Had my 2002 Buick LeSabre Custom body work done and painted. It looks beautiful now. Bob and Jimmy are great to deal with. Also had my boyfriends door reattached and repaired on his Honda Odyssey van. Had to duct tape the door on, to get it to the shop. The paint was coming off with the duct tape though, and hes been near death in the hospital, and I wanted to do something nice for him. So I had his van painted, too. Just picked it up last night and it is beautiful now! Susan Ladymon
Overall, I am happy with my paint job. A bumper to bumper paint job for under $2k is very hard to beat. They matched the paint to my old color and there were few defects in the paint. I had to take it back to have some ripples in the clear coat buffed out. I also had an issue with one side of the windshield trim coming loose and what appeared to be spear coat sprayed on one of the door handles. Mike was very accommodating and helpful but unfortunately they were not able to fix the trim or remove the glossy finish on the door handle (reason for rating 4 stars instead of 5). I would definitely recommend this Maaco to friends and family who are needing an inexpensive paint job.
AVOID THIS PLACE! DO NOT GO HERE! I took my car to get a new bumper installed and painted. Bob told me the process would take 1-2 business days. After the second day I called and they told me they will call me back! They did not call back! This place does not follow up with their customers. They will lie and say that they will call u back and they dont. I had to call them ! It took them over 2 weeks just to install a bumper and paint it. Ok, so now I have picked my car up after its been over 2 weeks and now my lights are not working! Bob tried to lie and say it was an error on my end and then he tried to get me to pay for it to be fixed when they are the ones who messed my lights up because when I took my car to them my lights was working fine ! Customer service is horrible! They won’t call u back and they will continue to lie to u telling u your car will be ready and it won’t be !If I could give 0 stars I would!
Michael Burt always takes care of us and he’s extremely professional and knowledgeable about his industry. I don’t know what they’d do without him.
Great service, very quick. My first time coming to Maaco but I will definitely be back for the next service I need.!!!
A great experience with David the estimator is very helpful and friendly delivered a professional service. My only complaint is the color of the paint looks a little bit different from the original on the car.I will recommended Maaco.
Great job on our 1998 Ford 150!
Mike did a good job in what insurance company allowed him to do. The workbook my bumper was good. Friendly guys in office.
My Nissan had a repair done on the rear of the car. It was left perfect and clean. Great job.
U can get damage done at a good price .
Good place, reasonable prices, just very slow! They had my car which only needed a bumper replacement for 7 days! Initially I was upset about them keeping it so long but once I got the car back and seen the work I was satisfied, they did a good job, they even cleaned my car inside and out plus put on my license plates! Good customer service!
Excellent service and Mike and his staff gave me a great deal. I will definitely return to do business at the shop. My car looks great.
I recently brought my 1998 Toyota Corolla into Maaco to be painted & they did a wonderful job on my car. My car looks like a brand new car and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend this Maaco, they were professional and I received my car within the window frame they initially told me when I came in for a estimate. Bring your car into this Maaco you want be disappointed, I promise.
I really would like to thank the staff Maaco in Garland. This was literally the best experience when i say they were very professional and patient with me they definitely were that and more. I am more then satisfied with my whole experience and with the hard work and dedication from the staff performed. I would like to thank everybody there for the great experience. My car was tan and is now Nardo grey and I love it.Sincerely A Satisfied Customer Rickelle
Hello, we got back a second car that my family and I have had painted at this Garland TX Maaco location. I dont like leaving negative reviews!Everything I am posting here is the truth and can be backed up by evidence. Dropped the car off on 4/22/2019. The first car that we had painted there Approx. three years ago turned out amazing and its paint is holding up nicely. I was expecting the same quality to be done with the second car we sent in to be painted. Well that was not the case for the second car.My family and I picked up the car on 4/26/2019 and overall it looked good at first glance. Before they brought the car out they had sprayed it down with water so there was water dripping and water spots all over it. My family and I were there at time of picking up the car, a total of four witnesses! Robert H. the salesperson mentioned he did not like how well this car turned out compared to the first car we had painted by them. He said this in front of my family. He later has denied saying it! If he did not like it then he should have made it right before having us come all that way to pick it up. We live in Athens Texas and it is Approx. 2 hour drive there and back. Overall it didnt look all that bad at first glance. The guy that drove the car out to us didnt appear to speak a word of English and was rude.Whoever painted our first car three years ago was a great painter and I wish that painter was the one who painted our second car. We drove two hours back home and realized on the passengers-side door there were two good sized paint runs under where the door handle is. Also there are paint runs on the front bumper, rear bumper, passengers-side fender and roof. The rest of the car their is no amount of buffing and polishing will fix it. On the drivers side door above the handle is someones hand and palm prints when they touched the paint when it was still tacky. There are also paint streaks on the roof, hood and spoiler area of the car, due to the gravity feed paint gun not being adjusted correctly. Maaco of Garland Texas is wanting to blame us since all we did was sand the car down and prime it for paint. This car has a straight body and was garage kept the majority of the time since weve owned it.Robert H., the salesperson said due to the body prep and the primer we used it was causing it to soak up too much of the paint and that is why there are paint streaks. The interesting thing is I used the same primer and techniques on the first car as I did on the second car. The first car we had them paint three years ago turned out great. Even in the receipt we were charged $99.95 for universal sealer / primer that was suppose to be sprayed on the car before painting it. If they used the sealer then there should not have been any issues with the paint being soaked up by the primer. So its our fault there are paint runs, streaks and a persons hand and palm prints in the paint etc... This business refuses to take responsibility for anything they do and place blame onto the customer. If we lived closer we would gladly take the car back to them to fix it. On second thought, the real question is will we trust them to do a good job repairing the car they messed up/destroyed. My answer is no, im sorry to say. All trust with these people and this business have been broken. Their quality has gone down hill. What I see happening is they are hiring people to do the body and paint work at this location that dont know what they are doing or simply dont care. Sorry Maaco youve lost customers and our third car that will need painting coming up since the clear coat is coming off we will take elsewhere! In order to repair the car you all destroyed is going to require paint stripper and the paint to be completely removed all the way to the metal to fix it. The bumpers sanded down and the entire car primed and repainted. More time and money out the window! Currently working on getting a full refund and are getting the run around!
Great value to repaint hood, got me in quickly, and delivered on time. Great quality too.
Painted my daughters Honda Accord. Did a great job! Car looks awesome. Very pleased.
I had to get my bumper repaired, service was efficient. Turn around was as projected, would definitely recommend this location.
I was a first time customer of Maaco. I was highly sceptical because over the years there has been what some would refer to ascheap looking or tacky paint jobs based on lower price points, but let me honestly say that Mike and the guys did a wonderful job on my vehicle and I am well pleased, again, also at a great price. They were very punctual and cost efficient and my automobile looks great. I highly recommend their services.
I was on the verge of signing up for a car note because the exterior of my very old toyota matrix car was gone. The car runs great but the exterior was nothing to write home about. I wanted a cheap paint job to revive the car and decided to give maaco a try and I didnt regret that decision. Although I had to pay a little above what I budgetted but when I saw the quality of work done, I was impressed. Michael at the garland maaco shop was very nice and professional. He addressed my little concern in a timely manner. This is the place to be for your paint job.
I was apprehensive at first. The clear coat on my daughter car was shot, too far gone to sand and recoat. I chose the preferred paint package. No regrets, great value and 5 day turn around!
If I could give more stars I would.! They went above and beyond what was quoted on my daughters car. It looks better than when we originally purchased it. I will be a return customer for sure. Thanks for doing such a fantastic job
Was a great experience from day 1 to the last day very professionalI had a grand marquise painted for my son first car he is very happy thank you 🙏🏿
They allowed a night time drop off and a quick check out.Now the assessment of the paint work done:They redid our hood and it looked like new. They did a courtesy cleaning in the interior and a few PDR from hail damage. They did a great job and were great to work with. Aside from paint repair, they do other work and I recommend working with them.
Terrible customer service didnt know what they doing damage my car in overprice me
My right side mirror got knocked off my 2016 Toyota Camry...fixture and all. Took it to Maaco and received a new mirror...and great service at a reasonable price. I will go there again. I highly recommend them.
Did a really good job painting my truck.
From the time I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and Polite staff. They were morning happy to walk me through each and every step of the process. I will devil recommend anyone to go to make a Garland.
Work was done and completed on time even doing it over Thanksgiving holiday
My Dad just had his ugly old Dodge Ram truck painted Red and it looks AMAZING!Michael and his crew did a GREAT JOB and my Dad says it was at a really reasonable price too.I’m not embarrassed to ride with him in it now : )Thank you MAACO!
I went in with my bumper to be painted, I dont know who hit my car and so insurance wasnt really an option for me. The damage was really minor and the bumper just needed to be re-painted. Maaco charged me a very reasonable price for this. They even let me just leave my bumper there, so I was still able to drive my car to work. First I had gone to my dealerships collision center and they wanted $1,900 for something so minor. Im glad I left there and came to Maaco. The people there are really nice. No BS place. If it happens again I know where to go.
Took my 87 Beemer for minor body word and color matching. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the color matching. Dealt with Michael, who is the consummate professional. Really knows his craft.
Did a great job on remaking my car. Thank you so much
Very good experience. The work performed was superb. Worth every penny.
Michael did a very good job in repairing my Santa fe.
Wanted an inexpensive paint repair for my bumper. The paint job looks great. I would give them 5 stars for my 18 year old bumper but they wanted to charge me almost $600 “to do it right.” To get anything close to an advertised price, you have to negotiate with the repair center. Tell them it’s an old car and you want to leave the bumper on and just the paint with a one year warranty. That means no clear coat, etc. Once you’ve negotiated for a $230 bumper paint then you can get somewhat close to truth in advertising. I only went there because I knew of their $399 car painting advertising. That’s just the cost of the paint folks, not for them to spray it on your car!P.S. Franchises are independently owned, so shop around. You may have to drive to a neighboring suburb to get the quote you want! The more you know...
Wonderful experience, great staff, will go back for all of my auto paint care needs
Fast and friendly service, the price you pay is the price you agreed on, no added on costs. On top of that they did an EXCELLENT JOB on my sons car. I will always use MAACO.if you want the job to be done right the first timeYOU TOO BETTER GET MAACO
This Maaco location is awesome! Always speak to Bob. He will notate EXACTLY what needs to be done thoroughly so, the workers are able to establish the exact repairs. They finished my vehicle in an EXTREMELY timely manner. I dropped my vehicle off 2 hours before their closing time Tuesday evening, and got my vehicle back as beautiful as ever Friday morning. I believe it starts with accurate documenting of the vehicle, that way the individuals behind the scene know what to do. I pay attention to the ant sized details, and they nailed it. I knew Bob was a great person when I saw he had a liking to fish and CATS! :-) Very much pleased, I also received an OUTSTANDING price. They got er done! This will be my location for my vehicle repairs from now on. March 24, 2017. Thank you Bob, and also, the workers behind the scene. I surely appreciate you!
Very courteous and honor their warrantyWould highly recommend
Excellent and quick work done on my new car that was deep scratched by garage door. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them!!
Micheal was great. I asked a lot of question and he had clear, to the point answers. He made my vehicle look new again. Thanks!
Bob at Maaco did an excellent job on my jeep. I couldnt be more pleased! He noted exactly what i wanted done to the vehicle, and the process went quickly and smoothly. Vehicle was finished in a timely manner, and most importantly, it turned out GREAT. Job well done to Bob and his crew at Maaco!
Very professional, did amazing work. Michael is awesome and extremely helpful! Thank you all again
Weve used them twice with different owners. Both times the paint jobs were very well done.
Not a place I would recommend to anyone who is paying cash or no insurance, but they practally give away base coat/clear coat paint jobs.
From the very first time I called I was very pleased with the level of care received. Robert quoted me a price and was very thorough and helpful. I appreciated the rental car deal suggestion. My car was done in a very short amount of time. I could not be more pleased with the customer service and bodywork.
Friendly, professional and experienced employees. Very reasonable price too!
Im seeing some people had some bad experiences, and I can understand why, but I took my 2004 mustang up to Maaco and they had it done within 3 days. It looks absolutely brand new compared to the awful shape it was in before. Bob was very helpful and gave me a fantastic deal on the paint job. Im very happy with the results
Excellent workmanship. Manager & staff extremely helpful & courteous. Would highly recommend this shop for any paint & body repairs.
Very prompt and easy to work with. They painted my whole car including a fiberglass body kit. It came out very well and was cheap. Great service!
Bob is the one in charge, hes extreamly rude, no customer service. My vehicle got hit and they did an estimate. They completed the estimate right under the 60% value of my vehicle so it wouldnt get totaled and they would get the job approved by the insurance company. When I got my vehicle there were some parts that never got exchanged only painted over but were originally approved as part of damage to exchange those parts. They claimed they used the money on other parts of the vehicle that werent part of the estimate. They did that to pocket the rest of the money. Bob claimed that if they had added the other parts to the estimate, the insurance wouldve totaled my vehicle. What makes them think that they can make the decision to get either my vehicle totaled or not? Hes a crook. So much for spending a lot of time to research a body shop with good reviews to end up with a horrible experience. I hope you guys do your research better than I did.Cutting corners to gain profit is not good for your business.
I am totally satisfied with the work that Maaco did for me. My car looks as if its a New Car.. Michael Burt assisted me, he was informative, funny, friendly, and Professional. I will recommend Maaco to Anyone.
I went here a couple years ago to get my 93 GMC painted. And was promised great service...which i got until i left my truck there. I was told itd be ready in 3 days it took 6. Then i get my truck theres paint on the window trim due to bad preparation (taping). And they didnt put my stripes back on and when i called to complain they said the stripe replacement was extra. So i said never again with Maaco no matter how good the special sounds.
Great quality job at a very reasonable priceI highly recommend this shop for Paint and Collision Repair
Bob/ Robert took great care of me and my car. They told me exactly want they could do for me and they got it done. I came in today and my car is beautiful. I am very happy with the work theyve done. I will tell everyone I know to come here if they need any repairs for their car. I wanna thank Maaco and the staff over here at the Garland location. Thanx a lot
I highly recommend this Maaco location! The quality exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased when I picked up my truck. Bob the owner was a pleasure to work with and so was his staff! I have absolutely zero complaints about the work performed or the staff. Thanks to all
This place is in chaos! if you want trouble-free paint job done on your car, there are better places!Got my truck painted here. They lost the screws and hooks to the truck bed insert. Promised to fix, but never followed up.
Was told $ 499. First. When got there. The quote came to $ 844. Guy help Jay . Was not happy at all.Did not Do It . To expensive for a Corolla
I had a 2008 Honda with factory defective paint that was peeling really bad. It was no longer under warranty, so I wanted to freshen up the car for my teenage sons. They did a great job with sanding and prepping. I did not find any overspray on the windows or mirrors. This Macco wanted to make up happy and for a $399 paint job, I thought it exceeded my expectations.
Incredibly disappointed in the unprofessionalism between both managers and the fact that our truck has been in their shop for over 3 weeks and we were promised one week. Getting the run around, stating one or two repairs had been completed but after making a surprise visit, nothing had been done except the priming. We have been lifelong customers for well over 25 years. Not exactly sure where things have turned south in their establishment but this is something we will not tolerate.
The paint and bodywork I received from Maaco, Garland was beyond my expectations and a great value. The car is 15 years old and now looks as good as new! Harry and Robert are great and delivered on-time exactly what they promised. I would definitely recommend Maaco, Garland to my friends.
Mr. Peterson was 1 if 3 estimates. Sevice King and Caliber Collision. I saved over $800. The work is great. Car was detailed and washed. I got a nice discount at enterprise who was also awesome for doing business with maaco. The got me in a day early and out a day early. 7 days on the dot. I’d been told 10 and 13 days elsewhere. They made it very easy. They’ve reconditioned a vehicle a couple years back for my mom and I’ll go back when needed.
I would highly recommend this location for your auto painting. Bob Peterson Assit.Manager did exactly what he said he would do and the paint job on my Dodgetruck is excellent and a fair price below the competitions prices. Bob tells me that they are rated #3 in the US and I got to disagree. I would say their number #1.Go see Bob for your Repair and painting needs you wont be sorry you did.
Really had an excellent experience. Robert worked with me to get the color I wanted at a very reasonable price. They were on time with what they said they would do also
I am very pleased with the customer service and my car looks great Ive received so many compliments on my vehicle and I definitely will be doing business with them again
Not even 1 star. I am a commercial customer and have had many paint jobs done on my vehicles, and these guys are a joke. Painted the car the WRONG COLOR, took 2 months to do a basic body and paint job and then overcharged by 50%, Im sure to get some money back on the incorrect color which was entirely their fault. Bob, the idiot manager, not owner, admits to getting the quote wrong and even told me that some of their guys dont even know how to pull a dent properly! Seriously, go somewhere else, their BS is not worth the aggravation. Pathetic losers.
Fast friendly service from everyone. Truck was ready on time as promised. Price for service was great! Would highly recommend for any paint service.
Great Service, Fair Pricing. Will definitely be using them again.
5 - star. I have had 2 accidents and had my car fixed at Maaco. They did a great job. Robert is the best. He did a great job on getting my car done right. Hats off to Robert.
Robert and Cheyenne made it a smooth process! My cars new paint job looks great!
I received a warm welcome from, Jennifer.
I took my SUV here for a repair due to an auto accident. In addition, I had a full premium paint job done. I was promised the sun, moon an stars an received none. I was told about the companys rewards and rave reviews as well as the high level of service and quick turn around time they could offer in comparison to the competition. Well, they failed miserably on all accords. The Customer Service was less than desirable and the work was sub par at best. Although I have a lifetime warranty on the work that was done, I will take my vehicle elsewhere for those service needs.
I am very happy with the quality of paint used on my car. The paint looks great and new. Must say the good customer service is the key at Maaco.
I would like to say I am very pleased with my paint job. And I am happy with your service. I would also like to say the guys that helped me with picking out the color, telling me about Maaco were amazing.
We took our vehicle to the Maaco located in Walnut Street in Garland, Tx. The vehicle was painted the wrong color. After a few discussions with the corporate office and Bob Peterson, we are happy to say that the problem was fixed. The vehicle was painted the correct color and the paint job was well done. The vehicle looks great.
The quality of the work is very good and the owner is a good guy. It did, however, take two weeks to do the paint job, which sucked. Id still probably take my car to them even though, I think, any other place would never get my business again for taking so long.
Maaco painted a new set of Harley bags for me. The guys at the Garland location matched the paint perfectly and did a fantastic job. Ill use these guys over a custom bike shop any day. Thanks guys!
Worst experience ever, they had to repair it 3 times, i had to make 3 different trips out here. The manager Robert is a lunatic he was rude shouting and yelling at me and hurling insults. Can’t believe there still in business poor workmanship and insulting staff. Stay away
Great job. I would recommend this Maaco to anyone. The guy I dealt with was Robert but everyone was friendly and very professional.
I am one of your customers. I like the customer service in the office from everyone. They are very helpful and available to help me. Good job on the cars keep it up!!
Great service and a great price. Professional work. I love the way my car looks.
My car was repainted and Maaco did a fantastic job. My 2005 looks Brand New. Thank you Maaco for doing a wonderful job.
Assistant manager has serious memory problems, no one in the office can fill out the required work orders correctly, and the quality of work is horrendous. They were supposed to repair debts and repaint my drivers side bed and part of the cab of my truck. They didnt my fix all the dents, forgot to paint the cab, and left a rippled and amateur looking paint job on the part they did paint. The staff then told me I could take it to their guy to have it color sanded and buffed for an extra fee since they dont do that there. However, as soon as we walked back into the office I noticed a sign stating the color sanding and buffing was part of the damage repair process they offer...DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!::UPDATE::The manager, Robert, spoke with me and agreed to complete the work on the left side bed panel, repairing the dents which were left. However, when they were buffing the new paint, the went too deep with the buffer and put a grey mark in the paint job. Robert told me I have to wait another two weeks and then take it to another Maaco shop to have it fixed under the warranty.
Very fair price, turnaround was quick and the work was good. For the price and quality its hard to beat these guys.
This shop was great about helping pick colors on my classic car. They did great at explaining the levels of work that I could get.
In this shop I experienced bad customer service and poor quality of job which no one expects even from road side amateur shops. I took my car to the shop to change passenger side rear door, tail light and front bumper. They gave me estimate and I paid more than 55% of the estimate ahead to order the part. The manager, Robert promised me three days to call me back when the part comes, but he didnt make it almost for two weeks until I call him back and check out if the part is available. The worst experience that I had is after the job done. The first thing they replaced wrong tail light, I talked to manager told me to come back to get the right one, when I checked the work done later I found that it was unprofessional. The door rubber was loose and broken because many clips were lost. The paint finishing on the door edge was not good. They didnt put back some smaller rubbers like child lock one, they didnt clean some paint materials from door panel, door pillars. Most of all what pissed me off was all of them the manager, assistant manager and technician were so defensive. The technician took a picture of broken door rubber when the car was in the shop second time to change the wrong tail light that was after my complaint and tried to argue with me that the rubber was broken before. My question was if it was before why you guys didnt include in the first estimate or later after the work started. They didnt have answer. The manager was telling me lame excuses for all their faults, and blame shift to technician. As a manager he has a responsibility to handle the customer complaints in a reasonable way. It doesnt make sense to me when you complain and if the manager tells you that it is someones problem. Since he represents his company, he is responsible on behalf of the company and the employees. My advice to all of you, dont go there!!!!!! and dont waste your money and time for unprofessional and poor quality work. I promise you, I will never take my car to that shop anymore.
They did a very nice job
Car looks great. There was a little discrepancy on the estimate and these guys took care of it without a problem. 100% recommended.
I called to get an estimate to have my truck painted Bob told me it would be $550.00 I said ok, took my truck in for the job. When I arrived Bob said that the price I had been quoted was Maacos price and it would be $800.00 to $1000.00 to paint my truck. My vehicle only needed straight forward painting because the clear coat was peeling. Bob was extremely rude and unprofessional please avoid this place at all cost.
Horrible place to take any vehicle of quality they paint peoples cars wrong colors dont fix accidents properly etc etc. Robert is a decent guy and responses to reviews but they are way understaffed cut corners alot take very long time on jobs and his hands are tied. Just save your time and money and dont be the one that says i wish i would of. Yeah Im sure out of a 100 jobs they do 70 percent right but why risk being the other 30 percent thats just to big of risk. Also if you want to complain its much better to call corporates 800 number they will notice owner directly. Thanks
I was skeptical but they did an absolutely superb job and had is ready for me exactly as agreed upon. They will put a smile on your face. They are very cost competitive.
Truck was in deep need of paint with uneven finish prior to new paint all paint blended nicely. Well worth the money. Staff was very cordial.
Great service, truck looks awesome. Appreciate the honesty, integrity and customer service. Highly recommend this shop!
Maaco did an amazing job on my car. Highly recommended. A+
Bob and Robert did a wonderful job finding me a sunroof after days of trying. They never let me down.
The paint job was great. They did however tear the gasket surrounding my sunroof. The manager gave me a discount for that. The real issue is that all of my change in my coin holder was ripped off. I dont usually think about that exept that I use it at the drive through and when I reached for it getting coffee it was empty. I can honestly say I have never ever had the change stolen from my car. How sad and pathetic that a person needs to steal change. Stealing is stealing so I would not recommend this business to anyone I know.
