Great Experience .I have been committed to buying used cars from private sellers for 20 years, in large part due to a deep and ingrained mistrust of car dealerships. When circumstances aligned to make a new car purchase a better option, I dreaded setting foot on a dealership. Dealing with Classic Ford was a huge and wonderful surprise: they were forthright, friendly, and worked to get the deal done. They never tried to mislead me, which was my main fear in dealing with a dealership. I hope to have this vehicle for many years to come, but when its time to add to or replace it, Ill call Classic Ford first.

Love the car! Love the dealership! Picked out a car on Friday told Mark Brown I couldn’t come look at it until Monday. He called me early Monday morning and told me not to make the long drive up because the car had sold on Saturday. I appreciate him not jerking me around. Drove up Monday met with Mark Brown,he didn’t know I was coming.He took great care of me gave me plenty of time to look over his inventory. I found a great car. Talked to him about it,made the deal and Brown was on my way.Thank you Mark

Last week I brought in my Ford F-150 for service (oil change & brake pad replacement) at the time scheduled by the Service Advisor Sam previously. I arrived at 8am and dropped off vehicle. At 4:45 that afternoon I called to check on my truck since I hadn’t heard anything and the Service Advisor Sam said “the mechanic didn’t come in today so nothing has been done”. I asked if at least the oil change had been performed and he said nothing. I asked him why I wasn’t called to say it couldn’t be worked so I could at least have my truck back for transportation and he said “well I was busy”. He said he would arrange a driver to go to my house to pick me up so I could get my truck but then called after 5:15 to tell me the driver left for the day so I would have to leave it overnight or have a neighbor take me to the dealer. Needless to say I was furious but I asked a neighbor to take me to pick up my vehicle. Suffice to say I am no longer a Classic Ford customer and I will tell everyone I know to never go to that dealership ever again. I understand an employee mechanic didn’t show up for work but The Service Advisor Sam should be fired.

Other dealers always try to upset and make you spend all day buying a vehicle. Classic was awesome. I found what I wanted on the internet. Called them and 2 hours later was on my way home in my new Ranger. I will gladly make the drive to deal with them in the future.

I did not purchase my vehicle here, but the Classic Ford group still took care of me as if I did. The woman working behind the counter is very nice and will try to assist you with anything you need or want to know. I personally have only dealt with two of the three maintenance advisors, but I can say that both Sam and Alex are both extremely professional and are very knowledgeable. They have a driver named David who is also the best. He will be able to drop you back off home and pick you back up if need be. Only issue is the website could use a little work. It will let you schedule an appointment basically any time any day even if they are already swamped that day. One of the advisors will promptly call you and let you know and try to schedule you in for a better time but an improvement to the site would mean employees wouldnt have to go out of their way like that. None the less, the services are fast and reliable.

I highly doubt anyone will contact me regarding my concerns and there are too many for me to type in this survey. Best bad deal! Drove 200 miles to make a deal at Classic. Mina was our salesman that helped us with our deal online. He cut through the bull and got right to the nuts and bolts of the deal. No dealer add on’s, no etched vin number on the windows, no extras I didn’t want or need that dealers in Austin wanted to hit me for as much as $2500 on top of the sales price. In today’s market with inventory as low as it is, you have to try and get the “Best bad deal” you can.Classic Ford had the best price and the staff very friendly including Debbie in finance, and not pushy at all. The wife and I are always looking for an excuse to go to Galveston, now we can add one more reason and get our new F350 serviced while we go to the beach.Thanks Mina and the folks at Classic.

Found a used truck on autotrader and decided to make the drive out to Galveston to check it out and visit the beach. I figured I would take a look but did not have my hopes up. I visited unannounced and walked the lot. No pushy salesman bothered me. I asked the front desk for help and Bridget Gutierrez promptly came out to greet me. She quickly got me the keys and drove me to the vehicle I wanted to see. She took my license, handed me the keys and told me to come back to her desk when I was done. Awesome service. She had my trade evaluated, got the numbers crunched, we signed our papers and we were on the beach 90 min later. Easily the best and quickest experience I have had at a dealership and I have been to plenty. Thank you Bridget Gutierrez!

I came in because my battery had died and my connections were corroded. They fixed the connectors in a day. They could have told me my entire cables needed to be replaced. They could have charged me a ton of money. However they did not. They did a quick and cost effective fix. This has happened multiple times here. This is why this why I will always go here to get my truck fix.

I hate buying vehicles because of the negotiations. I always feel like I’m getting taken, but Classic Ford and their no haggle pricing on my pre-owned Infinity made my buying experience pleasant and easy. I checked the pricing while sitting there and they were very competitive. Joe Singleton was very patient with me because I really didn’t know what kind of vehicle I wanted when coming in. First time ever been in a Ford dealership and it was the most unpleasant experience, they try to charge me 800 dollars to fixed a transmission recall on my 2012 f150. I took it to McRee ford and they didn’t charge me anything, and problem fixed. Don’t go to this dealership.

When he found it, he provided all the info on the truck to us so we could decide if it was a truck we wanted. It worked out well and I just got the new truck yesterday.

I would choose another place if possible. First they are always so slow! I had an appointment at 8:30am on a Tuesday, when I called Tuesday afternoon they hadnt even looked at it yet. They then said they would call me at lunchtime Wednesday, I finally got a call at 5pm but by that time I couldnt get it until the next day. It was honestly ridiculous, why make appointments if you arent even going to start looking at a car until a day later. Second, they have very poor compliance with masking. Most employees I saw were not wearing masks or constantly pulling it down.

I’ve tried to set up appointments online to get my car looked at for a problem with the AC fan. I left an email address and a phone number, but never got any kind of follow-up. Eventually, I decided to call and see if they could set up an appointment over the phone. They tell me to bring it in on the Thursday before Labor Day. I go there, wait about 15 mins or so and they tell me what the issue is and that they’ll be able to fix it by end of the day/early next morning. The next morning comes, and I hear nothing. I call and they tell me they haven’t even looked at it yet, but they’ll get a guy “right on it”. Hours go by with no news, I decide to get a ride over there and surprise, surprise, no one has even gotten to it. I tell them I can’t not have a car on Labor Day weekend so I’ll just have to bring it back another time. The guy there says he’ll “keep the ticket open” so they can call me when they have an opening. It’s been weeks and I haven’t heard anything. This leaves me in a bad situation because my car is covered through them. If I go anywhere else I’ll have to pay out of pocket and I shouldn’t have to do that. I’m not mad, just disappointed.

They are always courteous and very fast. I have had all my F150 service done at Classic Ford. Never had an issue with the service and I get a free car wash on top of it. The service advisers are great and the work is always completed when promised.My only complaint is with the cost of Ford products and their reliability. This last oil service they advised that I would need new lug nuts. The truck is a 2016 model with less that 90k miles. The cost of the lug nuts was outrageous and I find it hard to believe that they do not last longer than 4 years!!!! I am sure Ford knows this is an issue but has done nothing for its customers.

We were attempting to buy a truck from classic ford from another city. We found the truck online and contacted them via phone to ask if we could do the process online and they said we could. Once we did the application we had to contact the salesman to get any type of information. He said he didnt have any and would call us back. He never did, so again we contacted him and he said they needed further information which we provided. Again days passed with no contact. I was alerted that my credit was being ran by this dealership multiple days in a row so I called them to find out why. The salesman I spoke with didnt have any information and was supposed to have a finance manger call me back - they never did. We were still never contacted about the truck and when we went online we discovered that the truck had been taken off the website. We called and spoke with a manager named Taylor- he advised us that the truck had been sold. We were never contacted by the salesman about this and never given any type of information about what was going on. When we tried to make a complaint to the manger we were blown off and he acted as if he did not care. Very disappointed in the customer service we received and the lack of professionalism the staff had.

He was very professional from the moment I spoke with him on the phone to set up my appointment all the way through the process until my truck was ready (ahead of schedule!). David Wallace was awesome and very professional. He didnt bait us. Galveston Classic Chevrolet placed an ad online for a 2014 KIA Rio and when we called to inquires and set-up a test drive, he responded that the car was still available. He said to call before we drive from Pearland, TX to ensure that the car was still there.This level of professionalism was unheard of in our experience of trying to buy a car in Houston. Car dealership would tell us that the car was there, but when we arrived after over a hour drive the car wouldnt be available or it would have been sold the night before. Internet sales are not at the dealership and would bait us. We live south and was driving North of Houston and to Katy that was far in traffic to be baited.We test drive a 2014 KIA Rio. This car was for our daughter and we didnt want to blow our budget. We like the car and had financing though our credit union. We complete the paperwork and David had Terry in financing to prepare the paperwork and submitted to Gulf Shores Educator. It was on a Saturday, but after 12 pm and our credit Union auto loan department was closed.They didnt try and push us to finance the loan through a different finance institution. He took the car to the back and marked it sold. We brought our daughter back that same day to test drive the car and we saw a sign in the front windshield with our name on the car and it was marked sold.Monday, David called us to tell us that our loan officer was off and that the loan could not be processed until Tuesday. They held this car from Saturday until Tuesday for us until the credit union could process the loan. Gulf Shore Educator submitted the draft for payment on Tuesday morning. When my husband and daughter arrived to pick up the car, David had it washed and gassed with a full tank for her.This group was very classy and I will buying my 15 year sons car from them in 1 year.By the way, we took the car after buying it for a multi point inspection. The car is in top notch shape. Classic Chevrolet of Galveston put on new tires and brakes. The mechanic couldnt find anything wrong with the car. He said, that we bought a great car.

I was very disappointed with my experience as I never heard back from them. I was up front with my credit score and that I was upside down on my trade in. They gave me hope by what they told me but I never heard from them and the sales rep never returned my calls. I am born and raised on this island so I try to keep my business local. I would have rather been told that they couldn’t help than to be ignored. I do however love the service department and will continue to have my truck serviced but I will not buy from them.

Especial thanks to sales man Mina Baher he was beyond helpful with everything and his will to negotiate with me really helped with my decision. Pertaining to parts and service:I went to get a estimate on installing an aftermarket leveling kit on a f150... all 3 service people there could not give me a price and then told me that they dont recommend it because the new model f150 was not designed for leveling, that a fair portion of people who had classic install their aftermarket kits came back within the month with front end issues and that the leveling voids the warranty... After leaving classic I called the dealer from my hometown (where I originally got the vehicle) to verify the information and was informedA.) They offer a leveling kit through their dealer which doesnt void the warranty (since its through the dealer)B.) Since leveling is just a spacer it would not cause problems with the front endC.) The only reason people would have to come back so soon would be due to the part being installed incorrectlyHowever, other than the lack of knowledge they were friendly and trying to be helpful

My vehicle is still under basic warranty. I have had to pay for two repairs that I believe are not normal wear and tear, buy defects. Also, was unable to address an issue with the paint job under warranty.

I want to say thanks again to two wonderful men Bobby and Ryan they went above and beyond for me even when I was yelling!! Bobby didnt stop trying to figure out how to help and when he did the district manager Ryan was already calling. He took care of the issue in 3 minutes!!! Team work makes the dream work!!! I wasn’t prepared to purchase a new car, but, I am currently going through a divorce, and I found myself suddenly needing a new car. Brandon, my salesperson, helped by identifying vehicles having the largest rebates available because I had no money to put down, and I had negative equity in the car I owned jointly with my soon- to-be Ex-spouse.We selected a beautiful Ford Fusion, but I was so consumed with worry over my situation, I really wasn’t heavily checking out all of its features. I test drove the car, which drove like a dream, and I bought it. Having a car in my name only was a huge relief, and it was what consumed me that night.I’ve had my Fusion a little over a week now, and I have pleasantly discovered just how amazing this car’s features are! For instance, my automatic headlights also auto brighten and dim, I get a warning to pull over and rest if the car notices swerving, my wipers automatically detect how fast and often they need to wipe my windshield, I get a collision warning when someone cuts too closely in front of me, and I’m sure there’s much more. I need a day off just to read my owner’s manual and learn all the wonderful things about my new car! I was forced by my current spouse to purchase a car I wasn’t prepared for, but Brandon sure did help me find a perfect car!

David Holmen was fantastic! He had my wife in and out of there in no time. We had a test drive and agreed on numbers within 30 minutes. It was late in the day so we came back the next day and everything was ready for us. The car was washed with paper plates on it already and all we had to do was sign the paperwork. We still got out of there in no time. Overall it was a great experience. I will always work with David and Classic Autoplex moving forward.

The service department did a super job with my 2003 Thunderbird! Older cars are tricky sometimes, but they did a wonderful job replacing her cracked gas tank. They have a highly professional, experienced team.

My 2012 Expedition has 2 recalls and the service tech told me I would have to leave it for two or three days because they get backed up. I was asking to make a reservation 4 days in advance. I guess they just don’t want to do recall work. I live on the Island and would prefer to deal with Classic but I suspect I need to go elsewhere.

Galveston Classic and all of their dealerships are fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We never felt unwelcomed, out-of-place, or forced into uncomfortable situations. They were honest and we were lucky enough to find our perfect truck here. We got a great price and was able to take it home very satisfied with a great deal.
