehicles again, They lost a VALUED CUSTOMER This is what happens when they become to busy and will not add additional mechanics to properly take care of the customers who line their pockets. At this rate the hourly rate is OVER $ 100.00 per hour for labor. BYE BYE Star ford.
Star Lincoln Fords mechanic did a fantastic job and worked with the extended warrantee company without issue. The customer liaison, Seta, is fantastic! Love working with her. She set me up with a loaner vehicle at no cost, which allowed no stress in the time it took for the repairs. Prompt updates and replies when we communicated. I was checked in efficiently for my cars first service. It only took about 40 minutes and they were done. Best of all it was only $79! I was pleasantly surprised. I was hoping they might have the new Mustang to look at but I guess not yet.
I bin doing service to my f150 but my last visit they recomend to do transmission and back brakes and coolant flush they took 6 hours and they break my mirror they dont tell me that I complaint and they said that they were going to call me reno never call and I call went they did my mirror I see my radiator hose s were smash the did not put coolant fluids and I was running my truck I ask reno whats was the problem with the hoses and he said to me that my water pump was damage and I ask him if I cut drive my truck like that and he said yes

0/5 stars; it was a total nightmare working with this dealer. It took 4 appointments for them to complete one recall because they kept making mistakes which required me to keep coming back for them to correct. As if that was not frustrating enough, they also cracked two of my door panels in the process so they had me come back for a 5th time so that they can have them fixed. Came back and sat there for 3 hours just for them to give me my car back with literally no changes — door panels are still cracked and arguably worse off now because there is some new imperfections on them now that werent there when I handed them the keys. Ill never be back here and do not recommend anyone coming here.
It was a pretty good experience. I think dealerships are pretty insane with their pricing, but I have a hybrid Ford Escape and no mechanic wants to deal with hybrid Ford vehicles, so I had to go to the dealership.They seemed to have fixed everything, but my biggest issue and the reason this gets 2 stars is because when they called me to quote me the exact price for fixing everything they said 850 with all parts and labor included. The guy I dealt with assured me it would be that. Then when I got there to pick up my vehicle and paid for everything it was just under $1,000. The guy’s name I dealt with the entire time was Erik.So overall I did not have a great experience because I do not like getting swindled out of more money and that just what dealerships do.

We are looking to replace a tire and we don’t have the master lock.Jose stated they need $100 to stop their techs and have them go and JUST SEARCH if they even have a master lock for it.At the same time Jose is telling us he’s too busy making money and we can leave the car for a few days TO TAKE A WHEEL LOCK OFF.
I have a 2013 Flex bought new sat Star Ford. Ive had it serviced at the dealership ever since. Usually my experience has been good. This last time was a nightmare. The car battery had leaked acid. I was told that I could bring it in and have the battery replaced while I waited. Well that didnt happen. They had the battery in stock, but the acid had damaged the battery connector. They didnt have the connector in stock, and wouldnt have it until the next day. I asked for a ride home (it was 98F outside). Didnt get it. Didnt get notified when the job was done the next day. Went to the dealership in the afternoon to get the car. Cashier couldnt find my paperwork. I hadnt been given any when I brought the car in since it was supposed to be a simple replace the battery. Had to talk to a manager. Paperwork is now kept with the service writer who wrote me up. With the Covid 19 masks on, its hard to identify the masked gentleman who was the service writer. Finally after about half an hour they found the writer, the paperwork and my car. Parts were about $200--labor was $300. Kind of high to replace a battery, and there was no explanation of the hourly rate or the time it took. Lets just say that in these virus laden times communication is not the strong suit of Statrs service department. Theyve been better in the past than they are today. .
Made my appointment on line, when I showed up I was greeted quickly, because of covid-19 I was asked to stay in my car, in less than 5 minutes my information was verified and my car was taken into the shop and finished within 20 minutes. Excellent service.

Every experience I’ve had here has been somehow better than the last. I’ve come to Star Ford for several routine services and one or two small problems with the car, and each and every time they’ve gone above and beyond. I’ve had 3 service advisors here, Danielle, Jose, and Jorge, and each one has not only been friendly, but incredibly helpful, honest, and understanding. On top of that, the techs have always been able to fix whatever issue is going on and keep everything running like new, and they never try to charge for stuff you don’t need or anything like that (They’ve even gone so far as to waive a diagnostic fee in the past fully of their own accord). I seriously cannot recommend this place enough, their management has proven time and time again that they genuinely value you as a customer and care about keeping your car in great shape. This is the only place I’ll go and I recommend it to anyone and everyone

Its one bad experience after another at this Ford location which unfortunately happens to be the nearest to my residence. This time around, I took my car for service and a battery/engine check since the car would not turn on at all for three straight days. When it did finally turn on, the engine light would come on as well and made really loud noises (I have a hybrid, the engine is usually very quiet).I made an appointment through their website where I provided a detailed explanation on these issues and clearly indicated everything I needed done during this check. I woke up very early Saturday morning to make my appointment in time (if the car wouldnt turn on again, I would need to call AAA to tow it there) and yet when I arrived I was told they couldnt look at the battery or the engine because theres only 4 technicians here on Saturday and we only do service oil changes. Alright, okay, well why then was I able to schedule this appointment, where I clearly indicated everything wrong with my car and what needed to be checked?The person assisting me showed a complete lack of respect and professionalism, interrupting me as I tried to explain what was wrong and not answering my question about why I was able to schedule this appointment online (seriously, not even an I dont know, just a slight shrug). I understand that the scheduling may not be her fault, but this is where the lack of customer service professionalism comes in. Rather than apologize for the error, she just repeated that they couldnt do anything today and just stared at me like she wanted to be done with this and have me leave. She could have offered to help me schedule an appointment for another day when a technician that could assist me with those matters was available. I dont know if its possible but if it was she could have offered to keep my car there over the weekend so it could be checked out as early as possible next week, especially considering that the issues I described could make it dangerous for me to be driving the car at all. As I was not offered any other option, I ended up taking my car and leaving.What it comes down to is that I really just dont feel cared for at this Ford. I shouldnt have to argue about getting the help I need when I scheduled an appointment well in advance and woke up early to come in. I shouldnt have to be hyper-vigilant every time I come in to get service. Honestly, Im glad my lease is coming to an end and I can finally move on to a new vehicle and company. For now, Ill be making a slightly longer drive to the Ford in Montebello for service.

Not having an appointment, was able to drop off my new Mustang for its first service. Randy got me in and we went over all the items I wanted addressed, mainly oil change & inspection as well as looking at tire slowly losing air. Randy called later with a couple of updates and gave me an idea of when the car would be ready, which it was. Very pleased with the outcome!

Seriously the best customer service Ive ever received. Donovan was amazingly attentive, patient, and actually seemed to care. I drove across country and was stressed out and he just was cool as a cucumber. He didnt try to oversell me and when I mentioned Id rather him check my tires to see if they needed a balance rather than doing so, he said no problem, well let you know. Best of all the work done on my car was great! They did an alignment CORRECTLY, unlike the previous Ford dealership in Virginia, who tried three times to get my wheel straight and my car to go straight. A+++++Bonus! They have free wifi and a great coffee machine. Lots of magazines and two big tvs. Lots of couches to sit on.
My girlfriend and I Just bought a 2.7 F-150 this Friday and already have an issue with it, an easy fix, is kinda fun how they want me to pay a lot more if I take it to the dealer, truck still under factory warranty and even bought the extended one, but the dealer want me to pay $190 only for diagnostic, I call again to the parts department and told them the code and they knew what part do I need and they said it will cost me around $40 out the door.is disappointed that the dealer can’t fix this without asking for money

16 months ago a new starter motor was installed in my older model Ford F-450 work truck. For whatever reason the replacement part failed prematurely at a very inconvenient time. We desperately needed this truck for picking up merchandise which will be shipping overseas on a container going out next week. Originally, I was told the truck wouldnt be ready until Monday or Tuesday but after hearing our predicament my service writer and the service manager worked together to expedite the repairs. I picked up the truck on Saturday much to my surprise and relief. And to top it off they covered it under warranty!Star Ford is the best!

Ive never left a review anywhere before, but this is needed.Went in to buy a truck, explained my budget, what I was looking for, and wanted to see options.These things were ignored, and I was blatantly lied to by the salesman about the options that were available.Over the course of two days, the only way I was able to reach a reasonable deal was by leaving.Literally, I walked out and was chased down by the salesman to then finally be told they had what I was looking for.These guys are only focused on their watches, not on giving you the best deal like they will inevitably claim every other sentence.Do yourself a favor, and go to another dealer. I was helped perfectly fine the very next one I went to.
Seta was fantastic. It was very busy and she was doing her best to help her customers with a professional touch while also in a timely manner. My car was ready within an hour. I was shocked, as it was extremely busy. Thanks again to Seta and Star Ford for their great customer service.
Update: The review below in parenthesis is my review from 11 months ago. Todays service was a far cry from that day. My appointment was for 9 am for the basic services; oil change, tire rotation and so on. I gave myself a set amount of time to be there because I had other business to take care of. After about 20 minutes of waiting I was finally checked in for my appointment. I was told it would take about 2 hours; which seems extremely excessive. I reluctantly agreed only because I needed to get it done. Two hours past and I was never updated on the status of my car. When I went to go look for someone I was told it should be out in a few minutes. A few minutes past and I was told my car was just going back for the techs to start work on it. This is now just past the 2 hour mark. I was told 30 minutes for them to do the work. Lets just say about an hour later is when my car was finally ready. THREE hours for basic service. What is the purpose of an appointment? I watched people that were walk ins and appointments leave before I did; all of which arrived at the same time as me or after me. Todays service completely threw my schedule off today. And for this inconvenience I was only offered to have a good day. 👍🏾. If this is indicative to how service is here now I would not recommend anyone go here if you value your time.Was a 5 stars now a 2 star.(So I went here last week to get my Mustang its annual service and things went great. Seta made sure that sanitary precautions were made at the end of my service and I truly appreciate that. Guy if you go make sure you ask for her. She didnt try to over charge me for services and she was great at communicating with me the status of my service.)
Close to a 5, but had to dock a bit here because of some major delays in meeting with finance. That’s more a sign of the times than anything directly related to my experience with the employees at Star Ford Lincoln. Ryan, Freddy, and team were very helpful and professional. The process itself was relatively easy.I was looking for a very specific vehicle, and Ryan didn’t pressure me to settle. Rather, he simply waited until he found the car I was looking for and called me when it was available. Super straightforward process, limited sales BS, and no obnoxious spam make me satisfied with the process and definitely one to reconsider Star Ford Lincoln in the future.

Jose V. was great! Came in with a missing mirror, and he helped me to the parts counter where I got it ordered/delivered overnight, and he helped me put it on when I came back to pick it up. Such an easy process, took less than 30 minutes overall with both trips.
I believe they offered shuttle service as I just requested service again and I was asked if I would be needing their shuttle service.During this visit on 5/26/2020, I was asked if I wanted shuttle service from enterprise car rental (to be picked up by Enterprise) in order to get a rental. Enterprise didn’t answer their phone for me or the Ford rep so the rep asked if I didn’t mind walking and that Enterprise was a few blocks away. It’s only a few blocks away and I agreed. Now I’m finding out that Ford offers shuttle service? How come Ford’s shuttle service was not offered to me?Let’s see how my service goes today...
Even with an appt, waited over 20 minutes in the car. Repair will take overnight. Charges shuttle service. No loaners. At least the Rep who helped me was very nice. Eric Aguilar, the rep, made things right by addressing one of the mechanical issues free of charge.
If I could give negative stars I would. Worst customer service experience to date with any dealership! I purchased a vehicle from this dealership from out of state. Second time buying a car from California. From them not having the proper paperwork, dealing with multiple people who dont know what is going on, to not disclosed damage on the car (not normal wear and tear). They didnt send my car with temp tags, which in California they are supposed too. Cant get temp tags here in Colorado because I dont have title from them. Alex the GM is incompetent. Ive filed a claim with attorney general of California and Ive called corporate. CHOOSE ANYWHERE ELSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. Save yourself the headache.

1 star is too many. If youd like to work with predatory sales persons and be treated poorly then youll be happy with Star Ford. I would not recommend their services and will never be stepping foot in their building again. GM and Supervisor had no interest in meeting with me over an issue with a used car and watched me sit in the showroom for over an hour instead of talking with me about the problem. Truly poor customer service. Never again.
Worst shop experience Ive had, should have done the work myself. I brought my focus in for 100k mile maintenance and to have my windshield wipers aligned. The employee gives me an estimate of ~$900 worth of work- but for things I had personally already done. I had put in New spark plugs and air filter less than 6 months ago, but was told both need replacement for a crazy high price (Like $90 to replace an air filter... Really?). I refused most of these expensive services and merely got an oil change, new tires and an alignment.Now heres the real rough part.I get my car back and drive it home (about a 20 mile drive.). One of the brake light bulbs was no longer working, which was my first concern since Id assume that would have been replaced when/if they noticed it in the shop. The wipers had not been aligned, but merely pushed down to make it look aligned, only to return to its unaligned state immediately after turning on the wipers. Finally, my check engine light came on as I parked, smoke could be seen from under the hood. THEY HAD NOT PUT THE OIL CAP BACK ON AFTER CHANGING MY OIL. Instead I had to dig through the engine bay in hopes that the cap was still somewhere in the car. Luckily it was. I had brought it in since I had an over 2000+ mile drive planned for THAT NIGHT. If I had not known about the oil cap and continued driving, yall might have killed my engine. Thankfully I saw the smoke, but it took me a good while to clean all the hot oil that had now soaked my entire engine bay.At this point, I was forced to make a run to autozone, come back and do ANOTHER oil change and put in the new brake light bulb. Mind you I had already paid ~$400 for the horrible service at this point, now I had to spend another $50 and rush myself to get it done before I could start my long drive.I cannot express in text alone how frustrated this dealership has made me. Their prices are unbelievable, especially when Im lied to about parts that need replacing and nearly none of the work is done correctly to the point of almost damaging the car. I would have gotten better work done at some no-name mom & pop shop, and probably a better price.Take your car elsewhere- I know this is the closest ford dealership for a lot of Glendale residents, but I really mean it when I say youre 100 times better off either doing it yourself or taking it to an independent mechanic instead. Just anywhere but here really.
Seta at Star Ford is a rock star when it comes to customer service. Very attentive and detail oriented and always one step ahead of taking care of the customer. Thank you for your great customer service.

They had very little rangers inventory on the lot and no help to assist me for about half hour so we left
Again, I received great treatment in all aspects of service at Star Ford in Glendale. I do have one point of contention, however, as my wife and I both drive Mustangs and had the wiper blades replaced the very same day with the very same blades. There was a 100% variance in the cost of these blades. Hers were 50% cheaper then were mine, a difference of 20.00 dollars. I have not contacted the dealer as of yet. Even with this, I give them a 4, as I do feel confident with them overall.

My experience with the Star Ford service center was the worst experience. I had my brand new Ford Escape Hybrid (had it for 6 weeks, not even 2,000 miles on it) towed to their service center when it broke down on me on the freeway, and wouldn’t start again. They set me up with a rental car while my car was being fixed. I checked with them multiple times within a 2 week period and I got no information besides “were still diagnosing the issue”, after 2 weeks was over I spoke directly to the service manager Manny to find out about my car, who told me someone “dropped the ball” and he would go check it out. Another several days went by, he only called to tell me they still don’t know whats wrong, then again he called to tell me they’re waiting for a part to be delivered and it would take 3 days. 5 days later I heard nothing so I called again to which he said the part they need is on backorder and they don’t know when it will come. So after 30 days exactly of my car being in the service center (still nobody has told me a diagnosis or an ETA on it being fixed) I called to get an ETA and he said “the part we need doesn’t exist they have to make it and we don’t know when it will be here or how long it will take” (blaming the manufacture delay on Covid). So I told them I planned on claiming the car a Lemon and want to apply for repurchase. He gave me the number to Ford Consumer Affairs and that started an additional 3 month battle to get my car repurchased. THEN, after I called Consumer Affairs and told them my situation, they called Star Ford to get a diagnosis and an ETA, and turned around to tell me that Star Ford can no longer afford my rental car and I need to go and turn it in ASAP. They did not offer me any sort of transportation, no loaner car, and insisted I turn in the rental car while they keep my broken car INDEFINITELY. After days of phonecalls and legal involvement, they told me I could keep the rental car for now (ended up being in the rental car for 67 days, the only reason I turned it in was because I finally went and got a new car even though I STILL did not have a refund for my Ford.) I didn’t get a refund for another 2 months after turning in the rental. (and yes I was still paying my monthly payments on the car) The entire time, Ford had no sympathy, no communication, no professionalism, and I’m pretty sure they left my car sitting in their garage untouched for 2 weeks after it was towed there. Needless to say I will never be buying a Ford again or using any dealership associated with Star Ford.
