They have a big selection but theyre overpriced its supposed to be a salvage store not a new retail store and they have new retail prices

Sometimes great deals can be found but almost every time I go the women that work there talk very negatively about things or other people. They are so loud and negative you just feel bad when you leave. I get that some customers can be a pain but whisper about it.

Found this place via Facebook marketplace initially, their prices are very good and they offer a large variety of home repair and upgrade items.

For years we have gone to Rabbitown salvage and never have I once had a bad experience or product! These people are so kind and always ensure you are taken care of. This past visit we bought a ceiling fan and halway through installation I realized there was a missing part. I called rabbitown and they provided me with another fan no questions asked! The best people ever!

Pretty decent yard sale type store. Some prices where decent, and others wasnt. Its a buyers gamble

Contributing to my horrible sweet tooth with all that candy n snacks, but we love it. Just up the street n has most of what we lookin fer. Didnt have any tie down straps we wanted but they gave me some twine to help me out with.

The prices here are low about half of any where else for the same product !

It has pretty much anything I need at a good price. Family ran by some good folks. Go on by and see if they got what I need. If they dont ask kenny or his staff and he will try to get in stock.

Rather shabby place that aint too shabby ! The folks sell, among other things, products that have had their packaging water damaged. ( Think Home Depot after a flood ) If you are looking for brand name lighting or kitchen & bath faucets that are otherwise new except for water wrinkled packages, you truly cant beat their discounts. Eclectic selection of mark down items you would find in a building materials store. If you are a bargain hunter, get on down there ! Hee Haw !

I had purchased a bathroom cabinet and asked on the purchase date if I was able to return it there was a gentleman there who told me yes but when I went back to return it because my grandmother didnt want it there was a woman working and said she would not return it because there was no way to know the price of the item because I have lost my receipt although in the back of the store there was 20 more of the stained cabinets that I had purchased and every one of them had a price on it

This place has everything, at low prices. Its merchandise that you get at cost from shoes to make- up to Christmas decor. Youll never know what your gonna get from week to week.

I love stores like this. We’ve saved a ton of money on products we would have spent double for based on where they came from. Know your costs before you go in.......if you look semi-hard enough, you will find more than enough merchandise to make visiting this store on a regular basis well worth your time!

Absolutely junk! Higher prices even after all discounts and percentages off. Not to mention the entire store and stock is dirty, nasty. Not worth the trip or time.

If you wait in building #2 for 30 minutes and the manager is on the phone and doesnt even acknowledge you. And you leave without being able to get what you want. I guess his phone call was more important than I was.

I wanted to say that this place stands behind what they sale. I bought a dryer and as prommised the owner made a a dryer that didnt work when i got home good by swapping it out for another. Thank u rabbittown salvage there is not alot of this left in this world.

Prices arent any better than the stores they got their merchandise from some are a bit higher might as wellgo to a big box chain and get it there with a 30 day store return policy. Id suggest 129 salvage for way better prices but finding big hardware items there is a ymmv if you need appliances or power tools Id check out Home Depot or Lowes first for weekly deals then maybe this place Im sure eBay would have a better price on the same items/condition that they have here its just a matter of waiting on it.

They have great deals on what they have in stock. It can be a hit and miss thing sometimes. What they have in stock varies with what they have available to themVisit often and you will probably find what you are looking for eventually.

Bought 24 bags of mulch paid half price compared to home Depot same product 1/2 price. And they loaded it didnt even have to ask. Great service Great products.

I go there often. Looking for a deal today I went in and this woman was screaming at everyone. People were talking about her rudeness up and down the aisles. As I was about to check out she got ugly with two small children and was hollering at them. I let her know she need to hollar so at someone elses children. She then told me to F off. I decided to leave and she got mad at me and threw a grill at me and I should report her to the police but Im a better person than that I will pray for her tonight but I will never go back there again looking for a deal and if youre smart stay away from that place as well

Definitely salvage....some of the items boxes look like they fell off the truck going down the highway then got run over a few times. Seems to be a lot of discontinued items from HD, light fixtures, shop vacs, etc. Looks like some stuff has been there quite some time, probably because of the items condition and the prices.

Good deals and plenty of selection. My only complaint is some of the merchandise left outside to get soaked, like new tool cabinets with power strips. Other than that the selection was astounding and +1 for the fat guard cat at the door.

I always find something unique like this week I got stained glass window decals at a deal! Doing a remodel or finishing the inside of your new place? Then shop here they have a large selection of new items from cabinets to light fixtures along w tools to do the work with. Always friendly!

Decent selection of a variety of different things. A bit over priced but I would recommend this place if you want to come across some unique and neat little trinkets.

By the time they mark stuff up and then offer a discount.....its all bout regular price.

All kinds of really good discounted stuff but if you see something you like dont call about it or they could up the price before you get there, then give you the discount off of the new price. That way they make more money. Regardless, I will shop here again!!!

They were very helpful and gave me an extra discount because I was letting a wounded gulf vet,, who draws a mthly ck, but still needed work, help me with a burned out bathroom. They had most all I needed to get the project started. Just very helpful and nice!

Over priced for what you get.

I went in yesterday to make a very large purchase on laminate flooring and had a question about a discount sign that was hanging above the flooring that I wanted. When I asked the lady about the sign she was very rude and did not offer any help. I told my wife we were leaving and was willing to pay more at Home Depot than to give that lady my money. I guess some people are ok with running not only business away but repeat business.

This salvage company has some really good deals on a lot of stuff for plumbing and lighting I highly recommend it

The place is way to expensive to call itself salvage. Just for an idea, the house lamps/light fixtures, that I checked, cost more at this so called salvage place than they would cost at any of the usual home dedicated retailers. The little amount of items with a decent price, could be found for the same value or cheaper at WalMart, Dollar General, and even at Home Depot or Lowes. The place was dirty and too dusty, so if you have allergies, it may not be a good idea to stop there. It has the welcoming appearance of a thrifty store, but once you enter... It is more like a neighborhood place that locals trust because they may not have an expanded outside view to compare. The name and the outside appearance are deceiving in comparison to what you actually find inside. I suggest that the locals drive just a little further through Gainesville and Dawsonville to find lots of different stores offering the same items, and more, with better prices, MUCH better presentation, and better selection. If you can drive longer to Cobb County (Smyrna, Marietta, etc.), you may find even more options to compare. If you decide to visit it, I hope it is a good experience for you. Thank you for reading.

Had a bad smell in there ans had a cat laying on the items for sale. I dont like cat hair. Folks at check out all talking load rude bunch.

Their prices on some items are higher than they should be for a salvage store. They do have a decent selection of merchandise and the store is clean and organized sell.

A mishmash of things for home, some personal items, dirty, staff were totally unaware I was even their..the whole hour...I gave it a good going over..it might have some good bargains..if you have any questions or need help..good luck..lots of broken and discarded goods on the outside..not worth my time or effort.

Remodeling our home and stopped in to see what kind of light fixtures and fans they had. Upon entering not a single person greeted us. There was a couple sitting behind the desk never once saying hello or offering assistance to find anything. Among making our way to the back and finding the light fixtures we heard a woman yelling about who drove a certain car. We replied that that was our car and she yelled that we were parked in a handicap spot. My father is disabled and our tag was in clear windshield view. I yelled back at the bitchy woman that we indeed had our handicap sticker up but to please her my husband nicely moved his car. We continued to look around as they did have a large selection in lights and fans and we were making plans to possibly make a large purchase on several lights and fans. All the boxes were extremely beat up and appeared to have some sort of moisture damage. My husband and I found some lights we liked but the box was so beat up we wanted to check and make sure that everything was included and nothing inside was damaged. I then hear the lady demand her husband, I am assuming, to come over and scold us for opening the box. It was out of line and inappropriate. We then closed everything up and put it back. We also thought the prices on a lot of the items was extremely marked up to be in such damaged shape. We got online to check other competitors and sure enough even with Rabbitown discount it was still more than other hardware stores. The price was not so much the problem as was the completely lack of respect and no customer service. Because of the attitude coming from the people behind the desk we chose to drive out of way to Lowes and spend our 500.00. Just a warning...check other competitors pricing before this store and dont rely on friendleness because this store does not show its customers an ounce of grattitude. And for Gods sake dont park in the handicap section or they may have a heart attack. Happy shopping.
