There are few coffee shops in Galveston that can make a killer espresso and this is the best. Baristas are friendly and very skilled. Not a long wait here, they keep it moving fast! Other assorted drinks from smaller companies no giant corporations represented here. The history of the building is fascinating too!

My wife and I had a little getaway, and on the last morning on the island, we had to get local coffee. This was a cool little coffee shop. I do have to say I was hoping to have my doppio espresso in something other than a paper cup, but I suppose my head is stuck in the old days. It was remarkable that the coffee was roasted on-site!

Nice place to grab a coffee and snack. Good selection of drinks and delicious snacks. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Outside seating and dog friendly.

Wonderful coffee stop! We got specialty drinks, the nightwalker and the high five. Super delicious and went well with our breakfast of almond biscotti, buttered croissant that was softer than my bed sheets, and kolaches that were way more than your standard donut shop ones. The service is great and the vibe is cool. I even got a holo sticker since I love supporting local shops.

Super cute place. Great location. The cold brew was not it though - I got it w/ oatmilk and Ive never tasted anything like it..they must have a strange cold brew recipe. Their ice cap was really delicious and their chocolate croissant was super chocolatey & fresh. They did have some other drinks that looked alot better than the cold brew. Ill remember that for next time!

This place has such good vibes. We stopped by the place while we were in town for a anime convention and my friends keeps talking about how good her cortado was. I had a delicious dirty chai with oat milk! The blueberry bagel was tasty and nicely toasted too. The staff were super friendly and were so glad we impulsively stopped by this place before the event. We will definitely return when we come back to Galveston.

Such a beautiful space. Modern living inside a historic looking property. Clean. Well maintained. Options for seating indoor and outdoor. At least 5 different styles of seating. All it is missing is a sofa and coffee table. Light music is playing. Free wifi. College kid hangout.

I am normally disappointed in smaller coffee shops, but the coffee we got here was very good! My family has drastically different orders, and all our drinks were great. The guy we ordered with was super interactive and patient. I wish we were local, we would definitely be back.

We enjoy the atmosphere, and their attention to being green. Our coffee was great the first time, buy just good the second. Everytime though, the baristas have been extremely kind, gracious, and friendly. Oh and the yogurt and granola parfait was so delicious!

I had a pumpkin Spoookey spice (as recommended by the very nice counter person) and it was delicious. Very friendly atmosphere with excellent coffee.

Stopped in after doing some historical research in Galveston to wait out traffic and found them on Google. I had their iced latte and their house made hibiscus basil drink. Both were phenomenal. I sat and worked there for about an hour. The large windows provide amazing natural light and plenty of seating. Both of the ladies working were kind and inquisitive with the guests. Really amazing and knowledgeable. They sell bottled house cold coffee, which I didnt pick up but it sounds so good. They also roast their own beans on a bi-weekly basis.As a Houstonian who loves coffee, this joint will definitely be added as a stop every time I come back to island!They also have agave fiber straws- I absolutely love that! Such a great detail of care.

Barista was super friendly and helpful. Their drinks were awesome and parking was free and easy. I enjoyed the hive five, hubs had the hibiscus Basil tea, and we sat outside enjoying the breeze long enough to go for a second round. Delicious!

Amazing lavender latte. The lavender syrup is made in house and offers a unique twist on the latte. They should sell the syrup it is incredible. The latte was also made correctly. Great flavor.

Went in a few times now, $5 for a cold brew! Thats too much $$ only 3 at other places. other time paid for warm milk and a shot of espresso which was meant to be a cappuccino. There was no foam. I mean none!

After the day we had this was a perfect break. The feel of the place when we entered was welcoming and the staff was eager to answer any questions we had. Im not so much of a coffee drinker as my wife is but I still taste everything she says to try. She got the Night Walker, a mocha-inspired coffee. If I was going to start actually drinking coffee regularly Id probably start there. The coffee was really smooth.I had a London Fog. You really cant go wrong with one of those. So if you didnt know that isnt even coffee. Its Earl Grey tea with milk and a hint of vanilla.They roast the coffee right there in the store. You can actually see the roaster there by some of the tables. Roasting doesnt really take very long, just a few minutes, so most of the time it just sits there looking shiny.We sat for a while at the shaded tables outside and moved to the hanging hammock seats after a while. We really didnt want to leave but had places to go.Parking was super easy. We were able to park just a few steps from the front door.As far as cleanliness, everything was kept up and nice.This place is a must if you are in Galveston.

What’s a misto?Just cool guys and coffee. Like out of a movie. No board with prices or fancy names. Just tell them what you like and they make it. We had espresso, iced coffee drink and a version of a misto. All were excellent. Will definitely be back.

Great coffee, and its roasted on site. The staff is awesome and always helpful. They have a good selection of coffee creations, some snacks, wonderful granola, and cold drinks in the cooler. If you want to take home the taste of Red Light, they sell a few different varieties of roasted coffee, and will be happy to tell you whats coming out of the roaster next and when. Stop on in, youll enjoy it.

Excellent little coffee shop! The atmosphere was nice, and the whole place lightly smelled like fragrant spices. This will be my go-to coffee spot for Galveston. Kolaches had real cheese in them, so thats a plus.

Checked out this coffee shop when we first arrived for vacation. We were not disappointed! The baristas were knowledgeable and moved the line quickly. My oatmilk iced latte was SO good. They use the legit espresso machine I was trained on as a barista 20 years ago. We ordered ham and cheese croissants which were also soo yummy. There’s inside and outdoor seating, so there’s something for everyone.

As a brazilian and coffee lover it was a good surprise to have a proper espresso. I am not giving 5 stars because I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and it was terrible.

This cute coffee place is still quite new and fresh. The staff is very friendly and nice. I had the cappuccino and it was delectable. If I have to wait somewhere in Galveston again, this will definitely be my pick of location. Or even just if I wanted to meet nice and smiling people!

Food and coffee are good, not the best in Galveston. It is the one of the only places that has been open during the pandemic.However everytime I come here employees are very rude. I waited once to sit and do work, was told I could not sit at a certain table and told to leave due to capacity. I totally understand these issues during the pandemic, however a minute later someone else came in and sat at the exact location and was welcomed by the employees.Bottom line: good coffee, don’t expect good service

This place is a good midpoint between places like Mod Coffee and Galveston coffee roasters. Not all the fancy drinks like at Mod but better coffee bean variety than at Galveston Coffee. A good place to get a type of coffee you havent tried before. They also offer espresso.

All the coffee I’ve tried has deep flavor without ever tasting burnt, reasonably priced and genuinely nice staff. Try the Johnny Cash if you need a good caffeine boost and want something REALLY tasty 😋 Y’all have been a caffeine savior during finals time!

This place was awesome till last Wednesday, when the coffee was lukewarm, have been here several times since they opened about a month ago, went downhill really fast.N
