Do most of the work on my vehicles myself. But some stuff is just too much without a lift. Always nervous about letting others work on my stuff and they made me feel confident that they were experienced and professional. Had a lingering squeak after replacing my clutch, but they had me back in as soon as I could get it back to them, and fixed it no questions asked which probably required dropping the transmission again. Which isnt a quick thing. Would highly recommend.

Every driver should know this basic mantra of automobile ownership: stay away from the dealers. Not only do dealers employ some of the worst mechanics and business tactics in the industry, they also dont even WANT to fix cars. Dealers whole business model is based on selling you NEW cars, which includes honoring the manufacturers warranty when necessary, so thats the primary reason they even have a service department. First of all, Rich and Kim are great people. Id honestly drop by this shop just to talk to them! But, I bought a 2011 BMW e90 that ended up having a lot of issues and Rich was able to get it running great again.Honestly, it wasnt the cheapest work Ive ever had done but I believe you get what you pay for. I can trust the work Rich has done and thats worth the money to me.I wont take my car anywhere else -- even for an oil change!Thanks for everything, Rich and Kim!

A few months ago I needed a cam gear replaced, and it took me 3-4 weeks to decide the best route financially. The employees were very accommodating and let me keep my car there for a week when I went out of town in order to fix it during that time period, and they also let me order the part I needed online and have it shipped and stored at their shop. Excellent service and very kind people!! Especially Rich! I dont know anything about cars but he answered all of my questions (and I had a lot!) and he was very patient with me. Thanks again for helping me while I took time to figure out my options. And prices for their services were very reasonable!

I was told I by the dealer service department that needed new rear shocks on my Infiniti. On a whim I contacted Pro Import and they worked me in to get the repairs done. After arriving, they quickly took my vehicle back, then I was told I did not need new shocks. Honest people, the price quoted before hand was reasonable, and they will definitely be my place for service from here on out.

Pro Import was amazing! I have to caveat this with the fact that they didnt actually work on my car. They did diagnose it, get a new transmission, find a warranty on my car, and worked with the warranty company to make sure I was taken care of. They were incredibly communicative and helpful throughout the process! Unfortunately, the warranty company said it had to be towed to the original dealership I purchased from to do the work.I am so glad that I called them up (based on their awesome reviews), and will certainly be going back for work in the future.

Pro Import, Rich and Kim, are the best. I have a 2013 325i. On my way to work one day last year, my oil light came on and I happened to be in front of Pro Import so I pulled in. Rich promptly popped the hood, told me I was about a half quart low, filled me up and sent me off to work with no charge. He sold me on great customer service and I have been back for several small issues and routine maintenance since. If you want great, friendly service, reasonable prices and high quality work without the long waits for appointments and high prices associated with the dealership, I strongly recommend Pro Import.

Rich and Kim saved our trip.My wife and I were travelling the southeast in our 1997 Porsche Boxter, and were having a great time on the twisting roads in north Georgia. Just before noon, we took a ride up a mountain to Brasstown Bald, just east of Blairsville. When we reached the top, the car was leaking antifreeze. Needless to say, we were in a heap of trouble. Luckily we did have cell phone service, so we started making calls. My second call was to Pro Import...and am I lucky Kim answered. Immediately she understood our situation and was truly interested in helping any way she could.Fast forward a couple of hours (tow truck ride from Brasstown Bald to Gainesville), and we arrived at Pro Import around 3:00 PM. Rich agreed to do what he could to diagnose the issue that afternoon, order parts and complete the repair ASAP.We had hotel reservations in Helen, GA for the night, and now needed to rent a car to get there. Kim immediately stepped up and offered to take us to the car rental place...above and beyond anything we expected. Thanks again Kim.We received a phone call from Rich that evening, and it looked like a thermostat/water pump issue. Better than anything I had presumed. They installed a water pump and thermostat the next morning, and we were on our way by noon. The next day, Rich called to make sure everything was going okay with the car...first time I have had that happen!Of all possible scenarios, this had to be the best outcome I could imagine. Rich and Kim are true professionals. I wish I lived closer, they would be my default service provider.

Where is the no star? Charged $126 labor to replace a starter battery on a Mercedes SL. It is a 20 minute job. Claimed the computer had to be told there was a new battery in the car. MB senior tech said, No way, its just that, the starter battery, no programming needed .

I recently moved to Gainesville and thought I would have to drive to Duluth or Alpharetta to have my Mercedes maintained. I am thrilled to have found Kim & Rich with Pro Import. Whenever I contact Fred at Pro Import, I know that my car problem will be handled. Ive been a loyal customer for over ten years, and my car (now 14) is still running great. The mechanics at Pro Import are skilled and knowledgeable about Volvos, so I have confidence in their repairs. Ive had the regularly scheduled maintenance done there, along with brakes, batteries, light replacement, and different hoses. I am glad that there is a local garage that provides such service.

The fact that every other service dept I have used (mostly Mercedes serv dept ) has either changed their prices on us or just plain ripped us off, making car repair or even thinking of maintenance that has to be done, a daunting task. However, after finding online Pro Import and just the first call speaking with Kim & then the follow up call from Rich, he gave me prices on everything I had to have done & they didnt go up on the quote after the repairs were done. Started with Pro Volvo under the old owner (and old name) back when the local Gainesville Volvo dealership became a Nissan dealership. They have kept a 27 year old Volvo 240 going since the day I bought it. Under old ownership and new ownership with Rick and Kim, their unpublished motto is....be honest, provide what you promise and deliver it with a fair price. (Ok.....those are MY words, but they are welcome to use them if they want). They have also helped maintain a quarter million mile Chevrolet Trailblazer (GM....why not bring back the inline 6 for heavens sake?). I give exceedingly few reviews, but when you find something worth sharing, you share.

Since I had to drive more than two hours to get to this place, I made appointment more than a week in advance and specifically on more than two occasions asked Rich if they had the right diagnostic computer to work on my 2012 Porsche Ceyenne. I in fact read them the exact 5 or six error codes I was getting. He assured me they can and they do.I Confirmed everything via texts as well. AC an wasnt quite working correctly and he felt fan blower most likely needed to be replaced he said. I wanted also my break pads to be checked. My main concern was getting all sorts of break software errors and felt like they were not correct and nothing wrong with break system, thus making sure he had the right tools to reset it softwarewise which he told me they could.Today after almost 2 1/2 hours of driving one way and both my wife and I taking a day off, he examined my car and after a few minutes informed us that only Porsche authorized dealership can fix the software and they are not able to do so !!!!!!!!!To add insult to injury he gave me a bill for $98 to tell me that !!!!!Besides the extreme frustration, this cost us time and money for the day close to possibly $500 or more !!So, whats wrong with this picture ???Would I use these folks or recommend them ??? Most likely NOT.

Take your car there if you want to pay a fortune and get stuck on the side of the road.After taking my car there and them having it for 2 weeks for a oil leak i finally get my car and a $1300 bill and within a half mile i break down, we call them they tell us its 5pm and cant do anything its my problem, i then called them again telling them i will stop payment they just put the phone down. I will now seek a lawyer and go after them as i had to pay for towing and repairs

Ive been a Pro Import customer for many years. The technicians have serviced my Nissans and Hondas for the past 12 years. The quality is impeccable and the customer service is inviting and friendly.

I took my car to this guy to get a wiring issue looked at in my BMW, kept the car for almost 4 days and then called me and told me that he didnt have enough time to be able to sit there and trace a bad wire or bad circuit board. isnt that what he supposed to specialize and if he works on German autos ? Im very displays than $165 later my car still not fixed, in fact it looks untouched.

I have a 1999 Mercedes E-320 v-6 4wd. It has only 132,000 miles at this time. It has been serviced by Pro Imports for the past five years.I have found the quality of their work to be excellent and significantly less costly then Mercedes dealership.
