Went in to get my AC recharged. They found a leaking part that Dodge said would cause the entire compressor to have to be replaced 😣! The team here at Lansdale came up with a $30 solution and were able to complete my recharge for only a marginal additional fee. Highly recommended professionals! Dave explains what’s wrong, gives an estimate, and the car is done when he says it will be done. They get the repair right the first time. In the rare case that they are faced with an issue best dealt with by a dealer, they say so. They don’t invent problems that don’t exist just to get your $$. Lansdale Automotive will be the place I will continue to have my cars looked after and I give them my highest recommendation.

However, I just got off the phone with the kindest gentleman that even though he could not help me in his business sent me somewhere else, with a high recommendation and was just a great help. I may not have been able to use Lansdale this time my car needs work, but next time I will go here just because their customer service and kindness was exactly what I needed today.

Went here for the first time for an oil change and decided to add on inspection while I was at it. These guys are amazing Ingle friendly, helpful and fast. They did not try to upsale me on any other services. I was in and out within half an hour. Granted I did get there soon after they opened. Definitely will be returning.

I have been using Lansdale Automotive for about 1.5 yrs now to do oil changes. They have decent prices for it and always honest with anything found during inspection. However Last oil change they told me my battery was showing wear and might need to be replaced soon. Great but when I popped my hood I saw corrosion on the connection and had to wonder why they didnt clean this during oil change/5 point inspection? Then today I called for an estimate on another car I have which isnt drive-able at the moment. They refused to give one. I tried to explain but from his curt answers I really dont think he was listening. I have to admit I was disappointed. I was able to get 3 other estimates from other garages which help for towing purposes. Sigh maybe he was having a bad day?

Landsdale is great. Went to a few places for an inspection and all quoted me ~ 2 hours. Landsdale had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. They even set up an appointment for me at the tax office so I could renew my registration without waiting (this saved me over an hour as the tax office was packed but with the appointment I was able to walk in and take care of my registration in 5 minutes.)Great customer service. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Took my old truck in for front wheel alignment. Dropped it off and was figuring to get back next day. David called me same afternoon that it was ready. Their original estimate was $90 but they did it for $56. They also inspected serpentine belt and recommended replacement. I’m a DIY’er. I’ll definitely return to Lansdale for future automotive issues requiring a professional.

The guys over at Lansdale are the best Ive had to deal with in Georgetown. I have taken our vehicles to them for all kinds of repairs ranging from major to very minor. The encounter is always great with no headaches(unlike other chain places nearby). They do not over sale or try and talk you into anything extra. Very knowledgeable staff in the office and garage. We will continue to take our vehicles to Lansdale for anything that may come up. Highly recommended!

A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold. Lansdale has certainly earned their good name. These guys are very honest and upfront about the car issues and costs. They keep gaining my business! It started with an oil change, then inspection, now they have my tire business and who knows whats next. My husband and I are very happy with the quality of products and services.

These guys are amazing. My first visit with them was to have an exhaust issue fixed. They were incredibly helpful. The second time, during the Halloween weekend rains, they really showed what it means to go to a local shop. I am about to make a trip to Colorado and needed a new set of tires. I arranged to go in the Friday of Halloween and get a set of Goodyear tires.Dave, the one Ive worked with most, offered to get me a tire that was cheaper AND rated at a higher mileage. The rating was important for me as I drive between College Station and Austin twice a week. They gave me a call to let me know that my alignment in back was significantly off and wanted to know if I wanted them to fix it.What really made me committed to these guys for my vehicle is what happened at the end of the day. They promised to make sure that they would complete all work by close or stay late trying. They called to inform me they were done and I began making my way to get my vehicle. I called them when they were supposed to be closing to let them know that we werent going to make it by the time they left. Due to the rain and flooding, Dave promised to stay so that I could have my vehicle for the weekend. No chain store would provide as much customer service and commitment as these guys do. I will also go back with our vehicles.

We have lived in Georgetown for 3.5 years now and have been taking our cars here for maintenance and work. We started going here because of the high rated yelp reviews. I normally dont write reviews honestly but I go off of them every time we go somewhere to purchase or pay for some work to be done. This place always gives me peace because I know they are trustworthy in their service they provide. It reminds me of a place my dad would have loved to have worked. Just good honest work that you can trust. They will let you know if the car is worth the money it will take to fix it up or not even though they have spent the time on the car researching the problems. They always give a good price as well. I would always recommend them.

Best example of good buisness, I was wanting to change both belts on my truck and they called me that there is no need for them to be replaced, that in its self speaks volumes.

I started using Lansdale Automotive for maintenance on my vehicles about fifteen years ago. They have done oil changes, brake jobs, transmission and differential service, headlight lens restorations and tire repairs for me. Recently, they did a thorough inspection and condition assessment of my daughters car. Every bit of service has been done promptly and at a reasonable price. I have never had to take a vehicle back to them to fix something that wasnt done properly the first time. I have never had a bad experience there - not even one time - which is not something I can say about some dealerships in this area. I dont think you can find another mechanic shop in this area with more reliability, integrity, honesty than Lansdale Automotive. I just hope they stay in business here for as long as I need service on my vehicles because good, professional, trustworthy mechanics are hard to find.

A rarity these days, a locally owned trustworthy business. Theyve done a couple alignment jobs for my truck now, and set me up with some tires at a great price. They blew discount out of the water. I was there for maybe 2.5 hours getting my new tires put on/balanced and my alignment done. Its nice to just shoot the breeze with people over a cup of coffee. I will be a repeat customer. They also repaired another customers flat tire on his lawn mower, and didnt charge him a dime. A good neighborhood business, unfortunately its going out of style.

The one thing you look for in a company is honesty. Allan at Lansdale exemplifies that trait. I brought in my 2007 Liberty for a transmission leak. He spent hours trying to determine why it was leaking in what turned out to be overfilled transmission fluid. It perplexed him and me given that we hadnt had anyone touch the vehicle in months and the leak just started. Regardless of the time spent he was going to send me away with the min. charge. He told me about some other items that needed maintenance as well but made no effort to pressure me into getting it done. I got the work done anyway. I just recently called about another minor issue to install a wiring harness for a trailer and he actually convinced me to buy it myself, explained how to install it and told me if I run into problems to bring it by but he thinks I should be able to get it done. The 1st time I came here for an inspection, I overheard the owner explain to a lady how to make a relatively easy repair so she could save herself $100.00. That told me that I had found an honest shop. I have seen several examples of that, both to me and other people. They are now my go to gor anything mechanical, but they are very competative with tire prices....I highly recommend them.

Had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend their services! Not only are they friendly, but the guys are honest and broke down what really needed to be fixed and why it needed it. I moved here a month ago and this was the first time I had to get my car inspected on my own. I was very nervous but they made me feel right at home and I was taken care of. This the second time I’ve brought my 2012 Honda Accord to Landsdale Automotive. It is now my go to auto repair shop. They do quality work, quickly, and at very reasonable prices. They do what is needed and not more. They don’t try to up sell you like some other shops do. As they say in their ad before the movies. Take your car to a corporate chain store and bring your estimate to them and they’ll tell you what it really needs. I highly recommend Landsdale Auto.

This place is legit. I got my 2015 wrx new tires and alignment and couldnt be happier. Another tire shop aligned my previous tires and was pulling to the right for a year, needless to say they looked like a cheese wedge, tire wear on the edge was horrible. After Lansdale installed new tires and corrected my alignment, my wrx is driving straight again! Highly reccomend and will be comming back.

Lansdale Automotive was so helpful fixing my air conditioning a few weeks ago when all it would do was blow warm arm in the back. With three kids that ride in the back, I was so fortunate that they were able to squeeze me in right away. The owners were kind, and I felt the price was very reasonable. I also had a plastic seat trim that was broken and they stitched it for me, as a courtesy, so I can now delay trying to get my car into dealership to have the trim replaced. They also checked my cabin filter ... apparently, the local oil shop that I was taking my vehicle to the last four years has never checked it! It was filthy! Thank you Lansdale Automotive!

The owner was friendly, but I was charged $60 in labor for something that he did not do. I ended up receiving a charge of $100 for them to pour power steering fluid into my car. My car didnt get fixed, and the battery died. I wont be coming back here, and am advising everyone that I know not to give Lansdale their business.

We dont trust anyone but Lansdale Automotive with both of our cars. Their service is from another era. Detailed estimates are provided with parts and labor itemized so you know exactly where your money is spent. Honesty and integrity go a long way in todays world, and Lansdale has both.

Honest and local...I took my car in for an oil change, and you can tell they are downright good people. While I waited for my oil change, I noticed the interaction between the owners/employees and their customers. It was like they picked up their conversations from the last time their car was serviced. While this was my first time at Lansdale and my maintenance was routine, Ill be back whenever my car needs ANY service. I write reviews frequently, and I rarely give such a high rating but these guys earned it, and earned my trust.

Called them Monday 8:30am that my car wouldnt start and it could be the electrical. Dave said hed squeeze me in as soon as I could get in. Got there 10 am and he fixed me up right then even though they already had appointments. He found a way to get me a new battery and on my way. All other places would have cost me a rental car and untrustworthy prices. They appreciate the business and are good folks! Will come back for sure.

Questionable pricing... Had my automobile for almost a week and charged me almost 1K in labor due to difficulty in diagnosing. This issue was very specific with very specific symptoms. My bill was ridiculously high overall. 1st and last dance with these guys.

Although the shop doesnt normally work on Volkswagen Diesels, the owner was kind enough to have a look at my 2010 Sportwagen TDI, right at closing no less! Turns out my check engine light was due to a simple loose wiring harness, which his technicians reconnected and I was quickly on the road again.It was obvious from even my brief experience with Lansdale Automotive that the owners take pride in the their shop, their employees and go above and beyond for the customers.

I first learned about these guys when I moved from Copperas Cove to Georgetown a couple of months ago. I am very particular about which shop I take my car to and I really like to feel like I am being taken care of when I take my car in and Im not being haggled or paying for something I dont need. Trust me when I say this... any problems I have ever had with my car (and TRUST ME IT HAS BEEN ALOT) has been dealt with in a very reasonable manner. They know their stuff and thats why they have been in business for 28 years. For someone new to the area I quickly learned that if you dont take your car in right when they open by 9:00 they will fairly busy... doesnt mean they wont get to it that day but you might be waiting till the end of the day. These day and ages people are all go go go and sometimes patience goes out the window when youre in a hurry which I understand but they let you know ahead of time. Ive waited over a day and a half for my car but things happen and you roll with the punches. Just know when you take your car into Lansdale your car is in great hands. Thanks again for taking care of my Five Hundred and hopefully I dont see you guys too soon!

Disagreeing with other reviewers by saying we didn’t have such a great experience with Lansdale. Mostly disappointed with pricing and what FELT like possible attempt to oversell. We admit this was unusual time as we weren’t as involved as usual in seeking service. Husband is skeptical about dealerships and has very limited time for car maintenance because of work, so I did research and trusted reviews. Mistake. Additionally, husband was coming down with flu and our decision making wasn’t as sharp as usual.PROS: Though I felt a bit rushed on phone as I tried to explain problems and ask questions, he was mostly helpful- even more so in front office. After confessing ignorance about cars, I said I thought husband’s CRV needed brakes and possibly a belt replaced. Proprietor explained I needed to plan on leaving CRV there. When I replied I wouldn’t have a ride home, I was VERY grateful and impressed to hear him say, “No problem. We can give you a ride home.” :)Arrived Thursday afternoon as planned and was again asked about symptoms. Did my best to describe sounds vehicle was making and explain performance problems like “dull” brakes “squealing belt.” Admitted I didn’t know what was wrong, but we wanted vehicle looked over and diagnosed. As promised, I was then graciously transported the short distance home in cold, drizzling rain with 10 bags of groceries! No further contact Thursday afternoon or evening.Friday morning was unusual in that husband was home sick with flu, so he heard phone call from Lansdale when we A) we did in fact need brakes, and I THOUGHT he said they’d already been replaced at that point (yet no price yet quoted), B) we needed a serpentine belt replaced, C) a transmission flush, D) new spark plugs, E) the battery replaced and F) an oil change. My husband spoke up and said “the battery is less than a year old and shouldn’t be reading 400 vs 800, and we have regular oil changes based on the computer, so skip those 2 services.” Immediately we were told without those 2 services the total repairs would still be $1975. We didn’t know if this was a fair price, but it seemed AWFULLY high. Yet with sharing 1 vehicle and a case of flu, we just agreed to all but the battery replacement and oil change. Had my husband not been ill, he would have said we’d pick up the car and shop around because he was uncomfortable with 1) the very high price, 2) an auto tech not using the vehicle’s computer vs the sticker for determining when to change the oil and 3) being told the battery needed replacement when in fact, the battery test was done improperly and a battery was not needed. Because of difficult circumstances and poor judgment, we unwisely gave the “ok” to make all the other repairs. (Later research did indicate overpriced services.)Shortly before 5:00 Friday evening we received a call the car was ready to be picked up, so I dropped my husband off to pay for and retrieve the car. A different gentleman reviewed the invoice, and he acknowledged they’d used an incorrect calibration system to determine the battery was going out. I believe he removed the diagnostic charge for it.CONSOur math and the invoice showing $915 for labor equates to about $150/hour, and because this seemed high to us we made phone calls on Saturday. We found auto repair in Austin runs about $85-150/hour, so this does make Lansdale on the high end, unlike other reviewers stated.Sadly, this experience left us with buyers’ remorse and mistrust. We’re not taking issue with service at this time; we just feel the pricing structure wasn’t as fair as some reviewers made it sound, and we felt something wasn’t quite “right” or transparent. In the future we won’t allow illness or time pressure to lead us into making a hasty decision, and I won’t be as trusting of online reviews. We don’t want others as naive as us to have a similar experience!
