I took my lawn tractor in for service several weeks ago; they had it for 3 weeks (1-1/2 weeks before diagnosing the problem and the rest to repair). When I got it back, I discovered I had been charged for parts which were not installed. One of the parts (a battery) was not authorized. I communicated these discrepancy 2+ weeks ago and, while they immediately acknowledged the battery was not installed, no reimbursement has been issued and I am still getting the runaround about the belt they did not replace. Total of $84.54 is what I am owed! I guess because I’m female and older, they think I’m an idiot! (I grew up in the garage and have a law degree! Stupid I am not; willing to litigate I am!)BUYER BEWARE

I bought a pair of battery for a tractor. When they brought them to the counter they were filthy with dust. I told them I wasnt here to by old batterys. They told me that they were new just dirty. The date code made them 2 years old and one was used. Lost me as a customer.
Called told me they had the part I needed, drove hour and a half got there and said well the computer said we have it but we dont. Thanks to ag pro in flemingsburg for setting me up with the part I needed
I brought my lawn tractor in because it was it was running rough at times an because its still under warranty.I dropped it of on Tuesday.By the next week Id heard nothing.I called an was told they couldnt find any thing wrong, but would try a few more things to be sure.The next week I called again an was told they couldnt find anything wrong,but sharpened my blades.So two weeks no phone call from the service department.If I hadnt called Im sure it would still be there.When I came to pick up my mower,I paid was given a receipt.No thank you for business sorry we couldnt figure it out.The didnt even bother to tell me where it was.My daughter finally found it, an Hispanic employee was nice enough to help us load it.The only reason I gave it two stars is because Natalie in service had been helpful at another time .But if there was somewhere else to take my tractor for service Id be going there next time .Your customer service Dept.needs to through some basic customer service training.
I purchased a new JD X758 from Taylor in sales.We had a slight misunderstanding on one of the attachments when I did the purchase.When I brought it up a month later I took responsibility for missing it at the time of purchase. And potentially not checking myself that it was on the tractor.But Taylor and the team at Meade Georgtown had me bring the unit in and honored the mistake in a very timely and professional manner.This could have been forgotten and nothing more said about it.Instead they all went above and beyond.Please consider this company if you’re in the market for Farm and Garden equipment.I believe you won’t regret it.

I asked for a quote the day before I visited and I got a GREAT quote on a tractor. First I spoke to the only salesman there and he couldnt beat the quote that his peer had given me so he suggested I wait for him to come in. Yup, too good to be true. He mistakenly created the quote giving it two of only one discount he is allowed to give at one time. He apologized and we didnt really push the matter of the fact that the quote on paper that he gave is pretty binding. We were super irritated and he wouldnt compromise. So beware and make sure you keep these guys honest.
I came in to get a replacement head for my Stihl string trimmer. I first searched the shelves for a lightweight head that would fit my model. I found a lightweight head but it did not list my model as compatible. I proceeded to the parts/service counter and asked if they could tell me the size of shaft for my string trimmer. I was directed to the office to the right of the service counters. The mans name is Jason, I think. Whoever it was, he acted as if I was bothering him. He asked what I needed, and I explained. He saw that I was holding the incompatible head and asked if that was the head I wanted. I told him that I didnt think it was compatible. He instructed me to purchase it and if it didnt fit, to bring it back. I told him that I did not want to make a second trip, and that I would Google the shaft size. Only then did he attempt to look up the shaft size, or a compatible head. He had a terrible attitude, and seemed as though he didnt want to deal with me and my older model string trimmer, which is actually not very old at all. Once he started looking, it took him all of 30 seconds to find the correct part, and 30 more seconds to have it in hand.I know a string trimmer head is small potatoes but that does not justify this level of inconsideration. Offering literally a minute of your time in order to save a customers time, gas, and money, that would otherwise be wasted on a return trip, is called service, and furthermore, respect. I did receive service but only because I insisted.I will take my business elsewhere, where I know I will receive service and respect.It is my hope that this review, as well as word of mouth, will prevent others from being disregarded and disrespected. A customer is a customer, whether theyre buying string trimmer line or a tractor. Who knows, if a customer who drops in for something small has a positive experience, maybe when they need a tractor they know where to go.

I was in the process of buying a new chainsaw and hedge trimmer. I shopped around many different places and brands before deciding on Stihl. I shopped several Stihl dealers in and around Georgetown.
