Although Kia did a good job with my door handle. I was quoted by my insurance that the damage repairs would be approximately $130. Then I was told by Kia repair officials that it shouldnt be that much more but if they found out they would give me a call and let me know... Fast forward 5 days later and we go from $130 estimate to almost a $850 estimate. I would think that in between time when they were making calls updating me about the vehicles process that they would mention that there would be a possible $7 00 charge difference from the original quote. This would have allowed me to make financial decisions to leave the car there until I was in better standings to pick it up. But I show up the day to get it and even with the deductible it was still more than I would have came to get that day at that price. So again they did an excellent job with the door handle, however I wish they would have communicated before I even showed up with the price would be.
Daniel at King Kia was a pleasure to work with! He was prompt but not pushy. He gave us all the information that we needed to make our purchase and since then, has gone above and beyond in communicating with us about the details finalizing the purchase of our new vehicle! He is kind and courteous and we definitely feel well taken care of my him and the King Kia team.
The worst experience we have ever had. We traveled from Delaware to Maryland looking to get a good deal on buying a new car. Several days after buying the car we noticed that part of the rear bumper flair was missing. We immediately called the dealer to report it and proceeded to take the car to be inspected, since the new unit had sold us with several miles. To our surprise the car had the bars under the vehicle broken. In the workshop where they inspected it they indicated that in all probability it was something that happened when transporting the truck from the crane to the dealer. The dealer held us responsible for the damages. They say that our duty was to inspect the VEHICLE FROM THE BOTTOM. Now we have a new car and we have to invest our money to fix it. I regret not having read the reviews before. Do not do business in this place and if you plan to do so, go buy the vehicle with a professional and inspect UNDER THE vehicle before signing any papers.
Had one of the best experiences Ive had a car dealership working with Daniel. Most of our car discussion was had through email and he was always quick and honest with his responses. He had the car ready for us when we came in to test drive and eventually buy, and even had it put to the side so it didnt get sold out from under us which was very helpful. He was good with my 3 year old son as well. I had a few questions after the sale of the car which he answered just as quickly as he did before we purchased and he even over nighted the garage door opener we forgot in our trade in. I absolutely wouldnt hesitate to recommend working with him to anyone that I know.

The service department was really nice. I just wish they would have been upfront with me. They gave me an estimated time of 60-90 minutes. I was there almost 2 hours with a 2 year old.
This is a review of Kia service department at the Gaithersburg Kia location. Long story short; (or long lol) car in shop to get diagnostic testing. Dropped off the night before. Had a specific issue and after 12 pm the following day, there was still no news. Dropped by there to see what was up and encountered a not so friendly gentleman at the service desk. (I had been calling for an hour prior with no answer). The gentleman could not locate the info on my vehicle. Checked with a mechanic and relayed some not so put together info, questioned my knowledge of vehicles and left me feeling just as confused as before I arrived. After our brief conversation, I decided to venture up to the show room and speak with a manager.Well, the general manager, Jason, he is the epitome of customer service and engagement. This man knows how to do his job and do it well. He turned that entire situation around. Got me to the manager of the service department, Chuck, who also is fantastic and definitely knows his stuff. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and I left there feeling accomplished and like I knew exactly what was going on with my vehicle . Jason also explained to me that they are short staffed and having trouble getting their parts in as we experience worldwide shortages. I appreciated his insight into what they are dealing with and helped me to empathize a bit more with the stress these guys are under and probably the amount of times they get their heads chewed off about stuff too.My intent wasn’t to cause any issues for this employee, but to simply help management relay customer service engagement tips to those who might have a hard time in that face paced industry.Thank you to Jason, Chuck, Wayne and Cristian for your outstanding customer service and impeccable manners. It’s people like you that help restore my faith in humanity.

Choose King Kia will help you save your time and money! I went to over 6 dealer shops to buy a car. It may be because I am a foreigner or not, but all of the dealers asked money more expensive than I expected. But, from King Kia, they offered a really good price and they didnt cheat with an unclear name (Some dealer shop does). Everything was clear. Especially, my dealer (Mr. Daniel Rouff) honestly answered all of my questions and he tried to accept my requests (He made most of them!). If you are looking for a Kia vehicle, I strongly recommend King Kia and look for Mr. Daniel. He will guide you to find your best vehicle.

I got a good deal and Bruce really went out of his way to make the car buying experience a positive one. A very kind and personable employee even gave me a ride from my house 50 min away to pick up the new car at the dealer. However, there was a typo on my paper work so I needed to return to resign all the docs. Also, having said they could remove a stain for me by the next day, they didn’t let me know before I came the second time that I would have to come back a third time to get a stain removed since they had the chemical cleaner on order. But, on the whole it was a very positive and friendly experience.

They are the worst place to buy a car! In order to buy the car, they made me buy a car extended warranty. They did not tell me that my car had a recall (for the engine). During the warranty time, my engine blows and they gave me a very hard time to fix (more than 6 months) after fix the engine and charge me more than 2k (even having a warranty) the new engine blows after 4500 miles (before the first oil change). Now, they are refusing to fix and in order to fix they are asking more than 9k. If youre thinking in do business in this dealership, please rethink. They are the worst.
I am 40 years old and have leased various cars in different states. Leasing from King Kia was without a doubt the easiest process Ive ever had, despite the current car market, for the following reasons:1) They are upfront ON THE PHONE about pricing/leasing details. This is so rare, as anyone who is informed about car shopping knows.2) Their front facing customer service (I dealt with Reuben and Hugo) was friendly, not overbearing, direct and honest.3) As anyone whos every car shopped before knows, the amount of time you can spend in a dealership can take up an entire day. Reuben and Hugo circumvented this waste of time by communicating directly via phone, text and email so that when I arrived to pick up my car, all I had to do was sign the leasing paperwork and be on my way. I literally spent one hour in the dealership over the course of this two-day process, which just is a huge advantage to the customer.4) Their leasing officer (whose name I cant recall) was extremely professional, direct and operated from a computer and iPad system instead of printing out lengthy documents to sign, which again sped up the process.As a longtime DMV resident, I cannot recommend this dealership enough. They are courteous, honest and do not waste your time. If all car dealerships could emulate this model, people would enjoy car shopping a lot more.

First Service of a KIA. Just an oil/rotate deal they had as a coupon plus checking on the oil ring recall potential. We got there at scheduled time and Wayne was the only one actively working - 3/4 others seemed to just wander around, so it took over 20 min. just to check in. KIA factory told me to inspect for recall theyd need to drain oil and replace so itll be free - King KIA said no - OK - someone needs to communicate better! Also confusion as to the software update(s) needed or not (which in the end wasnt on the order invoice so I still dont know what was done or not!). Pickup was later in the day - no new engine required, so thats good. Coupon for 59.90 turned to 75.90 total vs. 66 estimate - nobody could tell me why. Found the car - car was not washed or vacuumed as it states and had some nice greasy spots on door and engine lid. Is this a KIA thing or a King KIA thing? Ill find out soon as they have no interest in future business.
We found exactly the car we wanted online at the King KIA website, called them directly, and negotiated the price. Our local KIA dealership could not compete with the price we negotiated with King KIA. We live about 1-1/2 hours from King KIA, so it was important that everything we talked about on the phone be consistent with what happened when we got to the dealership. Im happy to report that there were no surprises, and the entire process at the dealership took around one hour, including financing and a thorough explanation of all of the car features by Boris, who was extremely knowledgeable. We enjoyed working with Boris, Kevin, and Nan. They all worked together to make this the smoothest car buying process we have ever experienced. Thank you!

Just bought a vehicle yesterday from King Kia and it was a great process, which is not something I thought I would say about buying a car. From the start of looking on their website to coming in for a test drive, and talking about pricing it was wonderful. If you want an E-Price from their website you actually get it instead of someone ringing you nonstop about a test drive. This alone was a major reason I drove 40 min out to the dealer to test drive when there are closer dealers to me. They were willing to work and try and got me competitive pricing on my trade in. Worked with Daniel as my sales person and it was such a relaxed experience, it did not feel like he was pushing and pushing to sell me something. During my other experiences at different dealers the sales people are much more aggressive and quick talking trying to get you on the back foot. Daniel was nothing like this and as someone who had yet to buy a new vehicle this was really appreciated. When I eventually need a new car in the future I will for sure be taking the drive out them.
Im not even willing to give this place one star. I bought a used Kia from here two months ago for a decent price. Last week, I was in a serious accident that wasnt my fault, and my Kia was totaled. My temporary tags were still on my vehicle. Id call King Kia and ask for status of my official title but they had no idea. In order for me to get my check from insurance, I need the official title. I came to find out that King Kia NEVER SUBMITTED MY TITLE to the MVA, and its two months later!!! Not only that, I found out they basically illegally sold me the car because it still had a lien on it from the PREVIOUS OWNER. This dealer is causing emotional pain and suffering because its their fault, I cannot buy a new car right now. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. I wish I never bought a car here, and If I could, Id take all my money back.

Avoid this dealership. I bought a new car from there and the whole experience has been terrible. Firstly just negotiations was a hassle. I was told I would get 0.9% financing for 60 months been when I get down to closing they say nevermind that program ended already, your interest is gonna be double. What sales manager doesnt know what programs are still running. After all that, I take it home and find damage on the car. Nothing crazy, just a little dent and scratches around the door frame. Getting them to fix it was an absolute pain. It took over 2 months to get damaged fixed on my brand new car. After all this, I am trying to get my first oil change, and cant get it done. Ive tried calling and leaving voicemails for over 3 weeks to get an appointment. When I finally get through, the lady told me to just bring it in the next day and I dont need an appointment for my first oil change. That theyll take care of it then. I get in and they look at me crazy saying I was told I didnt need an appointment. Absolutely terrible service and lack of communication.

I was so nervous about getting another vehicle after my car that I had ridden for 11 years was totaled. My daughter was kind enough to share her car for the summer while I figured out my budget, what I wanted and all the added details. By mid August I knew how much I could spend, knew I wanted a used vehicle with hopefully low mileage and something equally as safe as my previous vehicle. It was suggested to try Kias and made an appointment at the Gaithersburg King Kia Dealership. I walked in to meet this wonderful salesman Jose Vargas. He was patient, understanding of my budgetary needs being a single mom on a fixed budget and he actually listened. I test drove one car and wasnt happy with the feel and performance and he said I have another option that you may be very comfortable with...I test drove a Kia - Sportage 2018 and fell in love with the car. He worked diligently with his manager to get the price down so that I would be able to leave the lot with what would be mine in just a few days. The dealership and Jose placed no pressure on me as we went through the process. So going forward with two kids that will need cars I cant imagine going any place else or dealing with another sales person other than Jose. My first major purchase and it was wonderful. We needed a car at the last minute, and these guys went above and beyond to get it for us in less than 24 hours. We really appreciated all the effort they put in, especially Bruce, and they were very friendly and helpful. Our only minor complaint would be the amount of pressure they put on us to leave good reviews- they definitely deserve it! but it just seemed a bit uncomfortable and forced at the time.We love our new Soul, and will definitely be back to this dealership in the future!

Before I even go for a test drive, I’ve spent fifteen minutes going over the car’s features. Most salespeople rush me, but Hugo answered every question I had. He listened as I explained what I was looking for and then worked with me to find exactly what I wanted.During the car buying process, I was extremely concerned about Covid. Hugo came up with a great idea to minimize my time in the dealership room. He let me stay in the car I had been test driving and even brought me snacks and drinks while I waited. Most of my paperwork was handled outside or over the Internet. I really appreciate that sort of creativity to keep me safe.I was going to get a used KIA but King KIA offered me such a good deal on a new KIA, I had to take it. Now I have a car that I love.In all, Hugo and the King KIA team turned what could’ve been a stressful experience into something pleasant. Definitely recommend.
Have a long standing business relationship with this dealership. Good people and always a good time to work with. Although I wasn’t able to reach an agreement on a used car the first day. A secondary offer was made that met my needs. Bruce in the Kia dealership was a lot of fun and knew how to talk with my wife and I. Jaime was able to work with us on a deal, and Kevin was able to get us through the paperwork quickly. Very happy with the visit.
Bruce and Nan are super friendly and very informative. Bruce is so patient and informative. He walks us through the car and shows us how specific functions work. He is always ready to answer questions. We have a baby around when we visit. He helps us install the car seat safely in the test drive. He even helps keep our kid entertained. Transparent and excellent communication. I can’t say enough good words about Bruce. Kia is very short in supply, though. Hope Kia can catch up the demand!
I set up an appointment yesterday, drove 40 mins today to get to the location, and the vehicle I was interested in was completely out of gas. They did not seem very concerned about wasting their customers time. They then handed me the key which appeared to have been chewed on by a dog. There was fluid in the trunk near the spare tire which concerned me. I hope that they were not attempting to sell a vehicle that had been flooded and not reported. The vehicles exterior was dirty so I couldnt come up with a logical reason as to why the trunk had water in it. We ended up leaving before they even went to go fill up the tank so that we could run it to look over it. Overall, terrible experience. I would not recommend buying from this location. They will try to convince you to not have the vehicle inspected by an outside auto repair shop prior to your purchase. Red flags everywhere.

Customer service was great, Paul M took the time to go over everything. He did not try to forces us into a buying. Even with all the questions we had he was patient and took to explain. He went above and beyond, even took time to get our daughter something to eat while we there. Just recently purchased a new car from KING KIA, and had a great experience. Due to COVID, and my work schedule and distance from the dealership, I was able to conduct 97% of the entire transaction online, working with their wonderful sales associate HUGO OLIVA. Hugo assisted me throughout the process answering questions, and facilitating my needs. Hugo was able to meet all of my special requests, and got me a VERY reasonable deal on the car. I would recommend if you are in the market to buy a vehicle, to go to KING KIA (make an appointment, or coordinate online), and find/contact Senior Sales Consultant Hugo Oliva. Hugo proved to be an honest man of integrity, and clearly communicated all of the details of the transaction in a courteous and professional manner. When I arrived to sign the paperwork and pickup the car, all of the specifics of the deal were adhered to just as Hugo had communicated (no bait and switch games).I appreciate all the work that Hugo, and the others of KING KIA, put into making a deal that could work for me.

They got me out of a shady lease, worked with my credit and boom a brand new car! Boris was amazing, Nan the manager is a sweetheart and even stayed later to help me. These people are so wonderful! Bruce Kim is an excellent salesperson. He was very thorough and helped me select the perfect size car for me. After I bought my Kia Seltos Turbo SX, he gave me in personal tutorials on how to operate the car technology. He helped me before and right after I bought it, but I needed extra support as this is my first new car in 20 years. I drove the car on highway and he helped understand cruise control. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but Bruce Kim and the entire staff at King Kia were really outstanding. We were buying my son a used 2016 Subaru BRZ, which is hard to find, and even harder to buy. Bruce did the one thing that is hardest for a salesperson, he held the car overnight so we could get there the next day. Once we got there he was considerate, knowledgeable, transparent, not to mention very entertaining. Kevin and Nancy in finance were also top notch, and the whole experience was one of the better car purchases I’ve done, and at 58, I’ve purchased a lot of cars. Would highly recommend Bruce and King Kia.

We went to King Kia expecting to spend less than we did because we didnt see freight as one of the charges in their fine print to be added to the internet price.Despite that, Hugo was able to work with us to get the Kia Soul Turbo to a price we were willing to pay. He also looked into buying out our Sorento lease, which we thought we were still too far out to consider.Hugo followed up to confirm our appointment in the morning and had both cars ready for us to test drive before we ever sat down to discuss numbers.Side note, the location was perfect for test drives. You drive out of the lot, hop on 270 (N or S, youre pick - we did North), drive on the highway to get a feel for the car, hop off the next exit and drive on local roads back to the dealership. Perfect 2 - 3 mile test drive route.Once we sat down, Hugo listened to what we liked, didnt like, answered questions about the car and numbers - even showing us his monitor a few times to see where all the pricing came from. We never felt pressured and he allowed us as much time as we needed to consider our options.We took awhile to decide, and Hugo never made us feel like we were wasting his time. In fact he encouraged us to take as much time as we needed - different than some experiences Ive had at other dealerships.We definitely recommend purchasing a car from King Kia, and schedule an appointment with Hugo if you can.

We just left King Kia, my daughter got her first BRAND NEW car! We drove over 2 hours, because their price couldnt be matched (where were from)! The salesman Willey was amazing! He was very nice, respectful, thorough, and gave his honest opinion when asked! The reason I gave them a 4/5 🌟s is the time it took to complete the purchase!! We got there at 4:30, and left at 8:10!!! That is entirely TOO LONG!! And the tactics to purchase extras is ANNOYING!! BUT if youre in the market for a new (or used) vehicle, check them out!

Although is was a long process, everyone was warm, welcoming, and I got what I needed in the end. Willy, who my consultant, was amazing! I was looking for a very specific vehicle; I knew what I wanted and I wasnt going to accept anything else. The main Kia page said that King Kia had one, so I asked to be contacted. Within a short period Jose Vargas reached out to confirm that they did, indeed, have the car I was looking for. We arranged an appointment for the next day and I drove from the eastern panhandle of WV to Gaithersburg, MD. Jose had the car ready when I got there. Through the entire purchasing process (which was relatively painless no matter what those online places say in their commercials), Jose was pleasant, helpful, and professional. Everyone I interacted with at Kings was the same. This was easily the best car buying experience Ive ever had. Highly recommend.

Was treated very well here at King Kia today. Im tentatively searching for a new car and was open to new or used. I was mainly searching for upgrades like heated seats and interested in only low milage vehicles. One of my goals today was to position myself in a lower interest car loan. While refinancing is an option, killing two birds with one stone sounded great. But, ALAS...here I am vehicle shopping on my day off. Covid-19 protocols are in place and were being100% observed by staff and customers. I have a feeling Ill be back and upgrading to a 2021 Kia Soul. I love this car! I just bought a new 2021 sorento from king kia and I would highly recommend them. My Mom told me to talk to Daniel R because he was a easy laid back guy that would not pressure me in to anything, and Daniel was amazing. Daniel took his time and showed me an idea of what I would be getting in to before we started all the paperwork to make sure that I would be comfortable and able to make my payments witch is so important to me with my growing family and everything going on with covid. Not only was the service great I was only there for about 2 and a 1/2 hours start to finish.

Had an amazing experience at King Kia! Jose was super helpful and very pleasant the whole experience! I even arrived 45 mins prior to my scheduled appointment and he had no issue with that. He had the car I was interested in waiting for me and it didn’t take long to immediately hop in for a test drive. I drove an hour and 45 mins because King Kia has the best pricing for a brand new Kia! It was definitely worth it and I can’t thank Jose enough for all of his help!
