Really friendly service. They have a free archery proving grounds out back with several targets you can shoot. The targets are arranged up to 70-80yds. Interesting place to check out. Great place if youre looking to get into compound (hunting) or bare bow shooting. Theyve done tours of their facility great learning experience!
Awesome place. Got everything I needed for my archery hunting trip this fall. Knowledgeable pro shop. What you would expect from a place that the archery legend fred Bear built.
Stopped in back in 2001, when the Museum was still there. Amazing display, as a bowhunter, I enjoyed it more than Disney! Too bad it ended. Sad. Store was nice too, lots of old school Traditional Archery gear, clothing, etc. Definitely will return in the future. Make the pilgrimage at least once.
Great place to visit. Fascinating collection of trophies from around the world and archery equipment. We have been twice and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended for a nice family outing. You can also see the factory through the glass windows where they manufacture the Bear archery equipment.
A very poorly ran company. They have a huge turnover rate and management is super unprofessional. The way they treat anyone is a joke and not normal.
I did the fire alarm inspection years ago on this building and I was very impressed with the quality of the bows they were making. Also the fred bear memorabilia is awesome!
I Called about a Bear Montana Bow that I bought second hand. I had a few questions to ask about the bow and they were as friendly as could be, knowledgeable and gave me all the time I needed. Very nice people.
Lousy customer service! No interest in helping me out to get my bow fixed. I am very disappointed.
Very disappointed with their customer service. I have sent Bear email letting them know that my almost new compound bow has broken limb and some other minor errors. I also ask an Australian retailer from whom I have purchased it, to help me contacting them. It is now almost a month and we still didn’t receive respond. It is an excellent hunting time but I can’t go out because of this issue.Leaving this review is sadly my last resource to get their attention and also to inform public about Bear’s pore customer service. They should be ashamed!!!
Very very small shop. Very knowledgeable and informational staff. Asked him all sorts of questions about the Fred Bear history. Some really cool antique bows. They still have some Trophy Ridge Meat Seeker broadheads. Wish there was a proper meuseum and tour of the facility.
Bear customer service is Top Notch. Had an issue with my bow, brought it in to Cody who did the repair right then. Instead of having to wait for parts, etc...it was taken care of. And under warranty too! Im not saying other pro shops arent good, or other manufacturers dont produce a good bow, but Bear stands behind their product. That counts for a lot in my book. Thanks to Cody, and Bear bows, I was able to get back shooting. It was worth the drive to go straight to the manufacturer.
Best Archery place. Used to be even cooler when it included the museum and the store was open longer hours, but the store and range are still awesome.
Left 3 messages and have not gotten a response....waiting on my bow still to get new strings
Great family fun, went with my dad an brother and had a great time! staff was really nice too
I stopped by accident while killing time in between transplant appointments for my daughter who had a recent double lung transplant and wanted to see if it was possible for her to maybe take a tour or watch them work but unfortunately they were closed but we did get a pic2with the big Bear out front and after reading about the founder I was, extremely impressed . Worth a stop and maybe next appointment we will try again
I use to love Bear bows and was a Jennings fan for years. Once they stopped letting the pro shop sell close-out bows and they let dealers, that was it for me. I sold all my Bear bows but the re-curves and take down.I now shoot PSE bows. Its a shame a company forgets who actually buys their bows. I still love the man who made the name though. The company needs to go back to selling the small things like the catalog they use too. Its a shame they sold a mans legacy to Bass Pro...it makes me sad to think off all his stuff owned by bass pro.
I have never had such better service anywere else! I came here for the first time today to get my bow fixed up, and I got better service then bass pro, gander mountain, and dicks sporting goods, they took the time to show me what I needed to do to make sure i hit that good shot every time.
The local shop in Tallahassee said I would have to go through Bear to get the part I needed for my wifes bow. The thought of driving 2 hours to Gator Country was not my idea of a good time. I am so glad we made the trip. Cody in the Pro Shop knew exactly what we needed to get the job done. He even tuned the bow and made needed adjustments. Cody went so far beyond what I expected to help us. I will be making this trip many more times in the future.
Visited the pro shop and got some great advice from a nice man working there.
Bear products are tops. Pro shop staff is awesome and knowledgeable. There to help, not overcharge.
It is nice. Small store to get your bow needs and also you can call and do a tour of the place.
I bought a fiberglass bowfishing Arrow at the factory Pro Shop for $5 more than retail at Bass Pro Shop a complete rip-off you guys should be ashamed of yourselves as Sportsmen and as a company. For the $5 rip off I will buy a bow Elsewhere for my next one what a sour taste you guys
A world class archery company. First class in quality, customer service, and innovation.
Been a Bear fan my entire life now my kids are the same. Cody in the pro shop has helped us in many situations getting bows tuned and shooting right.
Terrible service!!! 20yrs ago and now today. 20yrs ago got a bear takedown surprise form my wife, first shot string fell off, limb was turned, bear wouldnt do anything about it.. havent bought a bear product sinceLast year bought 2 Trophy Ridge stabilizer, didnt know Bear owned it,the tip fell off both one i found and glued on, sent a email to TR said i would like to purchase a new tip.
