They are very nice & actually care about their customers! They do everything they can to help! Patrick & Josh were the two gentlemen that helped me while my car was there. They were very nice & addressed all of my questions & concerns!
Took my 2018 Silverado for an assessment. Met with John, very nice guy..was told he’d order a lamp for me and would call me when the part comes in. He quoted me 10 days. 10 days later I called and spoke with receptionist who advised the part was not ordered and was told John would call me back. Two weeks later, after no call back, I called again and left a John a voicemail. Two weeks after that, called again and left John another voicemail. It’s been 2 months with no update and honestly this type of industry it’s a hit or miss, either you get really good service or not. For me it’s a big NOT. I’ll probably just reach out to the Chevy in Hutto moving forward. Maybe I’ll get better luck.Update: in response to the owners response, your business never completed repairs in my truck. That’s my point never heard from John on an update on the part he said he ordered and he never returned any of my voicemails.
The guys at Hewlett collision did a very good job on my truck. After a ton of hail damage on a black truck I was nervous it could ever look right again. Looks like new again now.Because it was the middle of Covid summer #2 (2021,) there many delays getting parts, which was out of their control. Patrick, my service manager, also had to go back and forth with Geico for two supplemental claims because they never make it easy. Geico wanted PDR in spots where Patrick knew it wouldnt yield good results so he fought until he got the what he needed to replace parts instead of repair.The delays also meant my insurance benefits for a rental ran out. When they did, Patrick produced a loaner for me until they finished the work.I would highly recommend them. I think having a dealer do body work is wise because they understand the Chevy better than independents and they know what it will take to fix it better. Plus they are more likely to stand behind their work years later.Gary Hollowell
Door handle fell off in the great freeze of ‘21. Hewlett VW was so awesome, had to come here. More of the same! Josh, the estimator, made sure we got the best price on the piece, kept to my appointment time, and saved me money from the estimate because the labor took no time. Out the door for $60?! Thanks Josh and the Hewlett team! If they’re gonna bother to give me the best price when it’s that low, can’t imagine what I’d save in a real accident.

I hit a deer with my 2019 GMC Sierra and was unable to drive the truck at all. I had the wrecker take it to Hewlett Repair Center to be repaired. Rod Daigle assured me that my truck would be taken care of. Joshua Smart assisted me with getting my truck repaired. Josh contacted a car rental company and they picked me up and furnished me with a rental during my truck repair. I am 100% satisfied with the repair, service and timeframe of the repair. I live just east of Dallas and had no idea where I could take my truck for repair. Thank the good Lord for Rod Daigle being there when I needed someone. I would gladly refer anyone to Hewlett for their repair needs. Thanks Rod and especially thank you, Josh, for keeping me informed and assured.
Over the last 18 months or so I’ve had to have my Wifes, daughter’s and son’s cars all repaired. Two of them from others carelessness in parking lots and one from this last hailstorm, we sent all 3 to this shop! Their integrity, customer service, excellence and pride in craftsmanship are amazing. I work in the automotive industry and I can tell you that their paint team is second to none! Hewlett collision stand’s behind their work and they have extremely high standards that seem to flow from management, to and throughout the whole team. While I know no shop and no person is perfect, they are as close as it gets! The whole team seems to strive for %110 customer satisfaction and if problems arise they are quick to make it right! Ive taken my two cars (both Toyotas) to the Hewlett Collision Center for body repair on three occasions. The service is excellent and the repairs were fantastic. The cars were delivered when promised and were even washed and vacuumed Patrick Bradford was my estimator and is very professional and thorough in his estimates. Could not be happier with the results.
I had repair work done on my vehicle at this place and I must say they have awesome customer service. My agent was Shy sorry if I mis spelled your name. She is what I call customer service focused and detailed. Love her follow up repore. She keeps you updated on whats going on until its time to pick up your vehicle. I would definitely recommend their services. Also the repair guys did an awesome job looks like nothing ever happened.

They did work on my car and left over spray on my car, bondo dust inside my car and under the hood. They also left a few other issues that Im still dealing with and everytime I call them I get voice e mail and no one calls me back.The paint job and work they did is fine.
So, these folks have been super nice! Getting work done soon so wait for the update.
My wife had a minor fender bender repaired here under insurance. They did a good job except for one piece of trim that ended up getting damaged due to clearance issues with how it was placed on the vehicle. When we took it back they just patched that up instead of replacing it, and then told us it was the old part because insurance said not to replace it. When we talked to insurance they said they were never asked about that part. I dont know who to believe, but it would have been nice if they were more forthcoming with how they repaired the vehicle instead of trying to pawn a patch job off on us.
So took my 2017 VW into Hewlett after backing into a pole. Gene gave me a thorough estimate and went over it. Prices seemed very fair and Gene did a great job of explaining timeframe and what to expect. Wow they got done ahead of schedule and its immaculate....cleaned up and looks great. So courteous - best body shop experience I have ever had. This is the place to go !!!

Jene and his team did an amazing job repairing my car. My buddy has a ZL1 1LE that was involved in an accident, requiring some $30,000 in repairs and recommended Hewlett Collision Center when I had a fender bender. Both cars look good as new and honestly the fender alignment and panel gaps are better than when I bought the car. A+ work and service.
Gabriel and his team were professional, efficient and patient during a time of high stress after an accident. I dropped off my vehicle and did not have to deal with insurance but once. Transaction was as smooth as can be.
My car was in an accident. The whole front end was messed up.. The apple(my car) looked so shiny and pretty..cant even tell its been in an accident. Jene was very prompt and kept me in the loop the whole time while repairs were being made.. I would definitely recommend going to this Collison center!!!

Wasted time coming here, staff wont follow up or return calls, and when you call back you get sent to a voice mail box.Another GM dealer gave me an estimate of $12,000 for the work so off it goes to them. Hewlett? Lol. They dont need the business or money I guess.
Great experience dropping my wreck car off for repairs. Very fast and nice! Lets see how they do with repairs! REPAIR UPDATE: They said they would get me a hubcap ordered and then call me. 2 weeks go by so I call asking about it, Oh yeah, its right here..... ok so thanks for the notification but Ill come get it. I let them install the hubcap and for some reason I didnt look at it until I got home....it DOESNT EVEN MATCH MY 3 HUBCAPS I HAD ALREADY!!!! They are VW specialists and couldnt figure out which hub cap went on my Jetta. I cant believe this ans when I called they acted like it was not their problem and said they would get me one and Im updating this review 4 months later....NO HUB CAP! They over charged us $75 and I have called ROD the manager multiple times ans not only does he not answer or return calls but he made false promises to me in the beginning and Im not happy that he still hasnt called me to fix their error!Updating 6 months later(again): I have now spoken with Rod collision manager, Tom, dealer manager and unfortunately of all Mike Hewlett the owner. None of them will call you back after leaving voicemails, none of them do what they say they will do for you and best of all, Mike is the rudest man I have spoken to at this company which is very sad since he is one of the owners. He talked over me and yelled at me, he got so defensive when I said they have customer service issues and dont like calling customers back when they have a problem. He tried to not listen to me by slamming the phone down on his desk and when I asked why he did that he said, I was letting you finish your thought. So, he wasnt even listening to me!!! Im so beyond appalled at the level of disrespect coming from their managers and owners what a sad day to update a review with more bad reputation stories. They took my $3500 and wiped their hands clean by overcharging me for services and then setting me up with a hub cab that wasnt even right but then couldnt call me back when it was time to call me back to finish their dirty work. I will be leaving negative reviews with the BBB also. They say they will refund me the $99 they have owed me for 5 months now but we will see if TOM ever calls me back today to say he has printed my check for me. Im going to guess that he wont call me back at all.Mike Hewlett is the part owner and all complaints go to him. Funny thing is he wont listen to you, talks over you and then slams his phone on his desk to let you finish your thoughts then hangs up on you after yelling at you. Is all he had to do was listen to my complaint about above stated issues and make sure mt refund of $99 was mailed to me. Instead he decided to not give me a refund or the hubcap so I will be filing complaints with the BBB. He obviously doesnt care. They will be nice until you pay them ($3500) and then disregard anything once they are paid.
Fantastic customer service, prompt and high-quality work. It is the only place I will take my VW after somebody hits me.
Good:-very responsive and helpful with claim.- Jene was good to work with and managed process well, including supplements-Body work guy did an amazing job with paint and rework of fender from previous damage that they repaired while insurance claim was in for hail damage (which i paid for extra)Downside to using Hewlett Colision:-$5000 worth of paintless dent removal and they leave the 3 door dings that were in the truck ( I understand that it wasnt hail damaged, but dont think they are gonna go above and beyond here, after all I even paid extra to fix other body work thinking I was getting my vehicle back to perfect, that was not related to claim)-Jene agreed to fix one dent, but when shown the 2 other door dings, had an attitude about not fixing. If you arent gonna go the extra hour, Thats fine, but dont piss your customer off in the process with an attitude. Never was told there were still dings in my truck that wouldnt be covered. Just told my truck was done, paid my bill, and handed keys. Had to find for myself- paintless dent removal is subcontracted out, not in house. If it is in house you wouldnt have to worry about 3 extra dents...I know because I have had Paintless dent repair before- Again body work was amazing but had to clean paint overspray off tires and front passenger rim from MINOR paint overspray with solvent, something that should have been taken care of in the shopAll in all The work is great here, service was good. I have purchased trucks here as well. I had no problem paying my deductible or paying extra to fix other not covered body damage that was major. But the 3 star rating is for anyone who reads this to be sure you know what is being fixed before signing there agreement to fix, and be sure to check your vehicle before paying and leaving the lot. Few loose ends like trim that was not mounted on my mirror cable, and a seat belt trim that pops off from dropping headliner and breaking tab. I have decided to take care of the last few items myself that were left undone
Unwilling or unable to match the paint on my replacement door. 2016 model VW purchased from Hewlett VW next door. I brought the car back and asked them to fix it, they kept it for a week and returned it with the paint still not matching. Go elsewhere.
Keep getting excuses and dates keep getting pushed back. Always blaming the insurance and never taking any responsiblity. Never communicating other than me calling in. Even after the issues that have occurred I have to call in only to find out i have to wait longer. Tired of the run around and never coming back.

They did a good job with the cosmetic stuff, but it came back with more mechanical issues than it started with, and they couldnt figure those out at all.
