Location is not the greatest but good service. Usually it is easy access but they have construction going on ventura.

Huge selection of groceries and the prices are excellent. Very small chance you wont find all your grocery needs here. Friendly and helpful staff all in all 5 star experience.

Bathroom is disgusting! Saturday about 11:30am the sign shows it was last attended on Thursday! Floor in front of toilet was GROSS! No toilet paper. Employees were not interested and Ken was on his personal cell phone. Cherries were labeled as tangerines and the refrigerated vegetables were a disaster - just like the frozen foods.

Very good deals on bulk items for business and restaurant resale. Pricing for the public is very good as well! The cashiers work fast and theyre very polite. Id recommend going if you want a good experience.

It is the only grocery store in downtown Fresno.

Weekday daytime security is very harsh on most folk. A great place to stock up and find those last minute items. Great small salads, healthy home cooked pizzas, and usually carries the best fresh hand picked lemons in town!

Id recommend this store for any store convenience and they make sure your mask is worn or cant get service. They have social distancing marks a. Your always stay welcomed by their employees.

Very good place to shop. Friendly, courteous staff. Clean and organized shopping.Unfortunately, they only had ham for sandwiches. No other luncheon meat could be found. Bologna or pimento loaf, or any other luncheon meat was not found or designated in the meat area.

They are well stocked, always clean, and super friendly. They are close to my work so I can take advantage of their specials each week. They have a great system for cashiering while distancing.

Terrible customer service. Ive been going there for years. Do the majority of my household grocery shopping there for the past 8 years. Not any more and all over $13. The store Mgr was unreasonable. She made $13 but lost a very loyal customer. I hope it worth her pride. There are a lot of other grocery stores in Fresno and closer to my house.

Security seems to only pick his favorites (women) who walks in with no mask and yet sends back others to get a mask. He always makes us feel uncomfortable friendly to certain group of ppl. We drive across town to other smart and final then to shop at our home store.

Management is what makes the difference here. Great service and always with a smile. Only downside is long lines.

Awesome. Not really if at all a place for organic food, at least at this location. However for the community it surrounds this place is a gem. Of some uncommon goods. Mexican flare, and plenty of alcohol. Bulk items are the best, even the charcoal has been great.

Went to this smart & final to buy some stuff got stopped at the door by the little mexican security guard because my toddler did not have a mask on i had mine on i told him its fine he then followed me through the store as if i was stealing something called over an employee to complain about my child yet niether of them had their mask on correctly anyways lmao so i told them wear your masks right and then you can complain also people were wearing masks to get in then taking them off or pulling them down below their noses once in the store (as the security guard and employee were) i left didnt get anything and will not return to this ghetto ran store. As previously stated the rent a cop picks who he wants to mess with and is passive with who he knows or likes to hell with this store until they fix their problems

Very clean store. Good pricing and products. The staff is great and its an easy shopping experience. I love the fact that they sell things you need for hosting. Just not a lot of frozen fruit.

We buy ice for work. Today I got 14, 9 lb. blocks of ice for big water cooler outside. Today was 97 deg., so the students drank water like camels!

Lightweight rude workers

I understand the store is in a poor area surrounded by homeless and drug addicts but the leadership here needs to have a talk with their rude was security guard. I came in to make a purchase and due to the cold atmosphere of the store I had to use the restroom. I asked the security guard and he was extremely rude. I decided not to purchase any items here and take my business elsewhere

If you have a backpack for a purse make sure you dont take it in leave it in your car. Better yet dont go to this store. The security guard wants you to leave it at the front unguarded. While he walks around. I have my wallet, checkbook, glasses, money all in there. P.S. if someone wants to steal you dont have to have a backpack to do it there are easier ways to steal. A big purse, or if you have pockets.

I would give them zero stars. we went in to buy a turkey at the advertised price and was told we had to buy it at full price because we had to spend 25 dollars. we spent 25.44 without the turkey. I will never do business with smart and final again.

This is close to where I work, and its nicely upgraded. They have fresh produce, and everything I need for grocery shopping as well as quick trips there for something needed fast.

Like the convenience of the store. Especially now that it has expanded. Parking is all at this location but its a good place to go. Does need more check outs open

I love this store! The staff iare so polite and helpful, there are never pan handlers or really rude people and the prices are fairly competitive to nearby stores that cant compare to the wonderful atmosphere here. I wish they had a bakery and a deli but its worth making it my main grocery trip and going somewhere else for fresh baked goods and deli services. I also wish they delivered to me but they alas they dont because I live in a rural zip code but Im not actually that far out its like a 20min drive, I cant always get what I want but at least I can get what i need.

Downtown Smart and Final is great! Fast and convenient...my one stop shop after work before I head home or if I need a quick something in the morning Opens at 6am so that makes it so convenient and is my last stop just before I hit the freeway...always clean, newly remodeled and the people are helpful!

A few products are a bit over priced, and they need a bigger variety of certain products. Other than that, I love this store. Its a smaller more convenient version of Costco.

Love love love this place, even more so now that it is a Smart n Final Extra. Right off the freeway plus great prices always make this store one of my top choices for groceries.

Since expanding, this store keeps improving. The produce quality and selection today was the best Ive seen yet for this location.

Currently undergoing a huge expansion, but still lots of good deals if you know where to look! Cant wait until its done in about a week!

Nice store to shop in

Really convenient cuz its right down the street from apartments I live in over by the stadium. Most of the time I just walk there and back. Now that they remodeled it its much larger and they carry a much larger selection of groeceries too so I go there more often now. The only two things I could say that make me go somewhere else sometimes are the prices and I wish they stayed open until 11 or midnight but I get it the surrounding area isnt the nicest
