The staff at my location on Washington HWY have all been amazing. They are always understanding and they each take the time to help me any way possible. I had accrued a late fee and with out being asked, there was no hesitation, Joe waived it, which $20 is a huge help for me. Property/office is always clean and inviting.

I reserved my unit online over the weekend and was called first thing when they opened on the following Monday. Bryan was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The rental process was easy and straightforward.

This location has the best staff Ive dealt with. William was there, end of the day ready to walk me through each unit I wanted to see and answer each question I had. The process was headache free and I had my unit secured in half an hour. 6/5 stars. Hes a local who understands what his customers needs are and is willing to provide all he can with the tools at his disposal. Give them a call if youre in the market, you will not be disappointed.

Pros: Its clean, secure, the introductory rate was very good.Cons: Rate increased by 20% after four months with only a flyer notice mailed to my home. You can only lock in your rate by paying in advance of the increase. The company offers a gift card raffle for online reviews. Ive rented two units because this is the most convenient storage location to my home. The first unit I reserved online was not available when I showed up to sign the lease and I was forced into a larger more expensive unit. I transferred to a larger unit a few months later and had to pay fees for the transfer and the lease on the two units for two weeks although I was only using one. Ill probably keep renting here but I wish the company had been more forthcoming about the inevitable rate increase.

Management is extremely professional, very customer service driven. The facility is clean, only issue is that Extra Space will continuously increase rates. It’s been about 6 months and I’ve received a rate increase notice already.

I had to go to the office at the Ashland location and was greeted by William. He’s extremely helpful and friendly. Easy setup and unit is very nice. my only complaint is cost, all unit have gone up 50 to 75% what they were a year ago.

We have been throughly satisfied with our units here. The facility is clean and well maintained. The climate control has been great. Its nice to know our belongings are safe and properly stored until were ready to get them out. The customer service is wonderful. William and Dana are both extremely pleasant. Good experience at Extra Space Storage. Prices are great and William, the site manager, was very helpful in showing me a 3 x 3 storage locker and a 5 x 5 unit for comparison. Sometimes youre not sure what space you need and William answered all my questions so that I was comfortable picking the right unit for me.

I’m moving from out of state and had to do everything over the phone. From day one in speaking with William I knew I wanted to use Extra Space Storage for my Storage needs. His Customer Service, attention to detail & remembering me from phone conversations was amazing. We talked three weeks in a row until a unit opened up that fit my needs. He got me set up & able to move in as needed all over the phone. So thankful that he helped make this part of my moving process such a breeze!

Very helpful until contract signed. Code sent to open gate but gate would not open. Notified of this 3 times No call back. No instructions about how to get in or requirements about a pad lock. I am still waiting for a call back despite leaving 3messages yesterday. I was told that my next payment was due in August but since I have not been able to get in I think that should be pushed back until September. I would like to get my car unloaded. It must go in to be repaired and I want to unload what I packed in the storage unit instead of my home. The message I got on 6/30 said all employees are busy. No one called me back. If you are To busy to return customer calls perhaps you need more help. I need answers to easy questions and so far I have none!!!

Did online rental, my code did not work when I tried entering around 8 pm. Agent in the phone said I will be able to move in. However, that is NOT the case.*YOU CAN ONLY MOVE IN WHEN THE OFFICE IS OPEN. *This cost me to reschedule my flight and one crazy night standing in the cold wondering why I cant get in, and even after I got in, I wasn’t able to move in. I don’t think this is this site’s fault; i think its more on the phone agents from Extra Space Storage.This morning I was back and William greeted me very respectfully and apologized for the incident and showed me 2 different units and I was able to choose the better one.(both I rented thinking I messed up the online rental the first time). 3 stars for that alone. -2 stars for the misinformation on Extra Storage Space.I was hoping to be compensated for the crazy night I had but that didn’t happen.

Terms of the lease were explained very clearly to me. I was shown the space prior to renting, which was much appreciated. So much easier to visualize in person than with the descriptive graphics (although they were also appreciated.) Helpful staff person.

Extra Space Storage has clean, bug free, dry units. Ive had my unit for several months and have checked on my stuff several times throughout. Its been easy to get in and out and it is secure. Ive seen staff do walks to check each unit. The staff is very courteous especially Joseph who has helped us tremendously as we vacate the unit. I highly recommend this Extra Space Storage!
