Most of the time they dont have what you go in there for they do not stock their shelves

Nice lady at the register however this store has the same problem all Dollar General stores seem to have and that is they cannot keep enough people there to stock their material and have someone at the register

Used to be a good place to shop now price are too high time to shop somewhere else

No dish racks, no drawer liners, no containers big enough to put serving spoons in. U Boats crowding the walk ways. Why is this store still open. Stock hasnt been pulled to the front. Goodness I cant stand this store.

They could keep a little more cleaner but other then that good people

Drove to this store expecting it to be open until 9pm..small sign on door says closes at 8pm. Seems easy enough to post that online.

Courteous register operator. The store layout is different than Im used to but I kind of like it. Good job. And the only other thing I can say is its cool because its closer to my house than the other one thats a half a mile down the road LOL. They pop up like flies, but thats okay I spent $150 in there today. LOL, overall good store

I didnt actually go here, just was near by, I wont shop here or any dollar General. I had a issue that I reported to store manager, happened again, so I reported to the d.m., still happened again!! By the same employee, so if they will allow customers to be treated in this way, I can shop some where else

I love my Dollar General! Always have friendly, helpful staff. Sometimes the only drawback is when they have digital coupons for laundry detergent and softener, they run out of stock. Other than that, this is one of my favorite stores to shop at!

Im more Dollar Tree inclined to shop. However, who can resist 90% sales, post holidays? What I CAN resist, however, is being stalked the entire visit. I worked as a loss prevention officer, so theyre easy to spot. Fair game. Id simply suggest more conversation with the customers you erroneously profile & babysit, IF you desire their business. Im unoffended, yet unimpressed.

I love my local Dollar General! The store is near, prices are very affordable (even on a tight budget)and I can easily find what Im looking for!

Love dollar general good buts

I must say Dollar General has good sales each week on different items and their employees are very nice. They will even let you know when theyre having a weekend special on Friday Saturday and Sunday when they have stuff marked down 75%

Cluttered, messy, unstocked, only thing good was the nice young man that was our cashier. Walked up to store to 3 workers outside right beside door smoking and gossiping. Was nice walking right in to puffs of cigarette smoke before you go into shop.

They had what I needed, and good price.

Love dollar general stores but this one is never ever stocked up ..stock people leave boxes and merchandise in the middle of the aisles making it impassable for customers to find what they need and this everytime I go.

This is my local Dollar General. I love the products I buy each month. Their quality is always good and the customer service is great.

Just now getting around to do this and I try not to be a negative person but what happened on DEC 24 was unacceptable being that every other Dollar General in Gaston County was open until 10:00 PM the night of Christmas Eve figured this one would be to with me being busy with work and that being the only one around it was the only place I had to stop to be able to finish my Christmas for my daughter I arrived at the Dollar General at 6:57 with a sign on the door and a line of people inside that said this store closes at 7 o’clock the lady Held the door shut kept it locked and would not let me in now mind you I was only going after a sticker book that had crayons and coloring paper I am very disappointed and hope something is done about it me and my family shopped here every weekend we have the receipts to prove it and to be shut out on was wrong

Love DG but this one gives it a bad name. Stock carts always in the aisle, if someone comes the opposite way there is nothing you can do. Super dirty and dust and grime everywhere. Only one register works at a time. I hate this is the one closest to me but I will travel a bit further to the new myrtle school location which is squeaky clean and never cluttered. This store needs help. Also wrote this whole review while waiting in line and there is still 3 infront of me.

Im assuming it is the new manager in Bessemer City is very rude and loud. Has a homemade sign on the door that she claims is new company policy, which I doubt. Will not let you bring your big purses in the store, she makes you leave or take then back to your car. Not friendly at all.

Yesterday June 8,2014... i was kicked out of this store.It all started with an employee approaching me near the end of my shopping experience and she told me that i needed to MAKE my kids pick up the rugs they knocked over, which was fine because i was unaware of the incident until then so i made them go pick them up. Although i did make them pick up what they knocked over i felt that the employee could have asked nicer... as i approach the register i decided to complain to the woman who was rude to me about my children. I asked for the manager and she said that she was the manager, (who i later found out she was just a keyholder.) When i started my complaint she rolled her eyes at me and suggested that i watch my kids better and there are no excuses because she has 3 kids of her own...we began to exchange words about the subject change and i told her that in this career you chose the customer is always right, she RUDELY told me No they arent. I asked if it were my kids fault that STORE BOXES were lying along the aisles... free for anyone to trip over as you are doing what you please and she told me to leave the store. As i was leaving the store, the woman said her manager was there (which i seen a woman standing there.) Once i stated my complaint to her manager she then rolled her eyes and kept cutting me off as i was still sharing my complaint. i told her it was also not professional that customers can walk around and shop hearing the employees cussing because you are in the back room watching some type of videos while cussing about the reaction they must have seen... i heard one say,i bet he got his ass beat while i was looking at the fingernail polish with my 11 year old brother and my 4 year old son and my boyfriend. she then told me to leave. i had walked through the entire store and would have spent 30$ or more just after getting off crutches because of a mowing accident. i had to leave and go to another store to get what i had to get for me and my family.The two woman i dealt with will be hearing my name again because i intend on being the reason of their unemployment. I do plan on complaining to a higher source and i do NOT plan on ever spending another one of my DOLLARS at a dollar general store ANYWHERE! I have worked in face past retail and having dealt with more frustration than a dollare general employee i can say i can function professionally under pressure. I would have gotten fired from actions like this. I will also spread the word of these rude employees!!!!!FIVE THUMBS DOWN!!!They acted as if i was crazy and didnt know what i was talking about.
