I have always had a great experience with Foxhole, Josh is super knowledgeable as well as Casey. They fixed an old Model 10 that Smith and Wesson refused to work on. Josh will walk you through any questions you may have and can answer just about anything. I will always recommend them to friends and family for anything gun related. I also had a good experience with asking some general questions about bows, wasnt pressured into a sale but was given excellent advice on what I would need and what I would not. I think the bad reviews are from folks that walk in either when theyre busy and expect everyone to drop what theyre doing to immediately help them or theyre just generally negative people. Give them your business and youll be happy you did, very honest people.

Thoroughly impressed with the foxhole. I brought my first bow in to be tuned and setup for me. It didn’t matter that it was a bow I bought used somewhere other than the foxhole. Ronnie was outstanding in helping a novice like me set up my bow as well as teach me basic technique and do’s and don’t’s with bows. He was very patient with me and had no problem taking the time to explain what he was doing with my bow to get it set up just for me as well as picking out the right arrows and broad heads. He didn’t try and up-sell me on things I didn’t want or need and he helped me fire it a few times in the store to make sure it was timed properly. Thank you so much Ronnie! I won’t hesitate to come back to the foxhole whether it be for archery or firearms.

This place is the best gun store I have ever been to. All the guys down there are very knowledgeable and nice. They dont look at you like an idiot when you have a question. They have just about everything you could need as a modern shooter with a inventory to support about any modern gun at great prices. Great bow shop as well. Definitely a place to shop if you are in the market.

They bent over backwards to fix every issue I had with my rifles. They are good salt of the earth southern gents that are a pleasure to talk to, always willing to chat or lend a hand, and a true pleasure to do business with. I went in wanting to buy a 45 a few months back. I literally just needed someone to hand me a back ground check and the gun I wanted. Long story short I stood around for 30-45 min with not a word from the staff. I dont understand how some people say they had great customer service in my experience it was anything but that. My advice for new customers is spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

I went in with a gun repair problem that I just couldnt fix on my own. The guys were friendly and knew what the problem was as soon as I showed it to them. Impressive since this is a 48 yr old rifle. Within minutes the gun was fixed and I had an explanation of what had happened. Good experiences like this one are sometimes a bit rare but I feel like they are the norm in this store. I look forward to doing a lot of my business in the future.Give them a try you wont be disappointed.

Super awesome people! I purchased a compound bow from another pro-shop and brought it to Foxhole to be set up. During the setup we noticed a manufacturer defect (yes the other shop sold me a defective bow). Foxhole filed an RMA with PSE Archery, sent it in where PSE deemed there was a defect and replaced my bow for me. Foxhole was there for me every step of the way updating me on the situation and caring for my needs. Never once did I feel insulted, guilty for buying from another shop, disrespected, nor was I charged extra. I cant say enough about the respect and professionalism given to me and my family by Foxhole. Not only will all my future bow purchases go through them, but so will my future firearms purchases. A+++

Rude and not helpful!

Just purchased a Hoyt bow and the price was excellent but more important the service and experience was exceptional. They helped us find the right bow, fit us, let us test fire and then adjusted and checked everything. No hard sale, no rush..we were treated exceptionally even when we wanted to think on it. Dwayne really takes pride in his craft and John cares about his customers.

Hands down the best place for your bow or anything archery related as far as service goes anywhere Ive been. Not the widest selection of things to choose from in the store but whenever I have a problem I only trust wayne. Super knowledgeable and great guy. Ive only ever bought one firearm from here but am highly satisfied with that too so far.

Went once, probably wont be back, it looked like regular customers were well treated. Being my first time the wall was the most welcoming feature. I bought my AR at Academy and was much happier.

Bought a H&R 20 Gauge Snake Tamer. The gun was perfect for what I wanted it to do BUT the shell casing sticks in the barrel after shooting. It requires a cleaning rod to remove the casing. I read that this is a common occurrence. Next time I will go with a pump.This is no reflection on Foxhole---they just got a bad shotgun from H&R

The first time I went there I really didnt know much about the store. But quickly after talking to an employee, I noticed they were very knowledgable about guns and ammo. I plan on going back.

The other gun shop right near downtown Gainesville, and the BEST place to go for your firearms needs. Great prices, and they even negotiate some and are very willing to work with you. The staff is extremely friendly, and better yet, they remember you. They remembered me after my first visit when my wife went in alone (referring to me and something I was looking at) to make her first ever firearms purchase. They remembered her the next time I went in and asked how we were both doing. Now thats small town hospitality! They make you feel very comfortable looking around, and not standoffish at all. Since we were new to the area, they even chatted us up about local laws and differences from where we moved, local places to shoot, etc. They have a great selection, and even if you dont see what you want, Im sure they can get it for you. Hands down, one of the best LGSs that Ive ever been to, and I will continue to happily bring them my business.

Knowledgeable staff. Very patient with a customer who knew very little. Answered all of my questions and helped order equipment that was out of stock. They asked questions about my order and helped prevent me from order a product that would not have worked for me; cost them a sale but saved me a good bit of cash.

Went in to get a threaded 9mm barrel for my Glock 22 so that I wouldnt have to stock up on two different calibers. Great service and selection of products.

I was wanting to get some arrows and ammunition for the up coming hunting seasons but they didnt not have the .270 shells I was looking for, very limited selection. I looked around for 20 minutes with no one asked me if I needed help with anything. I was unable to even get a price on the arrows. There was only 2 people in there besides me. Not coming back.
