I had the special garden dirt mix delivered last year to make beds around a new concrete patio. I planted items in 2 and 3 inch pots. This is what they look like now. This soil is incredible. Highly recommend.

This place is AWESOME. **FYI** This company is under new ownership. Their customer service is outstanding!! I had a huge project and I couldn’t find a specific rock anywhere in Austin or San Antonio. The only place that rock could be found was in New Mexico. This company went the extra mile to get transport to New Mexico just so they can get that rock to us. If that isn’t amazing customer service, then I don’t know what is. Highly recommend them.

Went for ideas in hardscape for my landscaping project. They were sold out of Black Mexican beach pebbles and Arizona river rock 😪 The ladies inside were helpful though. Nice variety, just call if youre looking for something specific.

I have been a customer of Austin L.S. since the opening. I used this facility exclusively for all my residential landscaping at my home in Georgetown. I purchase quantities from a 5 gallon bucket, 4 tons of flagstone, and up to 3 cubic yards of rocks. The customer service from the office out into the yard is always cordial, knowledgeable and will work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied.

While visiting the Georgetown location today I was helped significantly by Liz..... an employee that was friendly, eager to help and who answered all my questions. Excellent customer service!

Great selection of reasonably priced landscape materials for every occasion

Wanted 2 pallets of stone and was asked to make a payment on the same day to make sure I get it delivered in 2 days. On the day of delivery they called and told they had to delay it by 2 more days because of an issue with the flat bed truck. Most of the stone inside the pallet were cracked and broken to small pieces which arent usable. When I called them asking about the damaged stone, the lady at the front office said they wont be able to do anything as thats how they get it from their supplier. But ultimately the damaged stone affected my project and had to buy extra stone from a different company. Couple of days later another lady called to check how everything went and when I told her about the material I received, she said Ill get a response with a resolution. Days later still havent heard anything about the resolution.

Went there to get a quote for delivery, 4 employees were just standing there not asking me if I needed help!Terrible customer service, went to another place in Round Rock and got greeted as soon as I entered the door, they got my hard earned money, sorry you just $$$$ for not being good at your job.

Oh my goodness, this is the most incredible place to order gravel and other lawn supplies from. I’ve gone all over, and searched a lot. If you want some of the most gorgeous pink crushed granite, it is only $69 a yard here.It was delivered perfectly to my residence, and put exactly where I wanted it.It was consistent, beautiful, and exactly what I ordered.I ordered other items, and with the $100 delivery fee, which is reasonable, the total came to $420. A bargain.

I was quoted a price of over $750 for 10 yards of 3/4” driveway base delivered locally and found 12 yards delivered for a little over $200. They are taking advantage of people!

Selection is good, prices seem good as well, dont know of delivery service as of yet, $63 for in town for 3 yards or more of mulches and soils, essentially all things but stone material.

We needed sand for installation of an underground electric conduit. On a very short notice, we had the sand delivered and all at a reasonable price. This was all done with a phone order and we are very happy with the service.

Best selection in the area.What sets this place apart from others in the area is the the variety of stone and other materials, a convenient location (right off of I-35) and ownership that cares.Yes, this place can get busy and sometimes it can take a bit more time to get your material, but it is worth it to me.The other day I left my wallet at the front desk and the owner was kind enough to drive it by my house. Now that is caring for your customers!!

Was told by a friend to shop here because I was looking for stepping stones but didn’t want the same old thing you buy at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Was like a kid in a candy shop when I started looking around. Found what I wanted fairly quickly. The young man helping me was so patient and efficient. I regret I didn’t get his name, young Hispanic, slim and fast! Needed more stones so I went back a couple days later. Took forever to find someone to help me. This was not the first young man I had dealt with and immediately I was not impressed. Was impatient and told me I could not pick from 2 separate stacks of stones even tho that’s exactly what I did before. There was a couple there the first day and we were picking from 3 separate stacks. This young man was rushing me to pick and acted like I wasn’t buying enough to make it worth his time to help. Picked the stones, he loaded them on the cart and weighed. I went inside with him to pay, paid and walked back outside to move my car closer for loading. He stayed inside talking and visiting with the young lady at the desk. I waited for 5 to 10 minutes for him to return and when he did he was not careful in loading. Dropped the stones on top of each other and was not careful to level for the ride. Maybe he was having a bad day but by his attitude I think this is his disposition. Would have given 5 stars if not for this experience.

There are a few things that i really dislike about this place!First, the custumer service employees including the owner(sales office) are very arrogant and do not have a single idea of how to treat custumers..they could start by learning the basic greetings as Good morning, good afternoon they just sit there and look at you. The one thing that I think is totally unethical is the UPCHARGE of 5% to every invoice they write for LOADING AND HANDLING. I buy at different landscape supply places and so far they are the only ones adding this fee.I guess we are paying for their new mega location on Leander road.The soil mixes that they make are very poor and full of weeds, if you want something of quality, get your soil mixes at Gardenville in Georgetown.

Went for supplies to for paver base, sand and stones. Employees were helpful on suggestions for the right material and was quick and easy getting the materials loaded by the staff. Great prices as well, will use again in the future.

So far I have had two good experiences with Austin Landscape Supplies. One 12 yard delivery of river rock, and one 12 yard delivery of granite. The driver dumped exactly where I pointed with no issues. Now my yard looks beautiful with the help of my landscaper. The only issue I have is they have a NO REFUND policy. If you end up not needing as much as you thought you did, and dont need full delivery, they will give you in store credit, but no refund even if nothing was delivered. Personally, I feel if no services are rendered a full refund should take place if requested.

Quick Delivery, almost instant, great quality material delivered at the exact location at the time indicated. A follow up call was received to double check if everything went well. Great company to do business with!

HIGHLY Inconsistent mixes! I paid premium price for premium garden mix. Some delivery’s were sandy, some were woody and the last one everyone could smell for miles. Office girl is rude, Inconsiderate and would rather make excuses than rectify the problem.

They have very good customer service. They were very friendly and helpful! They have an awesome rock selection and also, good prices! I would definitely recommend this place.

Customer service over the phone is horrible!! All I wanted to ask was for a delivery time. Called, was put on hold without a word. Called back, was told to hold, not asked, was on hold for 10 minutes according to my phone. Hung up and called back, was put straight on hold again with no words. Terrible! If you are that busy, at least get a number and call back, its that easy. Makes me wonder how this delivery process is going to turn out. Update ** Called back after this post, was put on hold for another 20 minutes, couldnt wait anymore, still havent talked to anyone!

We purchased bulk of premium soil from them which is supposed to have good amount of compost in it. But a little disappointed as all we got was mostly clay soil with some sand in it.

Lots of materials and stone. Lots of different landscaping rocks and granite and pretty much everything you would need to get a project done. The ladys ay the desk are helpful and kind. They keep the lot clean and kept up. I would recommend coming here first.

I went there to purchase some stone to make some flower beds. The lady working in the office worked with me for over 30 minutes. She answered all my questions and helped me calculate exactly how much I needed. It was a great experience. The stone was delivered on schedule. They also have soils and compost.

So disappointed with the experience here.The selection is great but customer service is non existent. I was minutes away from placing a $2000 order. Just needed to pick patio slabs out, some guy told me he was in a hurry and didn’t have to help me pick up +100 lb slabs. Wow. I went less than 2 miles away to a competitor.

I have been purchasing dirt, mulch, gravel, crushed granite and mulch from them for 8 years. Fantastic staff, great prices and easy to get in and out.

Weve been using austin landscape supply for three years (along with all the other local supply yards) and this retailer is by far my favorite. I just seem to get more material for my money here and I will keep going back here nor my bulk rock and stone.

Called to report a problem driver and the woman who answered the phone hung up on me. When I called back, she put me on hold for longer than 5 minutes. Bad drivers. Rude office employees

They always have a good selection and their people are helpful. We were not home when the last 3 yards of rocks were delivered but the driver called and he put them exactly where we wanted them.

2 major issues leading to my decision to stop doing business with them.Ordered dumptruck of composted granite with delivery. They refused to refund my money when they were not able to deliver...All sales are final, sir.... The sales ladies were not sympathetic and would not give me a delivery time. Finally, they said they would not have time to deliver....I had to speak to the owner and demand a refund, This is even after I have spent thousands of dollars with them.Really hoped their dirt was good. Bought about 8 yards. Very little will grow in their growers mix. The plants shrivel up and die. This did not happen with plants that I planted in bagged dirt. They are doing just fine.Done doing business with ALS..

I called by phone to place a home delivery order for a yard of cement and a yard of decomposed granite, but was told by the sales woman that the store only sells by bags, and my order was too small. I then ordered twenty bags or cement, twenty of granite, and some rebars, but the woman wasnt interested. I WILL NEVER TRY TO DEAL WITH THIS STORE AGAIN!

I had purchased 4 yards of landscape mix and had planned to picked up by the contractor. He picked up 1 and half yards. It rained later that day and he left for the day. He never showed up. Anyways, I got a picture of the purchase order texted to me from him. I talked to sales rep and manager explaining the situation but they gave me BS reasons and they cant deliver or have me pick up the rest of the landspace mix. The manager was so rude and told me that credit card receipt stapled to the big purchase order paper would be punched each time the part of load is picked up. And that tracking/receipt would be torn off once all the material is picked up. and denied to deliver rest of the material. Stupidest part is that contractor has to come and show his face so that the loader can recognize him and would have the say to deliver or not. Why would you punch the credit card receipt how much load is picked up? instead write it on purchase order. Better know how to track pick ups. Bad management. Bad experience overall. Whittlesey Landscape Supplies is much better in material quality and customer service.

Dont bother! Apparently when they call to ask specifically where to deliver your gravel and you tell them as close to the garage door as possible. That means the furthest away from the garage door.Never again Alex! Almost on the sidewalk!

We are a construction company who does a lot of business with local suppliers. I had my guys go in for help with a small order and the people there couldnt think outside of the box and give us what we needed. It seems that every time we stop in for something, they are incapable of taking care of us. Whether it is timbers or gravel or anything, they cant get us taken care of. This company is poorly managed and has too many customer unfriendly policies. Needless to say we waste our time here; every time thinking things would get better. We are done. The owners brother runs Whittlesey Landscape Supplies right down the road in Round Rock, we will go out of our way to go there from now on and I suggest you skip the hassle and do the same. It really is just that much better.

I purchased three yards of decomposed granite in december not expecting it to rain every day since then.I finally got my landscapers working and sent them to pick up the granite, my landscapers said that the type of granite I had purchased (decomposed) did not match the kind in my yard so I asked them to trade it out for crushed granite.When my landscapers returned they had a trailer full of decomposed granite, when I asked why they said the landscape Supply co. would not let them trade it out for the other granite. REALLY!!!!!!!I paid for granite and did not pick it up, realized I had paid for the wrong granite and Austin Landscape would not let me change the type of granite when I did pick it up, how un user friendly can a business be!!!So here I am with half my yard in crushed granite and a huge trailer full of decomposed granite in my driveway, dont know what to do with the trailer full of granite as they wont take it back after purchased.Whom ever makes the rules at Austin Landscape Supply needs to be more user friendly, maybe new management would be a good idea.I am sooooooo very frustrated right now AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I did not find the staff helpful. The young lady would not step out and show me the decorative stone, just handed me the price list. There are plenty of up charges if you are not able to cart away

Staff was ok, didnt wanna answer my questions. I still almost spent some money, but the smell was outrageous. Their enormous garbage cans were full and we couldnt stand it. As we were trying to make a decision a breeze came thru and we both gagged. Terrible experience.
