Really cool place for architectural pieces, i.e. wrought-iron fences, old 🚪 doors, 🪟 windows with wavy thin antique glass, door hardware, knobs... There was the usual plates, tables, lamps, cookery, 🛋, trunks, childrens furniture, ⏰, 📻, chandelier crystals for fixing missing pieces, and on and on. Fun place to check out.

Large space with lots of salvaged items from Galveston. Perfect place if you are looking to rebuild / restore an older home or if you enjoy the weathered look of doors, windows, wrought iron items. They also have glassware, depression glass, collectibles, cast iron cookware, art work and lots of furniture of differs periods. Upstairs was once a hotel, so lots of rooms with furniture and decor. Nice place to check out.

We were in Galveston on a Tuesday for a visit and to do some antiquing. It is not the best day of the week as most shops focus their opening hours around the weekend. We walked up and tried the door and it was locked. As we walked away, Scotty knocked on the window and told us to come around to the side door. He invited us in as he was there working on some things. We enjoyed looking at everything and found an old crock we couldnt live without. He spent some time telling us about some of his woodworking projects. Well worth the trip.

Great place! The building itself is an old hotel with antiques in the many rooms. There are salvaged antique mantels and wood trims, sinks, hardware etc that would be great for remodelinga home. Its down by the harbor which is also fun to see.

A really fun place with a great selection, and wonderful proprietors to boot. The building alone, a former brothel run by a Black madam, is worth the trip.

Review №44

The history of this bldg. Is fascinating itself: 19th century brothel with the original business license framed (somewhere). 2 stories, with literally dozens of rooms filled with every kind of collectable you could imagine. Downstairs, and various places throughout, youll see beautiful pieces of furniture made from reclaimed wood by the owner here onsite. He also manufactures to order. You could spend hours here and not see everything. It is literally a treasure hunters paradise. You have to be intentional and methodical if you are shopping, not just browsing, because the right thing could be lurking anywhere. A great, fun experience which I highly recommend!

Review №45

I used to love this antique store. Well worth the hour and a half drive. Walked in this morning and the entryway is practically blocked and somewhat dangerous. My mother made the mistake of commenting on the negative change in their store and the employees called her rude, insulting, and that didnt want her business. While I understand no one wants to hear negative comments, telling a customer who spends quite a bit of money at thier location they dont want their business is unacceptable! My favourite antique store is now rude, crowded, and dangerous to walk in to. Wont be coming here again, but according to the employees they dont need the business anyway....
