BEWARE -PRICING HIKE!I used to choose to bring my car for service here, but will no longer do.Pricing for the same service went up 45% ($74 now for just a semi-synth oil change!) and does not justify coming here - at this point, Im being charged more here than the dealership.The cashier could not justify or explain this price increase other than a lot of customers are complaining about this price increase but theres nothing I can do.

I went in for a tire repair and was told that I could either make an appointment for the afternoon or show up and wait probably 1-2 hours to be squeezed in. I went and ended up waiting 2 hours to be seen. Once seen, my tire was deemed unrepairable but that the other tires, being relatively new, should have comparable tread and I wouldnt need more than 1. Great, reliable, and honest service!

I scheduled a appointment for two days later. The day I was to go in the belt in their tier changer. Again they called be two hours before my appointment and let me know. Third time was a charm for me and they took care of me!

I had 4 tires installed plus wheel alignment back in 2018. Went back for periodic tire rotations which were free. I went back again today for a tire rotation and took advantage of the courtesy check for $10. They do not try to take advantage of you and push services you dont need. Overall I have seen good service and good value at this location.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Dropped off a car with a flat at 12:40pm on Saturday. Was told that there were only a few cars ahead of me and that they’d call me when the car is done. The shop closes at 6pm — I didn’t get a call from them, so I showed up around 5:40pm thinking the car was ready. I ended up waiting ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF! The incompetence from the staff is unreal. What is the point of appointments if nobody follows them?? Never going to this place again. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME!

Great place for maintance.

I really used to love and like this place, these guys were always honest and respectful when it came to simple or complex work. Sadly it seems that the staff has been changed and now they just harrass and dont value customers anymore. I typically get my tires removed from my car for 30-40$ a process that has always taken them a max of 20 min but seems like now they charge $88 to just remove your tires and nothing else. There goes another customer !! I would not recommend this place anymore.

I’ve been here many times and usually happy with the service. Not sure if there has been a change is staff or management but definitely had a poor experience this time. They have horrible time management. The lady at the front desk was very nice and I appreciate that and did her best to update me.

Well!! What a S__T Show!!! I have utilized this Tire Plus for services previously, set of 4 and repair of tires with excellent results and customer service.. What a DISASTER this place has become!!!! .. Ordered tire need for vehicle, appointment to be installed the next day! Show up and drop of vehicle for tires and alignment - 8:30AM. 3:00PM no call, so I call to get status.. NOT DONE! They close at 6:00PM. Show up at 5:30PM.. Car is still parked the same place I parked it in the AM.. 4 tires and alignment will take 1.5 hours minimum.. and not touch with 30 minutes remaining.. NEVER AGAIN !!! I should send them the bill for my time..

Most inefficient staff ever, I am not sure how this place is making profits, Went for a oil change, they said it’ll only take an hour, it took them more than 4 hours to get it done, I was looking at the guy who worked on my truck most of the time moving extra slow, chatting around with the guys, adjusting the music player Time to time, wasting time. They charged me only $49 for the oil change 49/4 hr = they made 12.25 per hour with the cost of oil, and i am sure the technician must be making minimum $20 hr, that business is a pure loss for them. Not to mention when I asked to check on the progress from the girl at the front desk, she didn’t even acknowledge me as a customer, act like she don’t care, never respond so i had to wave at the guy through the window and ask my self. The manager was a great guy and he was helpful.

Got to work with a flat tire. I had just brought new tires last summer, so I was very concerned about why the tire was flat. Luckily Mr Tire of Gaithersburg is one mile from my job. I went over there and they discovered a nail in the tire. Within 30 minutes Allen and his crew fixed and repaired my tire for next to nothing. Their shop is very welcoming and the service is excellent. I’ll definitely be back for any and all my tires needs. Thanks guys.

I can not comment on prices vs other places, but the service is good, employees and the employees are very nice. It took longer then expected to replace the tires in my car but the mechanic explain why in detail at the end and they were upfront with prices. Would recommend.

If you want your car to be properly serviced and cared for DO NOT BRING IT HERE. I came in to get an oil change and transmission fluid flush. I watched the mechanic servicing my car from the guest room and saw him purposely pretended to perform a transmission fluid flush. He connected the lines to run the flush only to do a simple drain and fill 30 minutes later. He also seemed to struggle to find the drain and fill lines.After everything was done. They forgot to put the splash guard under my car back on. I had to ask them to do it. They failed to put back all the retainers and clips. I had to replace them all myself. Extremely uneducated mechanics with little drive to do good work.

Had to come here 3 different times just to get my car properly aligned. Every single time they aligned it, either my steering wheel wasn’t straight, or the car wasn’t driving in a smooth straight line. Never coming back here.

Took my car here because there was a problem with my brakes. The service I received was very professional. They dont attention to time, even if you scheduled already, they dont do all of the services including the oil change and just mark them as they do, I will never chang the oil of my car there. I was watching of them when they changed the oil, and they just checked the tires air, but they told me were doing everything, they even not check the level of oil after changing.Generally as a customer I dont like to go there any more

Went into this this Tire Plus site after being refused to put used tires on my car from Costco where they were absolutely no help at all. My guy Jeremy here was more than willing to go out of his way to check out the tires I had and made sure he could help me out anyway he could. He was honest and straightforward with me in regards to their policies and was able to help me out with exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this place to someone in need of tires or if you have your own, they were extremely helpful. If you go here definitely ask for Jeremy because he gives excellent customer service and you will leave very happy!

If I could give them a minus 4 star I would. My daughter sat there for four hours waiting on tires and at the end of it all they put her old tires back on because they didnt her hers in. They claim that the inventory was off, then they went trying to get them from another store and still nothing. FOUR HOURS for nothing. And the store manager name Lewis was the one working on her order. This is Very bad business and do not recommend this location to ANYONE for tire service.

Luckily i didnt get scammed by this placed. Showed up to see if they could repair my tire and the dude, with terrible customer service skills, told me it was not fixable. And that in fact, i needed not only that tired with the nail replaced but all 4 tires. Im not a fool, decided to take my car elsewhere and got my tired replaced for 15 dollars . Scammers.

Years and years take me here with different brand cars we owns...and always the service was outstanding...but this last I was with my Jeep Commander all wen wrong...new people around and look are very busy...when and person talk with you answering at sane time the call by phone..they forgot what you ask and job is not down perfectly the way was...I give five stars because Im loyalty to them...and I will give them another chances!!

Went here because my wife did and she’s usually good about her business choices. Unfortunately for me this one was not so great. I did get a good deal, but the estimated 1-1:30 timeframe was off. After 2+ hours I was able to get to my next appointment....late. Not bad,not great. I would not recommend if you are looking for stellar service. Otherwise the job gets done. Also gave me a discount for lateness so that was cool.

The store manager Hugo is one of the best human beings I hv ever come across! I had bad experiences with mechanics, garages etc.... BUT NOW I FEEL LIKE I FOUND HOME!!!Tire plus is very fortunate to have Hugo as he has an excellent bedside manner, extremely honest, and and simply humbly. It did take quite a bit longer for the work to be completed than their original estimate of time but I think that may have been due to an issue my car had that they were trying to fix. However, I dont feel that they were disingenuous with what needed to be done and took the time to explain my options and their findings. Overall as a woman taking my car in to have work done, I felt like I could trust them and felt comfortable I was not being ripped off. I will definitely be taking my sons car in to be worked on in the near future.

Went in for an oil change and alignment. Waited 2.5 hours and paid for both. Noticed right away when driving home that the alignment was still off and oil change light was still on in my car. Went back and was told that the alignment wasnt even done because of another issue with my car. Didnt bring up oil change light because I know how to reset it. Awful communication in this store. Its ok that they werent able to do the alignment, but I dont understand how the mechanic didnt pass on the info to the front desk that it couldnt be done.

I have been coming to this location since 2009. The staff here is always so friendly and warm! Hugo, the store manager is very knowledgeable and sincerely cares about explaining the service that are needed for my car. I recommend this place to anyone that lives in the area.

Tires Plus saved me when I made a sharp u-turn and blew a tire on the curb. Luckily, I was right in front of the store and pulled right in. The staff came out to look at the problem, explained what was needed to me. Then kindly repeated it on my cell to my husband (it was his car). They fixed it same day and at a very reasonable price.

Okay so I had 4 tires changed today... Guess how long it took... 7.5 hours. Not a typo. 7.5 hours for 4 tires. Was told I would be out in 3. Save your day and go somewhere else. Just sayin...

The most terrible auto service place.I’m writing a negative comment now because my experience at this place has been terrible. I should never decide to go there when my friend said they had a bad experience there.Tire plus told my friend they wouldn’t rotate the tires because they are LAZY ( what kind of business says this to a customer ????) I went there anyway just to justify the experience and just because this place is closest from my house.I waited hours to fix my front lights, but what they said after all was they were out of stock for my car. They’d have to order it somewhere else, and it will cost over $500. They should have told me this in the first place. After all the hours, and they did nothing done for me. I’m never going back to this place again. I fixed my lights at Toyota Fitzmall for better price and the experience was great. If you are looking to change tires, go to Walmart or go to other auto care!!!

Very rude sales person and not being helpful

Fast and great service dropping off, would have gotten 5 stars. However after waiting 30minutes to pick up the car pretty frustrated, they need to have a second cashier to help with rushes. There are 7 people standing around, most ready to pay and leave.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. Between my wife and I, they have cared for 4 cars in that time. I trust them with my vehicle and other than a couple of hiccups (in over 10 years) everything has been flawless. Hugo the manager is thorough, friendly and aims to please all customers. I stopped going to my dealership for service, as these guys cover it all better, cheaper, faster and without the bait and switch that the sharks at the dealership do. Be patient and courteous with them, come with something to read or play with. They will take care of you. I am very satisfied.

Honestly, you may want to go else where.I hate leaving bad reviews but the experience was just so frustrating. We have enough stress in our daily lives and jobs we really dont need more headaches, especially when we are charged such a hefty price. The employees did NOT communicate with each other, therefore the job that was to be done was not done despite specific instructions. They didnt bother to let us know that the car wont be ready by the time they originally told us, so theres a wasted 1 hr trip(30 min each way) Going back to Costco for tires

Save your self the time and money. Do Not Go Here!! I came in for a simple puncture on my tire. They had my car for 3 hours and then called me and told me they do not have the plug to fill the puncture. This is a tire shop!! and after 3 hours, calls me and tells me he doesnt have the plug. I would not recommend taking your car here.

This place was great until they let go of their awesome manager Hugo (because he wasnt selling parts?!?!) After that, service is not the same. My car doesnt feel right. Sometimes theyre down to one mechanic to service all the cars for one day, and one counter clerk whilst the other talks forever on the phone in the back office. They push parts on you that your car doesnt need because they need to sell parts. Looking for another service home for my car, basically. Wish I knew where Hugo went to.

Used their services to replace my tires today - was told it would be an hour, maybe 90 mins top and it actually took 3 hours - no apology or discount. Tires were good quality though.

I have been using them for several years now mostly for oil change but you cant trust them. Some of their associates and mechanics are reliable but some just BS about unneeded services. Be very skeptical and get a second opinion.

Great customer service! My wife was preparing today to leave for a long drive home and was worrying about what looked like a low tire, so based on prior recommendations, I sent her to Tires Plus. They put her car up on a lift, examined not just the suspect tires but all four, verified that they were OK, set the pressures, and sent her on her way, no charge. Put our minds at ease quickly and efficiently (it was less than an hour from when she called, worried about the tire, to when she called saying shed been there and had it checked).

My intention was to give them 2.5 stars at best. Just make sure you booked online and drop your car there instead of waiting there. You wont like what you see there.It was my first time there and I just dont like what I see there. I was there because I got a nail in my tire and thats why I chose to wait. For more than an hour I waited there, I saw how their staffs work there. Basically, they walked somewhere else after every 3~5 minutes work, or they lifted one car down and moved it to another lot and lifted it up again. Thats basically what I saw the entire hour and thats when I realized even a simple patch work might take forever... So, I decided to just called a USER and dropped my car there then picked it up after work.

Compared to what other auto places in the area try to get away with, i.e. charging the DMV life tax along with some females are super dumb about cars tax, this place provides fair prices and good customer service. I was told by another auto shop how I needed to change my brake fluid because it looked dirty from the outside (not what I came in for); when I came to this Tires Plus, I told the guy working on my car and showed me a test strip that demonstrated it in fact was pretty clean. I wish other auto body shops would stop trying the squeeze a hundred or two from customers every visit and theyd actually have a stable fanbase.

Wanted a place to take my vehicles for routine maintenance, purchased $700 in tires from them. My last time there,I spent 3hours even with an appointment. I saw a woman who must be a regular talking to everyone at the counter and going in and out of the garage. My vehicle was brought in to a bay, tires removed on lift, I think they decided to get woman in and out ahead of my vehicle and others. After walking outside 4- 5 times, walking around the corner to see my vehicle just sitting there, the manager finally acknowledged me. I was told they tried to contact me (I was waiting there), technician ran the scan, brakes are good and it costs this amount. Needless to say, my emergency brakes still dont work, I saw exactly what went on, and you want me to believe you serviced my vehicle. I was not charged for the scan. Brandon is helpful, but wasnt there that day.

If they are too busy to take walk-ins, they should have proper communication.Dont waste your time going here without an appointment. Unless you have all day to wait.

Visited for wheel alignment. Was going to purchase lifetime contract for that but they tried to charge additional fees was not on their email quote. When the work was completed they didnt inform me wasted two hours. They didnt have records of the work and they took a screen capture and texted it to me which still doesnt prove they worked on my vehicle. I heard other customer complaining that they used regular engine oil instead of synthetic.

My husband cut his tire on a guardrail and need someone to exchange the tire from the spare. They was do helpful and cheap.

5.5 hours and three attempts to properly mount tires: Went in to get (directional) tires mounted, took over an hour despite having an appointment. One of my tires was mounted backward and my front tires seemed to have lost air, so I went there again to get it corrected, with an appointment, and it took over an hour before they even touched my car. They didnt find the source of the leak. Had to go back a third time because I found the leak: a valve stem they installed would stick in the open position. Another hour plus. Bad experience. ):

Had to go back in and made wait to just look at the tire for any leaks. They have no idea what they are doing. Came in this Sunday with a nail in tire. I waited at a empty front desk and when a guy finally comes out he says no jobs can be taken due to only 1 tech is working and its only 11am and they close at 5pm supposedly.I went to Autozone and picked up a flat tire repair kit for $3.99 and fixed it myself which took less than 5 mins to plug the hole. Whats the point of being open if you cant service customers or advertise by appointment only. This location will not get business or referrals from me going forward.

I will not be coming here anymore. I was the second one in the door at 7am. It took them 2 hours to let me know that they couldnt fix my flat tire and needed to be replaced. It took them over an hour to replace the tire. I have gone to places that will tell me in 5 mins if they can fix it or not and 15-20 mins to put the tire back on the car. This was my work van and the more time I sit around waiting the more money I lose.

Long time customer with commercial fleet, and surprised with the high turnover of technicians, managers, etc at this location.Made a prior appointment online, then proceeded to take my vehicle in 2 hours before the appointment time. Front desk guy, who has to be new as never seen him before, is telling the customer before me the reasons why that location is short staffed (because candidates cannot pass drug tests) which I found odd to start with.When was my turn to check in, TW (he will not give his full name) said my online appointment is not valid and I needed to call the shop for an appointment. My response was, how am I supposed to know that their online system is not part of their process. He then said no guarantee they would be able to fix my car the same day, when another gentleman/technician heard the comment and said he will get it done today.TW then started to enter my details into the system asking me to slow down as any question I asked was just too much for him to keep up. He then proceeded to ask me the same questions over and over, even though I answered his same question like 30 seconds before. I mentioned to him of the potential struggles of not listening properly, to which he responded, thats life.This TW guy WILL be the reason I take my 11 vehicles somewhere else.

Great place gets car service

Front brakes, oil change, fall checkup. Nearly $800. I am not pleased. Mostly because I had previously purchased Lifetime Brakes on my SUV! They were advised of this when I handed over my keys. Found out the true cost when I viewed my invoice in an email.
