Brought a few things in to borrow money. Granted my payment was a little late, so I expected fees. They charged me over 100$ more and in no time had everything on the shelves for sale, although I had always come through on previous deals and always paid. I wasn’t even 90 days late… and on top of all that they lost my laptop case and argued with me saying I never had one. I know what I brought in and I definitely had the laptop in the case. They lost my items and argued with me about what I had… sounds like super customer service doesn’t it? And now my laptop is all scratched up. I would avoid this place now.

I was in a tough spot and needed some money fast. I googled the other reviews on best pawn shop for guns. I took what I had in to be pawned and they seriously gave me a good price! I was so pleased with their services and friendliness of the employees. They didnt look at me like I was just another female that they could pull one over on! The gentleman that helped was very kind and helpful!! The next time I needed to use a pawn shop, there was no doubt about it, I was going back to them. I was helped by the same man and he even showed me the comparison on the computer screen! I was shocked, because no one had done that before anywhere else. No low-balling from this company! Definitely giving them 5 stars and recommend them for those that need it!

This is the only time i have ever pawned an item. Im an old lady 77 y.o. I was at my wits end after a series of events left me in desperate need of $400. I took a little bag of jewelry into Liberty. They treated respectfully & loaned me the money. The fees are high but they were a lifesaver. It took me 3 months to recover my finances & reclaim my pieces. I would use them again if I ever needed to.

Have both pawned items and sold estate jewelry here. Service is always courteous and helpful; sometimes there is a small wait, as its a busy place but its always been well staffed. The first time I had gold & silver jewelry to sell, I did a ton of research on how to identify, weigh and price it because I didnt want to let it go for a ridiculous amount. Im not a haggler, so I wanted to know I was being given a fair price. Their offer was right on the money so I made money and they made money. They have earned my trust.

Decided to give this place a chance after I read some reviews a lot a great stuff to be said about this store. The staff knows what they are doing went in one day to look at video games they had the ones I wanted and I bought them. I was also looking for a certain game system they kept me on a call list and called me when they had it in and I bought it that day. I love this shop and I will always come back.

I went in looking for an inexpensive computer to play around with different Linux distros. Shane helped me pick one out that absolutely perfect for what I was looking for. Today I went in to sell some jewelry. A Tiffany necklace and my wedding rings. The first gentleman was very attentive. He examined it and was trying to give price. The second gentleman proceeded to critique my jewelry and alluded to the chain on the necklace not being authentic. The ring which was from JBR...12 years old but legitimate I had papers. He states the diamond itself wasnt the greatest and the other diamonds werent true diamonds. He then wouldnt even give me an estimate. Told me to post on Facebook I might get a little. What horrible way to deal with a customer. It felt like he basically told me my stuff was a fraud and not good enough for his store. Thanks a lot . Im a struggling single mother who was trying to sell a mothers day gift I just got and my rings which were real and was hard to me even consider pawning. Jerks

Liberty Pawn is awesome, and particularly this location. Great prices (buying or selling!) and they always have new and really excellent inventory. Theyre also clearly run by some great people. My brother was in there talking with the guy behind the counter about sobriety issues and the guy was extremely encouraging and supportive. This is the most unprofessional and pathetic pawn shop Ive ever dealt with. I attempted to purchase an item on their online store, the item was originally priced at $119 or best offer, I put in an offer for $100 and they countered with an offer of $190 and changed the price to $199. This pawnshop is run by thugs and decievers that have proven theyll do anything to take your money. Beware...

Went in to have my wifes necklace repaired. Dave and Mark were very helpful. Dave not only repaired the necklace, but he also cleaned it and provided a box. Worked here for a short time and I have got to say the employees there are some of the nicest people you will meet. The owners are great people and know a lot about everything you could ever possibly want to know about anything they have. I learned a ton while there.The prices are extremely fair and quite easily the most reasonable and reputable out of any pawn shop in the area. At other pawn shops you can often search a product to find out they are charging new prices or higher. Meanwhile this pawn shop does their research on every item they sell to insure you are getting the best deal.They also have an online store and also sell on Ebay, which makes browsing the inventory of their multiple stores quite easy. Love this place.

Looked like more of a thrift shop than a pawn shop. I was there for over twenty minutes and got no help not even a hello all the employees seemed to be more interested in their phones than helping any one. i would not recomend this shop to anyone. I went to the liberty pawn and gold at the 616 Stoney creek dr, Fredericksburg location and I was extremely disappointed! I was looking at a 4K ruby necklace with my fiancé and the man that was helping us told me the price and I asked what he could do on it if I paid cash. He said word for word, “come back when you have that kind of money.” Are you kidding me?! How insanely rude! I will not ever be returning to that location ever again. It’s a shame because I did prepare to pay full price that day for the piece. Extremely judgmental behavior for employees to have will drive away customers clearly.

I was in hard times and had to do a loan on a very expensive ring that I was so nervous doing as I have never done a loan before. Anna did the transaction. Kevin gave me peace of mind when I went in there to pay interest to get another 30 days. I was so worried bc I lost the ticket and Kevin reassured me it was only a $5 charge and no one could get that ring out but me bc they took my picture. I got my ring back with no troubles when i paid it off about 45 days into the loan and Shane (AKA Happy) even offered to clean it for me for free and he did. Thank you Liberty Pawn and Gold at 616 Stoney Creek Dr, Fredericksburg VA bc you changed my views of pawn shops and you will be the only one getting my business. You guys were fair, professional, empathetic, respectful, and HONEST!
