Walked in on a Saturday afternoon in search for a piece of wood for a project I’m starting at home. Went around looking for an employee that could help me find something remotely close to what I had in mind. I was fortunate to come across a very delightful Annabella, although she said she came from a different department, went completely out of her way to help me find exactly what I needed. So very knowledgeable and an excellent employee!
Tim in the flooring department was extremely patient, kind and helpful by going into detail about our floor installation. You could tell it was from experience, he was so knowledgeable. We greatly appreciated all of his help with this process. :-)
I would like to recognize Samira as an outstanding employee of Home Depot. She was very patient, knowledgeable and most helpful with selecting the proper stain/sealer for my deck.

Im guessing thats why there is a hiring sign. I went to the door department and waited for almost 30min until someone actually came to help me. That was ridiculous but when the guy came he was very nice and help me get everything done.

I went to Home Depot June 10, 2021. Noswayne was working in the paint department. She provided me with professional, kind and amazing service.. I even asked her if she was the manager because she was so thorough. Even when she couldnt help me with my particular paint purchase, she volunteered to do everything she could to take me to the next step. Her customer service was beyond what I am used to receiving. Thank you, Noswayne; sorry that I am so long posting my appreciation for you.
This place is good if you need to get something quickly. Not everything was conveniently placed, however. When I went there yesterday, all I needed was some protective mask because I was doing some painting. Originally thought to look in the safety aisle but was told respiratory protection was in the paint aisle. I eventually found what I was looking for but I felt like I had to go around the whole store first. Other than that, the associate helping find what I needed was really nice and friendly.
Asked a couple folks in the lumber area where the ladder mesh was. Whitney told me on aisle 18 row 5 and pointed to the side wall up front. Not there. Went back to Whitney and she called lumber over intercom and asked lumber rep to meet me. No one showed. Then I found Chubby thank goodness. He helped me look all over and he found it! Very nice gentleman. Not surprised that he works 2 jobs! Would have been a 1-Star rating if not for Chubby. He should be in charge of training!! Chubby is a 5-Star!!!!!
I believe Home Depot has better selection it’s easy choices less packed I’m happy customer
Im a home improvement junkie and am always getting something for one of my many projects. Rearly have I ever been so impressed by the customer service as I was with this lastest trip. Quentin not only helped me save nearly $100 dollars, he loaded up my truck with almost 100 boards, before I had even finished checking out. He went so far above and beyond, and did so with a smile. Absolutely blown away!!!
We are remodeling our bathroom. Since I selected our new items from Home Depot, I attempted to schedule an at-home consult for installation. They texted me, twice, to say theyd call me, but if I wanted to expedite the process, to call ReBath (no phone number provided). I looked them up, called, and was told, we dont install Home Depot products. I had no problem finding a contractor on my own who would. A few days later, the same lady called me from ReBath to ask about my project. She informed me again they dont work with Home Depot products. I dont know how to save Home Depot from themselves - this comes across so ignorant that imagining them actually managing a project is scary.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff in the garden center. They have wonderful service and the queue is always moving quickly.
Zero customer service, asked three times no one showed up, Manager says the employee is on lunch, I’ve been there for an hour, I hope you enjoyed lunch when I saw you avoiding me.

Horrible experience with store management. Thousands of dollars of lumber and concrete not delivered, blamed a third party service and would never return my calls. Employees couldn’t find a manager on 4/5 calls to the store leaving me stranded with labor sitting and no building materials.
Better prices that other stations in area. Hard to see from road.
I was planning on buying a Cub cadet mower there and asked if they would match the price of tractor supply which is a local company. They said we do not have the budget today to be able to price match and I would not be able to price match until Monday. I have never heard of a company that says they price match competitors locally saying they cant price match even though they have something in stock due to a budget! The Short pump store I will not deal with anymore I will prefer to go to the Ashland store the people there are much nicer. But tractor supply company got my business because they wouldnt price match.
Needed some PEX repair parts for and old copper pipe plumbing system. A very knowledgeable employee gave me a quick tutorial on installing PEX and help piece out the project with me...thanks!
I can never find help and when I do the associate has zero answers. I do research first just bc if this. But they carry Ryobi and I do love Ryobi.

Bought a weed eater on the Home Depot website and picked it up at the local store. Smooth transaction.
I received a gift which to my surprise was used and damaged. When trying to return it, the customer service did not apologize or anything. Otherwise they do have some great experts and associates who can help you with your shopping.

I came into this store today after being a Lowes customer for many years. I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service. A young man, Bryce, came up and helped me find everything on my list and not only helped me pick out a pressure washer but helped me load it into my car. Im an older woman, so that extra help was wonderful. I will shop at this store from now on. Thank you!
Apparently this store is not where people go for shelving. Very limited options, and the ones I bought were covered in dust.
I placed a online order on 3-25-2021 order said that it would be delivered on 3-29-2021. My order never showed up, my order had been changed to 3-31-2021. Of course it never showed up then either. I called the store and Gary said you will get your order today. At 6pm I called and talked to the delivery manager and he really could care less and said that the earliest that my order would be delivered is on 4-5. Dont waste your time they really dont want your money. My order was over $3000.
I found 2 things. The person that helped in fan dept was great. The person in the dehumidifier had very little clue. Did get one but had to go to customer service for more info
Found what I needed this time. Found some of my specialty tools in the section that is electrical. A little thin on the selection for sockets. Overall experience for today was very good and quick to check out and cashier Donna was extremely polite and attentive.
Dont get keys cut here - 6 out if 9 that I got done, did not work.

This is the 3rd time I have been recently to Home Depot. Leo has helped me each time and is a real gem. We are redoing a log cabin and I have had huge list of items needed. He has been fabulous! Treat him well, you dont want to lose him!!! Please make sure he knows how valuable he is to his customers!

Home Depot doesnt bother me too much you kind of know what youre getting in for.. theres not many people that help you around there. What irritated me about my recent visit is that we needed appliances and it was just a terrible experience. We couldnt use the coupon because they didnt have the inventory in the store, they didnt have inventory at all.. the sales person was uncooperative, and seemed like she didnt really want to help. Just a poor experience. Appliances are an afterthought it seems.On another note, theyre one of the few places that will deliver and install closet systems. Or at least they say they will. We called everybody from the corporate office and spoke to five different people in the store and we just cant get them to install it. They must be having issues with our third-party contractors. Everybody made promises that somebody would be getting back to us and the issue would be resolved. Never happened.
Just never seems to have the brands Im looking for. If they did, Id give 5 stars

Went in to look for a leaf blower. Lady was nice and offered to assist me but unfortunately the brand I was looking for was at rival store..lol. I did get a lamp though so I could put it on my charge card and pay it off so they wouldnt close my account. Cashier was pleasant and helpful since I had forgotten the card I needed to use they looked it up for me...thanks!
Great customer service. Had trouble finding a replacement front tire for my lawn mower. One of the employees who was on his break took the time to help me. Thank you so much, just sorry to have taken up your time but glad to know we found it behind the riding mower tires.

This location is exceptional. The associates here are really customer service driven. I cannot say enough about the garden shop, I want to say manager. She was super experienced with local foliage, and very willing to help navigate thru all my questions.

Id never been to this store before this visit. Its a smaller big box than others, but had the tool chest I needed in stock. A very helpful employee was assembling them and helped me out with it.
So well organized, knowledgeable staff, and clear signage. Although my item was not in stock, i was given some comparables to check out. Great store, i highly recommend.

Favorite place to go for paint! Great selection of paint colors, brushes, tools, primers, and merchandise is always well-stocked. Easy to find what Im looking for.
Hannah in the paint department was incredibly helpful and took the time to listen to my ideas and provide feedback/suggestions to execute them properly.
No plumbing specialist ever showed up to help me in the plumbing department. The associate, that tried to help find what I was needing, had no idea what the item was or what it was used for however, showed much care. Thats ok, given the Covid crisis that we are in, everyone is doing their best. Cant ask for more than that...
Though the owner of home depot may be deplorable for his political choices I still rely on them for quality items. Very competitive prices and helpful staff.
This location has so much more to offer than the Chester and Colonial Heights locations. Enjoyed my visit.
Dont go here if you expect customer service from management. I shopped here this evening and the lady in the garden center tried her best to get me help. She contacted 3 different people to get a pallet of product down for me from the top shelf. When the wonderful lady in lawn and garden contacted them to get the product for me they kept saying they were doing it now. As I stood there and waiting they were no where to be found. After waiting around for 30+ minutes I finally asked for the manager. The manager JJ showed up and was very unprofessional. Did not apologize for his employees not getting the product down from the top rack. Walked off without saying he would take care of it or anything. Saying he was busy. If you are too busy to take care of the customers why would people want to shop here?

Not what it used to be, some Rude unprofessional employees . A Jamaican woman on a forklift accosted me in the paint department for grabbing a free paint stick, mind you my basket was full of painting items. Kept my cool and walk away right over to Lowes! Unfortunately their no better.Giant Meteor 2022, time to start over. 🙏
This was my 1st time visiting this location. I was there 1st thing when they opened on a Sunday. All of the employees were very helpful & super pleasant. One associate was singing to the music, & all others kept smiles the whole time I was there. I was a little lost since the setup is slightly different from the location Im used to, but a very helpful employee noticed & offered help right away! The shelves & aisles were neatly and well stocked. Ill definitely revisit this location in the future!

Horrible Store, Horrible customer service! Never coming back. On Thursday, we ordered a grill ($1000+) and asked for it to be delivered and assembled. We drive to the Short Pump Home Depot because the store closest to us did not have many of new pieces of the grill and we wanted to make SURE we would be getting a new piece and not the one on display. So we drive 30 mins to Short Pump Home Depot and we are told that there are 11 new pieces of the grill, we even see a few in the box on the shelf. Jacqueline, the store clerk, really tried to help and she was really sweet. We pay for our grill but because there was a computer glitch the clerk was supposed to call in Friday to make sure the grill was to be delivered on Saturday. We were told we will be getting our grill on Saturday, we leave and wait for Saturday. 2 days later, Saturday, at 2pm, we are SHOCKED to see the grill we received. We get the DISPLAY PIECE with the tag still hanging off of it, scratches all over the grill, and the WRONG MODEL! ...they had 11 NEW PIECES of the model we wanted in the store, yet we get the display piece! We did not even accept the delivery and told the driver to return with the grill. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. We call customer service all morning, no answer. We drive up to the store and there are 6 employees standing behind the customer service in front of 2 computers and we ask to speak to the store manager, who happened to be Shana, who has an attitude with us, and when we tell her our ordeal, very politely, remembering the fact that she did not know and is not responsible BUT all she has to say is OK. No apology, no trying to fix the situation...nothing. Fine, we do not need an apology, but the least she could have done is acknowledge the fact that a mistake was made and something would have been done to fix it but nope. We were so disappointed and upset. We cancelled the order and we took our business to Lowes. Thank you very much, not coming back, sending our horrible experience with the receipts to corporate office. This is not bad customer on one instance but on multiple instances in a single experience!
The CDC says we no longer have to wear a mask while shopping if we have had the COVID vaccine. If you still insist that one has to be worn in your stores my husband and I will not be shopping at Home Depot.
This Brod street store suxIve been in 6 or 7 times...enough for them to recover. I try to give every store a second chance...Fail! When I went to customer service for help. They said we are Always super busy. My response..so hire more people to help your teams?Why did home Depot make it through Corona virus??? Not this stores great service 😒

Back in June, I ordered an LG refrigerator (had spoken with 3 different associates and gave the measurements of my space for the refrigerator), it was to be delivered 2 weeks later.I received a call the night before it was to be delivered, saying it was on back order for another 6 weeks.Went back and forth with the “Pro-team” and was offered $75 for the delay. The refrigerator was finally delivered (the delivery tram was very professional) and after installing, found the doors would not open fully due to the “extra 2 inches needed” in width for this specific refrigerator. Not one associate mentioned that to me upon ordering. Additionally, the freezer drawer was “stuck” and had to use both hands to open it fully.I returned to HD to order another refrigerator. The size that would fit into my space was on back order, and was not going to be delivered another 6 weeks, (10/22).Imagine my surprise when on Monday, 10/19, I received an automated call informing me the refrigerator will not be delivered until NOVEMBER the 28th (not to mention this is a holiday weekend).I have tried calling (to no avail) my representative as well as emailed and have not heard anything. I am beyond frustrated and cannot believe the lack of unprofessionalism for a company of this size.
Bought a dishwasher for my rental property and paid extra for installation and haul away of old machine. Made a follow-up call prior to delivery to make *100% sure* they were going to handle it so as not to inconvenience my tenant. Yes, you are all set, they said. Then they show up and say Sorry we cant touch the old machine. You have copper pipes. Fun Fact: 95% of existing homes are equipped with copper plumbing, and more than 80% of new homes are built with copper water-supplies. Why didnt they ask up front, Hey, you dont have copper pipes do you? Tenant frustrated, Im frustrated, and much time wasted -- all totally unavoidable.
I went to home depot to purchase a fridge. Home depot said it would be delivered within 2 days. The delivery company showed up on time. However, when the installers opened the door to the truck, my fridge had fallen on the floor and was laying on its back across the dolly. I asked the installers if it was my fridge and they replied yes. I then proceeded to as him why it wasn’t strapped to the wall and he replied with they weren’t provided straps and only carry one or two on their truck so if they have more than one appliance on the truck they can’t strap more than one appliance. He then called LG to report what had happened. However, the installer lied to the LG company and said he dropped the fridge off the truck which was untrue. Then, the installers realized they needed to remove the fridge doors to install it in my kitchen. They laid the doors to the side and told us that they are not allowed to deliver parts into homeowners homes and that they homeowner must do it themselves to prevent scratching. At this point, I asked the installers where their PPE was and that I did not want them coming into my home without mask or gloves on. The installer told me that the company does not provide them with such PPE. Finally, they started to install the fridge in the kitchen. When they left, I opened the fridge doors and I had internal wiring hanging from the from the door. They pitch the caps over the wires making the wires useless. One of these wires connected to the ice maker and now instead of having the round ball ice (feature of this particular fridge). The installers did not clean thoroughly after themselves, they took the wrapping but left trash all over the floor. I called the manager at this home depot store and he said he would get me a new one sent out but gave me an attitude as if it was inconvenience for him and as if this is a complaint he hears often. The attitude I received from him was as if he couldn’t care less. If I could rate this lower than one star, I would. They do not even deserve 1 start. This was the worst delivery experience I have ever experienced.

I went looking for a Ryobi power drill that was advertised for about $50 and it was over 10% more there, its ok but I went to Amazon and paid half the price and I have illuminated ornaments that require connectors for my Xmas tree lights that were not available, disappointed as I spend time and $ here all year.
Typical big box hardware store, that dabbles in all, but masters none. You could find the basics or the project you are working on. Copious amounts of people to assist you in whatever department you may need.You can also have keys made here for a generally low price.Although for specialty items youll likely have to go to a specialty shop or online to find.Overall if you want to be sure check the online catalog to see if they have it or any of their other nearby stores.

Placed an order online, to be picked up at the store. Came in before it was scheduled to. Needed a little plumbing guidance and several employees were quick to help (locating a piece that had been moved in the store). No complaints.

An above average home improvement store. Most areas are well stocked. At times, its hard to find an employee to help you. That just depends on the time of day. Good quality products. It has become my go to store when Im working on my to do list.
I trusted them with paint matching and it was the worst mistake I could have made. If you are thinking about doing this save yourself the disappointment time and money!!! Their color matching is a scam!!!

ATTITUDE PROBLEM! The store manager and the clerks there have no sense of proper customer management. After wasting my couple of hours and energy running back and forth to the short pump store, I still get a product that I did not order. What makes it worse is that the store manage Shana does not even try to solve the problem but just say okay, Ill send it again. Very insulting. Like we dont have anything better to do than to run around the store.
It’s sad, you can pay an associate to stand and watch customers ring up their own purchases but not pay several employees to ring up customer orders. When we ring up our own purchases we have stolen a job from a potential employee. I walked out last weekend instead of doing a cashiers job for free.
Store is completely unable to follow cleanliness guidelines. Been to numerous Home Depots and all of them wipe down their self checkouts after every customer but this one. Ive contacted the store to inform them of this and still the same. No supplies even near the checkouts.

Anan and Noswayne set the bar high for Home Depot’s customer service. Our private practice was wrapping up a large project that was started during COVID closure, and was later put on hold to prioritize installation of the newest safety protocols for our re-opening. Racing against time, and Home Depot crowds from reduced COVID capacity, I was shocked to have an employee, Anan, offering me help with smile while simultaneously juggling 2 other clients. When we realized this Home Depot location had only 1/3 of the supplies I needed to finish the project, Anan recruited Noswayne (also juggling a large line of clients). Noswayne found a nearby location with all my necessary supplies, and went the extra mile to call the location (placing her on hold for 15 minutes while simultaneously managing multiple clients) and requested the supplies be put on hold for pickup. Both of Anan and Noswayne were extremely knowledgeable of all paint products needed that day. Needless to say, in a world where online sales is increasing and personal contact is decreasing, these two helped our private practice complete the job and we could not be more grateful. THANK YOU!!
