Very pleasing experience. Had my car at many auto service companies. No one told me that my tires were worn and dangerous until I had my oil changed recently. I am a widow. My husband always took care of the car. I asked for an alignment which took awhile but well worth the wait. Car drove like a new car !My thanks to Rice. I highly recommend.

Today I went In to get my front tires replaced. Josh a new service manager helped me. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. Jim and Jennifer at the front counter were very friendly as well. I have been getting my car serviced here over 3 years and I highly recommend Rice Tires on the Great Customer Service, fair prices, and speedy service. It feels good when the staff remembers you and genuinely shows care.

We have been taking our Commercial fleet of vehicles and personal vehicles to Rice Tires for over 8 years. In the past I have always dealt with Alex, but after my experience today with Jim and dealing with his unbelievably aggressive, rude, and extremely unprofessional behavior; Rice Tires has lost our business for good. I am still in shock that someone with such ill behavior towards a client ( in front of what seemed to be new hires) could lead with such poor behavior as a Manager. As a business owner, I would be outraged to see an employee of ours (especially a Manager) behave how he did today.I took a personal car for an oil change and to have the brakes checked this morning. I received a call from a service rep around noon letting me know that the oil change was completed and he explained the scope of work for the brake job. I asked to have a quote emailed over to me. Once I received the quote, I called back and spoke to a young lady to let her know that I would not be moving forward with the brake job at this time, and let her know that I would arrive within the hour to pick up my car and she confirmed that it was okay. After arriving 1.5 hours later to pick up the car, I was rudely told by Jim that my car was not ready and that I had to wait for it to get assembled again because I had not responded to the email quote letting them know that I wouldnt be moving forward with the brake job. I then explained to Jim that I had actually called in and spoke to a young lady and she had told me it would be ready over an hour ago. Clearly there was a lack of communication on their end and this message had not gotten to Jim or the Service Dept. I asked Jim how long it would take for them to put the car together and he told me he didnt know, that he was busy and his guys were on break and that I just had to wait. A decent apology for wasting my time or acknowledgment of their mistake would have been the proper way to handle the situation, but instead I got Jims nasty attitude. When I told Jim that I needed him to provide a time frame because I had someone waiting on me outside, he got angry (to the point that his face turned red) started speaking to me in an extremely aggressive manner and raised his voice at me telling me he didnt know what I wanted him to do, that they were busy, that he couldnt give me a direct answer other than I needed to wait at least 30 minutes because thats what it was and there was nothing he could do. His tone, mannerisms towards me, attitude, and lack of respect were super low class to say the least.

Great service. I had a flat tire while on vacation and Rice Tire helped me get a new tire quickly and easily so I could continue with my trip.

Bowen Electric has been using Rice for a while. Pleasant service and even though they are very busy with commercial accounts they still do a good job of getting you in and out in a reasonable time. Some of the best prices as well for quality tires.

From the first conversation over the phone my experience was extremely positive. They provide great customer service and explains service and repairs clearly prior to charging. My vehicle runs great and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Will definitely tell family and friends that this is the place to go for a good experience.

This is a professionally run tire shop. The manager, Jim Hoover, is TOP NOTCH. The staff is polite, pleasant, easy to work with and honest. They keep their appointments and do a good job. Hard to find good people in this industry these days but these guys are very good.

This was my last visit.Second time balanced my tire with 1/2 pound of weights inside and outside of rim at three different locations each side,after fixing my flat tire.Before they fixed tire I had 20oz outside and 1/2oz inside.Steereng wheel was shaking on 60 miles or above.Went to other shop to solve the problem.Even guys working there were laughing about Rice tire balancing.we never saw before tire balancing like yours.Great job Rice Tire!!NEVER AGAIN!!

Needed a tire patch. Walked in and out in 45 minutes with no appointment.Needed to go back a couple days later because the tire wasnt balanced. They took care of it in 30 minutes.

Rice always takes care of our big tractor tires.

Very unprofessional service. Replaced steering tires twice, aligned wheels, checked all the suspension. No defects found on the truck. Steering tires were overinflated and they didn’t do a proper alignment. Called various times to have the service redone at no avail. The Result: truck blew up steering tire and almost caused a deadly accident. It almost cost people’s life. Could have caused substantial property damage. Thankfully all ended well. Had to replace steering tires again. Only this time by professionals in the business.I would not recommend this shop.

Nice & friendly staff. Completed the work I needed in a timely matter. They did forget to put 1 tire valve cap back on, but when I brought it to their attention they found it & put it on. I would recommend them & will go back.

This place is great!! Over the last couple years, Ive come in for new tires, oil changes, brake replacements, and shock replacements. Based on my experiences, I genuinely feel like these guys do not try to take advantage of you like those big name companies that come up with a laundry list of things that must be fixed for your car to operate. Rice Tire understands that everyone is just trying to get by and and trying to keep their car running smoothly on a budget. I love that Rice Tire is a small local chain that started in Maryland. Bringing my car here for service feels like Im leaving my kid to hang out with my extended family! Alex, at the front desk, is like that trustworthy cousin--he takes the time to explain the status of your vehicle and clearly communicates what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. Murph is like the grandfather, a little old school, but always kind. Jeff, the manager, is like the uncle that will always have your back. Together, they all make a great team. Im sure everyone behind the scenes is cool too, but Ive only interacted with the people in the front office. I will continue to bring all my vehicles here for as long as I live in this area. The personalized customer service is stellar!! Treating people with kindness, honesty, and respect is a business model that is hard to come by these days [sadly], and Rice Tire has no shortage of these values!
