This grocery store is by far my favorite in town. The bakery and floral department are amazing!!! The kiddos always get a free treat at the bakery and the floral department is always so beautiful. The delis food is sooooo good. The Mac n cheese and chicken strips are special after a doctor visit or day with mom. Produce is the best by far and no, I dont mind paying a little more for fruit that isnt on the edge of being spoiled. Lastly, the employees are always very nice and go out of their way for us.

This would be what some refer to as my regular store. This fine establishment has catered to my every grocery and extra- curricular grocery(wine, spirits, liquor and beer) desire. The staff here are almost like family and assist me with every question and or requests that i may present. If youre wanting friendly, prompt and precise service, save yourself some time and come here, it will be well worth the drive especially if you dont know a whole lot and did have a regular store. If you arrive in the evening, the managers badge is Tom, hes one of the nicest, cordial and accommodating managers Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. Do yourself and your refrigerator a favor, shop Vons cedar and shepherd.

Im always able find what I need when I shop here. They always have good prices on produce and dairy.

This is a great local market. The store is clean and bright with a good assortment of groceries including good fresh meat, fish and vegetables. These are higher in prices than elsewhere, especially organics. But if you want fresh bread, a good cheese and soup, sandwiches and a salad pre-made to go, the convenience and variety makes this a good choice.

I dont like calling to complain about how service could have been different; thats why I like this Vons.only reason I called was to compliment the two young adults working in the hot food section in the front of the store, these two were busy cutting meats and such while still acknowledging customers and getting to them soon they were both friendly helpful and customer oriented.Most impressive was the thoughtfulness and safety..

Come for the groceries. Stay for the amazing Star Wars merch.

Lots more product than Walmart overhea. lacked a and W diet Route beer In smaller bottles. Had trouble finding other items in store will try ordering online next for home delivery.

Went to get something cold to drink while I waited for my GMC Sierra getting a wash at car wash next door, store is very clean staff was friendly and always smiling and interacting with customers go check it out.

This is by far the best standard grocery store in the area. The store environment is fantastic and sale prices can be really good, especially with the app. I wish they had more locations around town like they used to, but I will drive past three different Save Mart locations to shop here instead.

Vons has the BEST bagels!! The bakery always does a great Bob of birthday cakes. The will make almost anything you can dream up. The meats are always top notch. The produce is fresh and in good condition. It lasts longer when you get home. We have been long-time Vons shoppers.The curbside pick up is fast and easy.

Only place I can find greuyer cheese. They have a good variety that you cant find anywhere else. Just wish there was one closer to my location.

The check out girl, “Carly” on Tuesday, 5/11/21 @ 9:40pm was quite rude I thought. Did not say Hi until I finally did and then didn’t say Thanks either when I left. Pretty much ignored me. Nuts. Usually the staff at Vons are very nice but this was a complete 180 degrees so I was surprised...Let’s see...Also, her tone was condescending cause I was returning some stuff ! That’s weird. I come here often. Will stop by again and update my review, if things improve ie.

My absolute favorite Vonda to shop at in Fresno!Cant say enough good things about this place, so to spare you the dramatic details I will just say that their products from produce, seafood, deli and everything in between is absolutely top notch!These guys are the only official distributor of Boars Head meat and cheese products in Fresno, and once youve gone Boars Head, everything else becomes inferior lol.

Another bad experience with buying crab and oysters at Vons. The last crab was black and nasty, yesterday, they looked like 2nd quality product. Not 1 half was intact with a pinch and all legs. None had a pincher and they were broken up sections with dead joints from missing links.The oysters are a joke. About the size of a prescription bottle cap. The weekly flyer said bags of 8 oyster but there were no bags.SaveMart has much better quality and size on oysters and it appears that Vons just doesnt care to sell 1st quality seafood.Makes me question their other meat products.

I read somewhere that Americans on average spend 7years of their life WAITING.Probably a large part in line at Vons, Safeway and Costco. Look at Trader Joe’s to do better: seems like most staff there can jump in and out of the cashier role... and the lines move quickly

Best Vons i have been to in some time.

As an infrequent patron, I found the store clean and for the most part, well organized. Most of the store shelves were stocked and only a few sections were empty. Produce varieties and prices were competitive. The weak link was the cashier, where attitude and friendliness is a hit or miss proposition.

Top of the line, capable of going head to head with Whole Foods! The BEST place for Passover supplies! Pricey, but quality costs, mediocrity is cheap...

I love this Vons and I come here for Starbucks releases. 😆 Eventhough I live across town and about a mile from KC. Thank you for being amazing.

Today I went to Vons to buy a cake I waited 23 minutes only for them to tell me that the cake was expired and it was still on display from the day before and the worker was being so slow and he did not even know how to box the cake. and he was guilt tripping the lady who is buying cake any other name tag on the top of his head instead of on his shirt and he’s being very disrespectful he told my mom that the diner cake is called a dinner cake when the tag says diner cake, and he also made my mom upset because they left an expired cake and we ate it and we threw up in the shop please don’t go here he did not even say sorry for making you wait mum and now my mom is very upset because her cheese melted, now we have to go buy new cheese! How disrespectful. I would not recommend going here workers are very disrespectful making a cheese melt. And my sistershe wanted to buy a cupcake and he said no you fat rat and smashed it on her hair

Love this place. They open at 5AM! The only grocery plce in Fresno open that early. The staff is awesome and friendly. The store in general is extremely clean. Definitely my go-to-place and would recommend all early risers to check it out.

Friendly, helpful staff. Large well lit and well stocked store with excellent fresh produce and fruit. Like all Vons/Safeway stores they are a tad expensive, but their products are high quality. I like their store brand products. Excellent bakery; the baker makes German Pumpernickel bread on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Restrooms are clean. They have a Vons gas station in the same shopping center. Customers are neat & clean too!

Went here to pay for my Amazon products in person and was done with no problem as I had tried at Rite Aide early in the day and was unsuccessful. They also have a box in the store for you 2 pick up any items purchased thru Amazon as well👏👏👍😁 Will definitely BE returning to utilize service again🌟

This Vons is a really good grocery store, its clean, usually well stocked and most of the staff are friendly and helpful, that being said I do want to say that the deli counter staff usually seem to be in a poor mood, and get irritated when someone is to be served

Everything is old or going bad they are fraudulent selling over priced food to elder rich white folks juices old fruits old bread old etc do not go here even if you need a few quick things you will regret it when your consuming mold smh

I have never grocery shopped here in my life...HOWEVER... the wife and I go in for the fresh breads and desserts... they also have a crazy good wine selection! Vons...who knew?

I started using the Vons Drive Up & Go after a horrible experience with Walmarts (over an hour later with an additional hour and a half wait). Vons has been consistently bringing out the food within 4 minutes and will often finish orders early (but the food is always still cold-ice cream nowhere near melted). I have been thoroughly impressed with them.

If you are a Vons club member, Fridays are the best days to go to Vons! Theyve got unbeatable deals on Fridays. Other than that, the stores are always clean and well kept. If its not Friday, their prices are slightly higher than elsewhere.

Vons, owned by Safeway, is a really good grocery store. Its clean, well stocked and has the best quality of fresh fruits and vegetables around. Its a little more pricey than other stores (ie WalMart), but the quality is much greater. Check out is fast and accurate, they offer to walk your cart to your car and unload it, and they do it with a smile. Its my go to choice for produce and other items, and their deli section has great choices. It costs a little more but its well worth it.

Vons is very hit or miss with pricing and selection. They run much higher than Walmart and tend to disguise this fact with their membership deals. They do have a moderately large selection of interesting fruit but half has been spoiled lately. The flower dept and bakery dept is really good and well priced though, so that is a redeeming quality. Overall, it is more expensive but offers some good items in select categories.
