I love the cheap tools, but now the prices arent as cheap as they use to be and the coupons are not as good. I overheard an employee talking about how much the stores are supposed to sell now. Seems like they management is pushing them to sell more than giving deals now days

You dont have to break the bank to buy quality tools. All tools at super affordable prices. Definitely recommend if you are looking for buying tools to get your things done.

Terrible customer service. Zero employees proactively asking customers if they need assistance on the store floor. When I went up to an employee, she gave off a vibe that she hated her job, zero smile or welcoming attitude. Cashier got upset when I declined a sign-up offer for their loyalty program. Garden sprayer I purchased broke after 3 uses. Cheap prices may be their motto, but compromised service and reliability should be added so their customers know what to expect when they get home. Only positive note was that the store was pretty clean.

This was probably my best experience with customer service, I had wanted a new tool box, and saw that the US General 56in Chest was on sale and decided to go get it, and was very happy with my purchase. As well as I got my torque wrench replaced. I buy a lot of tools from harbor freight and was very pleased with my experience, out of all the tools that had failed and had a lifetime warranty, they replaced it without any frustration. Ive purchased a lot of tools from many different manufactures, and by far harbor freight has great tools at a great price and you dont need to get snap on or matco because you have a lifetime guarantee with harbor freight. I work on a lot of cars and found that harbor freight has always been a good experience, especially with their warrantied items. I would also like to talk about the great experience I had with Johnathan, not only did he help me with the purchase of my tool box, but he had gone out of the way to load it on my car and he went out the way to help me, I believe he was the store manager, but would like to thank him again. Would definitely consider harbor freight for good prices on good quality tools

Service and high quality tools and equipment are still there.Unfortunately the coupons are gone and apparently replaced by periodic sales updates sent via email.This now makes me think twice about going there for tools needs as I can find equivalent or even better tools for less at home Depot, Lowest, or even Amazon.

They say the commercial construction company wants more name brand..But its the same gamble.. get a warranty.Its about same quality for a majority of item types..Just costs allot less..(Oh,. And nobody writes a Google review like me.. Who satisfies me as a customer got them extra!) Haha

Lousy customer service, I asked where a couple of items were, the location she sent me to had nothing to do with what I had asked her about. The other item, a push stick, she said HF doesn’t carry that m, which is not true, because I bought one from them before the pandemic. Their website is no better, it said both items were in stock. I’ve searched the store twice, snd couldn’t find them. Waste of time going there.

I purchased a soldering iron/tool by the name schneider! And I am using it to solder wires/pins for wire harness on my car! And this soldering gun/tool is the very best out of ALL the places I went...I went to All the Hardware stores and parts stores and this was the place I found it....And customer service was very helpful!

After my third visit Im loving this store more and more. Stopped to buy a airless sprayer today, cashier, possible the store manager went out of his way to accommodate us. Harbor freight has some of the best customer service Ive seen. Was highly suspicious of the quality of the products given their pricing but so far so good.

Great selection of welding supplies, tool storage, Icon tools, well made generators and Doyle hand tools ( which are as good if not better than Kline but far more reasonably priced). Good customer service but the winch only has 90 day warranty I went with one on Amazon that was 1/3 the price, pulled more weight and had a one year warranty

The usual, low prices, quality on products is hit or miss so dont buy anything too expensive here but all the small stuff is awesome and worth it. I will continue to shop here. Be careful with returns though, check your paperwork carefully! Bought a warranty on a generator so I could return it if it didnt work great because the reviews were hit and miss, but they only gave me store credit for it. Still was able to return it though so its fine, not a big deal.

The older location was closer, but this one is not too far. Plenty of parking. Best to do the research at home as there is not much help if you need to ask something in busy times.

Always plenty of good tools to be found if you choose carefully. Staff are knowledgeable about their stock.

We are still in the time of Corona virus and yet I managed to get into the store while forgetting my face mask. I picked up the items I wanted but had to go back for my mask. Its all good, but you might think another customer would remind you about the mask. The do have access for handicapped with wheelchair access. The aisles are wide enough for wheelchairs too.

Its not a big store, but it has specialized tools. I felt that the types of tools I was looking for were easier to find than the Home Depot.

Jus purchased CoverPro 10X20 Portable Car Canopy .Ive been reluctant to buy for 2 years .So this week I bought oneTook bout 1.5 hrs to set entire assembly#1 The parts are separated & Numbered. So it Very easy to separate parts. NO Missing Parts#2 Instructions very easy to follow#3 I cheated, when to final assembly assembled the Canopy this way ...#4 now got to return to harbour Freight & pick up tarps to cover sides & One backsideSo I can start tear down / restore my 1958 Chev apache truck. Winter project#5. Harbour Freight. This Canopy was easy to Assemble. 👍👍☹️

Prices on par with Wallmart but better selection of tools. However, the quality is not as good as Lowes or Home Depot. Over time I wound up replacing all the tools I bought from HFT with better quality from elsewhere.

I wont say all their tools are great, but there are some great gems here. Be smart about what you buy and you will be happy with your purchase. I regularly come here for certain tools. Like their impact socket sets are great!!

We went there to look for outdoor lights for the holidays and couldnt have been more happier with what we found!

Phone call to Fremont goes like this. Someone picks up, asks to put on hold. Put on hold. 15 minutes later still on hold. I checked how busy they are (it is Covid-19 after all), using Google live, and its not busy.Very big difference compared to Hayward Harbor Freight. They listen to a sentence or two before putting me on hold. Say it may be a few minutes. Before a minute is up, someone else is already on to help me.

Make sure you open up the box and look inside to make sure it is complete with all the accessories before you pay. Bought another xacto knife set. Lucky I checked inside if it was complete. 1st and 2nd box was not complete missing a few blades. I also bought a Braun rechargeable flood light $49.00 but I had a 20% off coupon. Flood light fully charged supposed to last 4hrs. I powered it on when I got home and it was working even with the box cut and the handle for the stand was protruding.

A grown mens toy store that even my 4 year old son enjoys visiting. Im sure some of their items are of poor quality but of the many things Ive bought over of the last ten years, nothing is broken yet.

This is a good size Harbor Freight. I went to get a woodworking table because they didnt have it in Hayward the guy brought it out to the car for me and help me load it theyre very nice and helpful. By the way the woodworking table that I got was the cheapest I could find around compared to Lowes and Home Depot and other online stores except eBay

Good store. Clean, staff was cool, and it seems like theres never too many people like other ones that Ive been to. Had MOST things stocked, but did lack a couple of things. I think the only really negative for me personally was the clearance section wasnt very big.
