Quick friendly service! Very unique rolled ice cream customized any way you like!

This past weekend I visited Cold Platform with my friends and we had a great experience! I had been looking for a fun place to go for my birthday, and Cold Platform met all of my expectations.The staff was friendly and the shop was clean. We had a little bit of a wait, but being able to watch the workers make our ice cream rolls made up for it. SO COOL TO WATCH! There are many ice cream flavors to choose from, and they also have fun drinks like bubble tea and milkshakes. I got the Strawberry Shweetie ice cream and a taro bubble tea and both were delicious! I cant wait to come back and try more flavors.

Watching them making ice cream from scratch is such an unique experience. nice flavor, not too sweet and such a clean ice cream shop. i will sure be back very often

The only place in short pump that serves delicious rolled ice creams. Tried Vanilla ice cream base with strawberry, almond, caramel and whip cream as topping is finger licking delicious. Highly recommend for those who loves ice cream

Highly recommended. Fresh ingredients and a very filling. Right price for the right amount of ice cream. The staff is super nice and friendly also. We will be returning in the future. We drove 35 minutes to try this place.Troy

Descent icecream with a very fun concept. Choose your icecream and toppings then watch the magic happen. As your personalized icecream in being mashed, pounded, and rolled out on a cold platform. The final result is rolled icecream. Something to experience at least once.

The ice cream could use some work, not the best Ive tasted. But one thing they do have a lot of is presentation. We were there during a busy period, 12 people in front of me, and it was really something watching them go from one order to the next.

Place is decent and taste pretty good, but some employees would go on their phone while making it and would spill it occasionally.

Great soft serve tastes amazing, very affordable and wonderful customer service. My son loves the incredible colors with your waffle cone. My husband also loves how his order was messed up and you went out of your way to fix it when you didnt have to. The ice cream was very good and my kids enjoyed watching it being made. The only reason I didnt give it 5 starts was because of the very long wait once we ordered. We came on a weekend afternoon and it took about 15 minutes to get our ice cream after we ordered. I was told once we received treats that this was a longer than normal wait time due to being busy. I have no problems waiting especially for a popular item. I just would have appreciated a heads up prior to ordering so I could decide if I actually had time to wait that day. I will be back though because it was delicious.

This place is Amazing!!! The customer service is wonderful. I cant eat sugar and the owner was totally accommodating he made a special no sugar blend for me. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!!!

I went there with six children as an ending to a movies, pizza, and ice cream birthday party. It was a great experience. They were kind and helpful to the kids. The kids got ice cream and a show! And the ice cream was delicious!

We had strawberry cream pie and bubble tea both were very good and good customerservice. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is this place is not tidy, tables were not wiped well, bathroom was clogged up.

Rolled Ice Cream- YES!This spot was new to me as a suggestion from my girlfriend and I was not disappointed.The store was clean and welcoming and the service excellent.There are several creations to choose from or mix your own using a variety of fillings (fruity pebbles to nutella). They also serve up bubble tea (be sure to chew the tapioca pellets).Definitely going back.

The staff is friendly and entertaining. it is prevalent that customer satisfaction is their goal! If you want ice cream done right and customized the way you like, you have to try this place!!

My roommate and I went here on a Saturday night and while it was busy the staff was still very welcoming and enthusiastic, and helped us by answering any questions we had. We got our rolled ice cream within minutes and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back.

This is a cute little shop! If youve never had rolled ice cream, I would totally recommend it! Its fun and it tastes great! The staff is also really friendly and helpful. For me though, rolled ice cream is a bit more of a novelty and not something I usually go for when I have an ice cream craving. But, if you are into it, this is a great one! If you are looking for great ice cream and more options in general though, I would probably go to Gelati Celesti, which is pretty close in Short Pump.

This is the best place I love watching my ice cream rolls being made I love this place so much this ice cream rolls are the best and the good thing is that it’s open every weekday

They are always closed ten minutes before their actual closing time. It tastes great but the customer service could be better.Edit: Second Sunday in a row that they have closed early. An employee came to the locked door and said that management requires them to close early when they have a lot of customers. I only wanted bubble tea so I did some searching and found Pho1 Grill has excellent bubble tea. (Highly recommend)TLDR: I wont be returning to this place again because its hours are unreliable.

I went two times to the place and had very bad experience. The guy named Jonathan called himself owner treat customer badly. He don’t know how to talk to the customer.Also we found hair in the ice cream and had to trash it. When we asked him for flavor he always says he doesn’t have it. I’ll highly not recommend this place. If you looking for good ice cream place just go to GULETI the best in town and best customer service.0 STAR TO THIS PLACE

Coffee toffee-the best hands down! Such a cute place with to die for ice cream. Not to mention the down to earth owner and staff! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a treat and the experience to match👌

Neat take on ice cream. With the current options, there are thousands of personal creations. The house flavors are pretty good. Id avoid peak times as they can only make 3-4 at a time, but completely worth going.

Kind if cool watching they make the ice cream for you. Does not like the tip selection, should it be included in the price you paid for?

So good! Great experience. I wish we visited Richmond more so we could enjoy it. I got the nutella one and it was amazing and my husband got mint chocolate chip. Both were great!

My 4 yo enjoyed the watching the icecream being made and rolled. Nice and cozy. You have to look hard to spot it. Needs more prominent posters in front of the store. Might look expensive but it is at par with most scoop out icecream shops. So this is worth for the time n effort of making each icecream.

The food was good. The man at the register was fairly rude to my friend who was trying to figure out how to order (The instructions are not as obvious as the employee had suggested).

****Make sure that your order is not taken care of the girl(because of my order experience). There is guy who does rolls perfectly for him I will give 6/5 . There is a girl(I think she is taking training) worst of the worst and she is so lazy and talking to others instead of working on my order. Because of here I decided I am giving this rating and not going to that place anymore . That one star is for that guy(I wanted to give more for him but my experience with that girl is worst)

Fantastic service & Fabulous Ice cream !!

I hate that the rolled ice cream places only offer one size. Way too much for one person. Thus, I cant eat here. Guess it saves me money, lol. Really frustrating though, because it looks fun and yummy :-)

First experience with this type of ice cream, and I must say Im a fan. I wasnt sure what to expect but the add on ingredients are finely chopped and blended then frozen on the anti-griddle and rolled up. Highly recommend it.

Ice cream was very tasty here, although the service didn’t treat their customers with respect.

I think I just came on an off day. Long story short the staff wasn’t friendly or inviting, the girl made mine which the finished product wasn’t perfectly rolled. It looked more like sloppy seconds. But the most disgusting part was the girls hair was flowing loosely everywhere over everyone’s ice cream and she kept pushing it back with her gloves and touching her ears with the gloves also.
