I will just say this is a fabulous shop to visit and Mr. Harry will explain some fun facts about some of the antiques. I didnt know when I walked into this shop today that a kind gesture would have such an impact on me that I literally had goose bumps. In fact I almost turned down the one way street when I left I was so beside myself. Thank you to the special angel that brightened my day.
I am so blessed to work for a lady that has a rich taste for histories relics. In the store right now we have weather vanes that have been aged with time. Showing colors like money cannot buy. There is a glass washboard with the rolling pin. And a wooden drying rack, perfect for a beach house yard display to dry those sandy beach towels before they get inside. The list could just go on.. So come and see. Its free to look.Open Mon. 10 to 5:30. Thurs. Fri.Sat 10 to 5:30. And Sun 12 to 5:30.
Didnt have a good selection and high prices
Were absolutely in love with this antique shop. The owners are very friendly & knowledgeable about all of their items. We only had a few dollars to spend on this particular day, but were still able to find something. (a dainty little tea cup & saucer) We planned on returning today, but a dentist appointment drug on longer than expected. Anyone with a little free time should definitely pop in & browse around. I have my eye on some unique Halloween items. 😉👻👽👹🧟🧙🎃 We love the way the back area was set up like an actual dining room, frozen in time.
Very nice store, my wife found a piece of pottery that she just loves, the owner is friendly and helpful.
This place is great! All of the antiques are fairly priced and diligently vetted. We had the pleasure of meeting Francis St. John earlier tonight. She took down our requests and is going to personally hunt down what we are after. Couldnt be more pleased with the service and the hometown feel.
Best antique shop in Galveston! So many interesting things that are true antiques, the store is well organized as well. Mrs. Frances is a wonderful woman!
My husband and I were thrilled to discover an antique shop we had not been to before. I couldnt help notice what an exceptional collection of fine items they have. This is not your ordinary antique store, but rather a carefully gathered cache of treasures organized by a knowledgeable person.
This is a beautiful place to find cherished antique items to buy. The owner is helpful and engaging. The vintage luggage set I purchased is in mint condition... a great find!
Really enjoyed this place! It’s not a large space but they do have a variety of things to sale. There is local history, period history, glassware, kitchenware, vintage clothes, collectibles, tins, medical and coke cola and much more. Store owners are very friendly and enjoyed chatting with them.
Cute little shop with a lovely book collection. My husband and I enjoyed our chat with Dorothy and appreciated the restaurant recommendations.
We were amazed at the collection of books, ceramics, and silver. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back soon! This is by far my favorite antique shop in Galveston.
Wonderful antiques! Always find a treasure each time we stop by for a visit. Nice store layout and great staff.
This is a great antique mall with a wide selection. I collect kitchen ware, and this store has a lot of it! The store is clean and easy to navigate, and has a friendly staff. We make this our first stop for antiques when we are in Galveston.
Wow this place has so much to see. It was a good visit. Employees were awesome.
So many amazing bits of history and amazing collection of old books! Im in love
This is a wonderful, high quality, unique store that will definitely take you back in time. I loved this place.
Very nice store - everything is actually pre-1950 per the owner. Good selection of items including toys, medical, clocks, jewelry, etc. Guy friendly. Nicely arranged - you can actually see everything.
Man owner is a gouch. Over priced. Very rude over the phone. Wouldnt reccomend.
I would not go here again. Just nothing interesting.OkDo not recommend. Not really worth the trip. Sad to say but it seems like they dont put too much effort into the store. On the plus side theres not alot of foot traffic so its easy to move around the place. I would not go again and have no plans to do so, unless I gotta go to the bathroom.
This place is awesome!
Love all the items. A plus
Amazing! Went with a couple of friends and the store is the cutest! Costumer service was the best.
Really nice antiques. Friendly folks running the place.
My cousins wedding. First time in this beautiful old church.
St. Johns Antiques is a newcomer to the Galveston antique scene, but they have a nice collection of antique metal and plastic toys for Christmas, Halloween, and other holidays; fiestaware; stoneware mixing bowls; Depression era glassware; furniture; and other interesting ephemera. The owners are friendly (they went into their bathroom for some dental floss for my wife) as is their Pekinese puppy who often wears costumes. These are some of the highest quality antiques Ive seen in Galveston so far even if they can have prices to match that expectation.
Nice store with lots of choices.
Super great place with great deals. Thx for your hospitality
Few good finds but a little pricey
Great place lots of vintage items
The lady is super sweet and loved her little saying, “We don’t like to bother our customers but we love for them to bother us!”
REALLY nice welcome and a nice variety
One of the best antique stores in Galveston.
Staff is great and greater antique finds
Rude owner bad customer service on the phone as well. No thanks Ill go elsewhere.
I know the rent is probably driving the prices up but wow!! Be ready to shell out $$$ for $ or $$ items.
Great old stuff
Great place to shop
So much to look at!
Love this place!
Overpriced.
