Had a firearm transferred here. Walked in the store, was pointed to the right place to go. Filled out the app, Keith walked me through it - got me some ammo for the firearm being purchased. Made some laughs about my place of birth (CA) and had a hell of a good time, felt very welcome. Will return here often. Great selection of handguns too!

Bow techs are amazing. Good honest folks. Lots of knowledge answer all your questions and make good recommendations if your trying to switch up gear. Pricing is fair.Now the guns and ammo side of the store is flat out confusing. Still good folks I have nothing bad to say about anyone who works there. Local boys that have been doing this for a long time.But the way they price guns has never made sense. Even before the industry shortage - they have been high. I would agree with most folks in hall county. They have a good selection because no one is paying 150-200 more over the guy next door.I’ll still go there to support a local small business but I won’t burn cash on a firearm there.

This place has a good bit of everything outdoors including firearms. They have lots of inventory and helpful staff. Fishing, hunting, archery, ammo, even trail cams and sunglasses.

The old guy that work there towards the back was rude to my husband the guy was talking about glock 19 and my husband showed hi. His glock 19 and told him it was not loaded he told my husband to put it back in his holster which he did but it accidentally fell out of the holster and he told my husband hey young man u got to leave I dont trust u thats was not the way to handled it

The old man the says he has 30 years of experience on bows is full of it… my peep wasn’t tied in good, had came out and long and behold my string where my peep was at has a cut in the string.. along with the axis wasn’t set properly.. I will never go back to this shop.. 30 years experience of doing it wrong!!!

Love the place. Have about everything you need. There is pan older gentleman that works there ( maybe owner ), he is rather rude. Unless your a friend of his. He has always been rather rude to me. Still shop there in spite of that however.

Sales staff are very knowledgeable. Their inventory on ammo is as other stores, but reloading supplies are above average. Considering the times prices on ammo and reloading supplies are same as others.I drive a distance of 40 miles to shop there.

Never will get my business. Went in to look and buy a gun, there was 5 people working, not once did any of them offer to help. I stood at the counter for 5 mins with an employee right in front of me. Looked me in the eyes and walked away.

Very friendly and professional over the phone, I hope they can help me locate the item I am looking for.I gave 1 star because I can’t get anyone to respond to any of their social media sites and their phone is messed up. I would like to try to buy a gun.

Horrible experience they was 3 people working behind the counter helping 1 guy fill out papers I couldnt get help for anything. If it was busy I could understand.. but thats ok cause a saved 160$ by going to dalonega gold and pawn, so thank you outdoor depot

Lots of stock if you need a pistol, staff friendly, actually had the ammo I was looking for, unlike many other stores!

I found this place a few years ago and loved it. Local, knowledgeable and down to earth folks. However, you are fooling yourself if you dont think you can find the same items for quite a bit less elsewhere. They have a lot of guns, but there is a reason for that. $550 gun at Academy will be well over $600 in most cases here. I wanted to buy a gun they had a while back that was over $150 more here. They have a great knife selection as well. If you can accept the higher prices, a good local shop. However if every dollar counts for you, it is tough to justify shopping here.

Best gun store in Gainesville. Georgia gun store next door refused to sell me ammo unless I purchased a gun. So Outdoor Depot sold me ammo and gave a discount for retired military. Highly recommend 👌 👍

They are the best! Super helpful family business. Bought my first gun here and so did two of my sons.

Absolute Joke, they have piles of guns and ammo, but for good reason, they are on average 30-40% than anyone else. If your looking for anything other than bows, look elsewhere, as your either wasting your time or substantially overpaying. The employees in the firearm sections are just oxygen wasters, they offer no assistance, and have no knowledge of the things they sale. Only employee there worth a damn is the gentleman that does the bows.

This place has everything, bit cramped but that just means more to look at.

This place is crammed wall to wall with hunting and fishing gear. The staff is friendly and helpful. The extensive collection of the taxidermist at on display is worth a visit all by itself.

Nice selection of items. Ammo is way over priced. $40 for a box of 9mm is ridiculous. Same ammo at Academy Sports CCI for $17.49 for 50. Guns are overpriced as well. Would not buy from here. Will go to Georgia Gun where they do not price gouge the customer and actually help when you go into the store

Exceptional service and professionalism from bow tech. I got a great deal and wasn’t pressured at all. Bow was ready in less than a day and was exactly what I wanted. Only improvements to be made were maybe a bit more coaching from tech on fit considering my lack of experience and maybe a military discount.

Most awesome customer service, as much on the shelf as possible. Fishing hunting supplies as well as yeti and knives to boot!

Great place for fishing gear, I had been looking for a particular type of salmon eggs. No where had them but I checked here. They had the ones I was looking for in a large selection. The price is usual some stuff is reasonable, some is expensive just like everything else in the world. I will be going back for fishing equipment soon.

Stopped in to see the selection nice selection. Overpriced. Found some 1000 ct 22 ammunition. Bought the exact same stuff at Rural King for 19.99 for 1000 Their price was $179 that’s some serious price gouging. Won’t go back very disappointed.
