First off, the donuts, they are the BEST. My husband and I try to come in every weekend and look forward to see what unique flavors they have for the week. I’ve never had a bad one there but my favorites are the maple bacon and strawberry filled! Second, the staff. Amazing. They are so kind, personable and friendly- I don’t know their names but especially the guy with the beard and the woman with glasses and tattoos. Extra points for it being dog friendly, they treated my dogs like royalty and gave them some plain donuts! The shop itself is in a great quiet location, and I just love the vibe. They have the coolest set up with Halloween right now with music and decor. All around 10/10, it’s our favorite little gem in Fredericksburg. See you all next weekend!

This is a nice local place. The staff is very friendly and the donuts are great. I liked the roast and bean selection for the espresso but my latte was pretty milky. If your getting a latte, add an extra shot.

I did not care for Sugar Shack doughnuts but Freddys? Youve won me over! Good service, nice selection and I will be back. P.S. You HAVE to try the cro-nut!

Best donuts in town hands down - they offer cake old fashioned in seasonal flavors and yeast raised that are so fluffy and tender they melt in the mouth. Creative toppings and special themed or limited items are available on the weekend. If you’re wanting to get your hands on a special item (like the golden snitch donuts they make for Harry Potters birthday) call them up and reserve your donuts in advance. In addition to the donuts they serve up a great selection of lattes, frappes and more. Servers are friendly and fast. There’s covered outdoor seating and onsite parking.

Brought my kids & nephew here as a treat last weekend and we LOVED it! The donuts have unique flavors and fun themes which the kiddos giggled about. I even indulged in an iced mocha - DELICIOUS! Highly recommend and yes, we will definitely be back! =)

What a great locally owned business! Customer service is top notch and genuine. All of their donuts are made fresh daily and creatively by there talented staff. You really can taste the love and dedication in all of their products. Next time you are craving a good cup of coffee or something sweet, be sure to support this small owned business instead of the faceless franchises that frequent the area. You won’t be disappointed!

We stopped at Freddys for breakfast when traveling through town. It was worth the trip! The donut holes were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Each donut we tried was better than the last. The staff was super sweet and helpful. I only wish Freddys was closer to my house, I could get addicted!

(Mostly) vegan donuts!! The donuts themselves are vegan and a lot of the icing/toppings are vegan as well. BEST DONUTS WE HAVE EVER HAD. And wow! The cinnamon bun? Huge and delicious. The people who work there were absolutely delightful the two times we have been also. Can’t wait to go back next time we are visiting from Sweden!!!

The smile this place puts on my boyfriend with celiac is incredible. They sell gluten free doughnuts and can top it how you want. The people there are so very kind. And they have a giant aloe plant outside ! The regular doughnuts taste very good and he says the gluten free doughnuts are delicious too! 10/10 (: thank you for making gluten free doughnuts

The doughnuts are amazing. They also have bubble Tea (I personally havent had it) and the iced coffee is pretty good. I will say in the past that it seemed they didnt change the fryer oil like they should. (Might have been when it was Sugar Shack)That definitely changes the taste of the doughnuts and they get an old oil taste. However my recent visit the doughnuts were huge, fresh and delicious. :) There is a tray of doughnuts missing in the picture because they were just bringing out a fresh batch. They also now have old Fashioned doughnuts.(vanilla, chocolate and red velvet)

Came here during an out of town stay after seeing the awesome building art! Happened to be Harry Potter day and they were celebrating with HP themed donuts! Bought for the bride of a wedding who is obsessed with donuts and she said they were amazing- and she’s a true donut connoisseur!

Cashier was patient. There were so many options. We ended up buying 3 and splitting each one between the two of us. The donuts are HUGE & very fluffy. I wish it wasnt so hot that day so we couldve taken a picture. We got the black & white, oreo, and fruity pebble. All 3 were amazing.

Freddy Donuts is like Sugar Shack if it leveled up and stepped up the charm game by 100%. Great donuts and cool people. Also the coffee’s really convenient if you’re driving to work. Downtown has a ton of coffee shops but none of them are car friendly. Plants and outdoor seating really make the spot special, and it looks especially welcoming at night. You can tell how much love and care goes into the shop.

First time visiting today and I loved it! Ive lived in Virginia for three years and couldnt find a donut shop comparable to my favorite place at home. THESE were so yummy. The donuts are on the heavier side and come with a perfect amount of topping/icing. So many flavors too!I appreciated the friendly and fast staff. I was in and out pretty quick during their peak time.My only gripe is parking availability. Im just going to fantasize about them getting a drive through window!

My daughter enjoyed her donut... mine had a piece of bacon on it... I’m a vegetarian for spiritual reasons and was not happy with the cross contamination... I would suggest they put the ones with bacon separately... it’s never happened to me anywhere else

Swung by Freddy’s donuts over the weekend and pick up a dozen that were freshly baked. I’m not much of a donut fan, but even I have to admit that these were very good donuts. My wife and daughters loved them and raved over the “Maple Bacon” and “Fruity Pebble” donuts. They definitely have a unique thing here and it’s worth stopping by to check them out.

It was my sister’s and I first time there and she’s vegan I’m not lol I love all the meats 😂 they had a WIDE variety of Vegan donuts as well as regular ones! The atmosphere and the people there were so welcoming their whole demeanor was contagious!! Thank you guys for making our Halloween special we will definitely visit again soon! Loved the artwork on the outside wall, great muralThe store was packedEveryone including the employees were wearing mask and trying very hard to honor the 6 ft distancing rule.When it was my turn, I was do confused.My mouth was watering more & more with each minute that passed while I waited in line.I got Tony the Monster Apple Fritter (I kid you not....as big as my hand))) and a specialty Derp Fudge Chocolate & for myself a Croissant Flat Donut which was so flaky, sugary and did I mention DELICIOUS!!!!If I lived close by I would gain all my weigh back. Theh are so so so good!!!!

The Butter beer donuts are astounding. For my first time there it blew my mind on how large the donuts are compared to the common chains. I was a little overwhelmed by the tea options just because I wasnt expecting teas. I am eager to try some of the boboa (sp?) tea the next time I go. Prices are a little high for donuts but worth every penny.

First time coming here and I was extra confused because Google labels this place as a Sugar Shack Donuts but it’s called Freddy’s Donuts in and out of the store. Not sure what that is about.Either way, the donuts were fantastic. I got the vanilla sprinkle, a glazed, a maple bacon, and an experimental flavor which I personally thought was the best and was absolutely amazing in every regard, which was the salted caramel cake donut.The customer service was fast and pleasant, the prices are more than reasonable, and the quality is very high. I’ll definitely be visiting here again, good job guys/gals.
