Went here to print something and buy a cord. The printing associate told me I could go to staples because one of the machines wasn’t working and she had too many big orders. Then I asked the young man at the cash register for a A/B cable his reply was “look in this isle but if it isn’t there I know they have them at Best Buy”In short don’t go here because they don’t want you to be there lol
Horrible customer service! The manager should be fired.
They are very short staffed, which is probably not their fault. But they evidently only have one person trained to do one job. I needed something done in printing and had to wait like 30 minutes because the print guy had just gone on break. However, I saw other employees, including a supervisor, who didn’t look extremely busy. You would think that the supervisor would have some cross training to fill in when employees who are in one manned departments take their breaks. Smh
Purchased some items with one of them being a 20oz drink for 2.50. Got home, took a drink only to find it flat. Looked at the expiration date and it was in April, 4 months past expiration. Tried to call the store 3 times no answer, reached out to Office Depot customer service and they could not contact anyone at the store either. Now I have to drive all the way back to the store to try to get a refund. Needless to say I wont be shopping at the store anymore.
Katti was amazing and her customer service was out of this world.
VERY under staffed! i live 45 away and have tried calling on several occasions to see if something is in stock but no answer when calling. Trying to get help in the store is just as difficult. After 20 minutes of being in the store I was finally able to get help from their computer guy who was very helpful hence 2 stars vs 1
Came in to make copies and noticed an employee with brown braided hair(I did not get her name) not wearing a mask. I didnt even see one on her at all. I also watched other customers wait in line to check out while she stood at copy and print chatting with another employee. Aside from that, making copies was easy and efficient and everyone else was friendly.
Thank you so much John for saving the day!! I appreciate you very much 🤗
I placed an online order to have one of my items (an executive office chair) put together and selected the curbside pickup option. I received an email stating that my order was ready for pickup and headed to the store that very next day. I parked in the designated Curbside parking space and selected the Im Here option within the email. After sitting and waiting for 20 minutes, I decided to call the store from the parking lot but got no answer. Not even a Please Hold answering service. Just a constant ringing until my phone hung up due to no answer. Defeating the purpose of choosing Curbside Contactless Service, I decided to go in and speak to an associate about what was going on. After waiting around for help, I proceeded to standing in the checkout line to speak to the cashier about my purchase. After standing around for another 10 minutes until the designated associate came to assist me with my order, the chair was not put together despite the fact that I had paid the additional fee to do so. Without a valid reason other than the crew mustve missed it (even though theres a whole separate line on the invoice showing the assembly option and fee), the guy offered to give me a floor display instead. With the COVID numbers being the way that they are, I respectfully declined and took the chair unassembled. While I appreciate the guy trying to right the wrong, this was an extreme inconvenience for me, as something that should have taken 10-15 minutes tops for pickup, turned into almost an hour long event with me having to go inside to track people down then having to help load all three pieces of furniture that I had purchased. Ive shopped at this store twice before, and both times walked out due to no one offering to help me or not being able to find anyone to even ask for assistance other than the cashier up front. With COVID being such the presence that it is, the curbside service needs to be a lot better than what they showed me on that day. I will absolutely be sure to let anyone know that asks, to only view this store as a last resort. And if you purchase online, just know that you will have to go in to pick it up and it may or may not be put together.
Staples curbside? Fail. Best Buy pickup? Fail. Office Depot? Flawless execution. Thank you for benefiting all of mankind who don’t have 2 days or 6 hours to wait for pickup order. Office Depot had my order ready for curbside pickup literally 5 mins after I placed it. Very very impressed ^_^
I ordered a lovely cabinet from Office Depot. Unfortunately, it arrived broken in four places. I contacted customer service and was told that the broken cabinet would be picked up in one week and I would be credited back at that time. I then had to pay again to reorder a replacement. I was home the entire day that the cabinet was to be picked up but noone came. Ive been on hold on three occasions for over an hour to try to get them to reschedule the pick-up. Today, after being on hold for an hour and a half, I was told that someone would call me back within an hour. Its now been three hours and Ive heard nothing. I would advise caution ordering anything online from Office Depot. I have no idea if Ill ever get a refund, in spite of sending four pictures of the broken pieces. I regret reordering the cabinet and will never do business with Office Depot again.
Disorganized, unhelpful, uninformed and unwilling to help customers. Find another place that will be willing to help you with your office needs because this place is not it.
Love the store, love the staff, but there is this one manager i believe who gave me a little bit of a hard time. she came off kinda rude and entitled i think her name was emma or emily i cant remember. one star for her five stars for the store.
DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!! The manager lets his mask hang down by his neck and gets within a foot of customers wearing masks. The mail center employee wears NO mask at all, drinks and wipes his mouth with his hands and then touches the keyboard for addresses he wants you to touch next. There are signs everywhere about social Distancing and safe practices and the customers show more care than the staff.
I guess I will purchase ink elsewhere. The only employee was working on a printing order on the phone. She saw me waiting and paused her call to page another employee. But it Nobody showed up
Benjamin very thoroughly investigated technical issue I was having with my computer. He made excellent recommendations and was very patient. The store was busy but he gave me the attention I needed. This was a very good experience.
Skender was extraordinarily welcoming and knowledgeable. He helped streamline our shopping experience and made selecting a desk and chair simple!
Horrible service in the print department! After waiting 40 minutes, I found out that the person that is working there is not their regular printing employee. it took her 30 minutes to service one customer to mail 3 boxes. She didnt know what she was doing. Then she attempted to copy one page for another customer and the copy machine broke. She called one of the managers, who also didnt know what he was doing, but told someone that they are not regular print shop employees. Basically they dont know what they are doing. Wish I knew that when I came in 40 minutes earlier. Just left. What a wasted time!
Benjamin and Vee in printing were absolutely the best! They took care of the (big) job I had very quickly, and everything looks great. Thank you so much for what you did, and Im so appreciative of how pleasant you were!
I love the employees at our local Office Depot. They are hands down the most helpful. And a huge shout out to the Printing department. They are my go to for my print jobs. And each time I have to get something printed they have gone above and beyond to get my print job done with excellence.
Poor customer service. There were three workers when I came in. The one at the checkout counter had the walkie talkie but was really rude with an attitude. The one that eventually helped me was helpful and gave me useful information but did not seem like she wanted to be there.
It should never take 35 minutes to mail 4 packages and 4 times to get address information loaded into your system. Upgrade your network equipment. Not a happy customer. Employees were very nice though.
I am a huge fan of Google Reviews and Henry at the Office Depot at Carl D Silver Parkway deserves the best review I can offer today!!!Yesterday, I was quite distraught after contacting Office Depot on Chat and Calling Office Depot Customer Service and not finding anyone who could assist me with a true personal issue.I worked all week and had planned on purchasing an l shaped desk and a hutch that was on sale for half price and I had planned to pick it up Saturday after work. Well, Saturday I came down sick with a high grade fever and was down for the count from 4pm until 2pm on Sunday. When I recovered enough on Sunday to finish the purchase online and go pick up the desk, the sale price had ended. And NOT ONE Office Depot person I contacted could even begin to help me. All of them, said basically, sorry, sale is off, we can not honor any pricing and very rigid about it. The last customer service girl, did however take enough time and patience to find out and explain to me that I would need to call the store directly since it was an IN STORE sale even though it was online. Thanks to her, I reached HENRY! Henry understood that I was completely incapable of finalizing my purchase due to an unforeseen circumstance of becoming ill. He is the only one that I think even believed me. He told me that yes the sale was over but that if I could come down today (yesterday) that he would honor the pricing and he did! I will give him all of my future business and recommend that particular store from this day forward. I have been in Sales for over 15 years and have worked with large corporations since I was 17 and I am now 55 years old. I have a world of clients and contacts and friends and I will tell everyone I know what he did for me!! Thank you Henry, you are a true gentleman and I can only hope that your company takes good care of you and maybe they can improve on their CHAT and PHONE contacts in the future, we can only hope:) Starting with this post on all of my Social Media. Thank you Henry!Kelly D
Location good..otherwise.. disappointing..the cashier that greeted me and pointed me in the area of the items, I needed, was nice... the rest of the employees... were pointless...too concerned with talking loudly about their personal lives... the store is out of stock of almost everything prices are way to high for the items that are there... I mean...all I needed was mailing supplies for goodness sake.... so I left... pissed...and went to Staples in Central Park.
3 days, 3 days is how long it took me to get an order done at this store! 1st day, I took in a document that was front and back eight sides and color . The machine printed purple instead of blue and was reluctant to staple in the middle. It took a while but Veronica was able to get it corrected but not before I had to go into the entire document and change all of the blue to another hue . I picked this box up on the second day, but it took the sales person 20 minutes to locate the order which was found sitting on the desk directly in front of me! Now, I am there for the second day and the first gentleman printed the order upsides down and backwards. 2nd he printed in black-and-white when I requested color. I had to leave because that entire process took almost an hour and 15 minutes. So I return today, the 3rd day to pick up the order. Two people searched for over 30 minutes and the order was nowhere to be found. Finally a nice young man who appeaed to know how the machines were supposed to work, printed the order but it still took over an hour to get 250 piece of paper printed correctly! Not the biggest highlight in my day.
Employees dont even acknowledge that youre there and you have to find one that just walked by. Then had an attitude.
The staff at Office Depot were great. Ordered 6 office chairs to be delivered in 5 weeks due to construction. So what to my surprise do I find just 3 days after I placed the order? 6 office chairs on my porch!!! My order was correct so the mess up is probably up the line!! Now where to put them until the construction is complete?!
I showed up fairly late on a Saturday, as I was desperate for a new office chair. I had a coupon code for online orders, so I posed if I could just use it for an in store purchase. An employee wasnt sure how to answer and tried to tell me Id have to order the chair and pick it up in a couple days :-(. I asked the manager on duty for a second opinion, and he was quick to point out that i could order online and have it what I wanted out the door in twenty minutes or less. It only took ten. Got a new desk chair, and Ill certainly be back to Office Depot in Central Park. (but if I have Qs, ill just go straight to the manager.)
Consistently listing items online at the wrong price and canceling the orders after they have been confirmed. This is happening often enough for me to get suspicious
Store is kinda dreary ... Employees were pleasant. Store was a bit tumbleweed when we went there. Its seen better days.
Ive been standard/ sitting/ walking around in the desk section for half an hour. Went looking for an employee to find a line of customers at the front at checkout waiting on someone to ring them up too.
I use their printing services. I email them what I need and drop by to pick up my order. Very convenient!
The young lady behind the copying/faxing counter is VERY knowledgeable. Excellent service!!
Thank u Diana for all your help today ! Making sure I received the sale prices on alll my items ... always great service there !
They suck.. possibly worst service Ive ever seen
Nice staff. Found what I wanted on sale. Happy.
Very poor service the manager Emily was very rude not helpful at all
The lack of customer service here is unbelievable. I came in here trying to print a file. I was told they couldnt help me because there was no one working in that department. DO NOT COME HERE TO PRINT ANYTHING.
Good sales. Friendly, helpful staff.
They lost my print order and then told me I’d have to wait an hour for them to do a reprint because there was other people waiting. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Rude. Employees just standing around talking instead of helping customers. Wasn’t even greeted when I came in.
Not that many office supply items or variety. Quite sad and abandoned.
Not too crowded with shoppers
Walked to register to ask cashier MICHAEL for assistance & he saysyeah what... !!! I reported to on duty mgr HENRY CHINN who walked over to him & they laughed... !! reporting to DM & corporate.
Very helpful staff!
Very disappointed in the customer service. One employee on the floor with multiply customers waiting. This has been going on for awhile, with the last few visits to this store.
Way too expensive
Office Depot
I bought a desk and they were super helpful with trying to get it into my car. It didnt end up fitting, but they were helpful in exchanging it to have the desk delivered instead. Overall just really great customer service.
