I went in to just get my car inspected before I purchased the vehicle and the service here was amazing. Customer service can make or break a business for me, and Daniel was wonderful! I went in for a car inspection. The lady at the front desk greated me as i walked in. She was professional and courteous. I only had to wait maybe 10 minutes while they finished an inspection with another customer. My car was promptly taken back and the inspection was done in a timely manner. No issues at all. I also get the same great service when i go for my oil changes. They have my business.

I work at this shop and it’s honestly the best place to have work done. We literally take pictures of every inch of your car before we touch to show the true condition of your vehicle. That forces every person in the shop to be honest cause there is pic/video evidence and we will walk you out to show you the problem(s). The prices are competitive and we are all fast and efficient. It’s only takes a few minutes longer than other shops because we are taking the time to take pics/videos of YOUR car!

Super nice, got me in immediately so I could travel out of state. I asked them to check the brakes because they were making a noise and made a burning smell. They said I needed shocks and struts instead for over$1400. Got back to my home state and took it to my dealership. The dealership said the shocks and struts were fine but the rear brake caliper was locked up. They said not to drive it unless absolutely necessary until it could be fixed. I do not recommend Meineke any more. They should have told me this and fixed the brakes like I asked.

Starter died on a 2015 Dodge journey and I had it towed here. They want 900$ to replace a starter. Every other auto shop called wants 400-500$ these guys want 900$ for their (apparently) platinum and gold plated starters. Told them I was towing it elsewhere since they double charging for labor (apparently) then they wanna flex and tell me to remove my car today or face a.storage fee which I assume wouldve also been double what it was supposed to be. Take your car anywhere else. Spent close to 2500$-3000$ here in the past year in repairs but I assure u I never will again. Something has changed/went wrong in this store as far as reasonable price or honorable service goes.

They were super friendly and fun. Anything you asked didnt seem to bother them and they got right on it. If the price doesnt seem right just say something about it and they check into it for you and fix it. I will definitely go there again!

Tried for 3 days to get muffler welded finally the welder is there get my car in the shop the guys start saying my tire is falling off and Im thinking why are you talking about a tire when you should be welding a muffler.. Mr Nobdy is my tire guys hands down and when they put brand new tires on there was no issue with any of the tire components stopped by second shop on the way home was told tire is fine...NO EXTRA MONEY MADE OFF OF ME TODAY = WIN

The service was great but they forgot to inspect my tires for the air leaking. So as they returned my car to me I asked about the tire the mechanic was clueless of to the knowledge of it leaking air. The then returned the car to the bay and gave me a answer. Still in all the service was great, staff was friendly and I will return when needed.

Made an appointment to get a new exhaust system installed at 8am. I got to the center and was not told or notified that the welder that was supposed to do the job, had to go somewhere else. Biggest waste of my time.

I made an appointment for 10:30 Saturday morning. I arrived and was immediately assisted. My car was taken in to see what all needed to be done. My wheel bearings were bad which explained the roaring sound I heard while driving on the highway. I also needed back brakes and rotors, a tune up, radiator cap was leaking and my battery was bad. SMH. The price for all was alot but thank goodness they gave the option to finance it and pay off over the next 110 days with no interest. My car drives so good now. Im very pleased with the work and they only took about 3.5 hours to complete.

Daniel, (manager of this location) is very unprofessional, & refuses to take any accountability for his employees, or his own statements or actions. After repeated phone calls, & visits to the Gastonia, NC Meineke location, the initial issue that prompted me to take a recently purchased SUV in for service has yet to be repaired. Daniel (manager) has maintained a very dismissive attitude & tone throughout this whole ordeal, & has made little, to no serious effort to rectify the situation. Save yourself time, aggravation, & money by going anywhere else other than the Gastonia, NC Meineke.

Went there to get a tire fixed that was leaking air since I was scheduled to travel the next day. Decided to get an oil change while I was there. When they were done I went to pick up the car and was asked if I understood why it didn’t pass inspection due to the battery recently being disconnected. I reminded them I wasn’t getting an inspection. She said maybe the tech saw it was due and thought that was why I was there, although she checked and it was inspected by them in November. I asked about the tire and she assured me they did not find a leak even though I said it was losing 5 to 10 lbs of air every 5 days. I got home and checked the tire and it was 8psi low so they never even checked it and it was too late to go somewhere else. I called to tell them what I found and they didn’t even offer to check it if I brought it back. I’ve been going there for about 15 years but will never go back!!!

They are not informed about Uber/Lyft qualifications and then stated that it was illegal to get an inspection for another state... Lol

My front driver side light bulbs were replaced. The customer service was great and the repair was done at a very affordable price. Meineke Car Care Center on East Garrison Blvd in Gastonia, NC is the best Meineke Center for customer service and fair affordable prices. I’ve been to other Meineke Centers but this one in Gastonia, NC is the best.

We had some break work done here. Unfortunately the breaks started squeaking. We took it back & the Manager Daniel O’Briant was so awesome! They put the car in the shop & inspected the breaks. Daniel had a fast resolution & made an appointment for 8am the next morning! When I came for my appointment, Annie (she is so nice & welcoming, not only to me, but also to every person who came in or called while I was waiting) acknowledged me & assured me again that it would be taken care of ASAP. 1500 for a catalytic converter and some exhaust work, and still have the same issues as before.... 2 weeks later, still have exhaust issues . Found broken bolts, and still not sealing. They told my wife we needed a different gasket than what it called for. I found them, when she took it back to have it fixed, apparently all the mechanics called out that day but 2. I wouldnt even take a bicycle there to pump up a tire now.

My poor old truck needed a whole new exhaust system, due to my rigging of it over the years. They installed a whole new set up up (re-used my mufflers) from front to back and its beautiful. Despite how long it took they still kept it under the quoted price. Typically for exhaust I have always gone to mom and pop shops and, avoided corporate, but for at least this location I will definitely be recommending!

They changed the wrong tire after I told them what I needed done. Other than that the customer service was great. I would use them again.

The front desk lady was really nice and helpful. However I believe that’s a part of the ploy to sell services that are not needed such as an oil change flush. Also the lead mechanic needs to change his TONE when speaking/ explaining to customers and not be so aggressive. Under the new management the prices are too high.

I would give 5 stars but I took my truck in to get a state inspection, oil change and to have the drivers door window motor replaced. I was given an estimate of 220.00 for parts and labor for the window. I had already had it checked and knew it needed a new motor or regulator... when they called to tell me my inspection and oil change were completed they told me the window repair would be over 600.00!!! She said the part was 120. Which was what she had told me two hours before and that it would be 2 hrs labor which is she had quoted me 1.5 before. I’m like how did that add up to 600? She couldn’t explain. I told them no don’t do the windows repair. When I picked the truck up they had not even checked the window see what it needed. It was just that it was Friday afternoon amd they didn’t want to do the work!

My visit was during the covid pandemic. They were observing masks and social distancing. I have used their services for the past 10 years and I have always been given the same great and fast service. The waiting area and chairs were clean and comfortable. The lady was prompt and friendly. Professional and knowledgeable. I was in and out in a timely manner. I will continue to be a customer for a long time.

I always feel like I am treated honestly when I visit. They had a little trouble getting my parts, but I feel better knowing my son is safer in his vehicle now. The report that was texted to me showed me the areas that needed attention. I was surprised how expensive the brake jobs were, but I am always satisfied with their work.

Took my motorcycle to get inspection done and they worked it in quickly and even rode it in the bay their self and completed the inspection. Its great to find a place that will complete a motorcycle inspection without having to go to a charlotte dealership. Great attitude and very professional.

Just moved from California, Meineke provided Fast Service and Phenomenal Customer Service from Jeff! As a Christmas gift for my sister I paid for her car to be serviced. Last minute decision driving down the street and found Meineke, will definitely be back for other car service needs.

Ask for a synthetic oil change and I dont think it was because the mileage they said for the next one doesnt reflect that. I think the prices are outrageous and I will never go back.

Jeff and his team have been working incredibly hard to make this shop the best in town. Not only were they able to diagnose my trucks issues, they made prioritized recommendations on what needed to be addressed and at no point did they try to upsell me on anything that wasnt absolutely required. They tell you how things are straight-up, theyre courteous, and theyre timely. All I can say is that if your vehicle needs any type of service, this is the place to take it. Theyll treat you like youre family.

Ive only had one experience/service with this company. They were a little more expensive than expected but needless to say they did the job promptly and accurately. When calling ahead they tell you to bring your car in and they can get you in but once you arrive they tell you that theres a wait and theyll work you in. No appointments-1st come 1st serve.

Went there because I already knew I needed front brakes. I had been taking my car to Tyndol Ford since I purchased it from them. I trust their experience. Josh, in Service Department has always been up front with me in reference to what my car needed. I was told at my last oil change that I was going to need front brakes and he quoted me $180.00. So when they changed my oil yesterday he told me bit was imperative that I get them done. He said rotors were fine but that if I went any length of time on them past yesterday that rotors may have to be turned. I went to Meineke for a better price. I have had dealings with Meineke in the past and was always satisfied. The told me to get a quote I had to come in, was just 10 min. from Ford so no prob. It took about 45 min. for a quote. The quote was $403 and some change. To rich for me. Told her I would just get it done at Ford. She said the reason so high is because I needed new rotors. I looked at pics they sent to my email. I didnt see it. I asked if that was the case could the rotors not be turned? She went to ask. The guy told her they were to thin ( Whattttt!). Told her again I would go back to Ford (180.00+tax). She asked me to wait a minute. She came back and told me they could do brake pads for $185.86, that was with tax. So I got it done at Meineke. I was pleased with my new pads but not to pleased with the way I got there.

I dont normally take my car to get worked on, I am normally one to fix it myself. But I recently got out of the hospital and on light duty. Jeff convinced me to bring my malibu down. These dudes checked my car over, and got me back on the road with a quiet car in no time. I will definitely be back, its hard to find such good help!!

This Meineke always takes care of me and my company car. Fast service and everyone is very nice and super professional. Excellent prices and they always accommodate me being hard of hearing.

Receptionist complains a lot about having to wear a mask... but whatever. Major problem was they refused to replace my brake pads due to minor striations on my 1-year-old rotors. The guy said hes not a pad slapper and wouldnt just slap new brake pads on unless I bought rotors too... like he literally refused to do the job. So I left and Jiffy Lube had no problem doing a great brake job for me.

Manager was most rude person I have ever met in my life. To work with public he needs different job. They work done only reason 3 stars.

They took care of everything in a timely manner. But then they sent pictures to my phone telling me that were all these different things wrong with my car and I have different leaks going on in my car and my car doesnt leak anything at all. If my car had any oil leaks or any other kind of leaks I think I would see it on my concrete driveway. Not sure why they told me this stuff even in the pictures you cant see any oil leaks or anything
