I love the taqueria. Its all good, the burritos, nachos, asada fries. Good portion and good price.

They always have what Im looking for. If not, I ask the staff to bring it in as inventory. They listen to their customers. I shop for my mom mostly. Thank you Valley Foods.

A friend of mines told me about this spot and let me say, i am addicted to their food. The best and most affordable joint in Fresno. I had the pleasure of trying the new Valley burger 🍔 thats not even on the menu.. 5 ⭐ & without a doubt, the best burger in Fresno... That special sauce and the fries 🍟 are just next level. Well done.

Valley Foods is a great place to get a hot meal and good meat that you can turn around and cook later on they have a wide variety of drinks to choose from and Candy selection the staff is friendly and theyre courteous and its clean I would definitely recommend going back again the parking is awesome

The food is pretty good. Take out only! The store is a little pricey to shop. Its the only grocery store in the area so If you need just a couple of items its better than driving to the main stores which are 2 miles + in distance!

On top of the fresh food selection theres also a wide variety of fresh meats. Highly convenient its a great place to stop if your shopping after work. Youre essentials are also available. There is also a spot to order food as well. I highly recommend the asada fries. They have the right amount of meat and salty fries. (And for around $7) the burrito is also amazing pretty big too. If you swing by here you wont regret it.

Heard they had good burritos, but it wasnt all that. Ordered a few burritos. The one I had was a chili verde with everything in it. It was bland and dry. I only gave it two stars because while I was waiting they were playing some good cumbia songs.

Pretty nice establishment. The help, at times, seems to be a rude. But overall, a great place to shop at. Prices are reasonable and its not all the hustle and bustle, like most of the stores in the Fresno area

Me and my girlfriend go here for all our groceries. Its super convenient since we live only 10 minutes away. The store is always clean and the staff is super friendly. I like this store because of the staff and the selection of items they have. The asada fries and tacos are good as well. Please try them out

We waited, oh so impatiently, for this grocery store to finally open downtown. Besides Smart & Final, which is pricey, and Grocery Outlet, which is far more reasonable, but all the across downtown, so if youre on foot, its too far from Silvercrest, or Iron Bird Lofts, where we used to live, so, right down Divisadero, at Van Ness, this store is fully stocked, with all the all the typical departments, like a deli, a bakery, and even a restaurant, where you can get freshly prepared tacos, burritos, menudo, and a number of other tasty offerings. Each is as delicious as the last. I recommend giving each a chance to become your new favorite. The produce is fresh and attractive, the deli has an assortment of meats for every recipe you can imagine, and even a few prepared with their own marinades and seasonings. Between these two departments, the aisles are stocked with all the non-perishable things youd need. I have been surprised each time Ive visited by the selection, considering the size of the store, which is small compared with most grocery stores. But they pack a lot into a small space, wasting nothing. Theres plenty of dairy and they offer plenty of frozen items and other beverages. You wont be disappointed, unless youre trying really hard, then, youd be disappointed with ambrosia. 😉

The manager and some of the people there always make me feel welcome there. But the young cashier not to nice, I dont like her service at all when I see her I just walk out. But the store up to today I always see it clean and a good service.

Love this place. Not only is it like right on corner of my neighborhood but its always stocked with everything I need and super clean and if you ever have a question you can always message them through the Google Map app and literally they reply back within minutes if not less. If you havent checked out Valley Food your def missing out!

Hooray! so glad this place opened--an actual grocery store in Lowell Neighborhood and Downtown Fresno. I visited on a Saturday morning just as they opened at 7am. Very well organized and clean. Friendly staff, its cool you can get tacos and other hot food items freshly made there. It has a butcher type set up so you know the meat is fresh is well. They have a pretty good selection of every type of grocery/household item you could need.

Gratful for this lul store bein built n our neighborhood, i jus cant wait til they get WIC.

Weve waited years for this market to open. Yay! Clean, friendly and well stocked. Not a supermarket nor is it supposed to be. It is a very nice neighborhood market for the SoTow area. The only reason I dropped a star was the produce. We were there 4 days after they opened and the produce was JUST starting to show its age. Produce is REALLY hard for a neighborhood market, but if youre going to do it, you have to do it right.Best of luck guys!!

Well, Ive shopped there a couple of times now and had good experiences both times.However, it qualifies for my ongoing complaint: there are many items that dont have prices, or I cant find them if they do. Anything from various cold alcoholic beverages to some produce and a few things on the shelves. I hate having to try to find an associate to ask, that then has to usually take the item to the register to scan or asks someone else for the price.... Id probably buy more stuff if I knew the price before getting to the checkout stand and having to make a quick decision on keeping it or having them put it back.A few of the sale items were sold out at the time I was there.They do need a bicycle rack and a provision for a wheelchair entrance - like a button to push that opens one of the manual doors.Ive gotten marinated meat from the meat counter, chicken fajitas, boneless chicken leg meat, and pork al pastor; all very very good and not too salty as Ive encountered at other stores once in a while.Havent tried the hot food et cetera counter yet. I see it received a few negative reviews, but hopefully that was just a case of the people being new and needing training and experience working the counter.Overall, I Iike the place, especially being just down the street from me.
